The MTS [Montreal Transit Society] allocates a space for muslim prayers

MONTREAL: Pursuant to the request of ONE MUSLIM EMPLOYEE,  the Montreal Transit Society [MTS] approved allocation of a prayer space in its Youville maintenance workshop Department.

Since Wednesday, rumor has been spreading among the employees working in the subway repairs’ department, as confirmed by the STM Public Relations to Le Devoir newspaper.

Isabelle A. Tremblay – Corporate Advisor to the STM Public Affairs – stated in an email that regardless if the request was made by a religious Muslim, ” NO, this space is not dedicated to a specific religion”.

However, according to Luc St-Hilaire, President of the Montreal Transit Union, the public institution’s statement is contradictory.  “[The STM] says the space is open to everyone but should the request be made by a Québécois Catholic, it would first require an initial review.”

A request that would be granted?  “It’s a good question, but I was told that since no such request was made, they have no answer.”

In the same email, Mme Tremblay confirmed the STM position.  “The request would be studied according to the same criteria as those applied for requests already received.”

“For many years now, there have been individual requests for accommodations”, explains the Union representative, “and they’ve always been accepted.  But now, it is a new situation: there will be a dedicated space.”

The new space is located under a stairwell, 5′ wide by 25′ long, according to plans of the premises obtained by Le Devoir.  The space will accommodate ‘six people according to various times of the day’ and already has a basin for ritual cleansing.  Apparently “no additional costs were incurred by the STM except for the replacement of six neon tubes […] and the removal of a door lock”. Crosses not wanted on German cemetery during Muslim burials

Massive clashes between different cultures are a near daily occurrence in Germany as well as in Austria. However, conflicts between Christians and muslims cause increasing anger among the citizens and for quite a while they have not been willing to accept just about anything. Recently there was such a case in the German town of Offenbach near Frankfurt on the Main. After an agreement had been reached between the two cultures, the Muslims demanded still more and more.

Cemetary without Crosses. 

Dying is no-one’s favorite subject, except in the following case: A muslim community had asked for a special place on the cemetery of the hessian town, Seligenstadt on the Main. So far so good.  Such a place had been found for them. But now the (muslim) community demands that during a (muslim) burial, all Christian symbols be removed from the entire cemetery grounds. 

It had taken extensive negotiations to allow the Muslims their own ceremony. On this part of the cemetery, no coffins are to be put into the ground, but the corpses are to be wrapped in cloth, and laid out pointing towards East, ie Mecca. During this procedure, while Suras from the Koran will be read out, all crosses in the mourning hall are to be taken down or hidden away. These demands are made by Bashir Kumcu from the Ahmadiyya Community with the explanation: “We are also making adjustments by following the rules of the cemetery administration.

Nobody from this German town was willing to comment. However the tones one can hear from the town hall are clearer: “The Muslims can hold their funerals ceremonies somewhere else, where there are no Crosses”.

It was only a question of time before even a catholic priest like Ruedi Beck bends before islam and offers his house of God for their idolatry. The excuse came with the plan for the muslims to move from their Mescid-mosque in Basle.

The  Basler Zeitung  reports:

(…)“The doors to the Church of St. Joseph are always open to Muslims, says the catholic priest, Ruedi Beck. Since the number of practicing muslims in Basle is estimated at 3500, but the twelve (12 !) mosques in the district have only space for 2500 believers, which can lead to insufficient space during special celebrations. On such occasions, the Church of St. Joseph, like others helps:  “When space becomes too tight, we offer our help with pleasure”, says the Priest.

But for the muslims the catholic church St. Joseph is no permanent solution: “ From an Islamic point of view, nothing would be against it, but from a practical perspective a double usage  (by muslims and Catholics), would be difficult, because we muslim use these places for prayer from early morning until late at night”, says Serhad Karatekin from the  Basle Muslim-Commission  Because of the five prayer times per day, there would be no place for Christians’ Sunday Mass. “(…)

Of course, where there are muslims, Christians have always to stand back, even in their own houses. Where muslims pray, there is no more space for a Christian Church Service EVER. 

