Reader’s Links for Oct. 30, 2026

Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

For those interested, please check out https://vladtepesblog.substack.com/ as an another avenue of expression. The Substack is a different project in a sense. It is older videos that in the light of subsequent events, look different or of increased importance, Check it out now and again if you like. But use it safely.

ADDENDUM:

This site operates more at the philosophical level of the communist/Islamic revolution which is obliterating Western Civilization. Politics, culture, law are all down stream from philosophy. Understanding the philosophy of the attack is to understand what is an attack and develop tactics, both individually and collectively against them. The attack comes entirely (so far) in the form of Dialectics. To understand dialectics, watch and read everything you can by Maj. (Ret.) Stephen Coughlin.

Here is a repost of the simplest explanation, or at least the shortest one, we have been able to think of so far (Placed here by request)

We as humans communicate mostly via conventions. In other words, we decide what a word means by what we, as a culture want it to mean, then fix the term as a convention via a dictionary

or other means so we can express what we want to each other and be understood. It’s a group process more or less but based on what we want expressions, words, concepts and taxonomy to mean.

Dialectics is the imposition of meaning on existing terms for a political outcome which is destructive to what we all consider meaning. It is a complete hijacking of Meaning.

This also applies to taxonomy. The most underrated aspect of epistemology. Of how we see ourselves. Of how we understand the world, via categories. Via labels.

Dialectical taxonomy is what forces us to change everything we think about sexuality and accept political sexuality such as the Trans-movement.

Or somehow convincing everyone that the German National Socialist Worker’s Party is somehow “far right wing”, which may be the most masterful dialectical con of the 20th century.

This deserves a proper essay. But I just want to get the thought out there.

Imposing, forcing meaning on us. Changing terms to mean what a group of tyrants what us to think they mean as opposed to what they do mean and more or less always have meant.

Making words mean something other than what we meant them to mean, then banning or criminalizing them because of their imputed meaning, even though they were good, useful terms that helped hold our culture together.

Attacking us for using perfectly good words with important meanings, then telling us what we meant by what we said, then cancelling us for it in the pre-revolutionary stage, and now in the UK outright arrest you now that the revolution is all but complete.

That is dialectics.

  1. A weaker USD will allow the U.S. government to pay down debt and repatriate manufacturing. PT has said this publicly.

The danger to engineering a lower USD is in dealing with a touchy global market. Move too quickly and you lose control, move too slowly and you don’t meet your objectives. Bond vigilantes, forever scouting for weakness, will shed U.S. T-bills even faster if real interest rates are proven negative.

Standing in the wings, watching the drama take place, is gold. The director of this play doesn’t want to give gold too many lines lest it outshines the star, the USD. Yet, gold stands quietly knowing it cannot be dismissed because it has always been there. It can be maligned, manipulated and marginalized by Keynes, who now faints his great last stand beneath the hot stage lights. “To be or not to be…,” he emotes.

The applause by the audience is deafening. Theater reviewers trip over their accolades of Keynes’ great performance. Keynes catches in his teeth a rose thrown from the seats. More cheers.

Gold watches as Keynes finally approaches, exiting stage left. Inches beyond the bright lights Keynes collapses into gold’s arms. “I, I gave it my all,” he says as if exhaling his last worldly breath, ever the thespian.
“I know,” says gold, comforting him.
    “I am dying,” says Keynes.
    “I know,” says gold.
“Are you ready to stand in?” Keynes asks.
“I am, but the audience is not,” gold whispers softly. “We both shall know when our time has come.”
“When will that be?” Keynes asks weakly, like a child, eyes widening in a glimmer of rare sincerity.
“When the deception has run out of tricks.”

    THREAD:
1/ War is inevitable. It was always inevitable. And war is coming. And it won’t be just a regional war because the Islamists who are waging it won’t keep it regional.

It doesn’t matter who would replace Benjamin Netanyahu as Prime Minister of Israel if someone did. It doesn’t matter if America surrenders entirely and gives the Islamic regime every single one of their demands. It doesn’t matter if the European countries remove all sanctions. And it doesn’t even matter if tomorrow Israel handed the Arabs a Palestinian state on the 1967 lines. None of the above existed in 1966.

    ……
Mor Edge has worked in some really high position in the UK – something to do intelligence, I think. His family is being victimized these days, so they’re moving to isreal in a few months.

Brian of London made the same jump years ago. Much of his heart remains in Perfidious Albion. Exile isn’t easy, though Brian preens for his UK readers about enjoying a better quality of life in the Holy Land.

  3. The war of words
Hamas, not Israel, is the real genocidal force.
    …
This past Shabbat, I read Isaiah 54:17 from the Haftorah: “No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from me, declares the Lord.”

I couldn’t help but reflect on the verse’s meaning. Isaiah seemed to be talking about our times. A time when Iron Dome miraculously intercepted weapons fashioned against us, and a war of words was declared against us, in which we will eventually be vindicated.

So, basically, 500 million Europeans expect 300 million Americans to protect them from 120 million Russians who can’t even defeat 40 million Ukrainians while those 500 million Europeans don’t even realize they are being conquered by 2 billion Muslims who claim they are being persecuted by 8 million Israelis. Is that about right?
