If you give them an inch, they really will be your ruler. “How sickening will Sweden get?”

Gatestone Inst:

Their gamble is that if we give the Organization of Islamic Cooperation just a little something — just a “harmless” little law — then we might all just be able to get along. But for every inch of encouragement the free nations of the world give the OIC, the more Reza Jabbaris we sacrifice — and a million more free-thinking souls.

How to deal with one madman is tricky enough, but how do you rectify things if the whole world has gone mad? Take Sweden and its apparent determination to deport Reza Jabbari back to his native Iran, most likely to be killed for having converted from Islam to Christianity.

First, there is the growing phenomenon of individuals being targeted for retribution if they have been seen to “insult” Islam. In particular there is the terrible recent case of Lars Hedegaard, who was targeted by an assassin at his home in Denmark earlier this month. The larger tapestry that hangs behind incidents such as the attempted assassination of Lars Hedegaard, Kurt Westergaard and others, however, is not just the attempt to silence a few brave voices, but the attempt to silence an entire planet. I refer of course to the attempt to criminalize – around the world – any speech which is deemed to be offensive to Islam.

JEDDAH — Getting the go-ahead from the Cairo Islamic Summit, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has been actively trying to get the denigration of religions recognized as a criminal offense, according to a top official.

“Next session of the Istanbul Process on Islamophobia will be held in the first half of this year, and the session will squarely focus on the issue of criminalizing denigration of religions,” said Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, director of cultural affairs at the OIC general secretariat and spokesman for the OIC secretary general.

Interview with Ekmeleddin ?hsano?lu, Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation

We post and are involved with a lot of videos at Vlad Tepes and with varying degrees of importance.

This one should be watched by all. Regular readers of this and similar sites will be able to read between the lines quite well and it will probably anger you a great deal. But this needs to be seen.

Full transcript below the fold. More here at GoV

To understand the importance of this, watching Stephen Coughlin’s brief on the OIC is very useful.

Bug in newest update of WordPress

Just a heads up. It seems as if video embeds do not work easily now. It seems to take 2 or more attempts to get a video to show up in a post, which is a problem that appeared with the newest update of WP. So there may be titles appearing referring to something not in the post.

If you see that please point it out in the comments and I will go back and try and fix it.

I am typically working on posts by editing, cleaning up audio, or subtitling videos when not posting to this site and these activities take hours of time and all my concentration. (If I was a person inclined to drugs I would be visiting a Ritalin dealer weekly.) so I don’t always notice that a post went wrong, especially when I am used to WP working pretty much perfectly all the time.

Advice to WP developers: “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”

Thanks for your patience and understanding. Meanwhile, I am working on a video of Stephen Coughlin questioning board members of the OIC in the US yesterday. The video was very low volume and noisy, so cleaning it up left some ‘artifacts’ and not all the speech was clear. But you can certainly get the sense of the OIC avoiding Maj. Coughlin’s questions. I hope to have a version of that ready in an hour or so and a much better one tonight.

U.N. Conference Slyly Introduces Resolution to Gain Control of Internet—in Middle of Night

This will of course, be the means by which Muslim countries will gain control of internet content to avoid exposing Islam for what it is. Once the UN can vote on it, then the OIC, a 53+ member body can sway the vote its way fairly easily.

Both the UN, and Islam has to go for basic human liberty to continue.

The government of Turkey, actually worse than Disney!

I think most people are aware now that if anyone was to use Disney owned fictional characters without specific permission, whether it is on clothing or jewelry or even drawing your own cartoon with them you will hear from Disney’s lawyers at hypersonic speeds. And a good case can be made that this is OK actually. Disney either spent a ton of money and work developing and promoting these characters or buying them from the people/companies who did.

Turkey however, seems to have taken it upon itself to regulate how any and all religious characters in the (originally) Jewish and Christian pantheon are portrayed and have taken the Simpsons to court for defamation of religion.

