China Uncensored now also grey listed by Youtube
These guys are very good on all things China. Videos are very worth watching for those interested in the disposition and inner workings and geopolitics of China. It is as shocking in the same way that it is sticking that Youtube shadow banned Dennis Prager because his video on the 10 commandments mentions the word “murder”, that they also shadow ban China uncensored. To borrow a stylistic device of CU, that would be, shocking if you assume that Google and Youtube acts in accordance with the values and sense of fairness and reasonableness that they say they do, and that we want to believe they do.
Once you understand their real ethic and values, they become very predictable and the fact that CU is shadow banned becomes sort of satisfying to your understanding while nauseating as proof that Alphabet/Google/Youtube is in fact so evil, that at least, is a miniature spark of last-gasp integrity, they recently dropped their slogan of,”Don’t be evil”.
Mob with oddly uniform sticks attack protestors in Hong Kong
English:
(Some of the most violent protestors, firing rocks and lasers into government buildings, are dressed a lot like ANTIFA. Black block get up, masks and all. But of course they cannot be ANTIFA because in this case, they are actually fighting fascists. If ANTIFA was indeed in Hong Kong, they would be fighting for the Chinese government.)

Major wireless outage disrupts Canadian cellular services
Canadian wireless networks have been hit by major outages that started Sunday and are still resulting in dropped calls and other voice network problems across the country.
Rogers said on its website on Sunday “some customers may be intermittently experiencing dropped calls or are unable to place or receive calls on their mobile phone or wireless home phone service. We are working diligently to restore services as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.”
Text messages, internet and data services have been operational, but voice services have been impacted intermittently.
Rogers says its system was mostly restored on Sunday evening, but problems are persisting into Monday on a limited basis.
“Voice services are restoring with a very limited number of customers experiencing intermittent interruption to voice calls,” Rogers spokesperson Michelle Kelly told CBC News on Monday. “Teams are working hard to fully resolve the issue and we sincerely apologize to our customers.”
The outage affected 911 calls, with some emergency responders reporting dropped calls and an inability to get through.
Police advised people to use another service to call 911 in case of an emergency. Rogers told CBC News in a statement that 911 access had returned to all customers, as of Sunday evening.

NSA Arabist, Barry Webb, on China’s New Silk Road
A great tribute to Western Freedoms
This item is for sale at local pharmacies and probably across Canada and maybe even the US. It is, as you guessed, made in China:
I would like to quote a friend of ours now on this:
“…because it would be totally acceptable for Chinese pharmacies to sell toys shaped like their leadership made in the US
this says more about western freedoms than anything else, i love it”
Truer words..
Of course, we never did see a squeezable head of Obama or even Trudeau as richly deserving of it as they are. Still, this is likely Chinese propaganda.

China: 6 killed in knife attack in Changsha town
Six persons were stabbed to death and the fleeing assailant shot dead by the police in a deadly knife attack in the central Chinese town of Changsha on Friday morning.
State media said that a dispute between two Uyghur vendors led to a slashing spree in a busy market in the central Chinese city of Changsha.
It led to one of the persons involved in the fight randomly stabbing passers-by, spreading panic and chaos in the area.
“A knife fight broke out between businessmen Hebir Turdi and Memet Abla at around 10.15am at Shahuqiao Market in northern Changsha City, the provincial capital,” the official news agency Xinhua said in a report on Friday evening.
Abla was hacked to death by Turdi, who later stabbed 4 passersby as he ran away. Police shot Turdi, killing him, the Xinhua report said.
Two of the passersby died at the scene. Two others died in hospital.
While the 2 involved in the fight are evidently Muslim Uyghurs, authorities did not identify the remaining victims. Hindustan times:
