White house considers domestic terrorism, ‘work place accidents’?
Long time readers of Vlad may remember that some time ago, I did a video, one of my first ever actually, asking that people write their representatives in DC asking that Private Long be given a purple heart at the least as he was clearly killed while in the line of duty by an enemy of the USA. The white house of course refuses to see his murder/killing as an act of war, even though the person who did it was a religious Muslim who did it in the name of Jihad.
I guess that purple heart is still a ways away depending on who wins in 2012. Let’s hope it is someone who is willing to admit who the enemy is and what their ideological motives are.
I will try and find that video, now removed from youtube and put it back up here.
Announcing: JIHAD AWARENESS MONTH
The latest video from the Christian apologetics ninjas over at AnsweringMuslims.com is a joy to behold. It contains the usual combination of precise and irrefutable scholarship with their unique sense of humour, but this time it’s also a little different.
There’s a really pro-active tone of positivity and empowerment here: watch right to the end to pick up some really useful tips on how you can take positive steps this month (symbolic in its Judeo-Christian festivities of all that is best about Western Civilization) to combat ignorance of Islam.
This guidance follows a characteristically brilliant deconstruction of the utterly mad rhetoric on Islam now coming out of the Obama administration, which just today classified the Fort Hood massacre as “workplace violence”!
To quote from Dr David Wood in the video:
The Anti-American dreamteam then [i.e extremists and the liberal establishment] consists almost entirely of cowards and morons: the ONLY way we could ever be defeated by a force like that, is if we do absolutely nothing.

TMR latest to refrain from religious decorations
The giant Christmas tree outside TMR City Hall is acceptable, but the religious symbols are out.
Updated: Mon Dec. 05 2011 8:29:49 AM
‘Tis the season for holiday decorations – and holiday controversies.
A group of Muslims living in TMR asked town officials if Islamic symbols could be added to the holiday display at city hall.
Instead, town officials decided to remove everything except a Christmas tree.
The decision, intended to keep from offending anyone, is not sitting well with some residents.
“I think it’s dreadful,” said one TMR resident. “I was born in the town. I remember that since I was little. I don’t think they should remove that at all.”
Mayor Philippe Roy said the move was in response to a request from a local Muslim group who wanted Islamic symbols displayed at City Hall as well. Continue Reading →
How Muslims enforce sharia law in infidel lands well before it becomes the actual law
This story likely has happened to many of us in one way or another already.
Two nearly random news stories from Ontario Nov 24 2011
Was just randomly recording from a device I was testing. I got these two stories within about 20 minutes. ‘Interesting’ I thought.
Slain girl desperate to leave home.
The more Islam a place has, the less free, the more dangerous, and generally more barbaric any location will be. The evidence for this is so absolutely overwhelming that sometimes the act of blogging it seems preposterously insulting to the intelligence. Nonetheless, political correctness has caused so many really decent and good people to selectively edit their own perception in order to fit the narratives of multiculturalism (an oxymoron if ever there was one) and notions of criticism of culture or religiously inspired behaviors as somehow ‘racist’, that it is necessary to continue to post this material. Add this story to the one below on Dagestan and it is not that hard to extrapolate.
More Islam = more horror. That is what Islam insists on. Because when your religion teaches that the only sure way to a paradisiacal after life is death while fighting against ‘un-believers’ then when can you ever really stop fighting? at what stage? Eventually you have to fight people of other sects or those you can accuse of not being sufficiently devout or impure of thought.

