Volunteer chaplains in North Carolina’s Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department have been told not to use Jesus’ name in prayers at public events held on government property.
Pastor Terry Sartain of Horizon Christian Fellowship told FOX News Radio he was informed of the change by his superior major just before he was about to give a invocation at a promotion ceremony.
‘I was told chaplains can no longer invoke the name of Jesus on government property,’ Mr Sartain said.
‘[He said] if I could refrain from that during the invocation he would appreciate that.’
Mr Sartain said he was upset by the new rules.
‘I’m very sad about it,’ he continued.
‘I’m a pastor and Jesus is the only thing I have to offer to bless people — his life and his person.’
He said that he had used the name of Jesus in the past at police events and not had run into any barriers then.

SOCIAL workers want to seize a baby as soon as it is born because they are concerned about the mother’s violent links to the English Defence League.
Durham County Council has told Toni McLeod she would pose a “risk of significant harm” to the baby. Social workers fear the child would become radicalised with EDL views and want it put up for adoption immediately.
Mrs McLeod, who is 35 weeks pregnant, is a former leading member of the EDL, in which she was notorious as “English Angel”. The 25-year-old has a string of convictions for violence, including butting and biting a police officer after an EDL march in 2010 and she has been banned from owning dogs after setting a pit bull on a former partner.
However, her cause has been taken up by Lib Dem MP John Hemming who, despite his loathing for the EDL, raised it in the Commons. He contrasts her treatment with that of the extremist Islamic cleric Abu Qatada, who was allowed to remain with his children when he was briefly remanded on bail earlier this year as the Government tries to deport him.

He said: “It raises a curious question as to why Abu Qatada is allowed to radicalise his children but the state won’t take the chance of allowing Toni McLeod to look after her baby in case she says something social workers won’t like.
“I am very strongly opposed to the EDL, which I believe to be a racist organisation, but I do not think we should remove all of the children of the people who go on their demonstrations, however misguided they may be.”
Mrs McLeod has posted racist abuse on social networking sites but denies being racist. She claims she is no longer active with the EDL and has never been charged with violence against children.
Social workers have told her husband Martyn he would be unable to care for his child because he is a full-time soldier just back from Afghanistan.
Is it my imagination? Or is this unusual?
Someone needs to do a real study on this. In less than 24 hours after this awful triple murder, the suspect was named, his picture shown, and his car described including the licence plate number. This person is white with a classic Anglo name. It seems to me when the Toronto Eatons centre shooter, of whom there was numerous videos taken at the time, was not identified even though the police knew who he was immediately, as he was in fact already in a prison half-way house on other sexual assault charges.
Someone really should do a real study on this. It certainly appears there is a strong racial and cultural bias in the way criminals are presented by Canada’s media and police forces.

