An interesting segment from the hearings on the secular values charter in Quebec.
H/T M and thank you Oz-Rita for the translation
First let me thank Susan Victoria for translating this article, as well as much material for us from the current hearings in Quebec on the secular values charter.
Below is a translation of an article on a lawsuit being brought against a man in Quebec who took a picture of a woman in a full islamic face covering. The man has already, as I understand it, fled Canada because of it.
This is a serious and important case and issue with consequences for us all. Should the case be decided against freedom of expression etc. it is a safe bet that this precedent will be used in other Western nations trying to come to terms with the same problem because of the same people.

The reporter of Les immigrants de la Capitale only wanted to capture the ‘culture clash’ and the public’s ‘bewilderment’ upon suddenly seeing a nikab.
(Québec City) A trivial matter. A veiled woman in a public area.
No incident occurred and no words were exchanged.
Had there not been a photo published along with a few lines,
there would not have been a story.
The monthly newspaper published a clean and factual account, devoid of hate, contempt and intolerance. At first glance, no harm is done.
However, publication of the photo resulted in a $150,000 lawsuit against Les immigrants de la Capitale. The case will be heard on June 5th.
The photo is the problem. A woman wearing a nikab accompanied by a bearded man in a T-Shirt and cap. Her spouse.
Except for close relatives, it would seem almost impossible to identify the couple. This issue will be decided by the Court.
However, the fundamental question raised is : Was it a matter of public interest to publish this photo? Continue Reading →
This is interesting.
First I would like to thank a lot of people who have put a lot of time into this project.
The people who compiled this video in the first place. C.B. Sashenka who worked on the translation as did Susan Victoria who hipped me to it and SIMONXML among others. Finally it was Oz-Rita who actually got it done. Thank you all. I know I can be a pest when there is a project that I feel really needs to be done in the public interest.
This video has significant people speaking (more on who later but some of these women are very brave and facing great adversity from culture enrichers) as well as the content. This is a video of a press conference on the witness intimidation many women are being subjected to, if they are muslim and in favor of the secularism charter of values being debated in Quebec at this time.
Thank you M, and Bear for this one.
Another in the series of testimonies in Quebec this week over the proposed legislation to eliminate overt religiosity in the public sphere in Quebec.
In Quebec now, the potential new charter asking for no public displays of religiosity is under hot debate in the Quebec legislature. Last night I posted one video with a link to a CBC article already and today I expect to post at least two more.
Below, is a rather blunt and almost illegally honest and direct opinion (by modern Marxist standards of course) of one man about the effects of Islam on Quebec.
S.K. Offers the following commentary on last nights video linked here:
They are uneducated people, simple people from the rural areas. They have been mocked so much, but somehow their unsophisticated views are slowly turning the public’s shame into appreciation for their testimony.
One phrase stands out: They went to Morocco for a visit and visited a mosque. They had to take off their shoes. They had never heard of this before but they did it. And then, they made them go down on hands and knees on a carpet !!!
Somehow, here in Québec, we are now doing the same thing, meaning going down on hands and knees for them…
They also spoke of a situation in the bazaar where they were hit on the right side and then, the left side, by people entirely covered in black… couldn’t tell what or who they were.
By the way, support for the Charter is increasing, up to 60% now. Should elections be held today, the P.Q. government would win with a majority !!! All because of the Charter.
Incredible the number of muslims testifying in favor of the Charter. It’s making the no-Charter people think twice.
Finally, there is one muslim woman elected to the Liberal party: Fatima Houda-Pépin. Liberal party is against the Charter. They want case by case decisions. Fatima quit the Liberal party yesterday. She is an elected member to the National Assembly under the Liberal party for at least 20 years. It’s a huge blow for the opposition.
A number of people need to be mentioned for their help on these videos.
Bare Naked Islam, Bear for the translations, C.B. Sashenka who helped edit the translations, S.K. who hipped me to several more and is doing a translation of one as well as offered additional information I put in this post.
I have been trying to follow the National Post stories on recent changes to various institutions to accommodate islamic demands to meet their religious ‘needs’. One of the stories is up to 1700 comments, a record in the experience of one seasoned Post commentator I know.
It occurs to me that as religion in a free country is 100% voluntary, that asking for others to accommodate your choices is akin to deciding to ride around in a wheelchair and then demanding that people make way for you, build ramps for you and subsidize your life because you are in a wheelchair. Of course, if a person actually did this they would be arrested for fraud and rightfully so.
But how is religious accommodation different? A person puts themselves at a disadvantage by their own choice. There is zero real world consequences to their deciding not to observe their religion, other than the reaction of their religious community. But observance in a free country is voluntary by definition of the very notion of a ‘free country’.
In fact, for religions other than Islam the entire point of making tough calls for your religious beliefs is specifically to build character by giving yourself hardships under some circumstances in order to keep yourself aware of things or humble yourself before your aspirations or deities etc. So to ask for people to make room for your choices in that case is actually a fraud against your own religion. interestingly its mostly only one religion that demands these accommodations and likely for political reasons, establishing its primacy, more than spiritual growth as one would normally make self limiting choices for religious purposes.
I would argue that islamic demands for accommodation for their purely voluntary religious ‘needs’ (desires in fact) is proof that it is not religious at all but one vector to political supremacy. It is a self proving behavior.
If you decide to peruse the comments on the National Post article about the Aikido class and the gender segregation they have now and the no need to bow to the founders, please read the comments by a former Muslim woman who taught Islamic studies for 14 years and is arguing with a Muslim who insults everyone else then accused the of Ad-hominem arguments. Search comments for ‘Saira’. She makes short shrift of the usual suspects in that comment thread. A sample below:
I was raised Muslim and this is completely untrue. Islam pretends to elevate women but in reality women are considered lower than men in everything. Men can marry multiple wives, they can beat them to discipline them, they can initiate divorce but women can’t. Women inherit 1/2 the property and their testimony is worth 1/2 of a man’s. Women are told to cover up because if they’re raped or harassed by men it’s their fault, not the man’s. Islam is a woman-hating cult. As a former Muslim, you can not fool me. You can lie to white non-Muslims, not to people like me.

