Muslim Cleric Plans White House Protest in Attempt to Spread Sharia Law in America

A Muslim cleric who called Americans “the biggest criminals” during a recent interview has announced he will hold a protest outside the White House, according to the Daily Mail.
Anjem Choudary, who once said “the flag of Islam will fly over the White House,” says he will lead a demonstration rallying Muslims to establish Sharia law across the United States.
Choudary, 43, called Americans “the biggest criminals in the world today” during an interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity this month.
Choudary, who is the former leader of the outlawed British-based group Islam4UK, says the March rally at the White House is being organized by the extremist group Islamic Thinkers Society, which is based in New York.
“The event is a rally, a call for the Sharia, a call for the Muslims to rise up and establish the Islamic state in America,” Choudary told London’s Daily Mail in an interview.

In 2001, I was an Air Force lieutenant colonel and A-10 fighter pilot stationed in Saudi Arabia, in charge of rescue operations for no-fly enforcement in Iraq and then in Afghanistan. Every time I went off base, I had to follow orders and put on a black Muslim abaya and head scarf. Military officials said this would show “cultural sensitivity” toward conservative Saudi leaders and guarantee “force protection” – this in a nation where women couldn’t drive, vote or dress as they pleased.
To me, the abaya directive, with its different rules for male and female troops and the requirement that I don the garb of a faith not my own, violated the U.S. constitutional values I pledged to defend and degraded military order and cohesion.
I already had tried for years to get the policy changed, without success, and late in 2001, I sued then-Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld over the policy. Congress stepped in and unanimously approved legislation that prohibited anyone in the military from requiring or encouraging servicewomen to put on abayas in Saudi Arabia or to use taxpayers’ money to buy them.
I remember a discussion with congressmen and staffers about whether the legislation should be broadened to cover military personnel serving in any country. We naively decided that Saudi Arabia posed the worst-case scenario; the military would get Congress’s intent and would not require servicewomen to wear Muslim attire in any mission elsewhere.
Sadly, we were mistaken. Nearly a decade later, some female soldiers serving in Afghanistan are being encouraged to wear headscarves. Some servicewomen have taken off the regulation helmet and worn just the scarf, even when on patrol outside, in their combat uniforms and body armor, M-4s slung over their shoulders.
The more common practice is to wear the scarf under one’s helmet or around the neck, pulling it on as the servicewoman removes her Kevlar helmet upon entering a village or building.
“Within Afghanistan, the donning of a scarf or other type of head covering by our female service members can be done as a sign of respect to the local culture and people they must necessarily interact with,” a senior U.S. military official told me via e-mail. “This can help promote greater trust and a fuller interaction with the local population as well as increased access to persons and places that contribute to mission accomplishment.”
Unlike in Saudi Arabia, this attire is considered optional and at the discretion of “leaders on the ground,” said the official.
However, when a superior tells a military subordinate any practice is optional, the very mention of the practice creates pressure to comply. This is especially true in combat settings, when subordinates must trust their commander’s direction to maximize mission effectiveness and protect lives.
Most of the U.S. servicewomen wearing headscarves are assigned to Female Engagement Teams (FETs), charged to reach out to local Afghan women and win their hearts and minds as part of the new counterinsurgency strategy. Wearing the hijab is thought to facilitate this access, since all Afghan women are expected to wear a headscarf when in public.
In the regions where the FETs are working, most local women still wear burqas, the head-to-toe gown that has a net over the eyes. So our female soldiers hardly blend in, with their weapons, boots and camouflage, and that bright scarf over their hair.
One officer told me she refuses to wear the scarf but is unwilling to speak out publicly against it. Yet many female troops defend the practice.

What this means is, Obama is considering the lesser of two evils when he should be dismissing either with the wave of the hand. He knows all too well that signing on to the alternative option of “not accepting the legitimacy of the settlements“, will invigorate, and enable Israel’s enemies to ramp up the demonization of the Jewish state on the international level.
But that’s not the only worry Israel has, this disaster of a US presidency, in both foreign and domestic policies, has shown an amateurism not seen since the Carter years and the enemies of both the US and Israel, most noticeably the Iranians, have taken note, and are busy flexing their muscles while the US has been barely able to mutter a response. This disastrous reincarnation of Carter-like amateurism will be the lasting legacy of the Obama (one term) administration.
It’s not a small feat to wrestle the mantle of the worst presidency for failures in both foreign and domestic policies from the neck of former US president, Jimmy Carter, but that is what Barack Hussein Obama has managed to do, and in a rather convincing way. NOTE: The wording of the document does indeed make it problematic for the Arabs to accept, (not declaring that pre-existing settlements as illegitimate) but from a propaganda perspective, what matters most, is if they do accept it. It’s bound to be a propaganda victory for the opposition, who will most undoubtedly promote it as a US’ rejection of the entire Israeli settlement policy, no matter how many times it’s explained to mean otherwise, the anti-Israel opposition and the media will just run with it.

