British home secretary bans Dr.Naik from entering U.K., has Muslims in an uproar

Dr Zakir Naik banned from UK ahead of Wembley Arena peace conference

12:42pm Friday 18th June 2010

THE keynote speaker at a Muslim conference set to be the focus of protests in Wembley has been banned from the UK.

Dr Zakir Naik, an Indian preacher who was once quoted saying “every Muslim should be a terrorist”, has been denied entry to the country by Home Secretary Theresa May.

Dr Naik was due to speak to the Al-Khair Peace Conference at Wembley Arena on Saturday, June 26, an appearance which has sparked a protest from the English Defence League (EDL).

Mrs May said in a statement today: “I have today excluded Dr Naik from the UK. Numerous comments made by Dr Naik are evidence to me of his unacceptable behaviour.

“Coming to the UK is a privilege not a right and I am not willing to allow those who might not be conducive to the public good to enter the UK.

“Exclusion powers are very serious and no decision is taken lightly or as a method of stopping open debate on issues.”

The EDL told the Harrow Times today that the organisation, which has labeled the conference as a vehicle for “preachers of hate”, will proceed with its demonstration despite the news.

A spokesman, who would not give him name, said: “People going to this conference support his ideology, there are other speakers still going, and these people obviously condone his behaviour.

“The fact they are saying it is a peace conference and that they are a charity is rubbish. The fact that the Home Secretary has banned him speaks for itself.”

The spokesman also took a swipe at Unite Against Fascism (UAF) who have vowed to hold a counter-protest in Wembley on the same day.

He said UAF have a track record of violence and being arrested at protest, and insisted the EDL is a peaceful protest group trying to exercise its right to demonstrate.

End.

——–

How does Dr. Naik feel about his obvious exclusion from the country? ‘Disappointed’ of course. In fact, he’s so disappointed he’s seeking to see if he can have the home secretary’s decision legally overturned. And his buddies at the Muslim Council of Britain? They’re upset too:

“The Home Secretary’s action serves to demonise the very voices within the world ready for debate and discussion. “The tour would have been a golden opportunity for young Muslims who are eager to hear the true messages of Islam which promote understanding between communities.”

I hope the demo is as good as the beer.

If any people are reading this that can attend, please join the EDL as they fight for Magna Carta, rational rights from the nation that invented rational rights, and all of British cultural heritage. They are it folks. There is no other force in England that is actually doing anything to fight the tidal wave of irrational leftism and irrational violent religious authority which is rapidly turning England into an unrecognizable and more importantly, one where laws seem arbitrary and based on superstition and identity politics over reasoned evidence and true egalitarian principles.

By the way, this is also the best video yet. Congrats to whoever does their video work. Great job!

English Defence League Website Censored

From the ICLA

Today the English Defence League Website has been suspended, apparently because of an article that describes, using suras from the Quran, how Islam looks on the Kuffar (non-Muslims).  This latest act of censorship is reminiscent of the way Geert Wilders’ short film, Fitna, has been demonised for revealing truth.  Wilders juxtaposed Quranic quotes with acts of terror, the article in question did not even go that far.  It seems that the thought police are about their work again, suppressing debate, denying reality, and bolstering established interests.

Apparently the reason provided for this blatant act of censorship was that the article ‘contravenes UK racism laws’.  If this is the case then it means one of two things, that the Quran itself contravenes UK racism laws or Islam has an exemption from UK racism laws, and is treated as a special case.  Since the Quran is still available for sale on the shelves of UK bookshops it must mean that the latter is true.  That being so effectively means that the UK is already under a form of Sharia law which demands that Islam is above criticism and completely outside the realm of rational debate.  When the Racial and Religious Hatred Act was put before Parliament the British people were assured that freedom of expression would not be a casualty. It would appear that the British people were seriously misled and that the Racial and Religious Hatred Act was nothing other than a Sharia enabling act designed specifically to usher in a period of Islamic rule. England. Orwell files #264

Here is an article by Melanie Phillips on leftism and how it is destroying individual freedoms in England. She must be the only one surprised by this. Leftism is designed to destroy individualism and liberalism and to pave the way for a totalitarian state, caving in to man’s second lowest instinct, sanctimony and the desire to control ones neighbours behaviours for their own good of course.

