As the possibility–however remote–grows that Malaysia Airlines flight 370 may have been hijacked and taken to a hidden location, Israeli authorities are preparing for the possibility that the hijackers might attempt to use the Boeing 777 to mount an attack.
According to the Times of Israel, Israel’s Channel 2 has revealed that Israeli air defenses have been boosted, and approaching civilian aircraft will be asked to identify themselves far earlier.
Though the flight was presumed at first to have crashed, whole or in pieces, into the ocean, passive satellite transmissions from the aircraft suggest that it made a deliberate course change and may have headed north into central Asia.
Prudent to be cautious.

First things first……
“Hideously annoying auto-start video removed”…..this had me rolling on the floor pissing my pants…….thanks Vlad for a good start to the day.
Secondly, I am not impressed with the state of aircraft tracking these days, is it really this poor?, that an aircraft can simply disappear off the radar but not have crashed.
That it can or did or could, then fly around for up to 7 hours undetected by any radar in any one of the 50 countries it was or could have been flying near?. w
What was the aircraft involved in and did it have an anti-radar cloaking device?.
Now there exists the possibility that the aircraft will be able to fly, totally undetected to Israel or to Israeli property/interests and detonate.
I think we’re a little off the mark here.
Witness Russian aircraft that intrude on Canadian airspace as we are scrambling our fighter jet response before they ever hit the North Pole. (there have been a couple of exceptions, embarrassing exceptions)
In the end, regardless of what emerges from this, consider the fear level across the world. Muslims are simply wetting themselves in uproarious laughter knowing how “terrified” we’ve become.
Their little program of Grand Jihad is working beyond their wildest dreams.

Looks like someone has been reading WEB Griffin, that was the scenario used in “By Order of the President” published in 2005, as with all of his books it is a very well thought out plot.
One Green Beret Colonel I see at the VA says he can’t read Griffin’s modern books since they are too close to the reality he lived for so long.
