French government doubles down on totalitarian crushing of ideas critical of regime
This is serious.. Four people arrested at a demonstration critical of the arrest of General Piquemal two weeks ago in Calais
at the Calais demonstration on Feb.
The arrest can be seen here in the video below, which was surprisingly difficult to find. It seems like the videos with the name of the General don’t show the arrest. You have to watch ones that don’t get the name right to see one that does. Curious that.
I guess totalitarian regimes know a Casus Belli when they see one.
Calais, the protest, the hero, the turn-around and the questions
As this site reported, during the protest in Calais by PEGIDA that the government banned but citizens did anyway, a former general and commander of the French Foreign Legion in the 1990s, General Piquemal, was the figurehead and champion of the people of Calais for this demonstration.
Regula readers of this site might have noticed a somewhat conspicuous absence of information after the brutal and well videotaped arrest of the General by police, even while ‘ANTI-FA’ violent protestors went unmolested.
The General was in jail that night and in hospital the next, after which he gave a stunning speech about how wrong he was to be at the protest and made other noises consistent with current government policies in France today. After he was released, he made another sharp turn and spoke again about the plight of the indigenous French.
It will take some time and research to come up with some kind of definitive explanation for these events but the video below may offer some data points at least. It would not be unfair to suspect that the General may have experienced some kind of government pressure to say the things he did subsequent to his release. But this is speculation for the moment.

I was at his side when General Piquemal was brutally arrested
As agreed on the phone with your editor in chief, I herewith testify to what I saw at the event this February 6, 2016 in Calais.
I live this city, today devastated forever. I want to note that this is the first time that such police personnel and such repressive means have been deployed to a demonstration which was entirely peaceful.
At the last demonstration by migrants, No Borders and antifa, these means were not used, while the statue of General (De Gaulle) was tagged, vehicles were damaged, and the port invaded, with hundreds of illegal intrusions into a ferry.
This time we had two water cannon trucks on site as well as many police personnel. Despite the absence of provocation on our part, CRS (Riot Police) gave out the tear gas on us, and we were charged with it three times.
General Piquemal, who was about to leave the demonstration after a call to the protesters to disperse, was arrested with incredible violence. I was with him, I was pushed brutally against the barriers, a man in his fifties, who was standing next to me, was knocked to the ground, falling and hitting his head forcefully on the pavement.
About twenty people were arrested and taken away by bus.
I myself was taken to the side and arrested for a short while. A CRS (riot police) took my name and date of birth. After 15 minutes, I was released.
We then went in a small group (about thirty people) towards the police station to demand the release of General Piquemal.
But when we arrived a large number of police were waiting for us. Two water cannons had been brought there, the police barricaded their entrance doors and CRS (Riot Police) were positioned outside the door.
After about 45 minutes of waiting, we left after the CRS had threatened us with arrest.
I note that the Cazeneuve (Minister of Interior) police, are allowing migrants attack with impunity Lorry drivers, police and Calaisiens with impunity, while uncompromisingly rebuking a hero of the nation, General Piquemal, and the nation’s patriots.
This is further evidence that the country is run by traitors.

