“A lay Muslim politician caused a stir this week by suggesting Muslims wear a five-pointed green star to protest against what he called persecution recalling that of wartime Jews forced by the Nazis to wear a yellow Star of David.”

Weighing in on an issue that is tearing apart President Nicolas Sarkozy’s ruling UMP party, the Conference of French Religious Leaders said the discussion about respect for France’s secular system could only spread confusion at a turbulent time.

The UMP plans to hold a public forum on secularism next week that critics decry as veiled Muslim-bashing to win back voters who defected to the far-right National Front at local polls last week and could thwart Sarkozy’s reelection hopes in 2012.

Sarkozy’s allies are split over the populist strategy, with moderates such as Prime Minister Francois Fillon publicly opposing what they see as the UMP’s drift to the far right.

Stressing that faith should foster social harmony, the religous leaders said the debate could “cloud this perspective and incite confusion that can only be prejudicial.”

“This fascist climate evokes the sombre history of the Occupation in France, which sent thousands of Jews by train to the death camps,” he said in a statement on Tuesday.

Richard Prasquier, head of the Jewish umbrella group CRIF, called the green star idea “totally grotesque.”

Abderrahmane Dahmane, who was fired as Sarkozy’s advisor for diversity issues this month after criticising the UMP debate, also criticised Cope for suggesting Muslims should no longer pray in Arabic — the language of the Koran — in their mosques.

Time to Unmask Muhammad

By Geert Wilders

To know why Islam is a mortal danger one must not only consider the Koran but also the character of Muhammad, who conceived the Koran and the entirety of Islam.

The Koran is not just a book. Muslims believe that Allah himself wrote it and that it was dictated to Muhammad in the original version, the Umm al-Kitab, which is kept on a table in heaven. Consequently one cannot argue with the contents. Who would dare to disagree with what Allah himself has written? This explains much of Muhammadan behaviour, from the violence of jihad to the hatred and persecution of Jews, Christians and other non-Muslims and apostates. What we in the West regard as abnormal, is perfectly normal for Islam.

A second insuperable problem with Islam is the figure of Muhammad. He is not just anyone. He is al-insan al-kamil, the perfect man. To become a Muslim one must pronounce the Shahada (the Muslim creed). By pronouncing the Shahada one testifies that there is no god that can be worshipped except Allah, and one testifies that Muhammad is his servant and messenger.

The Koran, and hence Allah, lays down that Muhammad’s life must be imitated. The consequences of this are horrendous and can be witnessed on a daily basis.

There has been much analysis of Muhammad’s mental sanity. In spite of all the available research, it is rarely mentioned or debated. It is a taboo to discuss the true nature of the man whom one and a half billion Muslims around the world regard as a holy prophet and example to be followed. That taboo must be breached in the West, and here in the Netherlands.

Ali Sina is an Iranian ex-Muslim who established the organisation for apostates of Islam Faith Freedom International. In his latest book he posits that Muhammad is a narcissist, a paedophile, a mass murderer, a terrorist, a misogynist, a lecher, a cult leader, a madman, a rapist, a torturer, an assassin and a looter (*). Sina has offered 50,000 dollars for the one who can prove otherwise. Nobody has claimed the reward as yet. And no wonder, as the description is based on the Islamic texts themselves, such as the hadiths, the descriptions of Muhammad’s life from testimonies of contemporaries.

The historical Muhammad was the savage leader of a gang of robbers from Medina. Without scruples they looted, raped and murdered. The sources describe orgies of savagery where hundreds of people’s throats were cut, hands and feet chopped off, eyes cut out, entire tribes massacred. An example is the extinction of the jewish Kurayza tribe in Medina in 627. One of those who chopped off their heads was Muhammad. The women and children were sold as slaves. Confronted with the lunacy of Islamic terrorists today, it is not hard to find out where the lunacy comes from.

