Muslim Hertz workers fired for failing to clock out during breaks now suing Hertz for backpay, health care and anything they can get

Thanks SDAMATT2a for taking the time and trouble to assemble this record of events.

Reminds me a lot of a certain Toronto courier that got fully screwed in a similar manner by Muslims who insisted on their right to break the health and safety codes of Ontario to wear Muslim clothes on ladders at UPS, sued and won. Which means they could have also sued the company had they been allowed to break the rules and hurt themselves.

Lesson?

Don’t hire Muslims.

Iran blocks US ‘virtual embassy’ website

H/T Shab

From The Hill:

By Jeremy Herb – 12/07/11 06:05 PM ET

Iran blocked a “virtual embassy” website less than 24 hours after the State Department launched it on Tuesday, a State spokesman said Wednesday.

The Associated Press reported from Tehran Wednesday that the website could no longer be accessed in Iran.

The U.S. has not had an embassy in Iran since the Iran hostage crisis in 1979.

The embassy website shuttering drew a quick rebuke from the Obama administration.

“We condemn the Iranian government’s efforts to deny their people the freedom to access America’s recently launched Virtual Embassy Tehran,” Press Secretary Jay Carney said in a statement. “The Iranian government’s systematic efforts to deny information to its citizens—to control what the Iranian people see and hear—is doomed to fail in a 21st century when technology is empowering citizens around the globe.”

Tensions between Iran and the U.S. have risen in the past week after Iran claimed it shot down an unmanned and captured it. The Senate also passed an amendment last week by a 100-0 vote calling for sanctions against firms and governments that do business with the Iranian central bank. Continue Reading →

White house considers domestic terrorism, ‘work place accidents’?

Long time readers of Vlad may remember that some time ago, I did a video, one of my first ever actually, asking that people write their representatives in DC asking that Private Long be given a purple heart at the least as he was clearly killed while in the line of duty by an enemy of the USA. The white house of course refuses to see his murder/killing as an act of war, even though the person who did it was a religious Muslim who did it in the name of Jihad.

I guess that purple heart is still a ways away depending on who wins in 2012. Let’s hope it is someone who is willing to admit who the enemy is and what their ideological motives are.

I will try and find that video, now removed from youtube and put it back up here.

Announcing: JIHAD AWARENESS MONTH

The latest video from the Christian apologetics ninjas over at AnsweringMuslims.com is a joy to behold. It contains the usual combination of precise and irrefutable scholarship with their unique sense of humour, but this time it’s also a little different.

There’s a really pro-active tone of positivity and empowerment here: watch right to the end to pick up some really useful tips on how you can take positive steps this month (symbolic in its Judeo-Christian festivities of all that is best about Western Civilization) to combat ignorance of Islam.

This guidance follows a characteristically brilliant deconstruction of the utterly mad rhetoric on Islam now coming out of the Obama administration, which just today classified the Fort Hood massacre as “workplace violence”!

To quote from Dr David Wood in the video:

The Anti-American dreamteam then [i.e extremists and the liberal establishment] consists almost entirely of cowards and morons: the ONLY way we could ever be defeated by a force like that, is if we do absolutely nothing.

Two stories concerning what looks like a fake doctor and the theft of strategic materials from a US research facility for Iran

Like many spy stories, this one is complex and takes some effort. I haven’t mucked through it all yet but here are the two links that deal with it that I have so far.

Thanks Shab as always, for the great watchful eye on all things IRI (Islamic Republic of Iran)

Iran downs US drone, threatens reprisal: reports

From Google News:

By Mohammad Davari (AFP) – 3 hours ago

TEHRAN — Iran’s military said it shot down a US Army drone inside its territory near the Afghan and Pakistani borders on Sunday, and threatened to retaliate for the violation, Iranian media reported.

The Al-Alam Arabic language satellite channel, quoting a military source in Iran’s joint chiefs of staff, said late Sunday the RQ-170 unmanned aerial vehicle was shot down “a few hours ago.”

The Fars news agency, which has close ties to the Revolutionary Guards responsible for Iran’s air defence and ballistic missile systems, said the drone had made an incursion into Iran’s eastern airspace.

“Our air defence and electronic warfare units managed to identify and shoot down an advanced unmanned spy aircraft — an RQ-170 — after it briefly violated the eastern border territory,” Fars said, quoting an unnamed military source.

The drone “was downed with slight damage. It is now under the control of our forces,” the source added.

The source warned that Iran’s armed response would “not be limited to our country’s borders” for the “blatant territorial violation.” Continue Reading →

U.S. Asks Korea to Join Sanctions Against Iran

The Chosun:

High-ranking U.S. State Department officials have visited Korea recently to ask Seoul to step up sanctions against Iran, which is believed to be developing nuclear weapons. The U.S. apparently wants Seoul to halt imports of Iranian petrochemical products and crude oil.