The number of articles published or republished here on Vlad alone this past seven days on the fascist decisions by the British political class or its constabulary is too large to consider them to be exceptions but clearly indicate a policy at work. One of galloping statism, irrational leftism and the deliberate destruction of a traditional England and any kind of real liberalism.

In any case, Melanie Phillips lists quite a few more and gives passing mention to a few that we caught as well here.

British people are forming movements such as the EDL etc. to fight the encroachment of Islam in the UK, and understandably so, as clearly their religious rights are, to quote Ms. Phillips quoting Animal Farm, “more equal than others” but as I see it in England, the real danger is the leftist political class. The ones who acquiesce to every Muslim demand, pass laws against mentioning Muslim terrorism even when the terrorists themselves make videos explaining their obligation to religious Islamic Jihad, and making life for Christians unbearable.

I beg the good people at the EDL and other groups concerned about England to look at home first.

Dudley’s ‘Rooftop Two’ and events of this week.

This is a complicated post. I have been following this situation as closely as I can, attempting to figure out exactly what took place.

What is certain, is the attitudes of the people on all sides, as their various forums are public. So I will post links to the Muslim sites who have things to say about the EDL rooftop protest to stop the mega mosque, the fascists who go typically and predictably by names such as ‘anti fascist’ or ‘United Against Fascism’ etc.

What appears to have happened, is the EDL, good to their word from the Dudley Protest, went back to Dudley and set up camp on the roof of the derelict building which is slated to be destroyed to make way for, to say the very least, a highly controversial ‘Mega-Mosque’ with large minarets etc.

The story as I understand it, is that a large group of Muslim agitators appeared at the site of the EDL return protest and threatened to riot. They, according to accounts by some at the scene, where throwing projectiles over the police lines and as they grew in number, the police arrested some of the protesters and ended the rooftop sit in.

Some said that the police did this for the protection of the EDL as they did not have the manpower to protect them from the Muslim agitators. Others however say that several EDL members took stab wounds, and that one EDL member suffered a broken arm or leg from police brutality in the arrest.

I am having trouble putting all the events together as the facts seem to change quickly and its hard to find photos and video for some of the claims. However, there indeed has surfaced some pictures of a crowd of people at the scene not sympathetic to the EDL.

These photos from The Socialist Worker site, one not typically in favour of the EDL or individual liberties etc.

The SW description of events is quite radically different than the information I have from my EDL sources.

The description of events is quite different as well at a UK Muslim site where readers are advised to get bow and arrows, become proficient in archery etc. and prepare to ‘defend’ the religion, which by now Im pretty sure most readers of Vlad realize actually means, fight those who resist the process of Islamification.

‘Defence’, is one of those words, like ‘marriage, ‘Justice’, ‘liable’, and so many more than Muslims secretly redefine for their own purposes, hoping we don’t catch on of course.

Here is a post from Gates of Vienna, who managed to get a fair amount of meaningful information and sort out some events. I think its interesting that bail was denied to people who are not violent and that they where put into cells with Muslim prisoners.

Free the Dudley Two!

EDL Dudley rooftopThe news about the EDL prisoners in Wolverhampton has been trickling in all day. It has been confusing and sometimes contradictory, but the upshot is that “Leon and Snowy” were denied bail and are still in the Wolverhampton jail, in company with Muslim prisoners. They will face another court appearance on Monday.

At least one of them has injuries, which were reportedly sustained when both of them were beaten up by police during the storming of the rooftop at the Dudley mosque site.

I’ll take the available material in more or less the order it came in. First, this message was on the EDL forum early this morning:

Just saw this message. Its on FB group as well… “Leon phoned last night and asked me to pass this on to u.he is in court tomorrow morning 9.30being done for burglary with intent to damage, religious hatred.” Continue Reading →

UK: News black out on potential Muslim violent riot

How do you know you live in a fascist state? Well one way might be that the government denies you access to critical information without which, you cannot make rational choices for yourself politically or even personally. Like where you want to live and under what conditions.

