Sweden: Police Examine Contents Of Bomber’s Bag

Swedish police have identified the contents of the bag carried by the suspected suicide bomber involved in the Dec. 11 bombings in Stockholm, Swedish daily Aftonbladet reported. Police have confirmed the backpack contained spikes, nails and also an unidentified substance. The police examined the contents of the bag using a robot. The man had strapped six pipe bombs to his body, only one of which exploded. Witnesses said the man shouted something in a language believed to be Arabic before detonating the explosives, according to the report.

Swedish news agency TT received an email about 10 minutes before the Stockholm explosions, SVD.se reported Dec. 11. In the message, also addressed to the Swedish Security Service (SAPO), a man refers to Sweden and the Swedish people and their silence on Lars Vilks paintings and Swedish soldiers in Afghanistan, saying that “now it is your children, daughters and sisters that die same as our brothers and sisters and children who are dying.” It says the blast is an act of jihad. He ends the message with another call to action. SAPO declined to confirm or comment on the content email, which reportedly contains audio files in Swedish and Arabic.

About 10 minutes before the explosions an e-mail was sent to TT, and also to the Swedish secret services (Säpo), where a man adresses “Sweden and the Swedish people”. He refers to the Swedish silence concerning Lars Vilks’ paintings, the Swedish soldiers in Afghanistan and says that “now your children, daughters and sisters will die as our brothers and sisters and children are dying”. – Our actions will speak for themselves. As long as you continue to wage your war against Islam and insulting the prophet and your stupid support of the pig Vilks, says the man. – Whereupon he encourages all Muslims in Sweden to “stop sucking up and debasing yourselves”. He ends the message with another exhortation to “all the mujahedin in Europe and Sweden”: – Now is the time to attack, do not wait any longer. Come forward with whatever you have, even if it’s just a knife and I know you have more than just knives. Do not fear anyone, do not fear jail, do not fear death. – It is not clear from the audio files if the man speaking belongs to any organization. But he states that he has been in the Middle East and asks his family to forgive him for having lied to them. – I never went to the Middle East to work or make money, I went there for jihad, he says. – Säpo has not confirmed the contents to TT or confirmed having received the mail, which contains sound files where both Swedish and Arabic are spoken. TT has not been able to confirm that the mail is related to the explosion.
This is the first time anyone has blown himself up in Sweden, ever. To think that this is a completely random act is just silly. And now we have a jihadist e-mail, sent 10 minutes before this completely unique explosion.

UPDATE: Finnish YLE mentions gas canisters in one car and fireworks in another, but no Swede, nor Finn for that matter buys fireworks that many weeks before New Years. Car explodes in central Stockholm, 2 injured
NEWSVINE: STOCKHOLM — Two explosions shook central Stockholm on Saturday, injuring two people and causing panic, rescue officials said.
Police spokeswoman Petra Sjolander said a car exploded on Drottninggatan, a busy shopping street in the center of the city, injuring one person. Shortly afterward, a second explosion was heard higher up on the same street, and a man was found injured on the ground, she said.
Police said it was unclear what caused the second explosion. Rescue services spokesman, Roger Sverndal said the car that exploded contained gas canisters. Another rescue services spokesman, Bengt Norberg said two people had been taken to the hospital with injuries.
Gabriel Gabiro, a former AP staffer, was inside a watch store on the opposite side of the street of the second explosion when it went off and saw people running from the site.
“I saw some people crying, perhaps from the shock,” he said. “There was a man lying on the ground with blood coming out in the area of his belly, and with his personal belongings scattered around him.”
“It shook the store that I was in,” he said of the blast. “Then there was smoke and gun powder coming into the store.”

This is interesting.A called to what is probably Canada’s best traditional media, CFRA AM Radio 580 which has Lowell Green for 2 hours a day who is the most vocal and courageous about Islam and unbridled immigration and the consequences to Western Civilization as well as Nick Vandergragt and others, got this call to the John Counsell show Dec. 7th. Fortunately Counsell archives all his shows on the CFRA Web site where I downloaded it and uploaded this one call here. The video portion is pretty much meaningless except for a couple of amusing pics shopped by Tundra Tabloids that are of related matter.

