Toronto dad upset he’s not allowed to watch daughter’s swim class
Sharia law is already in Canada. The question is how long till one is punished by the state for observance of common law.
My guess is that has happened once or twice already.
And if they were truly multicultural, they would fill the pool with sand.

TORONTO – When a single dad signed his nine-year-old daughter up for female-only swim lessons, he didn’t realize he — as a man — was going to be banned from watching her practice.
Chris (who didn’t want his last name published) was shocked when he had the blinds to the viewing area of the Dennis R. Timbrell Recreation Centre pool in Flemingdon Park shut on him and then was told by staffers it was for “religious reasons.”
“I spoke to a staff member and she told me that it’s because of Muslim women, that we’re not allowed to look at them or whatever,” Chris, 38, told the Toronto Sun Friday. “I don’t think religion has a role to play in a public pool.”
Chris said he enrolled his daughter online through the city’s website and registered her for the Ultra Swim 1: Female class – a nine-week course offered for free at the community centre.
Nowhere on the form did it mention that males could not watch the lessons.
So, when he showed up with his child at the pool on March 28 and again on Thursday night, he was confused when told he wasn’t allowed to watch.
“She doesn’t have a lot of friends and I wanted her to swim with girls,” Chris explained. “I don’t know what parent wouldn’t want to watch their child participate. There were other fathers there who weren’t too happy.”

It simply needs to be the standard through which things are allowed, or individuals punish those who deviate from its demands. This being the case, it already is everywhere. The issue is degree and speed of delivery of sentence.

OTTAWA – Newcomers to Canada are now getting a beefed up guide to Canadian life that includes brand new chapters on the monarchy and the military.
Immigration Minister Jason Kenney says the revamped Welcome to Canada guide is also blunt about what is unacceptable in the country.
“Female genital mutilation and so-called ‘honour-based’ crimes are barbaric and will not be tolerated in Canada,” said Kenney in Vancouver. “It also informs readers that forced marriages and polygamy are illegal here.”

Saudi authorities have beheaded a murderer and crucified his body after he killed and raped a Pakistani national.
The kingdom’s interior ministry announced the execution, stating that the man had murdered and sodomised another male. Both actions are punishable by death.
‘The Yemeni citizen Mohammed Rashad Khairi Hussain killed a Pakistani, Pashteh Sayed Khan, after he committed sodomy with him,’ said a statement carried by state news agency SPA.

Hussain was also convicted of robbery and carrying out a series of attacks.
The execution, in the southern city of Jizan, was followed by crucifixion, a punishment used by the ultra-conservative country for serious crimes.

A Ukrainian women’s rights group is calling for a ‘topless revolution’ in Tunisia after a Muslim preacher demanded a girl who posted naked pictures of herself online be stoned because she is an ‘epidemic’.
FEMEN, which regularly stages high-profile naked protests, is declaring April 4 the day of ‘relentless topless jihad against Islamism’ in a bid to jump-start a new Arab Spring for women’s rights.

there has been a concerted attempt lately to try to downplay the negative aspects of sharia law in order to mainstream it’s acceptance into Western legal systems, i think it’s important to show the reality of what sharia law entails in order for a wider audience to fully grasp it’s ramifications, reading words on paper about how incompatible it is is wholly different from seeing innocent women being murdered for the slightest triviality:

The charges against the girl were brought against her last year after police investigated accusations that her stepfather had raped her and killed their baby. He is still to face trial.

The broadcaster Alan Jones could have been jailed for up to three years for labelling Lebanese Muslims ”vermin” and ”mongrels” who ”rape and pillage”, under a proposed overhaul of NSW racial vilification laws.
The criminal prosecution of a woman who racially abused the ABC newsreader Jeremy Fernandez on a Sydney bus in February might also have been possible under changes being suggested by prominent community groups.
The Jewish Board of Deputies and the NSW Community Relations Commission are pushing for a radical overhaul of the laws in submissions to a parliamentary inquiry into whether it should be easier to criminally prosecute cases of serious racial vilification.

Mr. Boom suggests in his email, and from whence I derived the headline, that this is the OIC implementing blasphemy laws in NSW by stealth. I argue that it is a dead certainty it is, as I believe Australia is a signatory to the UN bill written by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and passed by the UN without a vote demanding penalties for criticism of Islam using the totem of ‘criticism of religion’ that are genuinely punitive.

I feel I should also point out that Jewish groups who sign on to these types of anti-free speech laws, are guaranteed to get the exact opposite of what they are expecting out of them. These will be protected under freedom of religion or hidden well from public view in the mosques.

A joint Saudi committee composed of representatives of the ministries of interior, justice and health is mulling the replacement of beheading with firing squads for capital sentences due to shortages in government swordsmen, Saudi daily Al-Youm reported on Sunday.
The committee argued that such a step, if adopted, would not violate Islamic law, allowing heads – or emirs – of the country’s 13 local administrative regions to begin using the new method when needed.
“This solution seems practical, especially in light of shortages in official swordsmen or their belated arrival to execution yards in some incidents; the aim is to avoid interruption of the regularly-taken security arrangements,” the committee said in a statement.

AFP – A Swedish artist who received death threats after depicting the Prophet Mohammed as a dog said Wednesday he would display new paintings of the prophet at an exhibition in the immigrant-heavy city of Malmoe later this year.
“It’s important to continue because if you yield to the threats and back away, you have abandoned the democratic principle,” Lars Vilks said.
The artist has faced numerous death threats since his drawing of the Muslim prophet with the body of a dog was first published by Swedish regional daily Nerikes Allehanda in 2007, illustrating an editorial on the importance of freedom of expression.
