World muslim leader sends warning to dutch politician Geert Wilders

Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad also praises Queen Beatrix

During a recent visit to Holland, the world Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat, Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, issued a stark warning to Geert Wilders, the far-right Dutch politician. He warned Wilders that if he continued to defame Islam and the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) then he and other like-minded individuals would be humiliated by God Almighty.

Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad said that Wilders had exceeded all limits of falsehood and hatred in his opposition towards Islam. He said Wilders was motivated solely by a desire to further his own political ambitions and so the time had come to warn him about the consequences of his actions. He said that irrespective of whether Wilders gained further political capital in the short term, ultimately his antics would lead only towards abject failure and humiliation.

Addressing Wilders directly, Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad said:

“Listen carefully – You, your party and every other person like you will ultimately be destroyed. But the religion of Islam and the message of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) will remain forever. No worldly power, no matter how powerful and no matter how much hatred they bear towards Islam, will ever succeed in erasing our religion.”

His Holiness explained that the destruction of such individuals would be achieved through prayer alone and not by any worldly means. He said:

“Always remember, that we can achieve nothing without prayer. We have no worldly power, nor will we ever use any worldly force. But the prayers of people whose hearts have been grieved are enough to shake the Heavens.”

Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad also spoke of the many decent people who continued to live in Holland and who rejected wholeheartedly the extremist views perpetuated by Wilders. His Holiness said that all such people who care for the feelings of one another and who believe in religious freedom should come together and launch a campaign for peace in the world. Geert Wilders Slams OIC on Out-of-Bounds Criticism of Free Speech

And that Islamic genuine apartheid is alive, well and widely systemic. That Christian prayers are not allowed by law in the Hagia Sophia, arguably the world seat of reason and one of the three original homes of Christianity as well as the place that the Muslims stole pretty much all of the ‘iconic’ (pun fully intended) architectural devices which we associate with Islam, but are really the invention of the ancient Greeks. So the notion of Muslims claiming that the rest of us are ‘Islamophobic’ for pointing any of this out is highly emetic to say the least.

The truth is illegal as so many futurists suspected it would be.

Time to free Constantinople and Yathrib from genuine multi-century siege and apartheid.

Organization of Islamic Cooperation calls on Dutch PM to rein in Geert Wilders, branding his speech anti-Islamic. Wilders says OIC lecturing hypocritical.

 

Geert Wilders, leader of the Dutch Freedom Party, is calling on the government of the Netherlands to reject the Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s attempt to control free speech there. On July 6, 2011, Wilders prepared a list of seven questions for Parliament in response to the OICs recent statement urging the Dutch government to act to suppress Wilders speech because it is anti-Islamic.

Wilders was acquitted on June 23, 2011, on all charges of hate-speech and inciting discrimination against Muslims by a Dutch court. The decision was seen as a landmark decision supporting the right to freedom of speech.

THE HAGUE, 09/07/11 – The cabinet is rejecting calls by the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to muzzle Party for Freedom (PVV) leader Geert Wilders.

‘The Dutch Government will continue to reject any call to gag a politician. The Netherlands enjoys freedom of expression and attaches great value to it,” accordign to Foreign Minister Uri Rosenthal. He was responding on the ministry’s website to a call from the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to “contain the campaign of hatred and incitement” by Party for Freedom (PVV) leader Geert Wilders.

“To prevent any misunderstanding the Dutch government wants to make clear that Mr Wilders is not a part of the government,” stated Rosenthal. “It is well known that the government takes a different view of Islam from the PVV. The government considers Islam a religion and the Netherlands respects freedom of religion.”

Yesterday was a beautiful day for freedom of speech in the Netherlands. An Amsterdam court acquitted me of all charges of hate speech after a legal ordeal that lasted almost two years. The Dutch people learned that political debate has not been stifled in their country, and they learned they are still allowed to speak critically about Islam and that resistance against Islamization is not a crime.

I was brought to trial despite being an elected politician and the leader of the third-largest party in the Dutch parliament. I was not prosecuted for anything I did, but for what I had said. My view on Islam is that it is not so much a religion as a totalitarian political ideology with religious elements. While there are many moderate Muslims, Islam’s political ideology is radical and has global ambitions. I expressed these views in newspaper interviews, op-ed articles and in my 2008 documentary, “Fitna.”

I was dragged to court by leftist and Islamic organizations that were bent not only on silencing me but on stifling public debate. My accusers claimed that I deliberately “insulted” and “incited discrimination and hatred” against Muslims. The Dutch penal code states in its articles 137c and 137d that anyone who either “publicly, verbally or in writing or image, deliberately expresses himself in any way that incites hatred against a group of people” or “in any way that insults a group of people because of their race, their religion or belief, their hetero- or homosexual inclination or their physical, psychological or mental handicap, will be punished.”

Wilders cleared of all charges.