In sharp reversal, U.S. agrees to rebuke Israel in Security Council

The U.S. informed Arab governments Tuesday that it will support a U.N. Security Council statement reaffirming that the 15-nation body “does not accept the legitimacy of continued Israeli settlement activity,” a move aimed at avoiding the prospect of having to veto a stronger Palestinian resolution calling the settlements illegal.
But the Palestinians rejected the American offer following a meeting late Wednesday of Arab representatives and said it is planning to press for a vote on its resolution on Friday, according to officials familar with the issue. The decision to reject the American offer raised the prospect that the Obama adminstration will cast its first ever veto in the U.N. Security Council.
Still, the U.S. offer signaled a renewed willingness to seek a way out of the current impasse, even if it requires breaking with Israel and joining others in the council in sending a strong message to its key ally to stop its construction of new settlements. The Palestinian delegation, along with Lebanon, the Security Council’s only Arab member state, have asked the council’s president this evening to schedule a meeting for Friday. But it remained unclear whether the Palestinian move today to reject the U.S. offer is simply a negotiating tactic aimed at extracting a better deal from Washington.

Navy on alert as 2 Iranian warships transit Suez Canal

Lieberman: This is a provocation that proves the Iranians’ overconfidence is growing from day to day.
The Israel Navy was tracking two Iranian warships as they were set to make a rare crossing of the Suez Canal early Thursday morning.
The vessels were to cross into the Mediterranean Sea on their way to Syria. Defense officials said Israel would monitor them, although their presence in the sea would not change anything for the navy’s operational deployment.
“It is strange for the Iranian Navy to use the Suez Canal since it really doesn’t have anything to do in the Mediterranean Sea,” one official said.
Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman called the planned transit of the canal by the ships a “provocation that proves that the overconfidence of the Iranians is growing from day to day.”
Speaking at a meeting in Jerusalem of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, Lieberman lashed out at the international community, which he said was not doing enough to confront Iranian provocations.
He also said he expected the world to “put the Iranians in their place. We are the true allies of the United States in the region, and the only ones that share its values. The international community needs to understand that Israel will not be able to ignore these provocations forever.”

While the news media continue its Egyptian-uprising coverage, most of the denizens of U.S. newsrooms are turning a blind eye to President Barack Obama’s connection to a key player in the Egyptian rebellion: the radical Islamic group known as the Muslim Brotherhood which co-sponsored last year’s disasterous “Gaza Aid Flotilla.”
While the world condemned the actions of the Israeli military, calls for an international body to investigate the Gaza flotilla raid by Israeli forces—in which nine “peace activists” were killed—were clouded by political posturing and vitriolic soundbites, according to some U.S. counterterrorism experts.
Even President Obama proposed an independent inquiry into the incident that triggered worldwide condemnation of Israel especially by members of the elite news media, but his proposal was quickly dropped as information came to light that certain individuals close to him and the Democrat Party were involved in the bloody incident.
Israel maintained a blockade around Gaza for quite sometime with the hope to preventing weapons such as missiles and rockets from being smuggled to the Palestinian terrorists. It was decided by a number of Islamists and radicals to take actions that would ultimately end the blockade.
The organizer of the blockade-busting action was a known radical group called Free Gaza. The “Free Gaza” flotilla was far more than a collection of innocent “peace activists” trying to provide humanitarian aid to Gaza, as they were portrayed by most news organizations.
Free Gaza sponsored the flotilla that engaged in deadly clashes with Israeli special forces troops and among its members were Weather Underground founders William Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn—who perpetrated a series of terrorist attacks—as well as Jodie Evans, the leader of the radical activist organization Code Pink. Besides the U.S. radicals, Islamic groups such as Hamas, Hezbollah and Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood contributed to the flotilla.
As is well-known in the United States, Ayers and Dohrn were close associates of President Obama for years in Chicago. Meanwhile, Jodie Evans was a fundraiser and financial bundler for Obama’s presidential campaign. In fact, one of Obama’s fundraisers was held in the home of Ayers and Dohrn.
Evans later worked on Attorney General Jerry Brown’s successful run for the governorship of California.
“Ayers’ and Dohrn’s continued activities appear to elude the attention of the people responsible for reporting the news without bias. They are terrorists, plain and simple, so why would anyone be surprised to discover their connection to an anti-Semitic organization that supports terror groups such as Hamas, Hezbollah, the Muslim Brother and even al-Qaeda?” asks former New York Police detective Michael Snopes.
The passengers reportedly included 100-plus members of various Muslim Brotherhood chapters, at least 20 of whom taped al Qaeda-style “martyr” videos before embarking on their anti-Israel mission, according to terrorist expert Steve Emerson, founder of The Investigative Project on Terrorism.