This, is a much more serious matter than it sounds. This is part of the incremental process of forcing Islamic values on the world, much like the Egyptian judgment condemning 8 people, many of whom not even in Egypt, to death for blasphemy/defamation of religion. This was covered Dec 1 in our interview with Stephen Coughlin on this exact matter.

This will not end here. In fact it has just begun. This will progress, if allowed by the rest of us, till Muslims control the way all religion and religious icons/archetypes and avatars are represented anywhere. The issue is not that sharia and Islamic values apply to us. It does. The issue is whether or not they can enforce it wherever it is you happen to live.

At this link is a video depicting the ‘offending’ Simpsons clip with some analysis.

Vladtepesblog wins coveted OIC ISLAMOPHOBIA AWARD for 2012

First, I would just like to thank my fans and readers who, without your support and comments none of this would have been possible. I don’t have the words to express how honoured I was to find out that my humble efforts to assist the causes of truth, and secular liberalism actually made the highest possible award in the field, the OIC Islamophobia report, even if the reason stated was utter nonsense as Breivik never mentioned me once.

I have so many people to thank though, as this is not an individual effort. It took all of you, reading and commenting and searching for this site for it to come to their attention. It was all the people who tip me daily with information of course, links and news, EDL Buck, Richard, Gates of Vienna, Martin, Fjordman, Don L and many many more as well as all those who comment  here.

It was all the fantastic hard working translators such as Bear, Michael Laudahn, DarLink and many more who do not wish any accreditation and some who I just don’t remember right now.

l I just want to say thank you all for helping this humble site achieve such a great honour from the OIC, the proto-caliphate, the group who work 3 shifts a day to try and destroy all the most important components of Western civilization such as freedom of speech, freedom of conscience, pluralism, and reason as the basis of judgement in law and legislation.

And I promise you all, that so long as I am able, I will work as hard as I can in whatever ways are possible to continue to undermine and expose their efforts and preserve the enlightenment to whatever extent, that with your help, I am able.

State Dept. Official to Attend OIC Meeting Today on Banning ‘Defamation of Islam’ UPDATE: OIC scrubs website, screenshot added, cover-up begins

Pajamas Media:

November 18, 2012 – 11:18 pm

UPDATE: Well, that didn’t last long. Earlier this morning before I posted this item the OIC press release noted that US Consul General in Jeddah Anne Casper would be attending the OIC’s meeting:

The Session will be attended by Prof. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, the OIC Secretary General. It will be chaired by Ambassador Ahmad Taib , Director General of the Branch of the Saudi Foreign Ministry, Makkah Al-Mukarrammah region. It will also be attended by Sergey Kuznetsov, Consul General of the Russian Federation and Anne Casper, US Consul General in Jeddah.

But within the past few hours that mention has been scrubbed. The press release I linked to earlier now reads:

Muslim leaders say call for global ban on anti-Islam ‘hate speech’ is not attack on free speech

The OIC and The Muslim Brotherhood play their next card at last. I hope its as transparent to everyone else as it is to anyone reading this site.

We as a people are our values and our freedoms are utterly dependent on the fear-free (at least from our own leaders and institutions of state) ability to mock, insult, criticize and limit authority and religious authority and irrational religious authority most of all.

As a people, this must be our red line.

From The National Post:

Eduardo Munoz/Reuters

Eduardo Munoz/Reuters Algeria’s Foreign Minister Mourad Medelci addresses the United Nations General Assembly in New York, Sept. 29, 2012. “Why is it when Muslims are stigmatized and defamed, it is defended as ’freedom of expression’?,” he asked.

Algeria demanded new efforts Saturday to limit freedom of expression to prevent denigrating attacks on Islam, appealing to the United Nations to take a lead as nations engaged in new debate on the tensions between free speech and religious tolerance.

In an address to the General Assembly, Algeria’s foreign minister Mourad Medelci called for global action under the auspices of the United Nations to respond to violent demonstrations provoked by a U.S.-produced video that mocks Muslims and the Prophet Muhammad.