1. US run by Nazi space aliens, Iran claims
WASHINGTON – Confirming the suspicions of many, the United States has been secretly run by a shadow government of German Nazi space aliens since 1945, Fars News Agency, Iran’s semi-official news agency, reported on Sunday.
In a dramatic scoop, Fars— in all seriousness— reported that revelations of mass NSA surveillance made public by Edward Snowden were actually an effort by the American-Nazi extraterrestrials to hide their nature to a human world they hoped to dominate.
(Oh those wascawy iwanians!)
2. Al-Qaida-Linked Group Secures Hold on Syrian City
Activists say an al-Qaida-linked group has pushed out rival rebels to regain full control of a provincial capital in northeastern Syria.
The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights says the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant expelled the last of its rebel opponents from the city of Raqqa on Tuesday after several days of fighting. The city is the only provincial capital in opposition hands.
3. Oxfam Promotes Anti-Semitic, Homophobic Terror Activist
Oxfam, in collaboration with the East London Mosque, is running an exhibition on the 17th January titled: ‘Gaza: Through my Eyes’, with Ibrahim Hewitt, a trustee of Hamas-linked Interpal who has called for the killing of homosexuals. Even worse: the event is due to take place in the East London Mosque, one of the most extreme platforms of hatred in Europe.
Minutes after the American consulate in Benghazi came under assault on Sept. 11, 2012, the nation’s top civilian and uniformed defense officials — headed for a previously scheduled Oval Office session with President Obama — were informed that the event was a “terrorist attack,” declassified documents show. The new evidence raises the question of why the top military men, one of whom was a member of the president’s Cabinet, allowed him and other senior Obama administration officials to press a false narrative of the Benghazi attacks for two weeks afterward.
A Nova Scotia high school student is asserting she was reduced to “second-class citizenship” after her Halifax aikido school followed provincial human rights law and accommodated a male student’s religious request not to touch his female classmates.
(What if a KKK member said they couldn’t touch black people on religious grounds. Or Jews? This is a serious problem we must address promptly and definitively. In fact we had done so, and somehow cultural-Marxism has undone the work of centuries of classical liberalism.)
Thank you Oz-Rita, Fjordman, M, Grace and all for your links tonight. More to come and interesting materials.
With Tarek Fatah on the whole issue of Islamic demands for undermining Canadian values.
How are basics being taught to Canadian kids in school?
John Robson lays out a few basic indisputable facts in terms of the Islamic refusal to make peace with Israel based on the record:
Also: Ezra Levant interviews Jason Kenny on why grants to terror supporting Islamic groups had their funding cut in Canada.
There is an old joke in the English speaking world which goes like this:
“Did you hear the one about the kid who killed his parents, then begged for mercy from the judge because he was an orphan?”
That joke in some ways is a core cultural staple of islam. You can bet he will receive all kinds of sympathy from his devout muslim buddies and even congratulations for ‘doing the right thing’ as all actions are justified by the sharia if it is for the rigorous enforcement of islamic observance and supremacy.
Thank you Bear for the translation and SK for the tip.
This murder is from 2010. I was sent the link as if it was December 16 2013. However it is back in the news as he is due back in court soon. My apologies for any confusion that results.
The Father plead guilty to manslaughter. He will be coming back to Court for sentence Feb. 1014
He admitted hitting his daughter in the face three times because, he says, she didn’t mop the kitchen floor properly… coroner can’t confirm 100% cause of death but it was due to extreme violence to the head.

