This is an event, the importance of which, will be missed by nearly everybody.
Just a week or so ago, massive mobs demanded that a Christian, more importantly, a non-muslim, governor who is up for reelection in Indonesia, be tried/jailed for blasphemy.
His actual “crime” such as it isn’t, was that he challenged his muslim opponent who claimed that the koran says that muslims may not be ruled by a non-muslim.
The Christian governor disagreed with that interpretation.
He in effect, was trying to say that the literal interpretation of koran should not apply, or be the only consideration when choosing a political leader.
This was determined to be blasphemy by the howling mob.
He was subsequently arrested and is now on trial for this, arguably most victimless crime possible.
The crowds are back, this time demanding a foregone conclusion. Jail. And of course we all know it won’t end there. Assassination attempts will likely take place on him, and his lawyers and any public supporters of his, like it does in Pakistan.
And if it doesn’t. its only a matter of time till it does.
But this is an important event for a few reasons.
The obvious one. That Indonesia is rapidly sliding into a muslim theocracy.
The slightly less obvious one, that we are witnessing a process that can and will take place all over the world if we do not take very very serious measures to stop it.
London England:
Please listen carefully to what the speakers are saying. As some are hard to make out, Breitbart has done us the courtesy of transcribing some of it.
Indonesia was not always a muslim country. And now it is be much more sharia compliant than it was a few years ago. And a few years from now it will be much more sharia compliant than it is now.
Hijra means two things. To make a journey to a place that is not islamic to make it islamic, but it also means the journey of making a place more islamic than it currently is.
As an aside, that is one of the only two clear ways a muslim can make it into the odd, lewd, Islamic concept of an afterlife, with its whores who are virgins and its rivers of wine.
The other reason to be concerned, is that a howling mob can force events to take place in the world of government and courts, based on a blasphemy accusation by a howling mob of people determined to create a despotic state. This is not news and utterly obvious. We see it constantly from Muslims.
But what is less obvious is that it is not for insulting Mohammad or his sock puppet allah.
It is for challenging just one of the ideas in the koran.
This is a demand to make every idea in that insane little book inviolable.
And at the expense of the real meaning of that word.
This is not a slippery slope, this is a well greased slide at a waterpark.
Of course the immediate implication of a guilty verdict will be that no non-muslim can possibly run for office anywhere that the population of muslims is high enough to prevent it, not by voting, although that would be bad enough, but by forming a rabid mob.
Given that Germany now has the highest number of accepted “refugees” in the world, higher than all other countries in THE WORLD COMBINED, one gets a sense of where it will happen first in the Western classical democracies.

The new Caliphate is being formed and very few Western leaders are recognizing and talking about the danger much less trying to do something to prevent the danger of a semi unified Islamic world. We haven’t seen a danger like this since the collapse of the power of the Ottoman Empire, not the destruction of the Ottoman Empire but the collapse of its power where for around 100 years it was the sick man of Europe with sections of the Empire breaking off.

VIDEO 1000 Muslims block London streets chanting Allahu Akbar to demand Islamic caliphate (express, Dec 15, 2016)
http://www.express.co.uk/news/world/743825/1000-Muslims-close-London-streets-chant-Allahu-Akbar-demand-Islamic-caliphate
“MORE than 1000 Muslims took to the streets of London last night chanting Allahu Akbar and demanding an Islamic caliphate.
The street outside the empty embassy in Belgrave Square, London, was closed off as it filled with protestors and Islamic leaders chanting loudly and calling for America to be punished over Aleppo.
The demonstration became an alternative to an official rally calling for an end to the bloodshed in Syria outside Downing Street.
During the speeches which lasted almost an hour the crowd chanted Allahu Akbar ‘God is the greatest’ and cheered for those calling for a global caliphate.
A poet invited to talk shouted: “We need a Caliph who will clean up these streets. Who will smack up armies and who will back beef [fighting].
“Backhand your missiles back to your land, that’s the plan.
“World domination at hand. We can expand and take out these fools.”
The crowd largely segregated into men and women with many of the women wearing Islamic clothing.
According to website Breitbart one protester appeared to be waving a Taliban flag, while others were handed placards made by Hizb ut-Tahrir Britain, which calls for the reestablishment of a caliphate.
It is unclear who organised the demonstration…”
Siemens offers $2.5b credit facility for TAPI pipeline (tribune, Dec 15, 2016)
http://tribune.com.pk/story/1263555/talks-progress-siemens-offers-2-5b-credit-facility-tapi-pipeline/
“ISLAMABAD: Germany-based engineering company Siemens has offered a credit facility of around $2.5 billion on the supply of compressors for Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline, a vital development in efforts to press ahead with the project at a fast pace.
According to officials having knowledge of the development, TAPI Company, established by the four countries with the task of laying and operating the pipeline, will need to install nine compressors for transmitting gas from energy-rich Turkmenistan to Afghanistan, Pakistan and India. Under the $2.5-billion supplier credit facility, Siemens will provide compressors against a loan. Remaining funds for the pipeline project will be generated through road shows in different countries such as the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Singapore, officials say…”
Myanmar’s Rohingya insurgency has links to Saudi, Pakistan: report (reuters, Dec 15, 2016)
http://www.reuters.com/article/us-myanmar-rohingya-idUSKBN1432IZ?il=0
“A group of Rohingya Muslims that attacked Myanmar border guards in October is headed by people with links to Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, the International Crisis Group (ICG) said on Thursday, citing members of the group.