(…)Pfarrer Beck sees further problems, as he knows:  “in the Islamic faith, pictures of Saints are not allowed in the prayer room, but they are there in a Church. One can hide them behind cloth from time to time, but to do this every day would be to great an inconvenience for the muslim community”.

The floor too is not comfortable enough for the muslims who pray on their knees, “however” says Beck “ to roll out a carpet is only a small problem”. Despite all that, he would like the muslim community to get a place where they can practice their faith whenever and however they wish, without any constraints.

Many practicing  Christians in Basle made huge sacrifices to flee from the oppression in their countries to Switzerland. The fact that this oppression of Christian minorities was perpetrated often by muslim majorities could complicate the double use of the church (by Christians and muslims). “Of course” says the priest (Pfarrer Beck), some sensitivities might get hurt a little, but in principle, his community practices tolerance (…)

Well, of course, tolerance towards unrepentant assassins who massacre Christians exactly in the name of that Tin God they want to worship in their (the Christian) church – how sickening ! Where is the tolerance of the muslims towards Christians, where is the solidarity of the Priest with the world-wide persecuted Christians?

(…)” The president of the Synod, Walter Ziegler is surprised by this “double usage” (of the Church) because “this question should be before the Synod”. Yet such a request has never been sent to him. (…)

If this example sets a precedent, then very soon all Christian Churches with a lack of the faithful will be transferred to muslims. Then, the building of mosques is not necessary any longer, and there will be no more worries – poor Europa!

Bully family in Western Canadian town may well be Jewish

Frankly the principle is the same. The problem isn’t that it is Muslims per se, the problem is intimidating a community with its own culture and values in order to enforce your own. It is so often muslims that do this, and so often as part of an orchestrated effort to make Islamic values the dominant ones, that the assumption that it is muslims is nearly always correct.

In this instance it may not be.

It is highly unusual for Jewish people to object to pork or pigs etc. as while orthodox Jews may not eat porcine products as part of a kosher meal plan, they rarely if ever object to anyone else doing so. The diet, as I understand it in Jewish culture, is a personal thing. So it was a perfectly reasonable assumption that this family doing all the bullying was a Muslim family.

If I were to list the number of incidents in the past few days alone of muslims attempting to influence or reorganize the meal plan of public institutions in non-muslim countries it would take some time. But just an hour ago, I did post that muslim thugs had forced German butchers to remove cardboard pigs from inside their shops because the tard-thugs said it upset their delicate Islamic sensitivities to see an image of a pig even out of paper and within someone else’s private property. So once again, to assume that people acting this maliciously towards a community, and especially against a music teacher (as music is forbidden in islam) are muslim is not even slightly unreasonable.

But the solution should be the same. The problem, as I have already stated, is the actions, and the actions of this family are every bit as repugnant as had they been done by a Muslim family. The one saving grace is that it is an isolated incident and there is no overarching plan by the ‘Jewish Brotherhood’ to try and turn the whole world kosher. Thankfully. (Protocols of Zion conspiracy crazies not withstanding)

Too much Christmas in kindergarten class, says Jewish mom

A Shawnigan Lake mother has pulled her five-year-old boy from his kindergarten class at École Mill Bay because she says Christmas has gone beyond the annual concert and is saturating his lessons.

Mary Anne Watson’s family is Jewish and doesn’t celebrate Christmas. She had asked the Cowichan Valley school district to have the Jewish faith receive equal treatment at the French-immersion elementary school. Her request was refused.

“Nobody’s listening to us,” Watson said yesterday.

The good news is, at least then, that no one was listening to them. I only wish that Canadian institutions had the courage to also not listen to muslim thugs and bullies who are transforming Canada from a multilateral and tolerant place to one where sharia norms will take precedence as we see in the UK and elsewhere.

One lone family in Western Canada bullies school till music teacher quits and causes demonstration in response.

Once again, for reasons that are less puzzling than they should be, the identity and religion of this one lone family is being protected. Let me make this as clear as I possibly can.

If Jewish people started being beaten up and killed in Vancouver and in every case it was a Nazi doing it, not saying that the person who did it was a Nazi in order to protect the dignity of the Nazi party does not do anyone any good at all. This is a clear case of forced pretending. Insisting that a pretend version of Islam exists which much be protected from its practitioners.

