Washington, DC — Two weeks ago, I reported here that the Obama administration had dug itself into a minefield of lies about the Benghazi terrorist attack that the president would have to cross to get to Election Day. Whether he will do so unscathed remains unclear, but if Barack Obama is re-elected president on November 6, it will be for one reason only. It will be because the US media threw themselves on every Benghazi bombshell that threatened the president, shutting down democracy in the process.
Not all of the media, of course. Fox News, WND.com, Daily Beast, Reuters, CNN, CBS and others have reported most of the key facts now available. These include, first, the revelation that intelligence immediately indicated the US consulate in Benghazi was destroyed in a planned terrorist attack, not as the result of a “spontaneous” protest triggered by a Youtube video. The latter scenario, however, is the demonstrable lie the Obama administration, including President Obama, repeatedly told for weeks. Later, the State Department established the fact that no “protest” at all occurred before the attack. The Obama administration explanation for these and other discrepancies? “Bad intelligence” or “fog of war.” The major media largely agree, no questions asked. Literally.
This past week, a new set of factors emerged darkly underscoring the appearance of a White House cover-up. These include the publication of the email bulletins that alerted the highest administration officials that the US consulate in Benghazi was under terrorist attack. These emails began arriving in Washington within the first hour of what would stretch into an eight-hour battle. We also learned that the Americans under rocket and mortar fire in Libya repeatedly called for military support; that military support was within two hours’ flying time; and that no help was ever deployed. Four Americans, including the US Ambassador, were killed in the attack that left many others wounded.

Michael Mason’s 50-year teaching career ended on a sour note. Last fall, his history classes at Queen’s University were abruptly cancelled after he was accused of making racist and sexist comments in the classroom. He had used the terms “rag head,” “towel head,” “japs” and “little yellow sons of bitches.” A student complained that his “borderline racist comments” made her “very uncomfortable.” On top of that, one of his female teaching assistants complained because he’d told them they should become “mistresses.”
Dirty old creep? Not so fast. The subject of the course was imperialism and neo-colonialism at the time of the Second World War. Prof. Mason was using the offensive phrases to illustrate the attitudes of that era. They were direct quotes from contemporaneous documents – a context that was abundantly clear to nearly all of the 140 students who had flocked to his popular course.
As for “mistresses,” Prof. Mason had merely expressed the hope that his (mainly female) students would become masters and mistresses of the material by the end of the semester.
These nuances didn’t interest the administration, which quickly called him on the carpet. The department chair sent him a letter of reprimand, saying he had contravened the university’s equity policy. He was summoned to a meeting, where he was told he had failed to create a “safe space” for students. One of the administrators spoke of the need for “inclusivity” in the classroom. They told him that they had decided to open an investigation, and that he should stop teaching until it was completed.

A city hall request that the Israeli flag not be displayed at a street festival intended to promote diversity has Jewish community leaders wondering what “diversity” really means to some city leaders.
During planning meetings for September’s Smag Verden – Mangfoldighedsfest, a celebration of the foods and cultures of different countries, Jewish participants were warned that some would interpret the flying of the Israeli flag as a provocation.
“We were told that is was better if we did not fly our flag,” Malgorzata H Hansen, who represented local Jews at the meetings, told Berlingske newspaper.
Organizers said they feared clashes between Jewish, Muslim and leftist groups if the Israeli flag was displayed.

We have just heard that Tommy Robinson has been incarcerated in London’s Wandsworth Prison, sharing a cell with Muslims on a wing full of Muslims screaming death threats at him.
This is how the authorities react to those who try to warn Britain of the greatest threat to national peace and security since the Second World War.
The British Government is hereby forewarned that should any harm come to Tommy Robinson in prison, they will be held to account.
The Government has a duty of care to all prisoners, not to go out of their way to place them in potential danger for vindictive or political reasons.

News update: Following Saturday’s events we learn directly from Kevin Carroll that he has been bailed until 30th November, which means that his election campaign for Bedfordshire Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) is unaffected. In contradiction to earlier reports, we can confirm that Kevin was not among EDL supporters stopped by police on the M1, but was arrested later whilst driving to his home. The police have no evidence against Kevin Carroll because he has committed no crime; their action appears to be a clumsy effort to discredit him in the run-up to the PCC election on November 15th. Rumours of the arrest of British Freedom leader Paul Weston are also completely false.

