What a shame that no one thought to honour kill this terrorist while he disguised himself as a Muslim women. I mean, if he wants the advantages of anonymity in Islamic society then shouldn’t he also have the risks?

A British terror suspect linked to 7/7 bombs widow Samantha Lewthwaite was arrested in Kenya while dressed as a woman, a court heard.
Jermaine Grant, 29, from London, had allegedly disguised himself by wearing a Muslim burqa when he was held in 2008 as he travelled on a bus in northern Kenya.
A court in Nairobi heard the suspected bomb plotter was accused of being part of a gang which attacked a police station on May 31 2008 in the town of Wajir.

He said: ‘I closely looked at his head and realized he was a man and not a woman.
‘I asked him to identify himself by showing his identity card but he could not respond since he didn’t speak or understand Swahili.’
The court heard Grant was unarmed when he was arrested on the bus just hours after the remote police camp was attacked in the northern town.
The British Muslim convert, who has been linked by police to a terror plot involving ‘White Widow’ Lewthwaite, was held alongside two other suspects.
The trio were suspected of violently attacking the police base to steal firearms and a vehicle.
The court heard Grant was held in custody following his arrest at the Dadajabula police camp in Wajir but escaped just hours later after suspected al-Shabaab militants attacked the building.

The court heard this morning that he had been charged with violent robbery and escaping justice over the 2008 incident.
Grant, who has already been sentenced to a year in prison for entering Kenya illegally, was led into the Nairobi courtroom in handcuffs.
He then appeared relaxed as he stood in the dock, wearing a red and blue striped T-shirt.
Speaking afterwards his lawyer Mbugua Mureithi said he denied the charges against him.

NOTE: The farcical Finnish state tun media (YLE) is spin mode as usual, “12 Palestinian fighters died friday evening in Gaza”. They choose for political reasons to label these Arabs simply as “fighters”, though they are involved in launching discriminate rocket fire against civilian population centers (read=terrorism), it’s a war crime. Finland’s YLE simply cannot be considered an impartial news organization.

The IAF struck six targets in Gaza overnight Friday in response to a number of rocket attacks from the Strip earlier in the day that left at least eight people injured.
Palestinian terrorists fired approximately 40 rockets from Gaza into southern Israel on Friday night after an air strike killed the secretary general of the Popular Resistance Committees, Zuhair Qaisi.
In the latest round of air strikes, launched after darkness fell, eight more Gaza terrorists were killed, Hamas officials in Gaza said.
The IDF Spokesman’s Office said that the Air Force recorded direct hits.
In the Eshkol Regional Council a 40-year-old man was seriously injured, a second man was moderately injured by shrapnel in his stomach and a third was lightly injured. Paramedics said the injured appear to be foreign workers. An electric pole and a vehicle were also damaged in the attack.
The barrage of rockets followed an IAF air strike that killed the secretary general of the Popular Resistance Committees, Zuhair Qaisi.
Since the initial air strike, the IAF continued operations over Gazan skies to track down rocket launching crews, and struck two cells making final preparations to fire high-trajectory rockets into Israel. One of the terror cells was in central Gaza and the other in northern Gaza. The IDF confirmed hits on its targets.

Magen David Adom paramedics said late Friday night that a total of eight people had been injured by rocket and mortal shell fire from Gaza. A former teaching assistant has been jailed for five years and three months for donating £9,000 to fund terrorism in Somalia.
Shabaaz Hussain, 28, gave the money in 2010 to three of his friends who left the UK to allegedly become involved in terrorism in the east African country.
Extremist material was also found in his flat in Stepney, east London.
Evidence was gathered against Hussain when police secretly recorded conversations he had in his car.
Passing sentence at Woolwich Crown Court the judge, Mr Justice Calvert-Smith, said: “These were, as you realised, substantial sums for people living, most likely, in basic conditions in countries like Somalia and Kenya.
“You certainly realised, in my judgment, that some of it would be used either directly or indirectly to help to resource acts of terrorism.”
‘Somali Three’
Hussain confessed to seven counts of fundraising for terrorists.
In total he donated £9,114 which went to Muhammed Jahangir, Tufual Ahmed, and Mohammed Shahim, known as “The Somali Three”.
At a previous hearing, prosecutor Sarah Whitehouse described Hussain’s home as “practically dripping” with extremist material.
The hoard included 26 speeches by extremist preacher Abu Hamza, the court heard.

NEW DELHI – Police on Wednesday said they arrested an Indian journalist in connection with last month’s bomb attack on an Israeli diplomatic vehicle in New Delhi, their first arrest in an attack that Israel accuses Iran of orchestrating.
Police arrested Syed Mohammed Kazmi on Tuesday after investigations showed he had been in touch with a suspect they believe may have stuck a magnetic bomb on an Israeli diplomat’s car, police spokesman Rajan Bhagat said.
Police said they searched Kazmi’s house over the past two days to gather evidence of his link to the Feb. 13 attack, which wounded the diplomat’s wife, her driver and two other people in a nearby car. Police did not say what evidence they found.
Kazmi, 50, was being questioned and was scheduled to appear in court Wednesday before being handed over to officials of the investigating agencies for further questioning, Bhagat said. It was not immediately clear which news organizations Kazmi has worked for.

New arrest in the terrorism case
HS: Finland’s first counter-terrorism investigations have been made yet another arrest. Police have arrested one person in the morning the metropolitan area, who is a Finnish national and an ethnic Somali.
In addition, the Central Criminal Police and Security Police have made home searches and seizures related to the case.
There are now six people people suspected of a crime, one of whom is in custody. Police estimate that the pre-trial of the case will last for months yet.
UPDATE: YLE, the Finnish state broadcaster is stating that :
Related to the same case, is the continued imprisonment of one person. He has been imprisoned since the early autumn of 2011. He is also an ethnic Somali. In total there are six suspects, including two on a travel ban. […] Two of the suspected can be reached abroad, and one can not be found.
NOTE: This is an example of the mainstream media not being able to report a story correctly. The say in both article that 6 people in all, are suspected of involvement, though they speak of seven individuals.
– 2 are in fact in custody
– 2 are on a travel ban
– 2 are abroad and 1 can not be reached.
That adds up to seven in my thinking.

This is the first photograph of the fugitive terrorist Kenyan police suspect is using the identity of 7/7 widow Samantha Lewthwaite.
The image was taken by an undercover officer as the woman crossed the border from Tanzania with her three children using a forged passport.
Anti-terror police have launched a huge hunt for the mother of three, who they believe was a ‘key financier and bomb-making tutor’ for the Somalian Al Qaeda affiliate Al Shabaab.
Officers on the case have found a devastating arsenal of bomb-making equipment which they suspect was for a planned attack on Western tourist targets in the coastal city of Mombasa.
They discovered batteries, hydrogen peroxide and other chemical ingredients during a raid on one of several Mombasa houses where they believe the woman had stayed until she disappeared in December.
The raid followed a tip-off that Al Shabaab was planning to blow up hotels and shopping centres over Christmas and New Year.
The suspect fled with her three children following the arrest of her co-conspirators, Briton Jermaine Grant and Kenyan Foaud Abubakar.
The house was also used as an impromptu bank where police say the suspect would dole out dollar bills to Al Shabaab recruits – funded by ransom money handed to pirates targeting ships off the Horn of Africa.
Shown photographs of Home Counties mother Lewthwaite, Muslim leaders from the mosque closest to the building said it bore a resemblance to a white woman who had been praying there.

Man shot dead by police in Culcheth, Cheshire
The scene of the shooting in CulchethA man has been shot dead after a car was stopped by armed police officers in Cheshire during “a planned operation”.
The shooting happened at about 19:20 GMT on Saturday as armed officers from Greater Manchester Police (GMP) stopped a car in Culcheth.
GMP Deputy Chief Constable Ian Hopkins said officers performed first aid on the man but he died at the scene.
The dead man’s next of kin have been informed. Two other men were arrested.
Witness Jessica Brown, 15, said: “I saw loads of police cars driving past and I saw three men run past the pizza place with gasmasks on and guns and police chasing them.
“Then my friend’s dad came and picked us up and said it wasn’t safe to be out here.

The widow of one of the July 7 bombers is being sought for questioning by Kenyan authorities about a suspected terror plot.
They are hunting a female suspect who escaped when police swooped on part of a cell planning a terror attack in the coastal city of Mombasa over Christmas.
Anti-terrorist officers in Nairobi are investigating the possibility that Samantha Lewthwaite, 28, may have been part of the cell.
She was married to Jermaine Lindsay who killed 26 of the 52 people killed in 2005 when he detonated a bomb on a tube train at Kings Cross.
Last night Kenyan police said the suspect had been using a number of identities, one of which could be that of the British Muslim convert Miss Lewthwaite.
They say they cannot confirm the woman they are searching for is Miss Lewthwaite until she is captured.
It is possible her identity could have been stolen by the suspect being hunted.
Erick Kiraithe, a Kenyan police spokesman, told the Times: ‘We know quite a bit about her now.
‘She has had three identities in the past and that [Samantha Lewthwaite] is one possible identity.’
Police were close to capturing their suspect earlier this year, but she managed to flee the gang’s hideout before officers arrived.
She had been carrying a British passport bearing the name Natalie Faye Webb, a woman apparently born in South Africa. But it was later established the passport was a fake.

Somali terrorists warn of reprisals on British streets

Islamist fighters in Somalia last night warned of deadly reprisals on Britain’s streets if the West mounted military action in the war-torn east African state.
As a conference on Somalia’s future closed in London, the country’s President appealed for bombing raids on the positions of al-Shabaab, which recently merged with al-Qa’ida. Sheikh Sharif Sheikh Ahmed said he would welcome air strikes against the “menace” of the insurgents, warning: “This isn’t a Somali problem, it has to be addressed globally.”
David Cameron left open the option of authorising action against al-Shabaab, which controls much of Somalia, but he made clear his preference for a lasting political settlement.
Last night the spokesman for the Islamist group, Sheikh Ali Dhere, warned it could launch terror attacks in the West if countries such as Britain and the US intervened in Somalia. “Your peace depends upon us being left alone,” he told Channel 4 News. “If you do not let us live in peace, you will not enjoy peace either.”
Al Shabaab was not invited to yesterday’s conference, but Mr Cameron insisted its fighters could be brought into the tentative political process if they laid down their weapons and genuinely renounced violence.

The leaders of the Islamic regime have long prepared for a confrontation with the United States. Now, with tensions over Iran’s nuclear program, U.S. Navy assets taking position in the Persian Gulf, Israel threatening strikes against Iranian nuclear sites and the decision by the regime in Tehran to pursue its goal of obtaining nuclear weapons, the Iranians are making it clear to America that U.S. military bases around the world and sites inside the U.S. will be attacked if Iranian nuclear facilities are attacked.
In a recent Friday prayers sermon in Tehran, the Iranian supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, promised that if America attacked Iran, Iran would respond by causing 10 times as much destruction to America as it had caused to Iran. Others in the regime have been more specific.

Chemicals including ammonium nitrate, acetone and lead nitrate were found in the one-bedroom apartment Grant had rented in a rundown suburb of Mombasa, the largest city on Kenya’s coast.