I changed the title of this post because, as it was rightly pointed out to me, the salient point about these people, ‘Queers against Israeli Apartheid’ or something very much like that, is not that they are gay. It is that they hate the state of Israel. Clearly Israel is by light years more friendly to homosexuals than any of its Muslim neighbors. It is most likely that leftists and Islamic influence operations have arranged this group in order to take the highly fashionable gay pride march and turn it into something quite different.
Apologies to any and all who were offended. It cannot be denied that many gay organizations are far left leaning and therefore will not adjust policies to be less hostile to Israel etc. even though it is in the interest of genuine gay rights. (Ottawa’s Capital Extra newspaper for example) but this again has little to do with the gay community, or gay people as a whole, each of which I am confident, have the same agency to form their own opinions as diverse as any other segment of the population, other than those defined by beliefs.
Gay people are not a faith or political group. They are a sexual orientation. But there are certainly those who would like to hijack those voices and make it one.
Ezra Levant being censored by hidden and unaccountable overlords
I love my country. Canada is an amazing place with an amazing people in many ways, and no, not just because the entire East coast could be the Shire, and the population, Hobbits.
But that also.
However in some ways, we really are a third world toilet. Ezra Levant was the leading edge of the now-successful assault on the so-called, ‘Human Rights Commissions’ which in fact suppressed basic human rights for their own financial gain and the advancement of their personal politics. The commissions still exist, but at least Ezra caused them to have an incisor or two removed. Hopefully without anesthetic.
Now, Ezra is taking on the long-overdue battle with other hidden, patronage-appointed boards who regulate secretly what we may or may not hear on broadcast TV.
No wonder everyone is turning to the internet.
Lets hope he wins this battle, then takes the CRTC to the veterinarian, if you know what I mean, and has an organ removed from them they should never have had in the first place.
Thank you Ezra. You have, and continue to do more for freedom and individual liberty in Canada than possibly any other single person in our history.
Gangs raping and sexually exploiting vulnerable white young girls ‘is an Asian problem’, top Crown prosecutor admits
Even when the U.K. admits the nature of a problem, it still lies in the most fundamental ways. Chinese, Japanese, Korean (yes even North) Thai, Burmese, Hindus Etc. etc. should really sue the British government, the BBC and the state of England and the UK in general for this continued grotesque and defacto racist policy of calling crimes that are inspired and motivated by the ideology of Islam and blaming it on people from the continent of Asia, as if that geographical point of origin is what mattered.
This is grotesque racism of the very worst kind. Yet the British do it to shield the ideology that is in fact responsible, compounding this crime.

The sexual exploitation and grooming of young vulnerable white girls is a ‘particular problem in Asian communities’, one of Britain’s top prosecutors admitted for the first time today.
In a year when several paedophile gangs were convicted of raping and prostituting victims in north west England, Nazir Afzal says it is impossible not to notice ‘that the perpetrators were Asian and the victims were not.’
The Chief Crown Prosecutor for the region added that ‘cultural baggage and the status of women among some men in these communities contributes to their disrespect for the rights of women.’
It was claimed last month that fears they would be branded racist meant that police and social services left one group free to rape up to 50 white girls, and Mr Afzal said today he would not ‘turn a blind eye.’
It came as the Commons Home Affairs Select Committee announced yesterday a day of evidence next week because its members and chairman Keith Vaz are ‘very concerned by the recent cases of child exploitation.’
The Labour MP for Leicester East has previously said: ‘I do not think it is a race issue.’
In these disturbing recent cases most victims were white, aged between 13 and 16, many were from vulnerable backgrounds or the care system, and the majority were plied with booze and drugs before being systematically abused.
Speaking to The Times today Mr Afzal said: ‘Exploitation happens in every community but these cases demonstrate that group grooming is a particular problem in Asian community. I will not turn a blind eye to crimes in any community.’

He spoke out as two Asian men, Mahfuzur Rahman and Abdul Hannan, were convicted of raping or sexually assaulting four young white women in their area after they picked them up and got them drunk.
In an originally botched prosecution in 2009, victims gave detailed evidence about being violently raped by Rahman before charges were dropped because evidence was said to lack credibility.
Once the case was abandoned, Rahman was free to target a 17-year-old from a nearby children’s home, plying her with vodka before sexually assaulting her at his flat.
His other victims were also violently raped or assaulted while very drunk.

Long Beach Police Commissioner Michael Tangney, a longtime Democrat, demoted the cops, cut their overtime, switched them to midnight shifts and even filed false internal charges against them for “political payback,” the veteran officers claim in a $39 million lawsuit.