The coordinated attacks on Oct. 9 killed nine policemen and sparked a crackdown by security forces in the Muslim-majority northern sector of Rakhine State in the country’s northwest.
At least 86 people have been killed, according to state media, and the United Nations has estimated 27,000 members of the largely stateless Rohingya minority have fled across the border to Bangladesh.
Predominantly Buddhist Myanmar’s government, led by Nobel Peace Prize winner Aung San Suu Kyi, blamed Rohingyas supported by foreign militants for the Oct. 9 attacks, but has issued scant additional information about the assailants it called “terrorists.”….”
Bahrain adjourns trial of opposition leader (gulfnews, Dec 15, 2016)
http://gulfnews.com/news/gulf/bahrain/bahrain-adjourns-trial-of-opposition-leader-1.1947177
“Dubai: A Manama court on Thursday adjourned the trial of Bahraini opposition leader Nabil Rajab for a fourth time and rejected calls for his release, judicial sources said.
The sources said defence lawyers argued for the release of Rajab, who attended the hearing, saying he was innocent of charges of having “insulted” Bahraini and Saudi authorities.
The court turned down the request and adjourned the trial until December 28, the fourth such delay, saying it was awaiting an experts’ report on “who is running Nabil Rajab’s Twitter account” while he remains behind bars.
Rajab was arrested on June 13 for “spreading false news and rumours during a time of war”.
If he is found guilty, he could face 15 years in prison.”
Austria’s social system ‘unaffordable without migration’ (thelocal, Dec 15, 2016)
http://www.thelocal.at/20161215/austrias-social-system-unaffordable-without-migration
“Austria must encourage immigration in order to be able to afford to maintain its social security system, according to the interior ministry.
Presenting the findings of a report on migration, Interior Minister Wolfgang Sobotka said Austria needs around 50,000 migrants a year, who will work and pay social insurance.
The problem is that Austria’s population is shrinking, and ageing. The average birth rate of 1.4 children is not enough, according to migration experts. If the population does not grow the risk is that unemployment will increase and social benefits for all Austrians will become unaffordable.
However, Sobotka said that uncontrolled migration can be damaging to society and therefore he wants to set up a migration commission at the beginning of 2017 to come up with a strategy for controlled immigration…”
Swedes who finance terror to face extra taxes (thelocal, Dec 15, 2016)
http://www.thelocal.se/20161215/supporting-terrorism-pay-more-tax-says-sweden
“More than 100 people suspected of financing terror activities have been forced to pay more tax as part of a collaboration between the Swedish tax agency and security police.
The project started around a year ago at the initiative of Sweden’s national security services Säpo.
It has so far handed over a list of 400 people suspected of financing terror-related activities to the Swedish tax authorities, Skatteverket, who then examined their tax declarations.
Skatteverket is still working its way through the list, but has found signs in around 70 percent of the cases it has investigated to date that not enough tax has been paid. Newspaper Sydsvenskan reports that around 120 people have so far been told to pay up.
“We look at their accounts and their lives and way of living and see if that indicates that they ought to be paying more tax than they are,” Pia Bergman, Skatteverket’s national coordinator against organized crime, explained to The Local.
The scheme has so far resulted in an extra 11.1 million kronor ($1.2 million) being paid to the Swedish state. It is just one part of the effort to crack down on networks supporting terrorism, and Skatteverket only focuses on the tax side of things, while Säpo continues the criminal investigation…”
Human Rights Watch: Turkey silencing media in post-coup purge (DW, Dec 15, 2016)
http://www.dw.com/en/human-rights-watch-turkey-silencing-media-in-post-coup-purge/a-36788601
“The international rights group Human Rights Watch has accused Turkey of quashing independent and opposition media outlets. Turkey claims it’s fighting multiple sources of terrorism.
US-based Human Rights Watch (HRW) said in a report that Turkey had “sharpened” its “assault” on journalism since the failed coup in July. The report said Turkey has “all but silenced independent media” as part of an ongoing purge on dissident voices in the country, which it says has accelerated since 2014.
The watchdog highlighted that journalists are being detained on “bogus charges” including terrorism as part of the crackdown. HRW’s Europe and Central Asia director, Hugh Williamson, said 148 journalists and other media workers had been detained under the ongoing state of emergency in the country. This is in addition to 140 media outlets and 29 publishing houses that have been shut down as part of the post-coup state of emergency, leaving more than 2,500 journalists and media workers unemployed.
Williamson also told the Associated Press that the Turkish government’s “systematic effort to silence media in the country is all about preventing public scrutiny.”
“Keeping 148 journalists and media workers in jail and closing down 169 media and publishing outlets under the state of emergency shows how Turkey is deliberately flouting basic principles of human rights and rule of law central to democracy,” he added.
Turkish officials did not comment on the report’s findings…”
This Indonesian story as you say is far more important than it appears or is reported. It is absolutely frightening, an example of what Islam has been doing for 1400 years, and it’s coming straight for us like a steam train.
We all need to do more to stop it.
