A suburb of Nairobi known as “Little Mogadishu” has been hit by a suspected terrorist attack, which has left at least six people dead and many more injured.
Several victims of the attack have been taken to Kenyatta National Hospital, according to local police.

As the possibility–however remote–grows that Malaysia Airlines flight 370 may have been hijacked and taken to a hidden location, Israeli authorities are preparing for the possibility that the hijackers might attempt to use the Boeing 777 to mount an attack.
According to the Times of Israel, Israel’s Channel 2 has revealed that Israeli air defenses have been boosted, and approaching civilian aircraft will be asked to identify themselves far earlier.
Though the flight was presumed at first to have crashed, whole or in pieces, into the ocean, passive satellite transmissions from the aircraft suggest that it made a deliberate course change and may have headed north into central Asia.

Three blasts hit Cairo on Friday, targeting police HQ, a metro station and a police station. They apparent string of militant attacks claimed at least five people and injured scores of others.
The latest explosion was reported near a police station in the suburbs of the Egyptian capital. The explosion, in the west Cairo Talebiya district on the main road leading to the Giza pyramids, caused no fatalities.

A couple of days ago, we posted a story about a muslim who somehow accidentally got himself over a high fence and three layers of barbed wire in the middle of the night and then in the dead of a New Jersey winter, naked into a narrow drain in a security water treatment plant. The media as assured us all that he was likely just trying to get away from some bacon bits a racist left near a mosque door in a neighboring state and Mr. Mohamed is the real victim in all this. (Seriously the news really did say he was the victim!)
It has been noted that this past summer, 7 religious muslims all well schooled in biochemistry and related fields were also arrested for being in a secured area of Boston’s largest water supply reservoir. No further information has been released on these people, why they were there, what they were doing etc.

The bodies of three men and explosive material were found Thursday in a vehicle in Maryinskaya in Stavropol province, Russia’s Investigative Committee said on its website.
A day earlier, a vehicle containing a body exploded in Tambukan, in the same province, as police approached it, and two other bodies were found in other vehicles in Zolskaya Wednesday, the Investigative Committee said.
