Yesterday I posted a story as part of the links & News of the day, an item about universities in the UK and gender segregation at lectures.
I had another listen to it today and noticed what was said at just after the 50 second mark. (link should bring you right there.)
Did you hear that? The BBC reporter actually said:
“…the muslim right to segregate trumps women’s right to sit where they want”.
Get that?
The BBC reporter made the statement that there is such a thing as a ‘muslim right’, which of course there is not, and this fictitious right actually trumps the real right of women to choose where they want to sit.
For clarity’s sake there is no such thing as a collective right. If Jews for example want the right not to eat pork or work on Saturday, then they have the individual right to not order pork or cook it or eat it which may mean they have to change jobs etc. and they have the individual right not to work on Saturday, which again, may mean they may have to change jobs as some companies may be open Saturdays and it would be grossly unfair to non-Jewish employees to force them to work more saturdays to accommodate a Jew who chooses not to. However that Jewish person has the individual right to choose a job or career that doesn’t require working on the Jewish sabbath. He does not have the right to force others to not eat pork or work on Saturdays. These is because there is no collective ‘Jewish right’. Only how people make choices within the parameters of their own rights.
What this BBC reporter has said is tantamount to treason if such a thing was still a crime in the UK, as they are inventing laws which actually undermine the most fundamental in free societies. That of individual rights which cannot and must not be “trumped’ by imaginary collective rights to bully those who do not adhere to those religious principles.
Muslims have, and always have had in free societies, the right not to sit together. If some bearded clam and his burka clad slave want to attend a lecture together and sit apart they are already perfectly entitled to do so. But to force this on the rest of the population and claim it is a right? Well that would be like forcing non-Muslims to not have pork as a menu option in a publicly funded school because it offends muslims just to be near it. And that, we all know, could never happen. Right?
I wonder how Rosa Parks would do in today’s United Kingdom. I suspect I know.

This is the heart of multiculturalism, there’s no assimilation, just competition, and with Islam, eventual destruction of the host culture as the historical record shows. You only have to look at once Christian Egypt (and the Levant and Maghreb) to see how host cultures were obliterated.
Finnish Jews have lived in Finland for over 120 years as a thriving community, and yet not once have they ever demanded official religious paid holidays from the Finnish state, let alone exclusively for themselves. Islam does not aim to co-exist, but to rule (eventually).
NOTE: Anas Hajjar is the same imam who stated that non-Muslims cannot teach Muslims on religious issues in Finnish schools (religion is taught in Finnish public schools), and condemned Geert Wilders documentary Fitna as being provocative.

IltaSanomat: Kotimaa24 reported on Monday that the Finnish Muslims want four free days in connection to two important festivals.
The imam of the Islamic Society of Finland and the Finnish Islamic Council chairman Anas Hajjar hopes that this matter could be decided in order to be binding.
– The agreement should be permanent, in that it doesn’t in any way have to be decided on a yearly basis, Hajjar says to Kotimaa24.

The free days hoped for by the Muslims to celebrate would be a one-day celebration of the end of Ramadan (Eid al-Fitr) and the three-day pilgrimage related to the sacrifice celebration of (Eid al-Adha).
Hajjar says that these should be public holidays, but would apply only to Muslims.
Hajjar hopes that this matter could be done as with similar decisions for church holidays.
– We should find out if legislation is needed or that collective bargaining would suffice.
Church holidays during the week are done in accordance with church law.
Yesterday M sent in an article about how Salafists were planning to march for sharia and islamic rule within Tunisia, and many didn’t want them too, and banned the march and they, the salafists swore they would anyway. And they did.

Tunisian police have clashed with radical Islamists in a Tunis neighborhood, after Salafist movement Ansar al-Sharia told its followers to gather for its annual congress. The move defied a government ban.
Hundreds of Salafists erected barricades in the streets of Ettadhamen, a poor neighborhood on the western edge of Tunis on Sunday. The crowd threw rocks at police, who fired tear gas canisters at the demonstrators.
One protestor has been killed in the skirmishes, according to Tunisia’s state news agency. The AFP news agency has reported that 11 police and three protestors have been injured.
The area saw clashes last week between the Salafists and Tunisian security forces, as they moved to stop the extremists from setting up tents from which to preach and disseminate their ideas. Click for balance:

Question: If the British government allows this to take place, and even funds it through social programs and allows special rights, such as polygamy for the members of this cult as well as ignoring the conventional rules for immigration, then how is the British government not the enemy of the British people and for that matter, Western Civilization, every bit as much as this lot is?

Men and women of various ages marched through the streets of Male’ yesterday (April 19), calling for Islamic Sharia to be fully implemented in the Maldives.
Yesterday’s march, which organisers claimed had no political backing, was said to have been led by a group of young people calling for Sharia to be fully implemented to protect the Maldives from “calamities” that it is presently facing, according to local media.
However, one local religious NGO has argued that Maldivian society was not presently ready to undergo such radical reforms to the nation’s legal system, arguing that any changes would need to be made gradually over a long period of time.
Commencing yesterday at 4:30pm by the social centre in the capital, the pro-Sharia march concluded just before 6:00pm at the artificial beach area.
This can be expected where the number of Muslims rise to the point where they can enforce this on their own. We have already seen attempted assassinations in Sweden and Denmark and other nations where the hated unbeliever have dared not be submissive to the violent, thuggish and profoundly superstitious masses.
Soon, this will be everywhere. Sharia law does not need an act of parliament to become a fact. It simply needs to be the standard through which things are allowed, or individuals punish those who deviate from its demands. This being the case, it already is everywhere. The issue is degree and speed of delivery of sentence.
I am a disabled combat veteran. I served in Iraq and worked in Afghanistan. I took an IED because my country asked me too, and I was injured by a suicide bomber in Afghanistan. I fully expect to be treated differently when I am visiting another country – when I am in America I expect equality and toleration; but what I experienced today is something that I never would have thought I’d have to go through in my own country. I am a skydiver with around 300 jumps under my belt. I’ve done jumps from 30,000 feet, helicopters, hot air balloons, wingsuit skydives and so forth. So with that being said I travel around doing this sport quite a bit. Today was my second time at a dropzone called “Florida Skydiving Center / Skydive Lake Wales”.
Coincidentally there are soldiers from the country of Qatar being trained there.

It is always slightly amusing to hear Muslims claim to be victims of discrimination and in the same breath explain how they will destroy all of our systems and codes and subject us all to totalitarian Islamic supremacism.

An Iraqi immigrant who wrongly claimed £35,000 in benefits claims he did it in order to follow Islamic law.
Majid Hussain received income support, housing benefit and a council tax reduction for 13 years – despite having a secret bank account worth £36,000.
The unemployed 62-year-old signed forms saying he did not have any undeclared savings – and now says that under sharia law he did not consider the money to belong to him.
He even read out extracts from the Koran in court today to bolster his argument.
‘Cheat’: Majid Hussain has been accused of misleading welfare officers over a £36,000 bank account
Hussain, from Exeter, has not worked since he arrived in Britain as a mature student in 1986, funded by Saddam Hussein’s Iraqi government.
He said he was left thousands of pounds by his father to pay for his children’s education, and insisted he had a duty under Islamic law and his own culture not to spend the money himself.

CAIRO (AFP) – Egypt’s opposition cried fraud in Saturday’s first round of a divisive referendum on a new constitution, accusing President Mohamed Morsi’s Muslim Brotherhood of rigging votes to adopt the Islamist-backed text.
But the National Salvation Front opposition coalition did not immediately make good on a threat to call a boycott if it perceived violations, instead stepping up an appeal to Egypt’s 51 million voters to reject the draft charter.
The Front’s allegations, which included unsealed ballot envelopes and a judge preventing Christians from voting at one Cairo polling station, underlined the highly charged conditions in which the two-stage referendum was taking place.
Three weeks of anti-Morsi protests and clashes in Cairo last week that killed eight people and injured hundreds failed to prevent the referendum going ahead on the draft, largely shaped by Morsi’s Islamist allies.
To ensure security, some 120,000 troops were reinforcing 130,000 police.
Voting was being staggered across the country on Saturday and a week later because many judges were not willing to oversee polling.
