Islamistically-oriented perpetrators are apparently willing to acquire and employ larger quantities of chemicals. According to information received by Bild, this is what a risk analysis by the Federal Criminal Police Office and Interior Ministry says.

According to a report by Bild, the Federal Government and Federal Criminal Police (BKA) warn of the danger of possible terror attacks with chemicals.

This is what the paper reported on Tuesday, referring to a “risk analysis in Civil Protection” by the Federal Government. According to the study, perpetrators motivated by Islamism were ready and capable “of acquiring larger quantities of chemicals and employing these”, BKA writes in the paper, which was made available to the newspaper.

A chemical attack on the drinking water supply of apartment buildings is seen as a “realistic option”, or on foodstuffs. Also, possible attacks against facilities or transports for the chemical industry had “a high-risk potential”.

According to this government report, a “determined terrorist group, equipped with adequate knowledge, should be in the position to peruse the potential of hazardous chemical substances sufficient for their purposes for use in an attack in Germany.”

US/NATO BASE SEALED OFF by Turkish forces

TURKEY has sent police to surround the Incirlik air base it operates with the United States — and where a large stockpile of NATO nuclear weapons is held — ahead of a visit by a senior US official tomorrow.

Unconfirmed reports out of Turkey suggest all entrances to the air base have been blocked by heavy vehicles and police sent to secure its peremiter.

The unusual nigh-time move sparked rumours of a second coup attempt on Turkish social media, with concerned citizens rushing to the air base to join the blockade.

The move comes less than a week after a top US Army general was accused by Turkish media of ‘leading’ the uprising against President Recep Tayyip Erdogan earlier this month.

A few thoughts on events of the past few days

So two major events have taken place. Nice, obviously, and the failed Turkish coup, probably engineered by Gulen and therefore the possible outcomes were all bad. Gullen would be every bit as bad as Erdogan except possibly Gulen is a better salesman of Islamic norms so would be more effective than the current Turkish despot at spreading the disease which is Islam.

Nice of course was a prelude to a teddy bear picnic. Here in Ottawa, the French embassy had the flags of France and Europe at half mast and a few bored looking overpaid members of the Ministry of Truth were hanging around looking for a photo op with the embassy talking head.

The CBC of course is sending out the message that the best thing about the Attack was Muslims and the real victims of this attack are Muslims and that the really sad thing is that Muslims aren’t fully accepted in France and we should use this attack in Nice to focus on ponying up more rights and freedoms and customs and culture to make France more like Saudi Arabia.

The electricity was shut off and I believe there are access issues as well.

The basic plot is that a rogue Russian General during the cold war, had an idea. If he could sneak a nuke that had a basic design similar to a US made nuke into a US airbase in Berlin and detonate it, the American and Western leftists would demand unilateral disarmament and then the Russians could roll a few hundred thousand tanks into West Europe and take over under their own nuclear umbrella.

Well what if the Western-left, notices 80 Nuclear Weapons in a US airbase in unstable, coup-riddled, Islamic motivated Turkey. How hard would it be to get Obama to move all those weapons far far away from the Russian border?

Just thinking out loud. After all, Obama only has a few months left of his super-mandate as he explained it to Putin’s assistant, Medvedev back in 2012.

Thanks to the same fellow who was kind enough to translate Orban’s brilliant speech of the 15th of March into English, and subsequently into about 18 other languages from English, we now have a proper translation as well as an explanation of who the author is.

„Yesterday the trial of the “Röszke battle” culprits begun in Szeged City.

Since I am a police officer I am used to hearing lies, but this time I too, was flabbergasted.

The culprits claimed they had not known it was a crime to cross the border illegally. This is not very plausible, since it has serious consequences in all the countries of the world.

However, they were way too unabashed saying how they were misinterpreting their own efforts to knock down the border fence  – as if it had been opened for them by the authorities. What is more,  the Syrian man, accused of throwing stones, told the judge he had just wanted to ‘clean the road’, that is why he had been holding the stones. ’He had been ordered to do so by another man with a red megaphone.’ So they  did not even attack the policemen, they were only cleaning the border zone. He did not even understand why he was taken into custody. Of course, he accused the Hungarian police with assaulting him while being remanded in custody.

On one of the culprit’s clothing (pictures were also found showing him posing with weapons) gunpowder was found. It may have come from the police tear gas sprays as well. However, a granule containing uranium was found on his clothing, and there is no logical explanation for it. Normally, this ore may only come into contact with someone if they work in a nuclear power plant or nuclear laboratory, or perhaps, if one is a terrorist …” –  Georg Spöttle

„During the investigation experts examined his belongings – a physicist and a geologist analysed the particles found on his clothes. They found that the remaining gunpowder might have come from the tear gas grenade used by the police; but a particle containing uranium astonished them; as they wrote it ’it was not typical in Hungary’, they have not even encountered one in recent years.”

Man who claims to be former Islamic State fighter, says IS has 4 nuclear weapons in Western nations ready to detonate

Frankly, this is one of those stories which seems about equally irresponsible to present or hide either way. But as a 2011 documentary on A.Q. Khan made clear and showed with video footage, Osama Bin Laden did in fact seek, and was granted a fatwa saying that the us of nuclear weapons in jihad on the unbeliever was halal, (permitted) and even desirable. This was a 2006 release I believe called, ‘Nuclear Jihad’ and was made before the CVE kicked in and all links to jihad and, well’ jihad’ was blocked from the MSM.

It does however make one wonder if the story presented here is linked in any way to this Daily Mail item presented today here. 

Initially there was an article in German and a video with the article read out loud in German.

Really, I don’t know what to make of it other than if its a hoax its well done. Perhaps experts can comment on the types of nuclear weapons they name in the video and the likelihood of this being factual.