The fact that the government of England forced a news blackout on a gathering crowd of armed Muslims attempting to attack a few EDL members who were camped out on the roof of a building to protest the planned but opposed, ‘Mega-Mosque’ is a pretty good sign that the government of England cares nothing for the people it governs, but for imposing it’s will on them instead without even their knowledge let alone consent.

We did indeed lose the cold war.

Riot (News Blackout)

EDL In Dudley

1000’s of Muslims are currently on the rampage in Dudley. Surely not these peaceful people I hear you all say, but there is nothing on the news. That is because the media don’t want you to know, especially days before a general election. What prompted this outrage? Did someone draw an offensive cartoon of the prophet, or dare call a teddy bear Mohamed? No it is much worse than that. The English have dared take their country back.
As I am writing this there are currently several EDL members on the roof of the proposed building site for the Dudley Super Mosque staging a protest. They have enough food for days, a PA system and even a playstation. They will be giving speeches and also playing the call to prayer 5 times a day so residents are aware of the noise they will have to endure. There are also many EDL on the ground in a united show of strength and support. Numbers have been said to be between 50 and 100, but all there flying the flag on a moment’s notice. Well done lads and lasses, you are a credit to your country, and your ancestors that fought to defend our lands.
The EDL causing mischief you would expect the press to be out in full force, but the silence from the media is deafening. After speaking to people at the site, it appears the EDL aren’t the ones causing the trouble, but the 1000’s of Muslims trying their hardest to break police lines to get to the EDL. They are throwing bricks and bottles at the protestors but none are reaching their targets thankfully.
I have also had reports from Dudley that smaller groups of Muslims are ambushing white people all over the town. You know just days before the election there is going to be no media coverage of this, as it shows what we already know and the government want to hide, Muslims are violent, aggressive people with a moral code that is incompatible with western values. After all the politicians have been telling us for years that they are salt of the earth folk just misunderstood.
“But there mosque is under attack” I hear people say. Bull The EDL are camped out on a site due for demolition to make way for a mosque. They haven’t insulted Islam, or its followers. In fact the only thing they have done since been up on the roof is play the call to prayer, which if the mosque is built will be played 5 times a day anyway. The police have now closed to road to the demo and anyone trying to turn up with EDL colours is getting issued with a dispersal order.
I actually feel for the people of Dudley as to be fair they have been put out by the EDL on 2 occasions now, when the people of Dudley campaigned in the first place against the building of this monstrosity. The blame for this lies directly on the doorstep of the council for putting the wants of the Muslim community before the objections of the townsfolk. We are meant to live in a democracy which means that if the people go to their local council and say we object to these plans that have been submitted then the council have to listen. They chose not to so now the EDL will force them to
Well done EDL for defending the honour of my country, you truly are an inspiration to us all and I wish you every success

Right-wing protesters in stand-off with riot police over plans for £18m ‘mega mosque’

By Daily Mail Reporter
Last updated at 3:45 PM on 3rd May 2010

Riot police were in a stand-off today with ring-wing protesters who stormed the site of a planned ‘super mosque’.

Two members of the far-right English Defence League scaled the roof of a derelict building in Dudley, West Midlands, yesterday waving anti-Muslim banners.

They climbed to the rooftop on Sunday evening as dozens of protesters gathered at the site after an internet campaign by the EDL.

That evening around 30 masked protesters were ordered off the site as fights broke out.  A police officer and local teenager were taken to hospital for minor injuries after the clashes

Several EDL members clambered onto the roof of the building, which had been earmarked for the super mosque development.

The protest came just a month after 2,000 of far-right EDL protesters descended on Dudley to march against Islamic extremism.

Some bashed down metal fences, threw metal brackets at police and even fought with their own stewards who were trying to calm them down.

This morning, the men – who were dressed in balaclavas and army fatigues – remained on the roof of the old clothing factory where they unfurled banners reading ‘no to the burka’ and ‘no mosque’.

