But as the kingdom negotiates a call fraught with political and economic risks in a tinderbox region, time is running out to organise logistics for one of the world’s largest mass gatherings.

 

A full-scale hajj, which last year drew about 2.5 million pilgrims, appears increasingly unlikely after authorities advised Muslims in late March to defer preparations due to the fast-spreading disease.

 

“It’s a toss-up between holding a nominal hajj and scrapping it entirely,” a South Asian official in contact with Saudi hajj authorities told AFP.

Despite Trudeau assuring the Indian prime minister that he would vote in favour of their country having a seat at the table, the support doesn’t seem to be reciprocated.

Indian government officials explained to the Hindustan Times that Trudeau did not have a basic understanding of international diplomacy: “reciprocal arrangements [were] in place with Ireland and Norway even before Canada entered the UNSC race.”

5. Norway suspends virus-tracing app after privacy concerns

Norway’s health authorities said on Monday they had suspended an app designed to help trace the spread of the new coronavirus after the national data protection agency said it was too invasive of privacy.

 

Launched in April, the smartphone app Smittestopp (“Infection stop”) was set up to collect movement data to help authorities trace the spread of COVID-19, and inform users if they had been exposed to someone carrying the novel coronavirus.
   
On Friday, the data agency, Datatilsynet, issued a warning that it would stop the Norwegian Institute of Public Health from handling data collected via Smittestopp.
   
Datatilsynet said the limited spread of coronavirus in Norway, as well the app’s limited effectiveness due to the small number of people actually using it, meant the invasion of privacy resulting from its use was disproportionate.

Justice for the victims of Anti-White Racism

This Saturday, June 13, Génération Identitaire invited itself to the demonstration of Assa Traoré, Place de la République in Paris, to denounce the explosion of anti-white racism.

The young Identity Generation displayed a large banner on the facade of a building with the message: “Justice for the victims of anti-white racism – #WhiteLivesMatter”.

The death of George Floyd in the United States led to an unprecedented wave of violence on the fringes of the Black Lives Matter movement.

In France, the “Justice for Adama” committee, named after the delinquent Adama Traoré, who died in 2016 during an arrest, is taking advantage of this phenomenon to accuse the police and, through them, our country and its institutions, of racism.

The committee goes so far as to demand that all “gendarmes and police officers put one knee to the ground with their fists raised. ” (sic)

Génération Identitaire denounces the astonishing submission of the government, which refuses to prosecute the organizers of the demonstrations for Traoré, despite the demonstrations being prohibited and the announced excesses.

Génération Identitaire demands from Christophe Castaner, (Interior Minister in the Macron Government and increasingly unpopular among the French Police) the immediate abandonment of all persecution against his own police officers, such as the presumption of racism and the suppression of the stranglehold lock.

Génération Identitaire demands justice for the victims of true racism, the one that hurts, rapes and kills: anti-white racism, the one that affects French people of European descent, the historical people of our country.

Finally, Génération Identitaire warns all enemies of France: we will never get down on one knee!

The inhabitants of the floor below the banner of the GI (generation identitaire)…took to scissors and cut up the banner from below. They (the destroyers) got loudly applauded by the mob of protesters.

I have meanwhile also seen MSM reports (including here on State Media SBS in Australia), who totally misreportet and called the Generation Identitaire “extreme right” etc. The usual attacks and slanders.

French police have had two demonstrations already against the same minister, Christophe Castaner, that Gen Ident spoke against, where the police threw their handcuffs on the floor.

Truck Drivers Say They Won’t Deliver To Cities with Defunded Police Departments

As cities across the country are discussing defunding or disbanding their police departments, truck drivers are voicing concerns of safety. Seventy-seven percent of truck drivers say they will refuse to deliver freight to cities with defunded police departments.

 

Truck driving is historically ranked as one of the most dangerous jobs in the country. In 2018, U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistic reported truck driving as the most deadly job in the country.

 

Truck drivers have spent the last year on the front line of a global pandemic and protests. Now many are fearful of what might happen if police departs disband or are defunded.

 

Truck drives have been voicing their concerns on the CDLLife App. After reading about their concerns, CDLLife posted a poll on the app.

We asked drivers on the app, “Would you pick up/deliver to cities with defunded or disbanded police departments? Why or why not?”

 

To date, 77% of drivers say they will refuse loads to cities with disbanded or defunded police departments.

3. Ontario MP allegedly watched home for three months before arrest there for assault, break and enter, harassment

The National Post can now reveal that two people are listed as alleged victims of assault, one male and one female

Ontario Member of Parliament Marwan Tabbara allegedly spent so much time over three months watching a home in a nearby riding he made the occupant fear for her safety, according to a police document describing the serious criminal charges he is facing.

 

The watching started January 1 and ended April 9, the day Tabbara was arrested by police in Guelph, Ont., according to police allegations.

 

Tabbara, 35, was charged with two counts of assault, one count of break and enter and commit an indictable offence, and one count of criminal harassment.

 

The charges were not revealed at the time by Guelph Police Service and did not become public until Friday after National Post and two other media organizations directly asked police about it.

(Ezra predicts this guy will be the next Minister of Justice. His father picked this guy who forged the signature of his lover’s husband in order for her to get an abortion, so I can’t see why a little thing like stalking and assault and all the other stuff this guy did would stop Justin from making the appointment)

7. Australian researchers see virus design manipulation

(We posted a lot on this back in May when it was new. But added to the next story it seems worth looking at again)

A forthcoming Australian scientific study concludes that the coronavirus causing the global pandemic contains unique properties suggesting it was manipulated in a Chinese laboratory and was not the result of a natural occurrence.

 

Five scientists who conducted the study discovered an unusual ability of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, as the pathogen behind COVID-19 is called, to easily infect humans.

 

The scientists said there is no sign so far that the virus can be found in other animals, including bats or the exotiwildlife sold for fresh meat at a market in the Chinese city of Wuhan, where the virus was first identified and where China maintains a major laboratory studying such viruses.

(The most important paper on this was by Indian scientists which was mysteriously retracted for problems with methodology, although no one could find methodological problems including a Ph.D in Biology we know who studied the material for weeks looking for it. That paper also appears on the Retraction Watch site we linked yesterday.)

I think this is the sister who was killed.

A 22-year-old Iowa woman was killed in an apparently random shooting while leaving a George Floyd protest in Davenport — one of two fatal shootings reported overnight during demonstrations in the city.

 

Italia Marie Kelly was leaving the protest with a friend around midnight Sunday when she was struck from the back by a bullet and collapsed near a local Walmart, according to her aunt.

 

Police said she was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

“She was always smiling, always laughing,” aunt Amy Hale said. “That’s why it’s so sad that she was taken in such a violent way.”

 

“That is not Italia,” she said. “She was the bright, bubbly big personality in the room.”