A recent CBC.ca report “Israel returns remains of 91 Palestinian militants” is a
fascinating study of bizarre journalistic behaviours and standards.
In fact, this short and sweet little tidbit is more interesting in what it fails to report than what it actually reports. The story was originally written by the Associated Press, but was heavily edited by the CBC before being posted on the CBC.ca site.
Who were these 91 people?
Today’s journalists call people who commit terrorist actions ‘militants’. It’s supposed to be ‘fair’ journalistic practice. In this case, it’s also a nice vague term for these people who indiscriminately murdered civilians for political purposes.
Initially, neither AP nor CBC.ca bothered to tell us what these 91 people did that caused their death, beyond a single sentence (“All 91 were killed over the past decades while carrying out suicide bombings or other attacks on Israeli targets”). That sentence came from ‘Palestinian officials’. It makes it sound like the ‘militants’ died attacking Israel Defense Force military positions. The CBC later updated the story to provide some details, but still held back reporting that these 91 ‘militants’ include suicide bombers who carried out the 2003 attacks on the No. 2 bus and at Cafe Hillel in Jerusalem, the 1996 suicide bombing of a hitchhiking post in Ashkelon, two buses in Beersheba in 2004, and the Savoy Hotel attack in Tel Aviv in 1975. In other words, they killed indiscriminately, focusing on civilian ‘soft targets’.
Thousands of Israelis died, or were maimed by the barbaric attacks, carried out by these Palestinian ‘militants’. These 91 ‘militants’ performed violence against Israeli civilians, that is as barbaric and shocking as the violence reported yesterday in Houla Syria.
Where are the Victims in this Report?
The CBC and AP dropped any pretense of fairness and balance in reporting this story. The Palestinian side is over-reported, and the Israeli side under-reported. The human interest side of the story ends with the Palestinian families. There is no human interest reporting of the Israeli side at all.
Neither AP nor CBC hints that each one of these ‘militant’ remains is associated with dead Israeli civilians whose families who also mourn them. The Palestinian families of the ‘militants’ (i.e., the families of the killers) are interviewed and presented for the readers’ empathy, but no Israeli victim families were interviewed.
Similarly, neither report even mentioned that there exists an Israeli organization called the Almagor Terror Victims Association, which expressed strong reservations about returning the remains (among which was that the concern that the PA would use this as an opportunity to glorify the terrorists and terrorism). This additional information was available from many credible Israeli news sources (which the CBC has used in the past), but the CBC chose to ignore the Israeli side instead.
Imagine reading a news report about Paul Bernardo, which featured interviews with his tearful family, but nobody mentioned his victims or talked to their families. Wouldn’t that look strange? Wouldn’t it leave a bad taste in your mouth?
Pomp and Ceremony
The CBC described the Palestinian families waiting to receive the remains. In a twist of sheer weirdness, they initially reported it just like they report the return of slain Canadian soldiers from Afghanistan (right down to the description of “Palestinian government ceremonies honouring the dead militants”).
But five hours later, they posted the parts of the AP report that they’d initially withheld – the parts that explicitly described how many Israelis were killed by each interviewee’s dead ‘militant’.
Why did it take 5 hours for the CBC to post the only thing kept this Palestinian ceremony from looking like a Canadian Ramp Ceremony?

Voice of Russia attempts hatchet job on Tommy Robinson
Voice of Russia, the fully and overtly state controlled broadcaster of Russia set up a 4 person panel to attempt to crush Tommy Robinson in something that could be passed off as debate. Something we have come to expect more from the BBC or CBC than from Russian media, which, while clearly agenda driven, often is more fair to serious issues than much state controlled Western media these days.

Nine Asian men were today found guilty of grooming and passing round vulnerable white schoolgirls aged between 13 and 15 for sex after plying them with alcohol and drugs.
Five girls were ‘shared’ by Kabeer Hassan, Abdul Aziz, Abdul Rauf, Mohammed Sajid, Adil Khan, Abdul Qayyum, Mohammed Amin, Hamid Safi and a 59-year-old man who cannot be named for legal reasons.
The ten-week trial was told that the men – who are all from Pakistan, some from the same village, apart from Safi who is from Afghanistan – groomed the teenage girls because they were vulnerable and from broken homes,
Today the leader of the Ramadhan Foundation that on-street grooming ‘is a significant problem for the British Pakistani community’.
