Palestinian envoy to Canada tips her hand, is thrown out of Canada
The diplomatic cold shoulder was sparked when Ms. Sobeh Ali took to Twitter this month to circulate a link to a video posted on YouTube, telling her followers on the social-media message system to “check this video out.”
The video shows a Palestinian girl, in tears and shouting with passion, reciting a poem in Arabic, “I am Palestinian.” The English subtitles on the video include a passage where millions are called “to a war that raze the injustice and oppression and destroy the Jews.”
When Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird learned of it about two weeks ago, he instructed his deputy minister, Morris Rosenberg, to call Ms. Sobeh Ali in to complain, and the Canadian representative in the West Bank, Chris Greenshields, to protest to the Palestinian Authority.
“Canada expects the Palestinian Authority to appropriately deal with this serious transgression,” Mr. Baird’s spokesman, Chris Day, said in an e-mail. “We have taken the decision to limit communication with this official until a replacement is selected.”…

The report doesn’t state the religion of the attackers, but Danish authorities have been concerned for a long time about the effects of antisemitic Arab satellite TV on Muslim-Danish kids.

A 21-year old Jewish woman was overseeing the Jewish cemetery in the Nørrebro district of Copenhagen this past Sunday when two young boys of foreign origin, about 13 years old, approached and asked what the place was.
She answered it was a Jewish cemetery. One of the boys asked whether she was Jewish, to which she answered in the affirmative. At this point he pulled out a corkscrew and threatened her, saying he’d been told he should kill all Jews.
The other boy told him to stop. Both boys then ran off.

One of Vlad’s Dutch contacts has been kind enough to struggle with English to try and impress on me, how serious todays riots in Tunisia are. I posted down below on the initial cause of the riots. The broadcast of a movie which has things that are objectionable to religious Muslims. This has become the dog-bites-man of counter jihad news of course.
This however, he has explained to me, is an order of magnitude more serious than just this. I will post the Dutch news report below but it is not subtitled, however the Arabic parts are titled in Dutch. If any bilingual Dutch people reading this would like to work with me to translate this video for subtitles please paste the translation in the comments with times before each sentence more or less so I can plug it in to the video.

So how did being upset at an Iranian expat’s animated autobiographical movie become about genocide of the Jews? My guess is because they are Muslims and genocide of the Jewish people is, certainly at this time as well as in antiquity, a dominant note in the Islamic triad.
Swastika | Synagogue targeted

A swastika was scrawled on the doors of Fredericton’s Sgoolai Israel Synagogue during the overnight hours Sunday, the first such incident of vandalism in the synagogue’s 77-year history.

Someone drew a swastika on the doors of the Sgoolai Israel Synagogue on Westmorland Street on Sunday night.
Rabbi Yosef Goldman said rather than protest the anti-Semitic act, he’s going to pray.
“My work here in Fredericton is always to teach people what Jewish people are all about and to remove any questions or ignorance,” Goldman said. “We don’t want it to turn into an endemic, but we also don’t want to overreact.”
An anti-Semitic slogan was written on a synagogue in St. John’s, N.L., last week. Goldman said he’s unsure if the two incidents are related.
He discovered the swastika on the synagogue’s front door when he arrived Monday morning. The swastika was traced in black marker and was surrounded by a black circle, about 20 centimetres in diameter. Continue Reading →
DUTCH CHRISTIAN DAILY ALLOWS ANTI-SEMITIC TROPES IN ITS COMMENTS
Enquiring minds would like to know why?
It was brought to the attention of the Tundra Tabloids that the leading Christian “quality” daily, Trouw, leaves extreme anti-Semitic talkbacks on its website to an article titled: Nobody dared to question Hitler“. According to the BadNewsFromTheNetherlands blog, anti-Semitic comments such as these are left online for all to see:
The factories in Germany and the rest of Europe were in the hands of the Jewish people which paid starvation wages to their workers, while they made giant profits on the American markets. This is the reason why Hitler became so angry with this people. He had warned them frequently enough to be honest traders and pay decent salaries. The Jews refused this, which led to hatred against these people….That’s what I know about it. They became rich from the crisis.”
This is not only categorically false, it also promotes the myth that Jews brought upon themselves their own destruction. Just think what the Dutch anti-Semites will do with that anti-Jew trope, not only the knuckle dragging Neo-Nazi types on the Left, but also the Muslims who get major doses of anti-Semitic rhetoric in their Mosques and whenever they crack open a koran, or a book of hadiths and sunna of Mohamed.
What in the world are these editors of this leading Christian “quality” online magazine thinking? Has the situation so deteriorated that European Christians are once again dipping into the well of irrational Jew hatred? KGS

Angry protesters gather in Tripoli to demand deportation of Libyan Jew David Gerbi, who has been trying to reopen a sealed synagogue.
A few hundred angry protesters gathered in central Tripoli on the eve of Yom Kippur on Friday, calling for the deportation of a Libyan Jew who has been trying to reopen a synagogue sealed since ousted Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi expelled the country’s Jewish community in 1967.
The protesters carried signs reading, “There is no place for the Jews in Libya,” and “We don’t have a place for Zionism.”
The crowds tried to storm Italian Libyan Jewish psychoanalyst David Gerbi’s Corinthia Hotel in central Tripoli. There was also a demonstration in Benghazi in the east of the country.
According to Gerbi, the crowd wanted to forcibly remove him from the hotel.

