While SUN TV has the guts to go farther than most in discussing the reasons for the Ecole Polytechnique shooting of 14 women by a Canadian Muslim because he didn’t believe women should be educated, they still avoid the truth. A truth that is so obvious that even the information on Wikipedia about Mr. Lapine, not his real name, he was born, Gamil Rodrigue Liass Gharbi, and his Algerian jihadi father gives you enough information to work out why he killed all those women being educated about secular matters like engineering and science.
2. The discussion about climatology is no longer about science whatsoever and is now the domain of law fare. No wonder the left likes islam so much. They feel the same way with people who reason and ask questions.
3. One university in Ontario has a dedicated prayer room for only one religion. I wonder which one?

When we published the Islamic State propaganda video yesterday about the taking of a city of over 1.8 million people, Kobani, and the American propaganda saying that they had been repelled, I had mixed feelings about it. I wasn’t sure what was true and what to say about it all other than if it is true, it mattered.
Ezra did a rather good job of discussing many aspects of this exact issue today.
I suspect that their captured British journalist, captured for the second time in a row, John Cantlie, has been turned.

We posted a video yesterday which was a segment from a 2006 Radio-Canada documentary about a specific mosque in Montreal, which is about as much of a beachhead as a building can be, and Trudeau’s association with it.
Today, Ezra Levant at SUN News offers a great deal of clarity on this matter.

As a personal aside, I find Trudeau’s speech saying tolerance is not enough to be the epitome and essence of fascism and totalitarianism. It is the basic reasoning of the enactment and subsequent enforcement of all thought crimes.
Asking people in a democracy to tolerate the other as Trudeau defines it, is democratic. That all of us have to live together and while we may find each other’s views, religions or various practices of any nature to be anything from wonderful to repugnant we should tolerate them in so much as they do not directly affect us, and yet should still be free to voice our views on them as that is how societies move forwards.
But to expect people to pretend to embrace these views rather than tolerate them, how is that different than sharia which demands one accept islam as supreme and unquestionably true under pain of death? And that, even if Mr. Trudeau is on the side of liberal democracy, is the reason why Islam is itself repugnant and not that we disagree with it. We disagree with many things yet tolerate them so long as those things do not seek to exterminate us for our disagreement.
Mr. Trudeau’s allegiance to Western Liberal democracy however, does seem to be somewhat unclear.

Once upon a time in Canada, the truth was an absolute defense in a court of law. I would bet the establishment still has those pretenses. I doubt highly that it is still the case. But for Ezra’s sake, lets all hope it still is.