The following is an eye witness account of the events at the Cologne PEGIDA demonstration which was ended when heavy police equipment such as water-cannon and tear-gas was turned on the peaceful German peoples by the state. One woman in our group tried to leave the
demonstration because the Police aimed the
water canon into the crowd of the participants,
Moms and dads. A policeman hurled her back into the crowd by the arms with the words:
“Your own fault, if you go to such a demonstration ! “
Already when we arrived, the police police
pulled us to the side and COMMANDED us to
show the contents of our pockets and bags.
A paperbag was ripped out of the hands of an acquaintance. No friendly word was spoken, not even a reasonable tone. It was already then that I told people in our group I feared bad things would happen today. And I was right.
If the media everywhere now reports that the mood was heated from the outset, I can only say that these are blatant lies. The place was so packed with people that it was a joy to behold. The speeches were super, the calls “Merkel must go, we are the people, Jäger must go” echoed across the square. It was a Super atmosphere.
When the march was about to start, the police stopped it every few minutes. We were stopped every 100 meters. In between one firecracker exploded. ONE FIRECRACKER ! ONE SINGLE ONE !!! After 10 minutes, the march was stopped completely.
We stood on the same spot for about 20 minutes without anything happening. We just stood around. Shortly afterwards some more firecrackers exploded, no more than five or six I guess from memory.
Attention: mark well my next point: Only a few meters from us, a man threw something with his hand to the side. We did not see what it was. We only saw the movement of his arm to the left. I personally did not pay much attention to it, I probably thought of a fag (cigarette). 2 seconds later there was a blow next to us so strong that I thought my body would be torn to pieces. I immediately looked at the man, he walked away. What a goddamn asshole, I thought to myself, is this idiot fully sick in his head?
This guy only provokes, so that the police can take action against us faster. The only thing I remember of the man is that he wore a grey felt jacket, in fashion right now, and that he was really tall, 1.90 even 2 meters. I would not remember his face, but lets get back to that later: Although the police officers realized that several thousand people (not 1700 as the media reported, you can see that for yourself in the videos) were standing on the same spot, did not know what was going on and became increasingly restless because nothing was happening and no one knew how it would continue, they still brought out the water cannons, very well visible from a long distance,facing Pegida.
That’s when we became frightened. At that moment, the police had provoked panic among the people. Please note that the few members from Hogesa were not the mass. The overwhelming majority of people were decent Burgers, of mature age. Women, a few children,Men.
At this moment I said to my friend, Stephanie Abt: “Now they will start to produce the TV pictures the media demand! “ When then the police announced that the march has to stop and that we all had to turn back, the concert of whistles against the police was unbelievable.
People shouted: “Where were you on New Years Eve?” and “we want to move on”, or “Traitors”.At the front waterbottles were thrown at the police. Errrrrrrr stop: PET-bottles. No GLASS bottles. And beer cans.
So definitely no projectiles such as paving stones or other dangerous objects. That is not an excuse, simply an explanation about what kind of projectiles we are speaking here. They were non dangerous plastic bottles.
Shortly thereafter, the crowd was sprayed with teargas. I have never in my life raised a hand against a policeman. But at this moment they have treated us all, me included, as if we were dangerous criminals on the run.
We then returned all to the stage at the Central Station. After a few minutes the first speaker, I don’t remember who it was, took the mic and began to calm the people down. Now you have to imagine people sitting around everywhere, some lying down. They all had massive injuries on their faces, in their eyes, some women cried out in pain, men howled snot and water because they had serious burns on their faces, especially in the eyes. Some had bleeding lacerations on their heads.Among all the injured there were just 3, perhaps 4 members of Hogesa. The rest of the injured were those family fathers, mothers, a few young people, boys and girls, as I have mentioned before.
No emergency doctor, not even paramedics came to the injured people. The police simply left them to them to their own devices. NOT EVEN THE POLICE TOOK CARE OF THE WOUNDED !!! THEY STOOD CALMLY BY AND JUST WATCHED !!!
Eventually other event participants supplied them (the injured) with bottled water. Eyes were rinsed, tissues were pressed into wounds. Meanwhile the Police continued to provoke in such an incredible way that one can only say it was unworthy of a Policeforce of a Nation of Law.
THEY DROVE 2 WATERCANONS with their bumpers almost touching the knees of the participants who stood before the stage. Aiming at adult people with those huge water cannons who were as menacing as tanks, nearly touching the feet of the participants. The rest of the participants focused on the speaker. It was completely quiet again. I guess the people were still partially in shock. In the middle of the speech then the sudden announcement that the event had been declared as “over” by the police. Why? No idea. It was absolutely quiet. Nothing more happened.
The spokesman announced that the event was terminated and at that moment the police started moving again and encircled us. As we wanted to hastily leave the place at the opposite side of the square, we were faced with a police block !!!!
We (were told we) should leave the place in the opposite direction. I just looked at the policeman and asked him if he is pulling our leg. I said verbatim to him he should look in the direction into which he wanted to send us.There were Water canons and Police were spraying defenceless participants with teargas. He could not care less. Here we could not pass through. So There ! We were trapped. Behind us water canons, tear gas and rubber truncheons and in front of us police who simply prevented us from following their orders to leave the place.
At this moment, the guy from before, with the firecrackers, appeared about 2 meters from me. Immediately I yelled at the police that this was the guy with the explosives. The guy pulled out his wallet and showed it to the policeman. Next to him was another man: mustache, approximately 1.70 m high. He pulled a leather pouch from his back pocket and showed it also to the police. Although I screamed that the police should hold the guy because he was the one who had thrown firecrackers into the crowd, the police let him and the 2nd man whom I had not seen before, climb over the barrier and run into the Central Station.
The police told us that they were Media people. They did not arrest them to check their identity. It is absolutely necessary to clarify if it was not the Police themselves who threw the firecrackers to discredit the event. Those who, like me just now, have watched the whole video, will find that the police played a very strange game here.
I herewith suspect the police very publicly and officially of a deliberate collision course in order to harm Pegida. Pegida has been already 43 times in Duisburg. With Hogesa and with other hooligans, with citizens, with older, with younger participants. With men, with women.
Never before has there been an escalation. But just in Cologne the atmosphere explodes?
No. The game played here is played under a false flag. And that must be clarified.
[EDITOR: I would like to add as an aside, that in a recent interview of Tommy Robinson by Ezra Levant, Mr. Robinson revealed that when he did a sort of charity/demonstration march with Kevin Carrol a few years ago through Luton I think it was, that the person who came and punched him hard in the face and marched off in front of the police, and then the police arrested him for assault, even though he didn’t even defend himself, was in fact a police officer who had intended to provoke Mr. Robinson so that they could arrest him and end his demonstration.
When I saw the interview I had little doubt that this was exactly as Tommy explained it was, but after reading this it appears that there is an over-aching strategy by the European, and probably soon US and Canadian law enforcement services, to make sure that a heavy hand will be used on those who expect rule and protection of the law but go against the Marxist-Muslim revolution that is playing out in front of us]