CBN exposes Iranian Venezuelan nuclear axis.
Once again, CBN outdoes most of the media with an excellent expose of the nature of the relationship between Iran and Venezuela and the likely nuclear weapons program of Venezuela or at the very least, the near certainty that Venezuela is aiding Iran’s nuclear weapons program and helping him breach sanctions.
Keep an eye open on various ‘hospitals’ that Iran funds across Latin America which are reported as cancer treatment plants and in return, the nurses are asked to wear hijabs. However I believe in reality, these are facilities the Iranians use to get the special isotopes required for nuclear bomb triggers.

LONDON – Wreckage, shattered glass and debris littered London’s Parliament Square on Friday after student protests descended into a violent rampage.
Tourists coming to the heart of Britain’s democracy were instead taking pictures of the damage and statues of world leaders daubed with obscene graffiti following Thursday’s demo over a hike in university tuition fees.
Workmen were busy cleaning up after the onslaught, measuring up the smashed windows, cleaning the iconic red telephone boxes and surveying the defaced sculptures of statesmen like Winston Churchill, Nelson Mandela and Abraham Lincoln.
The iconic statue of World War II British prime minister Churchill, daubed with offensive slogans by demonstrators, stood behind a pile of twisted metal fencing.
On the ground read the message scrawled in paint: “Churchill, common gangster, traitor, killer.”
The square’s newest statue, of former South African president Mandela, had graffiti on the plinth and a rag tied around the neck.
Protesters were contained in the square in front of the Houses of Parliament for hours as lawmakers voted to pass the fees hike, which students claim will discourage people from lower-income families from going to university.
Some demonstrators blamed the disorder on the police’s “kettling” tactic of containment which blocked protesters in place for hours, while police said they had no alternative but to detain them given the level of violence witnessed.
The chaos that unfolded could also be seen at the historic Westminster Abbey, where monarchs have been crowned since 1066, and where Prince William will marry Kate Middleton in April. Wrecked sections of metal fencing lay in the grounds of the abbey.
Members of the far-right English Defence League organization had turned up to clean up the mess around the Churchill statue — at their own initiative.

NOTE: The myth of Jews and Christians living in peace in Arab/Muslim lands gets another airing here, it’s a false meme, no matter times its presented. Yes, at times, certain communities of Muslims were more tolerant of Jews and Christians, but it rested upon the ruler at the time. Depending upon how badly they needed the two minority groups to produce and help Muslim society greatly reflected on the tolerance shown.

I would very much like to see in the comments, reasoned guesses as to who did it, why, and what will happen to them if they are caught. Will their names even be published? Any other speculation would be interesting. I might add on a personal note, that in Judea and Sumeria, Muslims have smashing machines for artifacts that show any evidence of Jewish life in antiquity in those locations. Islam does not merely wish to kill all non-believers or enslave them. It does not seek merely to have political control over them. It means to obliterate the very history of all people who are not Muslim. To destroy evidence of what Koran calls, ‘The time of ignorance”.

Vandals have destroyed one of the most celebrated Christian pilgrimage sites in Britain and chopped down a tree said to have sprouted from the staff of Joseph of Arimathea 2,000 years ago.
The Holy Thorn Tree of Glastonbury, Somerset, is visited by thousands every year to pay homage and leave tokens of worship. Those visiting today were moved to tears on finding the tree cut to a stump.
The sacred tree is unique in that it blossoms twice a year – at Christmas and Easter – and sprigs taken from the thorn are sent to The Queen each year for the festive table.

Christian legend dictates that Jesus’s great uncle, Joseph of Arimathea, came to Britain after the crucifixion 2,000 years ago bearing the Holy Grail – the cup used by Christ at the Last Supper.
He visited Glastonbury and thrust his staff into Wearyall Hill, just below the Tor, planting a seed for the original thorn tree.
Roundheads felled the tree during the English Civil War, when forces led by Oliver Cromwell (pictured) waged a vicious battle against the Crown.
However, locals salvaged the roots of the original tree, hiding it in secret locations around Glastonbury.
It was then replanted on the hill in 1951. Other cuttings were also grown and placed around the town – including its famous Glastonbury Abbey.
Experts had verified that the tree – known as the Crategus Monogyna Bi Flora – originated from the Middle East.
A sprig of holy thorns was taken from the Thorn tree by Glastonbury’s St Johns Church on Wednesday and sent to the Queen.
The 100-year-old tradition will see the thorns sit on Her Majesty’s dinner table on Christmas Day