Live feed of the EDL protesting the Dudley ‘Mega Mosque’

After the Dudley Demo, The EDL promised to return and sit on the rooftops of the building set for destruction to be replaced with a mega mosque, a mosque local council and turned down, but government overturned and allowed for.
The EDL plan to stay on the rooftops and protest till Thursday’s election.

Councillor Malcolm Davis of Dudley, Speaks for the People

From the EDL website:

riday, 30 April 2010 12:33

Cllr Malcolm DaviesCllr Malcolm Davies

The English Defence League is a non political organisation. We know that over the years a lot of our politicians from all parties have let us, the people, down on a good many issues. We neither support, nor oppose any political party.

It has come to our attention that one man in the political world has been on a fight. A fight for his local people. He has faced derision, he has faced contempt, he has faced hostility. Yet he is still prepared to make a stand for what he knows is the wishes of the people he represents.

For five long years Councillor Malcolm Davis of Dudley has represented his people with dignity, and integrity on the issue of the massively unwanted supermosque that a small section of the population is trying to impose on the community. Despite over 22,000 signatories against it and very few for, it is being pushed through.

Councillor Davis has been a shining light in trying to get this behemoth blight removed from the horizon.

When the EDL came to Dudley, at first Cllr Davis opposed our visit. He showed unity with other groups. They had heard things about us that simply weren’t true. The fact is, we the EDL are a group of ordinary people who see things as they are, that we have an enemy within this nation and the vast majority of politicians know this is the case yet they are too self-serving to raise their head above the parapet.

He came to our meetings with police, he was again in the background without publicity fighting for what he believed was right. He told us straight exactly what his opinions were whether it was what we wanted to hear or not. A true man of integrity and courage.

After the Dudley demonstration, he saw that we were really people of honour. He saw the people of Dudley coming out of their houses to applaud us as our coaches drove by, he saw people getting out of their cars to cheer and wave. He saw the true nature of our support in Dudley. He saw that we are a force of good.

After Dudley, he wrote a letter and sent it to the press. Not one paper or publication printed it either in whole or part. Not one. This shows the extent of how far they go to hide the truth. We, the EDL, shall publish this letter and allow this noble man his freedom of speech.

I went to considerable length to make sure the demonstration of the EDL was not supported on Saturday, including attending police meetings arranged, and in conjunction with the EDL. It would appear that at several meetings prior to this one a group calling themselves the UAF turned up in opposition and were more disruptive and had more arrests on these previous occasions than the EDL. I commend the police by their prior action and the way they tried to stabilize an awkward operation, but am most annoyed that people supporting the EDL were penned in like animals whilst the UAF were given the freedom to walk clear.

It also doesn’t help when, as a politician, I denied myself the great opportunity to be well advertised and promoted as part of the demonstration on behalf of UKIP, whilst people like the Bishop of Dudley used it specifically as an excuse to promote his own selfish interests and use it as his own personal pulpit.

My sons attended the demonstration against my wishes and were standing by an old gentleman who did no more or less than buy a loaf of bread, but was told he could not exit the crowd until they were all dispersed together. The same thing happened to many ordinary residents from our surrounding estates who found themselves fenced in like animals until they were released.

It is little wonder, under these circumstances, that frustration got the better of some in the crowd who objected to be herded like sheep. Two sections of fencing was pushed down and if this amounted to £150,000 worth of damage, the fencing must have been made out of gold.

The top and bottom of the whole affair revolves round the covenant and had been called in as demanded of this council by the people there would be no excuse to call into Dudley or use it as an excuse to demonstrate at all. This Council has denied the rights of every citizen of Dudley, who asked for this Giant Mosque to be stopped. They had every right morally and in law to service the covenant and take back land that was gifted to a few outspoken greedy members of our society who think they have the authority to dip into the public purse every time they require another favour.

If justice isn’t done and more demonstrations have to be planned to stop this edifice being built I will exercise my right and the right of every single citizen of Dudley to express my opposition to the development of anything that does not have the people’s approval.

Councillor Malcolm Davis, UKIP.

So, to Cllr Davis, we say only this.

Sir, we salute you. God bless you.