On the negative side, one imagines if the Islamic State/AlQuada/The Muslim Brotherhood had a nuke they would have used it an hour later in order to not risk being discovered and their expensive and difficult plans ruined and the discovery of a plan and a weapon like that would probably lead to a ‘backlash’ that even the worm-tongued Obama could prevent with all the CVE in his pen and phone.

Iranian journalist covering nuke talks defects to West

Amir Hossein Motaghi tells Iranian opposition TV that US is ‘mainly there to speak on Iran’s behalf with other P5+1 members

An Iranian journalist who was sent to cover the nuclear talks in Lausanne, Switzerland, defected over the weekend.

Amir Hossein Motaghi, who was instrumental in the election of President Hassan Rouhani when he served as his personal aide during the Iranian election, asked authorities in Switzerland to grant him political asylum.

RMontaghi told an Iranian opposition channel broadcasting from London that he did not see any sense in his profession as a journalist since he could only write what he was told to write.

According to the British Telegraph newspaper, Motaghi also harshly criticized the American role in the talks, saying the White House was attempting to persuade the other members of the P5+1 group of nations (US, England, France, Russia, China and Germany) to accept Iran’s point of view.

Radioactive Device Found in Car on Kings Highway in Fairfield

Police are investigating the discovery of a radioactive device in the trunk of a car on Kings Highway in Fairfield, according to Fairfield police spokesman Lt. James Perez.

Kings Highway was shut down in the area of Villa Avenue while police responded to the scene. The highway reopened around 3 p.m.

t’s not clear how it ended up in the car or how the people in the car got a hold of it. Perez said the company to which it belongs was called to the scene to retrieve the device.

Bibi got one thing wrong. It isn’t the development of ICBM’s isn’t the best evidence of the development of nuclear weapons, its the trigger mechanisms and facilities for carving high explosives for use on plutonium implosion devices. Iran has been exposed for having all of these and more and years and years ago. Even the Chinese bomb design they bought.

The Fiqh, being sharia law and its demands and justifications for various actions, is, as he claims, more dangerous than nuclear technology. He is correct. A nation without Fiqh and with nuclear weapons may posses them for decades and not use them even in self defense. Israel is a fantastic example of that as they never even moved towards the button in wars that could be called existential. But now imagine a nation with both. And then we know why the world must not be apathetic on the matter of the Iranian bomb.

Missing vials of SARS and potential use for it?

Several people have sent in multiple links about the 3300 odd missing vials of SARS virus from the Lois Pasteur research facility in France.

I haven’t posted them till now because a keen observer of events who reads Vlad from time to time reminded me of an interesting event that took place nearly a year ago to the week.

Now I am not saying that these events are connected in anyway. I am just wondering if people who had the kind of training that the people at the formerly-Ottawa research facility, now moved to the UK, would be able to take the fragments of SARS in those vials and make them an actual contagion again or otherwise a threat to the public. Just, you know, as a matter of interest.

Iran, the bomb and the deal. Part II

A reader was thoughtful enough to watch part 2 of the lecture of which I posted the first part yesterday. He points out that at about 23:45 of this part of the lecture he says what needs knowing and confirms some of my musings and thoughts on this matter. Specifically, once you reach 20% enrichment, you are 90% of the way to 90% enrichment as its a non linear process and once you get up to that concentration, 20%, getting the rest of the way to weapons grade is fast and easy. Thank you ML for finding this for us.

The Iran deal. A preliminary opinion.

So far, many pundits have looked at the US deal with Iran through the distillation process of their own areas of expertise. This may or may not be enlightening, depending on how relevant that expertise is and how much it factors in to the Iranian process.

Even so, some of the political pundits have weighed in rather brilliantly and I have posted some of those videos and articles here already. Andrew Bostom wrote on how the motives of the Islamic republic of Iran have been ignored by all. That the fanatical Jew-hatred and 12th imam ideology require the Iranian regime to start a world war to bring back the ‘boy in the well’,  and hatred of Jews requires them to make every effort to destroy an autonomous Jewish nation plumb in the middle of Dar-al-Islam.

The one area I wanted to familiarize myself with was the actual process. How does this deal impact the Iranian ability to produce nuclear weapons on schedule. I remember having watched a few times a series of videos on Youtube which was a lecture from a physics prof. at Cal Tech where the bomb was actually invented. It was very good and I downloaded them and stored them for future use but that was several moves ago and many more dead hard drives.

I wanted to watch the video below before I posted it to see if it was up to the standards of the lost ones and in some ways yes it is, and in others, not nearly as useful. But I do feel it is worth watching. Fortunately it is well explained enough that the visuals are not perfectly necessary so you can go about your day to day things while it plays in the background and you should be able to understand enough of it to make the call yourselves.

The things to keep in mind while watching this are:

1. Iran is working on both methods of making nuclear weapons at once. The uranium bomb and the plutonium bomb. So while everyone counts grams of U235 in the centrifuges, Iran may easily have enough plutonium for a production line now. As far as I know, the inspectors have never been allowed near those facilities.

2. Iran may choose to go forwards with less than weapons grade as they get the effect they want anyway with Hiroshima grade. Which is less enriched than modern optimal purity for weapons.

3. It seems that once you get to 20% enrichment that getting to a degree of enrichment of the U235 method is fast and easy. I believe that Iran already has a great deal of 20% enriched. If this is the case the US deal may actually facilitate the bomb process as the increased funds they will get from the eased sanctions should let them jump to the last stage of weapons materials quickly and with much less pain than during full sanctions.

If anyone is familiar with the physics of this, please feel free to comment under this post. I really do think that is the one area missing in terms of expert opinions with respect to the Iranian deal with the US.