It has been several hours and many commenters have already announced the news, along with countless blogs and websites. I chose not to yet. The reason is, I do not understand the Dutch legal system which from what I have seen so far, is far afield from anything I am used to such as the Canadian, US or British systems. The very notion that the prosecutors in the previous incarnation of the Wilders trial had decided the charges were phony at best and political at worst and decided to drop it, only to have the ‘crown’ (I presume it is called the crown as they have a monarchy there) or the chief prosecutors office decide to retry him on the pathetic excuse that his previous objection to the trial, an objection Wilders attourney had made long before, was biased as were the judges etc.

The crown did not accept this objection until it was obvious that Wilders would win his case. Then suddenly it mattered.

So I am not celebrating this as a victory as I have no idea if it is one yet. More research is needed on this. I am posting now because one thing I read was, ‘No further prosecution on this matter is possible’ or words to that effect. In that case this really is a win. Unless they reframe the charges and try again.

We will know at the latest when Geert Wilders releases his much anticipated sequel to Fitna, Fitna II.

Right-wing populist Geert Wilders has been cleared of all charges.

A Dutch court on Thursday acquitted controversial right-wing populist politician Geert Wilders on all charges relating to anti-Islamic statements he made in his films and on the Internet. The court said Wilders’ comments had been part of a legitimate public debate.

After nearly six months, a trial against Dutch firebrand Geert Wilders ended Thursday in Amsterdam. A court acquitted the right-wing populist politician on charges of incitement, racial hatred and discrimination against Muslims.

In his verdict, leading judge Marcel van Oosten said that, while Wilders’ statements were indeed offensive to Muslims, they were also part of the legitimate political debate. Wilders’ claim that Islam is a violent religion and his demands for an immigration ban for Muslims had to be viewed in the context of the larger societal debate about immigration policies, the judge argued. He said the statements could not be directly blamed for increasing levels of discrimination against Dutch Muslims.

 

Wilders’ supporters greeted the ruling, and the politician himself smiled as he left the courtroom.

Comparing the Koran to ‘Mein Kampf’

The politician had been on trial since October 2010 because he compared the Koran with Adolf Hitler’s “Mein Kampf” in Internet forums and in “Fitna” , a film he made that was extremely critical of Islam. In his closing statement, Wilders said that his controversial statements against Islam were protected by the right to free speech. Wilders said he believed the process of Islamization presents a threat to Europe and that it is his right and duty to warn the public about it.

 

If he had been convicted, Wilders could have faced up to one year in jail or a fine of up to €7,600 ($10,865). At the peak of the controversy over his statements, Wilders was once even banned from entering the United Kingdom.

 

After making strong gains in elections in the Netherlands last summer, Wilders’ party has become the third strongest in parliament. Although it is not technically part of the government, Wilders party supports the minority government, which is comprised of the center-right Liberal Party and the conservative Christian Democrats and which would collapse without backing from Wilders’ Party of Freedom.

Wilders’ comments sparked a massive debate on the integration of Muslims in Europe that has helped fuel other populist movements around the continent. In Germany , politician Thilo Sarrazin wrote a bestselling book warning that Muslim immigrants were dumbing the country down.

Robert Kennedy Jr. “The Whole World Knows Geert Wilders is a Racist”

Here is a staggeringly good example of the politically correct left’s destruction of important and meaningful concepts and words. Racist of course already nearly means nothing thanks to the left’s forcing people to accept the notion that a group no matter how it is defined, whether it is by voluntary belief such as religion or sexual preference like homosexuality, is tantamount to race and any criticism of behaviors that may define these groups is consequently racist. Notice how Kennedy Jr. avoids answering any question on why Mr. Wilders is a racist, he simply insists that he is and that everyone knows he is. The usual dodge of the left.

 

‘ I don’t need to back up my name calling cause everyone (except everyone who doesn’t agree but they don’t count cause they are also racists) knows that its true.’

 

History will show that Geert Wilders did more for Gay rights, minority rights, intercultural tolerance and preservation of Western values than any other politician of this time while Kennedy and his ilk happily threw those who Islam oppresses ‘under the bus’ merely to attempt to preserve the populist narrative.

Here are Geert Wilders final statements in his seemingly never ending show trial for hate speech in the Netherlands. There is one small error in the translation near the end. Where the titles read:

“Do not let that source go dry just to cozy up to a totalitarian regime. “Freedom,” said the American President Dwight Eisenhower, “has its life in the hearts, the actions, the spirit of men and so it must be daily earned and refreshed – else like a flower cut from its life-giving roots, it will wither and die.”

The title should read ideology, not regime.

Geert Wilders interview Ottawa Canada May 10 2011

Last night, Geert Wilders spoke to a packed house in Ottawa Canada where he was greeted, I am proud to say, with a standing ovation as he walked into the room.

James Cohen who works extensively with the Free Thinking Film Society and with the International Free Press Society was able to get an interview with Geert yesterday afternoon at the club where the private reception for Geert took place. I am editing the video of the speeches from the National Arts Centre yesterday evening of Geert, Ezra Levant and Rabbi Jonathan Housman and hope to have those up sometime tomorrow. All were excellent. Meanwhile, here is the interview with Geert.Thanks again to IFPS-Canada as well as Fred Litwin’s Free Thinking Film Society for putting on this event.