STRATFOR, not as neutral as they claim.
I have been a subscriber to STRATFOR for a number of years now, and they make quite a fuss about their non-partizan policy and how they are a geopolitical intelligence forecaster with no judgement on events or groups.
You can imagine my disapointment when I read the following SITREP on today’s stunningly peaceful demonstration in France, were 100 people asked for a national referendum on mosque construction and Islamic immigration. Perfectly reasonable requests given the actions of religious Muslims in France, and the effect immigration is having on French culture. In fact, one could argue that immigration as Europe is doing it might contravene the UN definition of genocide via population replacement. Yet STRATFOR elected to go father than the French media even who referred to the protestors as, “Far-Right” and added ‘extremist’ to the description even though they committed no violence, did not incite violence and gave zero indication of any desire for vioelnce but merely for long-overdue democratic process and an enforcement of the French laws of secularism, ‘Laicite’.
Then, just a couple of hours after I received this one, another SITREP came in describing an attack by Boko Haram today in Nigeria where they murdered 23 people at minimum. Check out the description below:
Get it? A hundred French citizens peacefully demand their democratic rights as specified under French law and disperse without any objection and are “far right extremists”.
But a blood thirsty Islamic supremacists group that has mass murdered hundreds if not thousands of non-combatants especially Christians worshipping peacefully in their churches, are “Islamist Militants”.
I must go over my old articles and see if they refer to the shootings at Fort Hood as “work place violence” because from where I sit, STRATFOR has eaten the Obama pudding.

As precursors to my analysis, take note of the following inconsistencies and contradictions. First, Dr. Steve Metz, Professor at the U.S. Army War College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, in response to Sharia is coming, left this comment: “Should we worry about the creeping influence of the Boy Scout laws? More people follow that in the United States than sharia.” Note well. Steve is comparing Boy Scout law with Sharia law. This Boy Scout law – compared to this sharia law.
On the other hand, because of political correctness, in the Spring of this year, US Army Lieutenant Colonel Matthew Dooley was condemned by the Joints Chiefs of Staff (JCS) and relieved of teaching duties at Joint Forces Staff College for teaching a course judged to be offensive to Islam. The course he taught, Perspectives on Islam and Islamic Radicalism, was an elective course that Lt. Col. Dooley’s superiors judged as presenting Islam in a negative way. His superiors were persuaded to come to this conclusion after receiving an October 2011 letter in which 57 Muslim organizations claimed to be offended by the course. The fact that Lt. Col. Dooley is a highly decorated combat veteran with nearly 20 years of service under his belt apparently held little or no sway with the JCS. As a matter of fact, JCS Chairman General Martin Dempsey “personally attacked” Lt. Col. Dooley on C-Span on May 10, 2012, during a Pentagon News Conference.

NON-FREEDOM OF SPEECH, UPDATED: Apparently, Janne Josefsson’s documentary about Lars Vilks and his speech in the USA about his [personal] experience with the islamic threat against freedom of speech was becoming too much for SVT’s management, steered by V and MP [Moderata Samingspartiet, . Now, they have removed the video from SVT Play [SVT’s web tv].
Little doubt, the reason for it is that they were bombarded with complaints by the cultural leftists’ islam huggers, who are outraged over the fact that the video was too objective and contained to little bias and guideposts. Equally doubtless that Sweden’s moslems have made themselves heard, reporting how aggrieved they became that parts of Vilks’ speech were shown, and that his rondellhund cartoons could be seen for a short moment. In a communiqué at SVT’s forum, the company’s politbureau replies to a direct question, stating that the video has been removed, and that they have the intention to publish a new (read: censured) version later.
Unfortunately, we the editors did not anticipate this measure, something we of course should have done, knowing what type of company SVT is. We have therefore not saved the original. If any of our viewers have been more anticipating and saved the video, or know if it has been saved somewhere, then we are obviously grateful for tips about it. SVT Play / Uppdrag granskning
