Ezra does his best expose on the CBC yet
Sun News is a dream come true for me. At least the things I have wanted to see in Canada since Trudeau are being said and done. I have resented the CBC’s self appointed pseudo vox populi at my expense for decades, not to mention their odiferous sanctimony while doing it. Seeing them called on to the same mattress that they routinely bring their idealistic enemies on to and watching them break the law trying to avoid it is very satisfying.
CBC uses tax dollars to fight telling the public what it does with tax dollars
Ezra Levant explains the ‘Faux-tests’ and the CBC promotion of them.
Damn Ezra is good. More from his show later.
Is the CBC Prying Tiles off the Canadian Cultural Mosaic?
Vlad Tepes is proud to present another guest article by J Practical

As a Canadian Jew, I make a habit of always booking vacations on certain Jewish holidays. Last week’s Rosh Hashanah is one that I always book well in advance, and take vacation days to celebrate. Every year I’m asked by a few colleagues what Rosh Hashanah is about. This year, for some reason, the questions kept coming in.
I thought it was strange, because just a month earlier, those very same colleagues seemed to have a great grasp of the meaning and customs of Ramadan and Eid.
So I tried an interesting exercise. I Googled ‘Rosh Hashanah’ on CBC.ca, just to find out what CBC had reported about this major Jewish holiday in the past year.
Would you believe that this year, CBC didn’t publish a single report describing Rosh Hashanah?
In fact, the only CBC stories that mentioned ‘Rosh Hashanah’, were the ones reporting how residents of Hampstead Quebec are irritated because of a bylaw that prevents them from making noise on Rosh Hashanah. While I agree with the irritated residents of Hampstead, I’m curious how CBC doesn’t have a single report describing what Rosh Hashanah is all about, or when it starts and ends. That’s a peculiar omission.
Then I did the same Google search for ‘Ramadan’ and ‘Eid’, the recent Muslim holidays that people seem to know quite a bit about.
Ramadan and Eid are reported richly – great detail. Not only does CBC describe the meaning of these holidays, but it also published slideshows that show the Muslim community celebrating across Canada and around the world. The CBC coverage brings home to Canadians what these holidays mean, with featured anecdotes, like the story of two young American-born Muslims who completed a road trip, crossing the U.S. in a quest to worship at 30 mosques, in 30 states, in the 30 days of Ramadan.
Turkish Teflon
An article written by ‘J-Practical’ for Vladtepes blog
According to Reuters, Turkey’s armed forces said on Monday that some 145-160 Kurdish guerrillas were killed in Turkish air and artillery strikes in northern Iraq this month. (http://uk.reuters.com/article/2011/08/29/uk-turkey-iraq-idUKTRE77S31620110829)
So why is Turkey bombing Kurds in Northern Iraq? After all, like the Turks, most Kurds are Sunni Muslims, fellow members of the Religion of Peace, and they’re neighbours of Turkey, living in a semi-autonomous region under limited self rule – so you’d think Turkey would make an effort to live in peace with them.
Actually, the peace is being broken by the Kurdish PKK (Kurdistan Workers Party), a terrorist organization recognized by Turkey, the United States and the European Union. Recently PKK assaults in Turkey have killed more than 40 Turkish security force personnel.
Turkey is simply defending itself from terrorists, which is why the Turkish airforce sent warplanes to bomb Kurdish towns which the Turkish intelligence say contain PKK bases and arms depots. As it happens regularly in such bombings, seven civilians were killed a week ago, though the Turkish General Staff said more than 100 PKK militants were also wounded.
Now, let’s see if this makes sense to you, because I’m scratching my head: Continue Reading →
Ezra Levant and Fred Litwin discuss government arts funding and the CBC
Ezra Levant takes on union ‘state’ TV, the CBC.
I wish I had the words to properly express my delight that someone has actually had the raw courage to expose the CBC for what it really is and take them on. I put the word, ‘state’ in single quotes because it isn’t really state TV. If it was, it would have a bias towards whatever government was in power. The CBC is leftist TV and despises conservatives, doubly so when they are in power.
As we see from this clip, CBC doesn’t even know how to handle someone challenging them. They take their sanctimony and their position as the official and rightful manufacturers of Canadian opinion so for granted that they simply don’t know how to handle anyone who might think they do not have an actual divine right to 1.1 billion a year of tax payers money and exemption from all the rules private broadcasters have to observe.
Thank you Ezra Levant. This is an idea that is so overdue, which makes it all the more refreshing to see someone take it on. Non Canadians may not appreciate this the way I do. But I so desperately want to see the CBC either privatized, or made into a genuinely public broadcaster like that TV station in LA where anyone can have their own show so long as they volunteer for five other shows and the state just pays for the maintenance of the equipment and space etc.