In Vienna the women’s rights activist Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff was recently sentenced to paying a fine for insulting a religion by calling Muhammad a paedophile. However, that is the truth. (TT: The Austrian press claimed ESW labeled Mohamed as a pedophile, but the transcript proves she did not) Numerous hadiths contain testimonies by Muhammad’s favourite wife, the child wife Aisha. Aisha literally says: “The prophet married me when I was six years old, and had intercourse with me when I was nine.”

Bat Ye’or: The Brotherhood wants to Islamize modernity, not to modernize Islam

Bat Ye’or, thank you for letting  Document.no. interview you.  There has recently been a revolution in your native country, Egypt. Everybody was apparently surprised by the fall of Mubarak’s regime. Were you surprised too?

Yes, of course.

Few commentators seem to have any clear idea of where the road leads to for Egypt. The subsequent future events compared with both the Berlin Wall in 1989 and the revolution in Iran in 1979. Where do you think the country is heading now?

We are on the way to the end, I fear, for the Muslim Brotherhood is the only well-organized and structured movement with clear objectives and an international power base. It also seems that it has almost unlimited access to financing. I am of the opinion that any comparison with Western revolution is meaningless, because we are dealing with a Shariah society that works within a political view of reality that rejects the foundation of our own. I have also noticed with great sadness  that the attacks and murders of Copts have increased.

Foreign Correspondents in Egypt say that the protesters’ anger was a cry for justice, and they recognized that there was something genuinely positive in the uprising. But the most cautious would add that this is not something upon which to build a community, given that it is easier to unite against someone than it is to find the way forward together. Can all this youthful energy have some positive impact, or is it disorganized?

I agree with the correspondent’s point of view. But democracy, freedom, jobs and justice can only be developed if you develop the right institutions and have a grasp of the economy. Egypt is a poor country with more than 80 million inhabitants, of whom a large percentage are illiterate who can not cope with the  challenges of the 21st century. I do not doubt the abilities of the academic and educated elite, but the social problems are so huge. The general trend towards a more traditionally religious society based on the Koran will also not contribute to modernization.

Do  the Egyptian masses want democracy in any meaningful sense of the word, or do they lack a clear understanding of what it is all about?

They surely want democracy, but when you listen to what they have to say, it seems  they think there is something tangible that they can grasp and carry, and not an abstract idea that needs time and requires effort from the entire nation to be accomplished. Democracy is not just majority rule. It involves a political independent judiciary, equal rights for all – including non-Muslims and non-Arab minorities such as Kurds, Assyrians and Berbers – and freedom of expression and acceptance of pluralism and criticism. But all this is forbidden both in Sharia law and in the Cairo Declaration of 1990 on human rights in Islam. In order to achieve democracy, one must first eliminate the Sharia.

Professor Bernard Lewis says that there is something in the Muslim tradition that is vaguely reminiscent of democracy; in other words these consultative groups consisting of key people, clan leaders etc. Is such a corporate model, the best you could hope for?

Such meetings, in which unelected tribal leaders make decisions, have nothing whatsoever to do with a modern democracy as we know it.

ANTIFA, WHAT’S NOT TO LOATHE ABOUT THESE TOTALITARIANS AND THEIR FALSE HIDEOUS IDEOLOGY…….?

Fjordman sends the TT the following article by Michael C. Tuggle abut the Antifa, a collection of Communists, Anarchists and Socialists in general who have embarked upon a holy crusade, as they see it, against anything resembling patriotic nationalism. They have a very limited world view, and for the most part unwilling, or worse yet, unable to spell out their ideology for fear of having to defend it.

Simply put, they can’t really define themselves other than being against “racism” and “fascists” and they’ll leave it at that. The  Antifa ideology is both totalitarian and utopian, which means that they believe that they do not have to tolerate dissenting views or other opinions, and truly believe that they themselves are the vanguards of the perfect society.