While Medelci didn’t offer precise details of how he believed the UN could intervene, his call follows similar demands at the General Assembly from scores of leaders in the Muslim world who want new laws to ban insults against Islam.

Stephen Coughlin predicted all of this:

Please note this paragraph from the Post article:

On the sidelines of the annual forum, Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, secretary general of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, in an interview with The Associated Press Saturday, called for a global ban on offending the character of the Prophet Muhammad, saying that it should be equated with hate speech.

This will be a sticky post and short of war with Iran, it will likely be the only post for today. I know few people will have the time to watch them all but book mark this page and try and watch them over time. UN staff jailed in Burma

A court in Burma has sentenced two United Nations workers to prison terms for their alleged involvement in a spate of bloody communal violence in the west of the country in June.

The punishments were handed down on Friday in the Rakhine state town of Maungdaw, said Aye Win, a UN spokesman based in Burma. One of those sentenced was an employee of the UN refugee agency and the other the UN World Food Programme.

A spokesperson for the world body’s refugee agency in Bangkok, Vivian Tan, called the verdicts “very disappointing”.

Tan said a third aid worker employed by another unidentified humanitarian group working with the UN was also convicted.

UN officials said they had no details on the official charges.

The Burma independent newspaper Weekly Eleven reported that the staff members – all believed to be from the local Muslim community – were charged with crimes including promoting hatred between Buddhists and Muslims and participation in arson attacks. The paper cited anonymous court sources in its report, and said the sentences ranged from two to six years.

If I ran the OIC, how would I use that to influence the UN?

Well we already know how the Organization of Islamic Cooperation is using the UN to destroy freedom of speech, most importantly the freedom to criticize, and be free from, irrational religious authority, specifically Islamic through the Istanbul process.

But how more directly?

Well. Let’s say that Muslims had an ongoing campaign of murder, terror and tactical attacks against a neighboring non-Muslim area or nation. Lets say that they were slowly gaining ground and forcing out the indigenous people, or subjugating them to Islamic will and laws. Then I would make sure the UN did not see this as a conflict that required their attention and make sure it continued. However once the Islamic forces made some real headway and had established themselves to a degree and once the locals finally figured that the cost of fighting back was lower than the cost of doing nothing or waiting for authority, even the perceived costs, then I would insist that the UN step in and guarantee the new Islamic dominance of that area.

Anyway just some idle thoughts about what I would do if I ran the OIC.

Meanwhile, in Thailand:

From The Bangkok Post:

South ‘may be lost if UN intervenes’, army general warns

Thailand might lose the deep South if the United Nations is allowed to intervene and help end the violence in the region, deputy army chief Daopong Rattanasuban said on Friday.

“We have not lost our land yet, but if we’re complacent and let the UN intervene and hold a referendum, then we’re finished,” Gen Daopong said.

“We won’t let this happen and we’ll fight it to the death, but our Muslim brothers and sisters have to understand us because we’re fighting against a small percentage of people who are using guerrilla warfare tactics.”

Gen Daopong Rattanasuban (File Photo)

The insurgents wanted to get villagers on their side by telling them that the government and Thai Buddhists are evil, discriminating and unjust and that officials are using excessive force, he said.

However, 90 per cent of the two million Thai Muslims were well aware of the situation.

The problem in the South was sensitive because it involves religion. Officials needed to be patient and have a good understanding. Fortunately, Thai Muslims understand and the army is trying to gain their trust, he said.

The southern militants, after failing to mislead the villagers, tried to instill fear by setting off bombs and murdering security officers at random, he said.

Turkish head of the OIC explains its time to get serious about Islamic take over

In the ‘Resistance is futile’ category, OIC chairman explains that he is tired of hijacking multi-faith conferences people objecting to being subjected to the sharia worldwide. That its time to take action on ‘islamophobia’.

Again, for those who followed the OIC brief by Maj Coughlin, they would see how the date of this video, Jun 28, 2011, conforms quite well with his timeline for OIC influence operations and plans to do an end run around, for one thing, the US 1st amendment.
