Seems we lost the cold war after all, and Russia certainly won it, as I doubt they would stoop to this level of Marxist political correctness.

Racism:

While people in different contexts can experience prejudice or discrimination, racism, in a North American context, is based on an ideology of the superiority of the white race over other racial groups. The result of institutional racism is that it maintains white privilege and power (such as racial profiling, hiring practices, history, and literature that centre on Western, European civilizations to the exclusion of other civilizations and communities). Chairman Meehan, distinguished members of the Subcommittee:

Thank you for the opportunity to appear before you today to discuss the Hezbollah terrorist organization, its capabilities, and its activities in the Western Hemisphere. It is an issue of critical importance to the ongoing struggle against international terrorism, and to the safety and security of the U.S. homeland.

A year after the 9/11 attacks, then-Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage, in contextualizing the terrorist threat facing the country, made a telling assessment. “Hezbollah may be the A-team of terrorists,” Mr. Armitage told an audience at the United States Institute of Peace in Washington, DC, “and maybe al-Qaida is actually the B-team.”[i] The description was apt, and remains so. With a presence in an estimated forty countries on five different continents, the Lebanese Shi’ite militia represents one of the very few terrorist groups active today that possess a truly global presence and reach.

This footprint extends not only to the greater Middle East and Europe, but to the Western Hemisphere as well.[ii] Over the past quarter-century, Hezbollah has devoted considerable energy and resources to establishing an extensive network of operations throughout the Americas. Today, its web of activity in our hemisphere stretches from Canada to Argentina, and encompasses a wide range of illicit activities and criminal enterprises, from drug trafficking to recruitment to fundraising and training.

British police — sarcastically described as the enforcement arm of the left-wing Guardian because of their zeal in prosecuting political incorrectness — have been accused of suppressing information about a wave of threats, abuse and violence in Islamicising areas of London, in particular the borough of Tower Hamlets.

Victims say police in the borough, fearing racism allegations, have ignored or downplayed cases where people — Muslim and non-Muslim alike — have been threatened or beaten for breaching “Islamic norms.” One such victim, Mohammed Monzur Rahman, was left partially blind after being beaten by a mob for smoking during Ramadan. According to a local anti-extremism campaigner, Rahman reported the incident to police, but was told they could not take action because there were no witnesses — absurd, considering that the street was lined with closed-circuit TV cameras and filled with people.

Already Muslim immigration, concentrated in “Londonistan” and other big-city areas, has reached a point where it is unsafe for Englishwomen to walk in many streets uncovered or for Jews to venture out wearing such identifying symbols as skull-caps. A video is being shown on the Internet of police apparently running in terror through the London streets from a mob bearing placards proclaiming BEHEAD THOSE WHO INSULT ISLAM and similar slogans. Even politically-liberal comedian John Cleese recently declared: “London is no longer an English city.”

The take-over of large inner-city areas by Islamic extremists, with the concomitant terrorisation of law-abiding Muslims as well as others, has come about as a result of the previous Labour Government’s “Open Door” policy. Like some other Labour policies, Open Door appears to have been predicated on the deliberate altering of voting demographics. It has succeeded perhaps beyond its architects’ wishes. Since Labour enacted the policy in 1997, more than 5.2?million immigrants have arrived in the United Kingdom. When the departures of those moving abroad are taken into account, Open Door has left the foreign-born population in the UK 3.2?million higher, in a country with a total population of only about 60 million. If even one in a hundred of those 3.2 million is an Islamic extremist, that would yield a total of 320,000 new radicals — several times the headcount of the entire British Army.

Britain has not seen an invasion like this since ancient times.

Blazing Cat fur: An important addition to the Mosqueteria story

Check this post out at Blazing. As usual, the MSM appears to be failing us when it is a story we actually need to know. When Muslims and the establishment conspire to profoundly violate our core principles, that is when you can count on them to bury it at least 6 feet deep.

One question though. I wonder how they proposed to find out which women/girls were on their menses? I know Muslims don’t like dogs.

Grace left a comment under the story about the Toronto public school that I thought was worthy of being a post on it’s own. However I think I could add a few questions of my own and will in the comments. Please feel free to add your own:

No group should expect to have their religious needs met in any public secular institution, especially schools. There is no other religion in Canada that demands so much from our secular institutions. No pork products in school cafeterias, halal cafeteria menus for all school children, female-only swim times in public pools, demands for special clothing requirements in gym, calls for exemptions from music classes, calls for segregated phys-ed, niqabis insisting that their male classmates either be removed from class or they turn their backs in their presence and now, the demand for separate prayer rooms in public schools outfitted with mats and Qur’ans.

I have a few questions. First of all, where do these Muslim kids wash before and after praying in the cafeteria? Is time set aside for that requirement with basins and towels provided along the same lunch counter that burgers and fries are dished out? Are teachers mandated to help shift around tables and chairs to make room on the floor when they resist staying after school hours to assist in extra-curricular sports/drama activities? Are boys only allowed to attend and if so, where do Muslim girls go to pray- are they relegated to the bathroom? Who has paid for the mats and Qura’ns? Were they purchased from the school budget while other designated ‘special’ activities are paid through fundraising? And what of the sanitation issue of kids walking around the cafeteria floor with their socks on? Students eat in this common room. Any parent whose had children knows well that even the cleanest of feet can exit sneakers smelling like a garbage dump, not to mention the fact that numerous arses have been uplifted toward mecca.

And what of the fact that praying can be done and is often done, without having to go to any special room? Surely some kid can say a few silent swipes of the Qur’an as he’s walking from one class to another.