The State prosecutor has become active against Heidi Mund – the accusation is incitement
Against Heidi Mund who became famous as a radical Christian, the State prosecutor has decided to take action for incitement. She was reported to have committed these acts with her “Prayer proposals” on the Day of German Unity.
Since Heidi Mund shifted her political agitation from the street to the Internet, barely a day goes by without a message to her followers. The former front woman of the “Freien Bürger” (free citizens) and “Pegida Rhein Main” has set up another mailing list – “Save Europe” – which has explicitly set itself the goal of saving Germany from Islam.
On the Day of German Unity, Mund had called for a human chain around Germany “as a spiritual wall”, … and with the “authority of God” to resist the “forces of darkness”.
“Praying hand in hand for our country” calls the radical Christian her appeal for an act of resistance, which took place on 3 and 4 October with moderate involvement – and on 4 October a private complaint followed against Heidi Mund. Her “suggestions for prayer” met the requirements for incitement states the complaint.
In it she calls to prayer and calls amongst other things for:
“We pray FOR the genuine refugees that they get renewed hope for their lives that our LORD comforts them … against the mass immigration of 90% of young Muslim men who should build up their own home countries and not rape our girls and women here; that with the Word of God – the Bible – they be sent back to their home countries where they belong. … Against the diseases and epidemics the immigrants have brought with them … . We ask God … the Angel that He places on the borders of Germany and the other European countries.”
As the press office of the Criminal Investigation Department explained upon request, the Frankfurt prosecutor’s office has taken up the matter for legal analysis. However it will not make any details known at this time.

Hamburgs Capacity for Refugee Housing is Exhausted

“In Hamburg-Bergedorf, refugees were sleeping on the street to protest conditions, whereas in Hambur-Harburg refugees are sleeping on the street because they have no other choice.”
Hamburg can at this time not take in any more refugees. For the first time since the beginning of the refugee crisis, they have exhausted their capacities, says Bjorn Domroese, the office manager of the Senator of the Interior Michael Neumann (SPD), on Wednesday.
500 people couldn’t be accommodated last tuesday. So they had to spend the night in front of the registration center at Harburger Poststrasse, in open air. And on Wednesday there still was not enough room for new refugees. “At this point in time we do not see an easing on this situation”, Domroese adds. The Hamburger Abendblatt also reported on this:
We are doing everything we can to create new accommodations. Domroese tells the newspaper, “It could be as early as tomorrow everything will be better.” On Tuesday they registered 600 refugees, but only 100 could be housed at the registration center in containers and tents.
Thursday night bore similar concerns to the municipal office of the interior. Employees were asked to bring in sleeping bags and serve hot drinks. At the beginning of the week, there were between 400 and 500 new refugees arriving daily in the city, and at the moment there are about 30,000 registered refugees in Hamburg.
Using Properties Even Against the Will of the Owners?
The Hamburg citizenry made a first step towards the confiscation of empty properties and use them for the refugees. In a first session the parliament decided on Wednesday with a majority on the “Law for the security of refugee accommodations in camps”.
The final send off of the new bill happened on Thursday, because the CDU, AfD and FDP had impeded a second session in the Parliament. The final voting resulted in 81 yay and 37 nay. It is therefore the will of the SPD, the Green Party and the Left, that Hamburg has the green light to confiscate properties even against the will of the owners of said properties. This is to prevent that refugees have to live in tents during winter. The FDP has said they will take legal action against this decision.
The Interior Minister Joachim Herrmann (CSU) states that throughout Germany, there were more than 270,000 refugees coming into the country just alone in the month of September 2015 – widely surpassing the amount of refugees of the entire year of 2014.