The racist CBC continues its brazen, baseless attack on any group it doesn’t like with the usual PC ammo
I confess I haven’t managed to get all the way through this article. The CBC calls the EDL a “racist Organization” without even feeling the slightest need for actual evidence and that, in an article dealing with Islamic terror in the UK. Stunning. I wonder, if every time I referred to the racist CBC as the racist CBC, you know, because of thier demonstrable bias against the one Jewish state on earth, Israel, while utterly failing to discuss the incredible and genuine apartheid of Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and another dozen islamic states I wonder if the racist CBC would, you know, sue me or try and silence me in some way. I think its time I found out. I think its time a few of us reffered to the racist CBC as the racist CBC. I mean as they have no compunction whatsoever to refer to the EDL as anything other than the racist EDL without even bothering to give evidence of it.
By the way, I will be posting a little less in the next few weeks. I will be making a short documentary on the grotesque bias of the CBC with a few dozen of their own clips which should allow even the most scrupulous of wordsmiths to have no hesitation to add the adjective, ‘racist’ before the term CBC. I look forward to broadcasting it.
The BBC attempts to castigate Robert Spencer for the Oslo monster’s actions
The above link shows very well how opportunistic leftist bias is in mass media, especially government controlled media such as the BBC or CBC. Robert defends himself very well where really, no defense should have been required at all.
The same BBC, and the CBC has similar if not identical policies, well carefully select out Islamic influence in the constant stream of Muslim atrocities well supported both by Islamic scripture as well as Islamic organizations who quote the Koran and other central dogma of Islam as their motive and inspiration and even more. their very instruction for these murders and acts of mass slaughter. Yet the BBC feels it necessary to accuse Spencer of being an influence in an act he could not possibly ever have known would take place.
CBC interviews a psychiatric expert on the motives for the Monster of Oslo
Ezra levant on the preposterous CBC bias and shifting ethics.
The CBC really is disgusting. If they were a private broadcaster I would just laugh and mock. But as they take over one billion (yes a Carl Sagan Billion) dollars of tax payers hard earned money every single year, I think Canadians should revolt and shut them down. At the very least, it should be privatized with no more guarantees and the same regulations that private broadcasters have. THanks Bad Faun for sending me this clip.
Interesting email exchange between a Canadian, and the CBC ombudsman concerning Israel.
I have left the emails perfectly intact except for replacing the name of the complainant. After all, this is Canada and if you take an unfashionable view on politics well, could impact ones job and social status. Just like you would expect in a free country.
Complainant to CBC:
When CBC.ca first posted the report “Hamas, Fatah proclaim reconciliation deal” (http://www.cbc.ca/news/world/story/2011/05/04/hama-fatah-cairo-agreement.html), it included the following two paragraphs:
“The Quartet of Mideast mediators — the U.S., the EU, the United Nations and Russia — has long demanded that Hamas renounce violence and recognize the principle of Israel’s right to exist.
But Abbas aide Nabil Shaath told Israel Radio ahead of Wednesday’s signing that these demands “are unfair, unworkable and do not make sense.”
CBC has since removed these paragraphs from the report. The report was altered without publishing a notice of retraction or correction.
These two paragraphs are critical to the reported story, and to Canadians’ understanding of what just occurred in the Palestinian Authority.
Following a unification agreement, the aide to the Chairman of the Palestinian Authority proclaimed to the world that it’s “unfair, unworkable and does not make sense” to recognize Israel, renounce violence and respect past agreements.
This remarkable comment comes from the office of the so-called moderate Palestinian leader, who is purportedly engaged in peace negotiations with Israel.
The deleted comment provides a valuable insight into the Palestinian Authority’s attitude towards Israel, and the possible reasons why peace negotiations have been so prolonged.
The lack of visible results in the middle eastern peace process is commonly blamed on Israel. This comment, which has been stealthily removed by CBC staff, clearly implicates the PA as partly responsible for the failure of the talks. Furthermore, it portrays them as supportive of Hamas terrorism, contrary to their stated claims of desiring a non-violent solution. Lastly, these are their words, their attitude.
Why was this statement removed from the story?
Why was a retraction or correction notice not published on CBC.ca?
Thank you for your attention
The CBC responds:

CBC you are great!
PLEASE stop all public funding to the CBC
Really there is no excuse for public funds going to an organization who treats it is as their personal mission to shape public political opinion as opposed to informing and worse, to do so with the cheapest of deceptions. Kudos to the excellent site, Blazing Cat Fur for exposing yet another CBC cheap-trick.
I say we take the total employee roster of the CBC and sell them to Hugo Chavez. The equipment should be given to bloggers like Blazing Cat fur and Five Feet of Fury.
