“I cannot sleep and whenever I shut my eyes, I see Anusha’s burnt face…”
Less than a week ago the life of Pakistani teen Anusha Akhtar was snuffed out.
The death of a child is always heart-wrenching, but when killed at the hands of her own parents, that makes the death horrific.
As previously reported by Examiner.com, Anusha’s father, Mohammed Zafar, and her mother, Zaheen Akhtar, were arrested for pouring acid on their daughter for reportedly “standing too close to a boy.”
To further enrage the parents, they later caught Anusha later “looking at two boys.”
Reportedly, her father beat her, then her mother assisted while the father poured acid on her for bringing dishonor on the family.
Only a day later did the parents take the child to a hospital where she eventually died of her acid-caused injuries.

Time and again that poster of the International Socialists floating into my memory. It was a call for a demonstration on May 11, 2002 by the platform “Nederland Bekent Kleur” [Netherlands Admits Color, which is now involved in the Wilders Trial] against Pim Fortuyn. Four days before the parliamentary elections the plan was that the International Socialists, the FNV [left-wing workers union], GreenLeft, the PvdA [Socialists] and other Left-wing groups in Rotterdam, would demonstrate in front of Fortuyn’s home with the slogan, “Give racism no vote”.