Quebec’s bill 59. Canada’s French province runs screaming from the Enlightenment.
For the past couple of days, a Quebec law professor and former director of a George Soros funded ‘progressive-leftist’ group called Open Society Foundations, has been arguing in the Quebec legislature, that criticism of islam should not just be illegal but punishable by massive fines for a first offense and life destroying ones for a second.
The National Post editorial puts it this way:

Strong stuff for a national newspaper. But potentially an understatement.
As this site has argued since its inception, the most problematic aspect of any lever of power like Bill 59 is the fact that it will be selectively enforced. In this case it would be a safe wager that it will be enforced using the guidelines of UN Resolution 16/18 making it a criminal act to criticize Islam, but not stopping Islam from calling for the genocide of non-believers under their right to religious freedom.
Back to the Post:
Bill 59 assigns new powers to the Quebec Human Rights Commission (QHRC) to combat hate speech, as well as a variety of other provisions meant to protect against extremism, by censoring speech that promotes “fear of the other.” Ominously, the bill would allow the QHRC to pursue websites that in its estimation describe and denounce Islamism.
The bill takes its inspiration from recommendations made public by the QHRC in November 2014. Jacques Frémont, the commission’s president, explained that he planned to use the requested powers to sue those critical of certain ideas, “people who would write against … the Islamic religion … on a website or on a Facebook page.”
Let’s let that sink in for a moment before we move forward.
The Quebec Government is contemplating a bill that seems, even overtly, to criminalize and punish anyone who criticizes a political/religious ideology. Even if islam was not a threat doctrine this bill is an outrageous affront to the most core principles of democracy. One cannot make an informed choice without information.
So who is this Jacques Frémont?

Quebec hate-speech bill prompts strong opinions at public hearings
But the most heated debates took place at the end of the day with the Association des musulmans et des arabes pour la laïcité au Québec (the Association of Muslims and Arabs for a secular Quebec).
Bill 59 was one of a slew of initiatives presented June 10 by the Quebec government to combat radicalization leading to violence, as it pledged to work with the city of Montreal on a deradicalization centre — their concerted response to terrorist attacks last October and the phenomenon of youths leaving Quebec to join terrorist ranks.
But it was also an answer to how to deal with the growing problem of Islamophobia, and on both counts AMAL-Québec welcomed the initiative.
“It is obvious that when the call to hate, demonize, and dehumanize certain groups becomes commonplace, it has the effect of accentuating attitudes filled with prejudice and stereotypes,” said AMAL president Haroun Bouazzi, before the Commission des institutions at the National Assembly in Quebec City.
For anyone uncertain about what “the call to hate, demonize, and dehumanize certain groups” means, just read a koran, the hadiths and the Sunna, or book of the life of Islam’s founder, Mohamed. Alternativly, sit in for a week or so at any mosque and listen to the sermons. Maybe bring a tape recorder so you can have the Arabic bits translated later.
One might wonder if this particular pernicious individual is so dangerous to real liberty and the Enlightenment if he had caught the notice of any of the Counter-Jihadists before?

This is an interview with the President of the Quebec Human Rights Commission. In it, he appears to be saying that Quebec, or Canada, is going to be implementing something which looks a whole lot like the criminalization of criticism of Islam.
I would like to remind every man, woman, child and bureaucrat that freedom of speech was implemented for one thing in the West. To criticize religious and political authority. That once you limit that freedom even one little bit, all other freedoms of speech will diminish exponentially, because all things can be seen as functions of islamic observance.

It would be interesting to see a definition of looting where what the RCMP did in Alberta did not fit perfectly. In fact, that the RMP used lists that it was specifically illegal for them to be in possession of in order to know what homes to break into and steal people’s property makes it worse than random looting. It makes it political and fascist.
Paul Weston Arrested in UK for quoting former British PM, Winston Churchill
This is, at one level, the best proof that the UK is now a communist nation in Cultural Marxism terms. Not only is it an arrest able offense to say something true but that may offend a protected group, even if you quote a recent elected prime minister you can be arrested and potentially sent to prison for it.
Whatever one may think of Paul Weston and his party, this is a travesty and an abomination of democracy. However I doubt it would be different in the US or Canada at this point. I think we shall know soon however.

Winchester: Churchill Quotation Gets Liberty GB Leader Paul Weston Arrested
Today Paul Weston, chairman of the party Liberty GB and candidate in the 22 May European Elections in the South East, has been arrested in Winchester.
At around 2pm Mr Weston was standing on the steps of Winchester Guildhall, addressing the passers-by in the street with a megaphone. He quoted the following excerpt about Islam from the book The River War by Winston Churchill:
“How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries!
Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia
in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent
in many countries. Improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture,
sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the
followers of the Prophet rule or live. A degraded sensualism deprives this
life of its grace and refinement; the next of its dignity and sanctity. The
fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his
absolute property – either as a child, a wife, or a concubine – must delay
the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a
great power among men. Thousands become the brave and loyal soldiers of the
faith: all know how to die but the influence of the religion paralyses the
social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force
exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant
and proselytizing faith.”
Reportedly a woman came out of the Guildhall and asked Mr Weston if he had the authorisation to make this speech. When he answered that he didn’t, she told him “It’s disgusting!” and then called the police.
Six or seven officers arrived. They talked with the people standing nearby, asking questions about what had happened. The police had a long discussion with Mr Weston, lasting about 40 minutes.
At about 3pm he was arrested. They searched him, put him in a police van and took him away.
