Four men were arrested this past week for allegedly plotting a terror attack on two Bronx synagogues and an Air National Guard flight. They possessed a car load of explosives and a Stinger missile they believed to be real (fortunately, it was not).

What do the four men have in common? More than you would ever guess.

Laguerre Payen, Onta Williams, David Williams, and James Cromitie all had violent pasts. All had recently served time in an American prison or jail. Most significantly, all four men exited their prison time as Muslims.

None appears to have been born Muslim; however, the time in an American prison resulted in their embracing the supposed religion of peace, Islam.

How can this be? Very simple. For decades, Islamic groups have strategically targeted American prison populations as a fertile field for growth and as a seedbed for homegrown terrorists. What we are seeing now is merely the fruit of that missionary effort by groups like the National Islamic Prison Foundation, formerly run by a top Al-Qaeda fund-raiser who himself is now behind bars, the Islamic Assembly of North America, and the Islamic Society of North America. Much of these groups’ funding comes from Saudi Arabian proponents of Wahhabism, the most violent segment within Islam. A little-noted editorial in Investors’ Business Daily clearly articulated this threat back in 2007. This week’s arrests made that warning all the more real.

These groups’ strategy is brilliant – find the most disenchanted American residents, who already speak English and understand American culture; attract them to Islam and its most violent expressions; and then turn them loose on their own homeland. In other words, target those Americans most likely to be anti-American and then give them the philosophy and tools to live out those hostile convictions.

Shortly after the events of September 11, in the Wall Street Journal, Charles Colson noted the danger when he wrote, “Two million people occupy America’s prisons and jails today–two-thirds of whom are nonwhite. Many feel oppressed by the white power structure and sentencing disparities, which too often fall most harshly on minorities.”

So what do you get when you have terrorist groups targeting the most angry, resentful, and angry members of American society? Homegrown terrorists like Jose Padilla, the four men suspected in the Bronx plot, not to mention prison convert Richard Reid in Great Britain. The chickens have come home to roost. PBS on the Taliban, use of children as weapons, Islam and Pakistan

Despite this journalists wonderful detachment and staunch effort to show an even objective expose of this issue and these people, it is difficult not to notice the fear she hides when she is face to face with some young turdburger who tells her the government must treat women as plastic bags. You can see she is in immediate danger for her life if she argues the point. These people, Islam, does not debate. These are not Jews. Much of this documentary has nothing new for readers of Vlad. But there are still some shocking revelations about  how serious Islam really is in terms of illiberal values and it’s ambitions for the rest of us, and perhaps mpore interestingly, when PBS does an expose showing the horrors of Islam to this extent. you know things are bad. We expect the facts from FOX when they may not be PC. Its quite another thing when PBS calls it like it is.

Two interesting lists of Muslim attacks in the US foiled and not.

First, a list of attacks on Jews on the US by the religion of peace brought to you by bare naked Islam:

The arrest yesterday of four would-be jihadis before they could attack two synagogues in New York City brings to mind a long list of terrorist assaults in the United States by Muslims on Jews. These began in 1977 and have continued regularly since, as suggested by the following list of major incidents (ignoring lesser ones that did damage only to property, such a series of attacks on Chicago-area synagogues):

  • March 1977: Hanafi Muslims seized three buildings in Washington, including the headquarters of B’nai B’rith, and held hostages for 39 hours, leading to one death and one severe injury.

  • November 1990: El Sayyid Nosair assassinated Rabbi Meir Kahane in a New York hotel.

  • February 1993: Ramzi Yusuf, the mastermind of the bombing of the World Trade Centerin New York, which claimed 7 lives and injured more than a thousand people,, declared the towers not a civilian target but a military one, by virtue of the fact that it might house a “Zionist official.”

  • June 1993: “Boom! Broken windows. Jews in the street,” is how one of the plotters described the carnage that would ensue from a planned “day of terror” with simultaneous bombings of the United Nations complex, the Lincoln and Holland tunnels, and other New York landmarks.

  • March 1994: Rashid Baz, a Palestinian immigrant, opened fire on a van carrying Orthodox Jewish boys across the Brooklyn Bridge, killing 16-year-old Ari Halberstam.

  • July 1997: ‘Ali Hasan Abu Kamal, a 69-year-old Palestinian, shot seven tourists atop theEmpire State building, killing one and severely wounding another; in his suicide note, he accused the United States of using Israel as “an instrument” against the Palestinians.

  • July 1997: Ghazi Ibrahim Abu Maizar’s near-explosion of a pipe bomb in the New York City subway system.

  • July 2002: Hesham Mohamed Ali Hadayet’s attack on the El Al counter at Los Angeles International Airport, killing two.

  • September 2005: Jam’iyyat Ul-Islam Is-Saheeh plot against two Los Angeles-area synagogues, disrupted due to a dropped mobile phone.

  • July 2006 : Naveed Haq assaulted the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle, murdering one and injuring five.

  • May 2009: Four arrested in attempt to blow up two New York City synagogues.