The girl also told Fortin that her mother, Tooba, responded to the suicide attempt by saying, “Let her do what she wants. Let her die.”
Court heard about a number of problems the Shafia children were having at Antoine-de Saint-Exupery school in the spring 2009.
Fortin said Sahar told her about being physically disciplined by her older brother, Hamed, and being alienated by her family in the home.
She was also unhappy about having to wear the hijab, a veil that would cover her hair in the Muslim tradition.
That same month, Sahar’s sister, Geeti, 13, told her teachers she wanted to be removed from the Shafia home and put into foster care. Continue Reading →
Polygamy decision extends beyond isolated B.C. commune, observers say
H/T Bear
From Yahoo News:
VANCOUVER – The self-described fundamentalist Mormons in Bountiful, B.C., have shaped the debate over Canada’s anti-polygamy law, but an imminent court ruling could have implications extending far beyond the boundaries of the isolated community.
Observers say if a B.C. Supreme Court judge strikes down all or part of the Criminal Code section banning polygamy in a ruling Wednesday, it will have a major impact on Canada’s immigration system, certain minority communities, and could make this country a haven for polygamists.
At the same time, a group of so-called polyamorists, who describe themselves as consenting adults in relationships that happen to involve more than two people, worry they could be targeted if the law is upheld.
The competing interests underscore the complexities of a case that has tested the boundaries of religious freedom, the definition of marriage and the role of criminal laws in regulating morality.
“It (Bountiful) is a very small community, with a small number of people who happen to have the highest profile, but I suspect that, if not polygamy per se, various types of multi-person relationships exist all over the place,” said Ron Skolrood, a Vancouver-based constitutional lawyer who wasn’t involved in the case.
“I think the court has to be mindful of that and has to be careful at looking at the context broader than just Bountiful.”
The B.C. government asked the court to examine the constitutionality of the polygamy law following the failed prosecution of two leaders from Bountiful.
The subsequent trial heard from a range of academic experts, former polygamists and current plural wives, and most of the evidence focused on Bountiful and the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, or the FLDS, to which the community belongs.
There was, however, some evidence about polygamy outside of Bountiful, though its prevalence is difficult to quantify.
There are believed to be hundreds of polygamous marriages in Canada involving Muslims. Aly Hindi, an imam in Scarborough, Ont., told The Canadian Press earlier this year that he was aware of more than 200 such marriages in Toronto alone, including a number in which he has officiated. Tempers flare at meeting on Toronto school’s Muslim prayer sessions
By Tristin Hopper
The National Post:
TORONTO • What was advertised as a “discussion” on the issue of Muslim prayers at a Toronto school quickly turned into an emotionally charged speaker’s corner Monday night.
The prayers are conducted every Friday for about 45 minutes in the cafeteria of Valley Park Middle School. The measure was introduced as a matter of convenience since Muslim students — who make up 90% of the student body at the grades 6 to 8 school — were leaving class on Friday afternoons to walk to a nearby mosque.
The prayers are not conducted by a religious leader, but by the students themselves, the superintendent of inclusive schools for the Toronto District School Board told those in attendance at Monday’s meeting. It was held across the street from Valley Park, at Marc Garneau Collegiate on Overlea Boulevard.

“We have not heard one dissenting voice from within the school,” Jim Spyropoulos said.
Nevertheless, after the issue was made public during the summer, the 45-minute prayer session prompted protests outside district headquarters and letters trickled in “from across North America,” said Mr. Spyropoulos. “I don’t think there’s too many issues that have engendered the passion that this one has,” he said.
The meeting of about 40 to 50 people was meant as a community discussion, but some attendees were eager to talk about an anonymously printed pamphlet titled “Segregation in Toronto Public Schools” — a reference to the practice of separating boys and girls during prayer sessions. Continue Reading →

NYC terror suspect in court
Here is a short, under 2 minute, video of Osama Husain, the NYC terror suspect, in court.
For those who have not seen the whole press conference of yesterday evening in NYC with Mayor Bloomberg, I recommend doing it. It was, unlike some of the federal media coverage of it, not sanitized of references to the inspiring ideology or the people he admired or the motive. In that, this 26 minute video is quite refreshing as there is little sense that anyone is misinforming you for the purpose of a narrative.
NYC Mayor holds press conference on most recent Islamic terror attempt
A Muslim convert calling himself, ‘Osama Husain’ wanted to kill as many Americans as he could, and nearly killed quite a few.
(The first minute has some small sound issues that clear up by the end of the first minute.)
This is especially interesting given the video a few posts down:
Below, the CNN video of the same conference. I like to have my own in case there is any editing or if it disappears.