This community has been emotionally bullied by one family, and the problem has escalated due to the School Board’s inability and refusal to deal with the problem.

The rally is also to support a teacher who has been harassed by the family and unjustly accused of racism on a Ministry of Education website. This teacher has not been able to return to work because of the unsafe situation.

The situation began 7 years ago at Ecole Mill Bay, with a family who had a kindergarten child.  Very soon the classroom teacher was accused of racism by the mother, for mentioning certain types of food and reading a story that mentioned pigs, […]

Above, the news story about it which was sanitized to near Orwellian proportions. The only hint was that they objected to Christmas and Easter and to mention of pigs etc.

As Jews have never objected to mentioning pigs nor have any basis in scripture for doing so, we can rule out a Jewish family with some degree of confidence. And for a few hundred other reasons as well.

I have been trying to follow the National Post stories on recent changes to various institutions to accommodate islamic demands to meet their religious ‘needs’. One of the stories is up to 1700 comments, a record in the experience of one seasoned Post commentator I know.

It occurs to me that as religion in a free country is 100% voluntary, that asking for others to accommodate your choices is akin to deciding to ride around in a wheelchair and then demanding that people make way for you, build ramps for you and subsidize your life because you are in a wheelchair. Of course, if a person actually did this they would be arrested for fraud and rightfully so.

But how is religious accommodation different? A person puts themselves at a disadvantage by their own choice. There is zero real world consequences to their deciding not to observe their religion, other than the reaction of their religious community. But observance in a free country is voluntary by definition of the very notion of a ‘free country’.

In fact, for religions other than Islam the entire point of making tough calls for your religious beliefs is specifically to build character by giving yourself hardships under some circumstances in order to keep yourself aware of things or humble yourself before your aspirations or deities etc. So to ask for people to make room for your choices in that case is actually a fraud against your own religion. interestingly its mostly only one religion that demands these accommodations and likely for political reasons, establishing its primacy, more than spiritual growth as one would normally make self limiting choices for religious purposes.

I would argue that islamic demands for accommodation for their purely voluntary religious ‘needs’ (desires in fact) is proof that it is not religious at all but one vector to political supremacy. It is a self proving behavior.

If you decide to peruse the comments on the National Post article about the Aikido class and the gender segregation they have now and the no need to bow to the founders, please read the comments by a former Muslim woman who taught Islamic studies for 14 years and is arguing with a Muslim who insults everyone else then accused the of Ad-hominem arguments. Search comments for ‘Saira’. She makes short shrift of the usual suspects in that comment thread. A sample below:

I was raised Muslim and this is completely untrue. Islam pretends to elevate women but in reality women are considered lower than men in everything. Men can marry multiple wives, they can beat them to discipline them, they can initiate divorce but women can’t. Women inherit 1/2 the property and their testimony is worth 1/2 of a man’s. Women are told to cover up because if they’re raped or harassed by men it’s their fault, not the man’s. Islam is a woman-hating cult. As a former Muslim, you can not fool me. You can lie to white non-Muslims, not to people like me.

Update on the Toronto Prof. who took a hit for us and for reason itself.

In the earlier post I linked to a National post article about a professor in Toronto who is in trouble for sticking to his guns and refusing to rejig an entire class or make special arrangements for one person who refuses to be in a room with women for religious reasons.

The National Post article is not accepting comments but the Globe and Mail article is as is the Toronto Star. This is an important issue and a chance for us to support reason and our own culture. Please go comment there. The story does beg the question, what would happen if women were to say, “We refuse to be in a room with muslim men because it is a clear and demonstrable threat to our safety”. I think we know. But it would be far more reason based a demand than a muslim’s to have a special accommodation because of ancient and irrational demands not to be near women, and which got a professor in trouble at his school.

The professor also asks a reasonable question. Would he be an accessory to sexism if he did accommodate the request? The answer of course is yes, if the request was made by a white Christian male even if the man had a denomination of Christianity which might expect this such as the Pennsylvania ‘Dutch’ perhaps or something similar.

Once again we see people using the notion that their personal beliefs, something we cannot even prove they have in any case, should limit other people’s choices as opposed to their own, the traditional case for people who wish to operate outside the cultural norm, and the consequent inversion of the notions of freedom and democracy that result.

