U.S. pulls out of U.N.’s controversial “Durban III” Summit
Some good news. U.N. Watch actually praises the US for something.

UN Watch congratulates the United States for announcing today that it will stay away from the UN’s upcoming 10th anniversary commemoration of the 2001 Durban conference, a supposed anti-racism gathering that turned into a global festival of hate. The government of Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper was the first to announce it would not participate, followed by Israel. UN Watch obtained a copy of the following letter sent today by the US State Department to Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, who in December led a coalition of 18 senators calling on the Obama Administration to follow Canada’s lead and pull out.

This is an older clip, at least a few years now. But as channels such as my Seven Load, and Youtube channels get ripped down frequently as does the good and noble KitmanTV‘s venues as well, I thought it was worth the time and effort to upload this speech by David Horowitz where he exposes a lot of the rot at Duke U in terms of communist and Islamist infiltration, to a location that is somewhat more secure. This is highly entertaining and worth the time for those who have not already seen it. I am on my third viewing at this moment.

The Bin Laden backlash: Angry Muslims demonstrate outside Downing Street as Obama visits Britain

Muslim activists descended on Downing Street today in protest at Barack Obama’s state visit to London.
As the president met David Cameron in Whitehall, an angry crowd of burka clad women as well as protesters from Muslims Against Crusades gathered on the streets outside.
They were joined by a number of prominent campaigners, including Anjem Choudary.The radical cleric said that President Obama has made himself a ‘legitimate target’ for Muslim extremists after the killing of Osama bin Laden.
He called for Mr Obama to be dragged before a sharia court over his role in the war in Afghanistan.

PALM BAY, Fla. — A 21-year-year-old woman faces hate-crime charges after she repeatedly spit at a Walmart customer who told her she entered the wrong door and later proclaimed that “Americans are pushing us around,” according to police.Nuha Mohammed Al-Doaifi, a Saudi Arabian national, faces a charge of battery with a hate-crime enhancement after Palm Bay police were called about 1 p.m. Sunday to the Walmart at 1040 Malabar Road to investigate reports of a disturbance.The hate-crime enhancement means that the battery charge could be elevated to a felony.Police said the incident started when Al-Doaifi attempted to roll a shopping cart into the store and struck the exit door.

Miami (CNN) — Two South Florida imams and a third family member were arrested Saturday on charges of providing support to the Pakistani Taliban, the Justice Department said.
In addition, three others in Pakistan were also indicted on the same charges.
FBI agents arrested Hafiz Khan and his son Izhar Khan in South Florida, the department said. They are expected to make their initial court appearance in federal court Monday. Continue Reading →

Two arrested in NYC synagogue attack plot sting
NEW YORK – Two men trying to buy weapons including AK 47s and hand grenades as part of a plot to attack Manhattan synagogues were arrested in New York City, averting a terror threat, law enforcement sources said.
This is the 13th plot thwarted against the city since the Sept. 11.
The men were arrested last night in Midtown Manhattan as part of a police operation that had begun prior to Osama bin Laden’s death and was not a result of any retaliatory plan, sources said.
While the suspects talked about attacking synagogues in Manhattan no specific synagogue had been targeted.
They will be charged under the New York state’s anti-terror laws and will appear in court today.
Federal prosecutors are aware of the case but declined to charge them under federal terrorism laws.
The two men, at least one of whom was a muslim of North African descent, had already obtained some guns and were trying to buy more more, as well as a grenade.
Their attempts were detected by investigators with the NYPD’s Intelligence Division, who moved in to set up a sting.
One of the men, in his 20s, lives in Queens. That man was apparently going to sell drugs to buy the guns. He has prior arrests, including for drug possession.
Mayor Bloomberg and Police Commissioner Ray Kelly are expected to discuss the arrests this afternoon at City Hall.

Feds investigating Ga. mosque decision
ALPHARETTA, Ga. — The Justice Department said it is investigating whether the city of Alpharetta violated federal law last year when it denied a zoning request last year from a mosque that is seeking to expand.
A Justice Department spokesman said Friday the agency is investigating whether the north Atlanta suburb violated a 2000 law designed to protect religious groups involved in land disputes when it rejected a request by the Islamic Center of North Georgia to expand its facility.
The city officials declined to comment on Friday.
The Alpharetta City Council voted 6-0 in May 2010 to reject plans by the center to tear down its worship house and construct two new buildings. The decision has prompted legal complaints from the Islamic Center and its supporters.
