If I was to take this person’s testimony as gospel, I would say that the Black Panthers are not communist and want to better the lives of black Americans in a very classical sense. Education, income, security and so on. This would mean they are 180 degrees away from Black Lives Matters, who want an end to free market economies and the destruction of classical civilization altogether.
But people who know these groups better than I will straighten me out I am certain in the comments.

If I am understanding this correctly, we have here splendid evidence of the current administration, Donald Trump’s, commitment to originalist and libertarian values for the USA. This, again to the extent that I understand this story, is stunningly good.

I did follow it closely at the time, but I suspect that this is more meaningful to Americans who also followed a number of other FBI events where they appeared to breach constitutional rights and kill people. Ruby Ridge, and the David Koresh compound if memory serves me at all well.

East Boston Explosion Leaves 1 In Critical Condition, Police Say
An explosion at a triple-decker home in East Boston early Sunday morning left a man with second-degree burns in critical condition, police said.
The man is considered a person of interest in the incident and is in critical, but stable condition, according to Boston police.
Commissioner William Evans said police found weapons inside the second floor of the 88 Webster St. home, where they responded at about 12:40 a.m. The blast created a hole in the floor and the walls have been blown out.