Islamic Ethnic Cleansing of Jews

The Jews who fled the Muslim world left many things behind. They left behind their homes and their possessions. Their synagogues, their neighborhoods, and much of their history remained in the alleys of Aleppo, the neighborhoods of Cairo and the streets of Baghdad.
Today when their history isn’t being ignored, while that of the Arabs who fled Israel after their failed attempts at genocide of the country’s Jewish population in 1948 and 1967 is lionized, it’s being lied about.
Every Muslim country constructs its own myths of a “Golden Age” where Jews were taken care of by their Muslim masters. Even when, like Al-Andalus, they are countries that no longer exist.
Confederate apologists defend slavery by claiming that the slaves were happy until the abolitionists disrupted the status quo. Apologists for the treatment of Jews in the Arab world sing the same song. Everyone was united, everyone was happily Syrian, Iraqi or Egyptian, until the creation of Israel ruined everything.
In response to a David Horowitz Freedom Center ad in the GW Hatchet, an email came in from an Iraqi student claiming that “long before Israel was even a thought, Iraq (my home country), had been a shining example of unity while simultaneously celebrating the diversity of cultures” and that “Jewish populations began to leave Iraq; not because of religious discrimination but because they felt obligated to support a country of their faith.”
This narrative blames the treatment of the Jewish minority in the Arab world on the Jews, by claiming that there was a Zionist conspiracy to drive them out, e.g. the Lavon Affair. These conspiracy theories allow Muslims to avoid coming to terms with their national persecution of Jewish minorities by blaming Jews for their own ethnic cleansing.
The Arab world prior to 1949 was not a tolerant multicultural paradise. Iraq certainly wasn’t. After the Ottoman Empire it was in a state of conflict, torn by ethnic and religious divisions. The current tensions between Shiite and Sunni, and between Arab and Kurd did not begin yesterday. And Jews were often the targets.
After Iraqi Jews were freed from Ottoman rule and its Islamic law that branded them “Dhimmis,” legal and social inferiors, they gained new opportunities under British rule and a measure of equality. But the rights they gained were not only eroded under succeeding Iraqi governments, but their achievements made them the targets of bigotry and hate.
This is the process that turned the community of over a 100,000 Jews in Baghdad into a series of empty houses and distant memories. When Iraqi Arabs chose to listen to the incitement of hate, rather than to their common humanity, and chose to use violence against the Jews of Baghdad— that marked the beginning of the end for Jewish life in Iraq.
The Iraqi letter writer speaks of a “shining example of unity,” but that is generally code for a time when everyone knew their place. When the Jews forgot their place as Dhimmis, they broke that unity and as the Caliphate shifted to Pan-Arabism, the Jews of Iraq found themselves once again on the outside. They had not been Muslims and they were not Arabs. Once again they were outsiders, and to the newspapers that promoted the unity of Pan-Arabism, they were ripe targets to be denounced as outsiders, enemies and spies.
Anti-Semitic mob violence had existed in Baghdad throughout the 20th century, with Jews being assaulted in 1908 as supporters of the Young Turks and then as British spies, in the 1940s as supporters of the Iraqi monarchy and then finally as supporters of Israel. But the issue was always the need for a minority to transform into the scapegoat. A role that Israel still plays in the Muslim Middle East

What sort of sentiments can motivate someone to march on ‘evil bankers’?
I suspect that when, some people at least, use phrases like, ‘evil bankers’ and so on they are speaking an old code for a particular demographic. It should be no surprise that some on the far left, like the National Socialist Workers Party for one example and others in more modern and less tightly knit groups share some of the same sentiments. So why would young people with time on their hands head over to Wall St. and take up residence?

I asked some people I know to check the Arabic in this video to make sure there wasn’t some horrible misunderstanding as I have seen in forged videos before. I remember one from the original Tahir Sq. demonstrations where the audio had been forged to make it out to be an antisemetic event when, at least that specific gathering, it was not. However this is, from what I have been able to gather, what it appears to be. The Arabic long sign also says:
“One nation for a new Holocaust.”

A rising leader in the radical Islamic movement in Egypt that has become a major political player since the demise of Hosni Mubarak’s regime says Christian churches may need to be blown up and Christians exterminated to allow the advance of Islamic law, or Shariah.
The comments come from Sheik ‘Adel Shehato, a senior leader with the Egyptian Islamic Jihad terrorist group. The sheik was jailed in 1991 because of his positions but was released earlier this year in the revolution that removed Mubarak from power.
His interview with the Egyptian daily Roz Al-Yousef was translated by the Middle East Media Research Institute.

Textbooks used in Saudi Arabia’s schools contain virulent forms of anti-Christian and anti-Jewish bigotry that continue to fuel intolerance and violence around the globe, says a new report.
The problem is far greater than the five million students in Saudi Arabia who use these texts every day, said Nina Shea, director of the Washington-based Hudson Institute’s Center for Religious Freedom.
“Because of the Saudis’ great oil wealth, it is able to disseminate its textbooks far and wide,” she wrote in the report, Ten Years On.
“[These textbooks] are posted on the Saudi Education Ministry’s website and are shipped and distributed free by a vast Saudi-sponsored Sunni infrastructure to many Muslim schools, mosques and libraries throughout the world.
“This is not just hate mongering, it’s promoting violence,” she said in an interview. It is exporting terrorism through textbooks.