In short, they’re statists, and while their views are at odds with those of the real racial supremacists (only the white ones of course, fundamuslims, La Raza and Black Panther groups, all racists in their own right are tolerated) they exhibit the same knuckle dragging qualities as their opposition, the socialist ultra-nationalists, the Nazi lovers and Fascists. Brute, mind numbing force.

These people, like the fringe KKK and other racist groups just mentioned, need to be opposed, infiltrated by the police and exposed for who they are….and jailed. Most importantly though, the media needs to get off its dead ass and actually report on who these thugs really are, a collection of commies, anarchists, socialists, nihilist statist, thugs. They are not a group worth lionizing, quite the contrary, then need marginalizing, and fast.

The Antifa Fad: Totalitarian Anti-Fascism

[…] I had interviewed Michael Behrle minutes earlier, having spotted his anti-Nazi arm patch. Twenty-two, white, with reddish-brown hair and a short beard, Behrle heads the Charlotte, North Carolina branch of Anti-Racist Action. He’s a barista who enters latte art competitions. I asked him why he’d come.

“We’re here to show Jared Taylor we’re not going to allow him to take away our rights.”

“But Taylor’s group just makes speeches about immigration.”

“Anarchist and communist intellectuals preached that violence in a holy cause was an act of purification and renewal.”

Behrle’s jaw clenched. “That’s because they’re white supremacists. They want to bring back segregation, and that’s simply not going to happen. Our action here will show other fascists they’re not welcome in Charlotte.”

Fascists? I wanted to probe more, but he shook his head and turned back toward the other protesters, his eyes fixed on me as he walked away.

For Michael Behrle and many others like him, those are the battle lines in post-Cold War, multicultural America: on one side, fascists, and opposing them, the antifa. The word “antifa” comes from Antifaschismus, the German term for anti-fascism. Dressed in their preferred street garb of black clothes, boots, balaclavas, and anti-Nazi patches are young people, almost all white, driven by an ideology as powerful and magnetic as communism. French philosopher Alain Finkielkraut has warned, “I think that the lofty idea of ‘the war on racism’ is gradually turning into a hideously false ideology. And this anti-racism will be for the 21st century what communism was for the 20th century: a source of violence.”

What’s frightening is that antifa believe conservatives, immigration-control activists, and Tea Party protesters are clandestine fascists. Behrle’s group, Anti-Racist Action, makes this explicit on its website:

“The National Socialist Movement and similar open fascist forces are seeking greater political legitimacy. They want greater influence within larger white nationalist and reactionary social and political forces, such as the anti-immigrant movement, the ‘tea-baggers,’ and the re-emerging militia movement.”

Antifa activists do not debate their enemies; after all, their enemies are fascists and thus have no legitimacy. Their goal is to confront and silence them. From the Anti-Racist Action website:

“If you can get away it [sic], carry weapons, or if there’s a chance you might get searched by cops, carry items that can be used as weapons in a pinch (hefty flagpoles, thick placard sticks, batteries, maglights, bike locks).…And don’t forget your masks—nothing makes the fascists tremble like a group of black-clad, balaclava-wearing Antifa bearing down on them.”

Many antifa identify themselves as anarchists and communists. Both earlier movements secularized Christianity’s message that a chosen few will guide the world away from evil and toward the good, which today’s antifa warriors envision as a raceless, classless, unified world. But to get there, the old constraints must be broken. Anarchist and communist intellectuals preached that violence in a holy cause was an act of purification and renewal. Prince Kropotkin, who never harmed a fly or a single detested royal in his life, once wrote, “A single deed is better propaganda than a thousand pamphlets.”

Or as Daryle Lamont Jenkins put it, “If someone wants to be involved with OPP, they have to remember that it isn’t about putting out propaganda.”

NORWEGIAN SICK OF BEING A MINORITY IN HIS OWN CITY, DECIDES TO LEAVE FOR ELSEWHERE

Aftonposten: He has made up his mind. After having lived in Groruddalen Oslo his whole life, recent years’ developments have scared Patrick Aserud away. In the summer he will be moving with his wife and kindergarten-age daughter away from Furuseth and out of town.