Authorities say they have foiled many home-grown terrorism plots since Sept. 11, 2001:

  • MAY 2003: A naturalized U.S. citizen from Kashmir living in Columbus, Ohio, is accused of planning to destroy the Brooklyn Bridge, pleads guilty to supporting al-Qaida and is sentenced to 20 years in prison.
  • JUNE 2003: The FBI charges a group of men in Virginia with being part of a conspiracy to support holy war overseas. In all, 11 men eventually were convicted in what the government described as a “Virginia jihad network” that used paintball games as training.
  • AUGUST 2004: U.S. authorities announce evidence of a yearslong plot to attack financial institutions in New York, Washington and Newark, N.J. Eventually, five men plead guilty in London.
  • AUGUST 2004: Two men are arrested on the eve of the Republican National Convention in New York on suspicion of plotting to blow up a subway station. They are sentenced to prison.
  • AUGUST 2004: Authorities arrest two leaders of a mosque in Albany, N.Y., and charge them with aiding in a plot to buy a grenade launcher to assassinate a Pakistani diplomat. They are later convicted of counts relating to money laundering and conspiracy.
  • AUGUST 2005: Four California men, one the founder of a radical Islamic prison group, are accused of conspiring to attack Los Angeles-area military bases, synagogues and other targets. Three were convicted; one awaits trial.
  • FEBRUARY 2006: Three men are arrested in Toledo, Ohio, on suspicion of providing material support to terrorists. One is accused of downloading videos on the use of suicide-bomb vests.
  • APRIL 2006: Two Georgia men are accused of videotaping buildings in the Washington area, including the Capitol and the World Bank, and sending the video to a London extremist active on jihadist Web sites.
  • JUNE 2006: The FBI announces arrests in Miami and Atlanta in the early stages of a plot to destroy the Sears Tower in Chicago, FBI offices and other buildings. A federal jury convicted five men of plotting to join forces with al-Qaida. A sixth was acquitted.
  • JULY 2006: U.S. authorities announce the arrest of Assem Hammoud, a Lebanese man they claim was plotting to bomb New York City train tunnels to flood the financial district.
  • MAY 2007: Six men were arrested in a suspected plot to attack soldiers at Fort Dix in New Jersey. Five were convicted of conspiring to kill military personnel and four were sentenced to life in prison; another got 33 years.
  • JUNE 2007: Four Muslim men are accused of plotting to destroy New York’s Kennedy Airport, kill thousands of people and blow up a jet fuel artery. They have pleaded not guilty.
  • MAY 2009: Four men are charged in New York with plotting to attack synagogues and shoot down a military plane.

U.S.: Four Arrested In Synagogue Plot

U.S. agents have arrested four people who plotted to bomb a synagogue in the Riverdale section of the Bronx and to shoot down military jets with Stinger missiles, the U.S. Attorney’s office in Manhattan announced in a statement e-mailed May 20. Charges against the suspects include conspiracy to use weapons of mass destruction in the United States and conspiracy to use anti-aircraft missiles. One of the four suspects reportedly told an FBI informant that he had ties with Jaish-e-Muhammad, a jihadist group based in Pakistan.

Kudos to NBC for reporting that they’re Black Muslims, i.e., convict-converts.

WASHINGTON – Four men have been arrested in a plot to attack several targets in the New York City area, including synagogues, federal and local authorities told NBC News Wednesday.

Investigators say the four, described as Black Muslims from the Bronx, had planned to place bombs at various targets. But New York city police and federal agents got wind of the plot and kept the men under careful surveillance.

Two years ago, two Muslims pleaded guilty to plotting to attack synagogues in Los Angeles. But officials said that they knew of no connection between those arrests and this latest plot in New York.

New York Muslim Terror Cell Plotted to Blow Up Synagogue

The U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation has arrested four terrorists in New York City after they bought what they thought were explosives and a Stinger missile to be used to blow up two synagogues and shoot down a plane at a nearby National Guard base.

The four men are from New York City and bear American names but told authorities they are linked with terrorists in Afghanistan and Pakistan. The FBI is still investigating their backgrounds.

The cell had been under surveillance for a year and bought phony explosives from FBI agents, who also sold them a fake Stinger missile. The men planned to place the would-be bombs in front of the Riverdale Temple in the Bronx and under parked cars as well as blow up the Riverdale Jewish Center.

An informer from a mosque helped authorities track the cell, which was arrested after New York policemen blocked the terrorists’ black SUV parked outside the temple, broke in the windows and handcuffed the suspects.

The alleged ringleader was James Cromitie, who the New York Daily News reported is the son of an Afghan immigrant and has a criminal record. His three accomplices were jailhouse converts to Islam.

My favorite part is where he calls for stopping the attacks in Swat and Pakistan against Muslims who “just want to pray and worship” etc. when in fact they want to commit genocide against non Muslims in the area and enforce sharia law on all Muslims and non Muslims alike. Hell the vast majority of the refugees from the Taliban and Al Queda ARE Muslims who want nothing to do with them.

Headless bodies found as Pakistan continues Swat operation

Pakistani government troops secured footholds in the Taliban-controlled Swat Valley on Wednesday, discovering five headless corpses near the region’s main town.

Military officials said 11 militants were killed in the past 24 hours as commandos airlifted into the northeastern valley the day before took “firm hold’ in the remote Piochar area.

Troops were also consolidating their positions near a strategic bridge and a shrine in the valley, an army statement said.

Soldiers found the headless bodies near the town of Mingora, but no further information about the victims was provided. Local residents have said the Taliban uses the area as a dumping ground for decapitated victims.

Elsewhere in the turbulent northwest, police said dozens of assailants stormed a transport depot handling supplies for NATO troops in neighbouring Afghanistan and torched eight trucks before escaping.

Under strong U.S. pressure, Pakistani authorities abandoned peace talks last month with Taliban militants and launched a military operation to expel them from their stronghold in the Swat Valley.

The army claims it has killed more than 750 militants since the operation started.

Roughly 800,000 people have been forced from their homes in the violence, which has sparked concerns that more of Pakistan’s border regions are slipping from government control.

Tens of thousands of refugees have moved into camps run by the government and the United Nations. Others are living with relatives and friends.