This is an item that requires some action on our parts.

I have a couple of questions. What if a woman were to say that she refused to be in a room with muslim males because she felt it was a threat to her safety, which she could easily demonstrate to be true with rape statistics world wide and especially in the West. Would she be branded a racist and a bigot? Yet somehow if a person refuses to be in a room with women for irrational and superstitious reasons we all have to reduce our own freedoms to accommodate that and call it a progressive move.

My advice to women pregnant with a male muslim child is get a sex-selective abortion. That way the male muslim won’t have to endure being in a room with a woman for 9 months, you as a woman can assert your right to an abortion at any time for any reason and you can show you are a progressive and strong female with genuine tolerance for muslim beliefs.

A man in the UK speaks his mind about islam. Expect some prison time.

This story I think will be revealing of the new Kafka’esque UK than most similar stories in the past. In this video below, we do not know what his provocation was. All we know is, he had negative things to say about islam and affirmed his own Christian membership. For this, he is wanted by police, presumably for ‘racism’. What happens to him should be a klaxon to all free minded people in the UK. Is the government there your representative or your overt enemy, seeking to divide and conquer you on ideological grounds.

This bears close scrutiny.

Edmonton Alberta police force discriminate against everyone else by developing special muslim-compliant uniforms

At an Edmonton Police Commission meeting Thursday it was revealed that EPS is working on introducing a hijab option to the uniform.

But why stop there? I bet the Edmonton police could get way more gay recruits if they just adjusted the uniform a little:

Two events happened on Wednesday which should send a shiver down the spine of everyone concerned about the future of the American Jewish community. But to understand their importance it is important to consider the context in which they occurred.

On January 13, The New York Times reported on a series of virulently anti-Jewish comments Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi made in speeches given in 2010. Among other things, Morsi said, “We must never forget, brothers, to nurse our children and our grandchildren on hatred for them: for Zionists, for Jews.” He said that Egyptian children “must feed on hatred; hatred must continue. The hatred must go on for God and as a form of worshiping him.”

In another speech, he called Jews “bloodsuckers,” and “the descendants of apes and pigs.”

It was only two weeks ago when the Supreme Court of Canada declared the criticism of homosexuality to be a hate crime. It seems that in Toronto Islam is also under the same high protection. Today, at a protest somebody was arrested for mocking Islam.

As I wrote earlier, a protest event was scheduled for March 20 at the offices of the Liberal Party of Ontario. It was caused by the fact that the Minister of Labour of our ruling party, Yasir Naqvi, endorsed an Islamic book, which (in accordance with the Koran) recommended wife beating as a tool for solving family problems. Despite thepublic outrage, the Liberals chose to ignore the issue and turn a blind eye on Muslim misogyny.

The protest attracted a tiny group of participants carrying signs like:

“Beat wife only for honour & discipline, Holy Koran 4:34”

“Those that deny Islam will be killed, Holy Koran 33:16”

“Expose jihad with free speech or die”

However, what they lacked in numbers, they made up for with their creativity. Eric Brazau, who was one of the organizers, was dressed like an imam and accompanied by a woman in a full Muslim niqab.

Using a microphone, he gave a mock Muslim sermon, assisted by the veiled woman. He was “praising” Canada as a place, where you can beat your wife with impunity. Reading from sheets of paper, he also counted all the benefits you would get here if you are a religious fanatic. It was a satirical performance, which still focused the attention on the flaws of Islam.

Public lavatories to become “gender neutral”

Yes. I agree that we should ignore the 99.995% of the public’s culture, history, feelings, sense of propriety and modus operandi in order to slightly and nearly imperceptibly make the 00.005% of the population who might want this, and then again might not, feel ever so slightly better. (% by lowballing averages of people seeking ‘gender reassignment surgeries in Europe)

 A city council has scrapped male and female public lavatories in favour of “gender neutral” facilities so as not to alienate the transgender community.

The move was described as “political correctness gone barmy” by opponents who warned that the vast majority would prefer to use single sex loos.

Brighton and Hove City Council disclosed in emails that it wished to promote the term “gender neutral” and build facilities which are open to all, regardless if sex.

They believe such facilities will be more accessible for those who do not identify with the male-female binery.