He moves from a local community he believes is about to crack under the weight of failed integration.

Disturbing stories

– It’s been hard to be ethnic Norwegian in Groruddalen. It’s about massive language problems, as well as a pressure to adapt to the norms that feels totally alien to us who have a Western way of life and thinking.

– There are nursery schools where almost no children or parents are speaking Norwegian, and schools where children are being threatened with a beating for bring a packed lunch of salami.

– Girls are bullied for being blonde, dark hair and colors to fit into. It is not okay to be gay at school, not an atheist and certainly not a Jew. Especially the last three years have been frightening to see and hear about what’s happening, “said Åserud.

A majority of parents need an interpreter

He has resigned from his job in the kindergarten. It is not least during 15 years as a pedagog in schools and kindergarten he has noticed an increasingly skewed porportion (imbalance) between ethnic Norwegians and minorities.

– We needed interpreters for 10 out of 18 parent-teacher meetings. How then can we possibly create a good environment and make sure there is good cooperation between schools and homes, Aserud asks rhetorically.

Thousands have gone from the valley

He feels that it is he and his family who must be integrated as a minority in their own country.

– I have been positive and optimistic in the past. But there is a limit when it gets a majority who do not speak Norwegian well. We are many who feel this strongly, regardless of skin color. An Indian family knows I expected to live as Muslims because they are brown in the skin.

– Many people will probably think that you are sensitive and out of step with the new Norway?

– If so, there are very many who are sensitive. Ranking is that people move here. They do so because of the concrete experiences they have had, “Åserud.

Figures from Statistics Norway support the claim. There are now 3000 fewer ethnic Norwegians Groruddalen than just two years ago. Depopulation occurs faster than before, but over time the figures speak clearly: Groruddalen has lost 20,000 ethnic Norwegians in the last 15 years, despite population growth. Ethnic Norwegian-share has dropped from 82 to 56 percent in 15 years.

Fears Malmo-states

And this year is Åserud part of the statistics. He takes the family to Hamar.

– We have no connection there, but we could not afford the house on Høybråten, Røa or other places where we do not feel strange at nærsenteret says Åserud.

He’s not a good recipe on how development can be reversed.

– It’s hard to say. I fear Rosengård-states (charged to the suburbs in Malmo, journ.anm). There fired shots in the street on average once every week. I want the best for the city, but I do not feel I can carry the integration on my shoulders, “said Åserud.

Pakistan takes up Florida Quran desecration with UN

United Nations, Mar 23(ANI): Pakistan has taken up the “despicable act” of desecration of the Holy Quran in Florida with the United Nations, and urged it to take urgent steps to promote inter-faith harmony in the wake of increasing acts of Islamophobia.

In a letter to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative Ambassador Abdullah Hussain Haroon voiced his country’s strong condemnation of the burning of the Islamic holy book, and expressed “profound regret and deep concern” at the growing trend of Islamophobia, intolerance and hatred towards Muslims as well as insults to their religious symbols and personalities.

Controversial American pastor Terry Jones, who last year cancelled a plan to burn copies of the Koran to mark the anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks on the United States after international condemnation, oversaw the burning of a copy of the Quran at his small Florida church on Sunday after the Islamic revered book was put on trial.

“While this reprehensible act is the work of extremists and is evidently designed to provoke dissent and discord among communities and peoples across the world, such sacrilegious acts also go against the very concept of inter-faith harmony and threaten the multicultural fabric of the societies and the brotherhood of the United Nations,” The Nation quoted Haroon’s letter, as saying.

SYRIA: SIX DEAD AS PROTESTS SPREAD AND THREATEN THE SHI’AH ALAWITE LED REGIME

Six Protesters Killed in Syria

DAMASCUS, Syria — At least six people were killed early Wednesday when Syrian security forces attacked protesters who had taken refuge in a mosque in the center of the southern city of Dara’a, news agencies reported.

At the same time, Syrian state television described a very different scene on Wednesday, showing footage of guns, grenades and ammunition that it said was taken from inside the mosque. The television report acknowledged four dead, but claimed they had been killed when “an armed gang” attacked an ambulance, The Associated Press reported.

Why the accounts of violence and of the number killed differed was not immediately known.

On Tuesday, antigovernment protests had continued for a fifth day in Dara’a, before hundreds of demonstrators sought protection from the army in the Omari mosque. The protesters were calling for political freedoms and an end to corruption, and they had said they would remain in the mosque until their demands were met, Reuters reported.

Norwegian lawmaker: Shoah never happened

Anders Mathisen of Labor Party asked to resign after reportedly saying, ‘There is no evidence the gas chambers or mass graves existed’

Norwegian Labor Party lawmaker Anders Mathisen isn’t very popular right now — members of his own party are calling for his resignation after MatHisen reportedly told the Finnmarken newspaper that the Holocaust never happened.

“There is no evidence the gas chambers or mass graves existed,” he told the newspaper, according to reports. “Even reputable Holocaust historians have admitted it cannot be established.”

Mathisen reportedly has accused Holocaust survivors of exaggerating their stories, stating that the public has been brainwashed into believing the Holocaust took place because of films such as “Schindler’s List”, according to the forum.

The lawmaker, who also posted his findings on his Facebook page, has refused to resign from the party.

“Holocaust survivors are aghast at the morally repugnant comments of a Norwegian member of Parliament,” Elan Steinberg, vice president of the American Gathering of Holocaust Survivors and their Descendants, said in a statement in which he called for Mathison’s expulsion from office.

INTERVIEW WITH IDF PARAMEDIC WHO RESPONDED TO THE ITAMAR MASSACRE

Folks, this interview reveals a truly sad, heartbreaking story of unspeakable inhumanity, but it also has another side, one of humanity, and of kindness and professionalism of an Israeli IDF paramedic who places his core value system at the very heart of what he does for a living. Sargent Edi Itelman also represents the professionalism and humanitarianism that is embedded within the DNA of the Israeli Defense Forces itself, something that the sergeant takes great pride in being a part of.

It was very difficult to listen to the sergeant’s step by step accounting of what he saw and experienced that night in the Itamar settlement, inside the Fogel household. The sight of the butchery is still fresh in many people’s minds, and of course, especially for those people who had to attend the scene personally.

Paramedic Sergeant, Edi Itelman, first responder to the house of the Fogel family in the Itamar settlement located in Judea, in the disputed territories. This is his personal account of what he saw and experienced that late Friday-early Saturday morning in the Itamar settlement.

I am a paramedic for the army, I serve in a special unit called the Military Mobile Intensive Care Unit. My ambulance is located approximately ten minutes from Itamar. From Friday night to Saturday approximately 1am (01:00) Israeli time I get a call that said that there’s been a terrorist penetration in Itamar and that I should go there because there is some wounded in Itamar, that there was a terrorist attack happening at the moment.

So I and another medic, the driver, go with the ambulance to Itamar. When we reach the house, of course we weren’t sure if the terrorists were still in the house or not when we got to the scene. There may be a situation where the terrorist is still in the house waiting for us to come in, so he could hurt us as well.

Libyan suicide pilot may have killed Gaddafi’s son Khamis

There were reports emerging last night that one of Colonel Muammar Gaddafi’s sons had been killed during an air strike on Libyan capital Tripoli.

According to Arab newspapers, the dictator’s sixth son, Khamis, was killed when a Libyan suicide pilot deliberately crashed his jet into Gaddafi’s Bab al-Azizia compound on Saturday.

The Arabian Business News website claimed Khamis died from his burns later in a Tripoli hospital.

However, the reports have been denied by the Libyan government.