If a room is to be designated for religious purposes, then I suggest one multi-faith room be open to all students on Fridays. Muslim, Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, Baha’i, Hindu, Sikh, Scientologist, Rastafarian, atheists, etc. could share the space. Of course, the Muslims would hate this, and no doubt would be highly offended that the infidels would be using their special place to carry on their wicked, idol worship. But if we’re to accommodate one, we’ll have to accommodate all, and if that’s unsuitable to them, they are free to stop using taxpayer funded public schools as makeshift mosques and fund their own schools.

UK: Mixed Messages on Radical Islam

In 1993, the murder of Stephen Lawrence, a young Black man of 19, led to wide sweeping reforms within Britain’s police authorities. Mr. Lawrence had been waiting for a bus, minding his own business, when he was attacked by several other young men in an unprovoked attack. Criminal and civil proceedings were brought against five men, but no one was ever convicted of the crime, largely because of shortcomings in the police’s response and subsequent investigation. The press was rightly enraged by the response of the police, and, perhaps, the complicity of some of the investigating officers in the case in obscuring the facts. The case remained a focus of national attention for some time, and resurfaced periodically over the next few years, with the center-Right Daily Mail referring to the formerly accused as “murderers” in one 1997 headline, and challenging them to sue the newspaper in response.

It was widely believed that the crime was motivated by racial hatred. In 1999, after a lengthy investigation into both the murder and the police’s response and subsequent investigations, the Stephen Lawrence Inquiry report was drafted. The inquiry confirmed that there had been serious failings in the police’s actions, and concluded that Britain’s police forces were, in effect, institutionally racist. Continue Reading →

Islamic Ritual Prayer Conducted At Toronto District School Board Middle School

Islamic prayer in public schools. Not just in England anymore.

I received this e-mail from Mark Harding. I phoned Valley Park Middle School, who in a panic directed me to call the TDSB directly @ 416-397-3000. The TDSB “Communications Dept.” is so far incommunicado -they are away at a meeting.

“Islamic ritual prayers are done in my 13 year old daughter’s middle school on every Friday.

Every Friday my daughter’s school cafeteria changes into a mosque as dozens of Muslim boys and their imams (Islamic preachers) lead Islamic ritual prayers and no one else can even walk through the cafeteria.

Some imams (Islamic preachers) come from the outside of the school and lead Muslim students in the Islamic prayer and this happens at the school Cafeteria after the lunch on Fridays. All other non-Muslims are in classes in the afternoon when they are using the cafeteria as mosque. There is a mosque nearby but the Muslim kids pray in the school

School administration take part preparing the Cafeteria and making it into mosque every Friday and no one but Muslims can use the Cafeteria during the Islamic prayers on Friday.

And there are a number of other incidents involving Islam and other anti-Christian issues that I complained about, including a white convert to Islam who was a supply teacher and who openly promoted Islam and bashed Christianity last year!”

“Mark, my other two kids also go to a different public primary school and the snack for all the kids in this primary school is all “Halal”. My wife complained about it and she was told she can prepare her own snack for our kids but the school would not drop the Halal menu for all the students. All the school kids in this primary school have to eat halal snacks whether they are Muslim or not”

Iranian Commander: ‘We Have Infiltrated America and the UK’

Britain, OIC agree to develop joint programs

RIYADH: The British government has appointed Mohammed Shokat as the UK special envoy to the 57-member Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) in a major bid to boost ties between the two.

The OIC and the UK have also announced plans to develop a joint framework of dialogue and cooperation in selected areas and evinced keen interest to hold regular consultations on issues of common concerns, said a British Embassy spokesman in Riyadh Sunday.

The move to promote relations with the OIC is significant for both sides as Islam is the second largest religion in Britain, with an estimated Muslim population of 2.5 million.

The UK is also a permanent member of the UN Security Council besides being a developed country and the world’s sixth largest economy. On the other hand, the OIC, the second largest inter-governmental organization after the UN, is the collective voice of the Muslim world.

A joint draft statement released by the British Embassy Sunday said Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, OIC secretary-general, held talks with British Prime Minister David Cameron and Foreign Minister William Hague that focused on promoting OIC-UK cooperation.

The OIC chief paid a five-day official visit to London last week on the invitation of Baroness Warsi, UK Cabinet minister without portfolio.

During the visit, Ihsanoglu was also received by Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams, Deputy Speaker of the House of Commons Nigel Evans, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State Alistair Burt, Minister of State for International Development Alan Duncan, UK Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan Mark Sedwill, as well as Shokat, said the statement.

Referring to Ihsanoglu’s talks with Cameron and Hague, the statement said a number of issues of mutual interest were discussed including the further development of OIC-UK relations and cooperation, including thorough regular consultation at various levels.

They also exchanged views on the Middle East peace process, developments in some countries in Northern Africa and the Middle East, such as Libya, Syria and Yemen and the situation in Afghanistan, the statement added.

The OIC chief welcomed Shokat’s appointment and expressed his support for him in consolidating the bilateral relationship.

Ihsanoglu met selected British Muslim personalities and exchanged views about their role and activities in society. He commended the valuable and successful work conducted by the British Muslim community and expressed his strong belief that members would set a good example for Muslims in the rest of Europe.

In addition, the OIC secretary-general got together with ambassadors of OIC member states based in London and met representatives of the Royal Institute of International Affairs, Chatham House, during his trip.

Both sides agreed to develop a joint framework of dialogue and cooperation between the OIC and the UK on selected areas including international political issues, development aid, humanitarian assistance, science and technology, interfaith dialogue and combating intolerance.