11 Muslim students face charges in UCI protest

SANTA ANA – Eleven students were charged Friday with conspiring to disrupt a speech last year by the Israeli ambassador to the United States at UC Irvine.
The incident occurred Feb. 8, 2010, when Ambassador Michael Oren was the featured speaker on campus at a meeting co-sponsored by several organizations. Eleven Muslim students were arrested in the incident.
UC Irvine students, local muslims and supporters, many with mouths taped rallied outside the Orange County District Attorney’s office Feb. 1, 2011. They protested potential criminal charges against UCI Muslim student union members arrested last February after disrupting a speech in by the Israeli Ambassador to the United States. The sign says, “Stand with the 11.”

“This case is being filed because there was an organized attempt to squelch the speaker, who was invited to speak to a group at UCI,” District Attorney Tony Rackauckas said in a statement. “These defendants meant to stop this speech and stop anyone else from hearing his ideas, and they did so by disrupting a lawful meeting. This is a clear violation of the law and failing to bring charges against this conduct would amount to a failure to uphold the Constitution.”
Each defendant is charged with one misdemeanor count of conspiracy to disturb a meeting and one misdemeanor count of the disturbance of a meeting, according to a news release from the District Attorney’s Office. If convicted, each faces a sentence that could include probation with community service or fines or up to six months in jail.
They are scheduled to be arraigned on the charges March 11.
The defendants are: Mohamed Mohy-Eldeen Abdelgany, 23; Khalid Gahgat Akari, 19; Aslam Abbasi Akhtar, 23; Joseph Tamim Haider, 23; Taher Mutaz Herzallah, 21; Hakim Nasreddine Kebir, 20; Shaheen Waleed Nassar, 21; Mohammad Uns Qureashi, 19; Ali Mohammad Sayeed, 23; Osama Ahmen Shabaik, 22; and Asaad Mohamedidris Traina, 19.
While eight students charged are from UCI, Akari, Herzallah and Nassar were students at UC Riverside.
“We don’t think they deserve to be charged,” said Mohy Abdelgany, 50, of Irvine, Abdelgany’s father. “They simply stood, made a very short statement and left the room peacefully. … In the same event there was heckling and threats by other audience members with the opposite view of the protesters.”
Abdelgany added that his son is on vacation and not available to speak.
The younger Abdelgany, who was president of the Muslim Student Union at UCI, is accused of meeting with other members of the group in the days before Oren’s speech to plan to disrupt it, prosecutors said. He is accused of sending an email to the group’s message board saying “we will be staging a University of Chicago Style disruption of the Ambassador’s speech.”
Two days before the speech, Abdelgany is accused of sending an email to the group’s message board with a “Game Plan” for disrupting the event, and advising in the email that “to the outside,” the disruption was to be portrayed as done by individuals, not the Muslim Student Union, in order to “put up an obstacle” against the UCI administration in case it was to “come after the MSU” afterward, according to prosecutors. Obama Sells Out Great Britain to Russia
I have mixed feelings about this. If we think of England as it used to be, then this is outrageous and beyond acceptable and Obama needs to be impeached and maybe jailed immediately. If you think of England as it is today, a place where the MI6 even said if it wasn’t for US surveillance on England, it would be a source near constant horrifying terrorism to the world, then suddenly I want Russia being able to disable British nuclear weapons as I think they may be in the hands of Islamics within a few years.

In an incredible breach of trust with an ally of two centuries, United States President Barack Obama secretly agreed to give Russia sensitive information on Great Britain’s nuclear arsenal in order to sweeten the pot for a treaty deal with the former power that was once known as the Soviet Union. WikiLeaks, which has revealed many recent foreign affairs secrets, had kept the information cold.
Obama intends to sign the agreement with Russia next week and this revelation is certain to enrage conservatives on both sides of the pond. The news of this arms deal should cause alarm to all of America’s allies about just how smart it is or isn’t to be a friend of the United States. The relationship between the United States and Great Britain has been referred to as “special” for decades but it has become apparent that Obama has nothing but contempt for it.
On his first day in office Obama had the statue of Winston Churchill removed. A couple of months later he was ice cold to then Prime Minister Gordon Brown, despite the fact that he was a fellow leftist. But this betrayal of nuclear secrets to Russia trumps all of that. Britain has long maintained the need to keep their nuclear power arsenal a secret due to its relatively small numbers in comparison to the powerhouses of the United States and Russia.
WikiLeaks also revealed that the Americans were trying to get dirt on British foreign officials with tidbits on their private lives. It was learned that the only way Russia would consider making an arms deal with the United States was if they were given information about Britain’s nuclear capability.