They’re violent, they’re dangerous and they’ve managed to elude police.
Between them, they face a combined 35 charges, including murder, attempted murder, assault with a weapon, using a firearm to commit an offence and forcible confinement.
They are the five most wanted suspects by the Ottawa police guns and gangs unit.
“These are guys that are high-risk offenders,” said Ottawa police Staff Sgt. Mark Patterson, head of the guns and gangs unit. “Obviously, because of their charges, we want to ensure we apprehend these guys.”
All five are members or associates of street gangs.
Ahmed Zalal: The 27-year-old got hard time after pleading guilty to being the gunman in a drive-by shooting at a Walkley Rd. Tim Horton’s in 2008.
Zalal fired into a crowd standing outside, seriously injuring one man, who was hit in the chest. But it wasn’t the man Zalal had been trying to hit, court heard, as he sought revenge for the murder of his brother.
Maher Majed: High on the police radar too – the 23-year-old is wanted in connection with a deadly triple shooting. A 20-year-old man died and two others were injured after shots rang out outside a Borthwick Ave. home in March 2012.
Behzad Behruzi: This 27-year-old is wanted in for several offences, including a Dumaurier Ave. shooting this summer, where cops say shots were fired during a dispute in August.

Yes, in a town of under 200,000 people, the most important thing is a 3 story mosque with 100 foot minarets that will cost over 16M including property. It is interesting to note that the only house nearby is already for sale. I wonder how much less the owner will get for it than it was worth before this plan was approved.
Notice how they claim it will also be a community center open to the general public. Please listen to what Gavin Boby says about exactly these claims.

MONTREAL – A photo showing two daycare workers walking with children in their care in Montreal has gone viral in Quebec – all because of what the women were wearing.
The picture was allegedly snapped the afternoon of Friday, November 15, 2013 in the borough of Verdun.
After being posted on Facebook, it was shared thousands of times on social media, creating a storm of criticism. […]
(Above is the Global video with some of my observations built in. Frankly it still amazes me how nearly everyone in the media misses the point. The uniform is a declaration of an ideology that is fully unacceptable to the vast majority of Canadians if they were honest with themselves as to the nature of that ideology.)
