Now and again I feel it is worth posting little reminders to those in denial of the nature and intentions of Islam. Israel isn’t the problem. Israel is merely the first obstacle to Islamic global ambitions. Islamic doctrine states that once an area has been controlled by Muslims, it is forever more ‘Islamic Land’ which somehow differentiates it from regular infidel land that was promised to Muslims by Mohamed’s alter ego Allah.
Here is a clip from MEMRI 2008 where this ambition is explained clearly with German and English subtitles. Notice the clear reference to spain. This is no joke. OBL also reffered to retaking Spain in at least one of his videos when he was still relevant. This is quite an interesting speech. Not typical. Not fire and brimstone but with a certain clarity and decency that is very enjoyable. As much as I make the effort to not post too much about internal US politics, (It can be like a drug. A sort of soap opera with real characters) I think what he says about the media in general, the age we live in and how information has been distorted to an unhealthy agenda, how freedom and liberty in the US is tied with freedom and liberty in Israel and both need saving is quite good. So I posted it.

I might add, that the senator was right when she more or less said, ‘Being anti Israel doesn’t make you antisemitic’. The problem is, those who are anti Israel pretty much always are, given that they never worry about infinitely worse and genuine human rights abuses elsewhere.

Eritrean Christians fleeing persecution in their homeland are facing imprisonment, torture, beatings and sexual assault in Egypt, reports Barnabas Fund.
The charity, which supports the persecuted church worldwide, estimates that hundreds of Eritrean Christian refugees have been subjected to terrible abuse after arriving in Egypt.
Egypt is the most popular destination for Christians escaping from Eritrea, one of the most hostile countries in the world for followers of the faith.
In Eritrea, Christians and evangelicals in particular are viewed as a threat to national security because of their allegiance to God before the state.
As a result, many of them are tortured and imprisoned for their faith in conditions described by Barnabas Fund as “horrendous”.
Persecution has intensified in recent months after an Eritrean governor ordered a purge against Christians at the end of 2010.
The charity said hundreds of Eritrean Christians were risking their lives each month to enter Egypt, where they go in the hope of eventually being able to cross the border into Israel.
A Channel 4 documentary, “Breaking into Israel”, last week charted the harsh 900-mile journey made by Eritrean refugees, some of whom die before reaching their destination. MAJDAL SHAMS, Golan Heights — Israeli troops opened fire Sunday at a crowd of pro-Palestinian protesters who tried to break into the Israeli-controlled Golan Heights from neighboring Syria, killing as many as 11 people and wounding over 220, according to Syrian TV.
Israel angrily accused the Syrian regime of orchestrating the violence — the second border clash in less than a month — to deflect attention from its bloody crackdown on a popular uprising at home. The burst of violence marked the Arab defeat in the 1967 Mideast war.
Israel had promised to prevent a repeat of last month’s deadly protests, in which hundreds of people broke through a border fence, entered the Golan and clashed with Israeli forces. Thousands of troops were mobilized in anticipation of possible unrest.
“Unfortunately, extremist forces around us are trying today to breach our borders and threaten our communities and our citizens. We will not let them do that,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told his Cabinet. He said security forces had been ordered to show “maximum restraint.”
Despite Israel’s warnings, hundreds of demonstrators — a mix of Palestinians and their Syrian supporters — passed by Syrian and U.N. outposts early Sunday and marched to the barbed-wire lined trench the Israeli military dug along the border after last month’s unrest.
