Parents Against Child Sexual Exploitation (Pace) says “thousands” of children are affected and police forces lack skills to deal with such abuse.
A report into child sexual exploitation in Rotherham found at least 1,400 children were abused over two decades.
The National Child Protection Working Group says police are dealing with an “unprecedented” number of abuse cases.
Child sexual exploitation can take place when a young person is manipulated by an adult into sex following a process of “grooming”, involving being given gifts and being distanced from their parents.
Children may then be sexually assaulted by networks of adults over a number of years and can be shamed or intimidated out of reporting the crime.
Pace specialises in helping parents whose children have been sexually exploited.
Its director Fleur Strong told BBC Radio 4’s Today programme that “a significant number” of families were currently trying to cope with a child being sexually exploited….”
I guess these guys were just some innocent taxi drivers working in Pakistans FATA and got apprehended by accident…
“Five men who were held for a dozen years without charge at the U.S. Navy base at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, have been sent to the Central Asian nation of Kazakhstan for resettlement, the U.S. government announced.
The two men from Tunisia and three from Yemen had been cleared for release from the prison by a government task force but could not be sent to their homelands. The U.S. has sent hundreds of prisoners from Guantanamo to third countries but this is the first time Kazakhstan has accepted any for resettlement.
Their release brings the prison population at Guantanamo to 127, according to a Pentagon statement on Tuesday.
The U.S. identified the Tunisians as 49-year-old Adel Al-Hakeemy, and Abdallah Bin Ali al Lufti, who military records show is about 48.
The Yemenis are Asim Thabit Abdullah Al-Khalaqi, who is about 46; Muhammad Ali Husayn Khanayna, who is about 36; and Sabri Mohammad al Qurashi, about 44.
All five had been captured in Pakistan and turned over to the U.S. for detention as suspected Islamic militants with ties to al-Qaeda. None of the men were ever charged and a government task force determined it was no longer necessary to hold them.
The U.S. does not say why they could not be sent home but the government has been unwilling to send Yemenis to their country because of unrest and militant activity there while in the past some Tunisians have feared persecution.
Nearly 30 prisoners have been resettled in third countries this year as part of President Barack Obama’s renewed push to close the detention center over opposition from Congress.”

Why blow up buildings? This is great!
One way to look at the suppression of Chrtistianity by Western governments , is that it will arouse anger within the larger body politic. Ditto the other way, as regards Islam.
We can debate whether this policy is official. I argue that this policy is deliberate in the entire Western world. Therefore it cannot be coincidence. Sneeze against a Koran, and you will be in court on hate charges. However Muslims kills policemen, soldiers and others, shouting Allahu akhbar, and the government and the MSM will rush to convince us that the Jihadi has no understanding of Islam, the act “has nothing to do with Islam”, and the Jihadi does not represern Islam, but is in fact has a history of mental instability.
When this happens once, one can accept it as coincidence, but when it happens everytime, and in every Western copuntry, then it has to be coordinated policy in time of war.
Therefore -One way to look at the suppression of Chrtistianity, is that it will arouse anger within the larger body politic. Ditto the other way as regards Islam.
The policy that Western nations are pursuing is to arouse sympathy for the Chrfistian faith, and hatred of Islam.
Islam cannot triumph, as evil can never triumph.