Following a visit last month by State Department Undersecretary Wendy Sherman, the Obama administration now plans to dispatch Robert Einhorn, a State Department advisor for non-proliferation and arms control, to seek strengthened sanctions against Iran by the Korean government, a diplomatic source said Wednesday.

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton reportedly urged President Lee Myung-bak and Foreign Minister Kim Sung-hwan on the sidelines of the High-Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness in Busan on Tuesday to join U.S. sanctions.

The source said, “The U.S. wants Korea to halt purchases of Iranian crude oil just as France has done.” The U.S. wants to block Iran’s crude oil exports, which are its main source of income.

According to government statistics, Korea’s trade with Iran amount to US$10 billion a year, with crude oil accounting for $5-6 billion. Crude oil imports from Iran account for 9.6 percent of Korea’s total oil imports.

Seoul is therefore less than enthusiastic. A government official said, “I believe it will not be too late to reach a decision on the matter after monitoring the situation further.” Another reason for caution is that Iranian protesters stormed the British Embassy in Tehran on Tuesday shortly after the U.K. said it would apply sanctions against the Middle Eastern country in order to halt its nuclear weapons program.

But another government source said, “We can’t ignore a request from our closest ally. Given closer relations between Tehran and Pyongyang in exchanging nuclear weapons technology, we are looking to take appropriate steps.”

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Saturday ordered the United States to vacate a controversial airbase within 15 days and closed Nato supply lines into Afghanistan permanently in response to a deadly cross-border Nato air strike.

The order refers to Shamsi, the remote desert outpost in southwest Pakistan reportedly used as a hub for covert CIA drone strikes, which Pakistan previously told the United States to leave in June.

Pakistan would also review all its diplomatic, political, military and intelligence activities with US and Nato. Continue Reading →

FBI arrests 7 in Amish haircut attacks in Ohio

ZZ top B team

you got to be kidding

MILLERSBURG, Ohio (AP) — The leader of a breakaway Amish group allowed the beatings of those who disobeyed him, made some members sleep in a chicken coop and had sexual relations with married women to “cleanse them,” federal authorities said Wednesday as they charged him and six others with hate crimes in hair-cutting attacks against other Amish.

Authorities raided the group’s compound in eastern Ohio earlier in the day and arrested seven men, including group leader Sam Mullet and three of his sons.

Several members of the group carried out the attacks in September, October and November by forcibly cutting the beards and hair of Amish men and women and then taking photos of them, authorities said.

Cutting the hair is a highly offensive act to the Amish, who believe the Bible instructs women to let their hair grow long and men to grow beards and stop shaving once they marry. One victim told the FBI he would rather have been “beaten black and blue than to suffer the disfigurement and humiliation of having his hair removed,” according to court papers.

The attacks struck at the core of the Amish identity and tested their principles. They are pacifists and strongly believe that they must be forgiving in order for God to forgive them, which often means handing out their own punishment and not reporting crimes to law enforcement. Continue Reading →

NYC terror suspect in court

Here is a short, under 2 minute, video of Osama Husain, the NYC terror suspect, in court.

For those who have not seen the whole press conference of yesterday evening in NYC with Mayor Bloomberg, I recommend doing it. It was, unlike some of the federal media coverage of it, not sanitized of references to the inspiring ideology or the people he admired or the motive. In that, this 26 minute video is quite refreshing as there is little sense that anyone is misinforming you for the purpose of a narrative.

NYC Mayor holds press conference on most recent Islamic terror attempt

A Muslim convert calling himself, ‘Osama Husain’ wanted to kill as many Americans as he could, and nearly killed quite a few.

(The first minute has some small sound issues that clear up by the end of the first minute.)

This is especially interesting given the video a few posts down:

Below, the CNN video of the same conference. I like to have my own in case there is any editing or if it disappears.

Man Is Said to Be Arrested in Bid to Kill Government Workers With Bomb

Well, I guess we have to assume the guy they arrested is a Muslim cause they didn’t name him. The fellow who shot at the white house they named as soon as they had him even though he was a Mexican, I suppose because he wore a cross in his videos and had a non-Muslim name. But as the person under arrest here is just a ‘man in custody’ I suppose that means we can assume he is a Muslim.

On the other hand, the mayor of NYC is holding a press conference at 7:30 EST to discuss this terror plan and it was targeting civil servants. This makes me suspect it is something they can pin on the right wing, as if it was a Muslim, the mayor would more likely have booked a table for 50 at his local shawarma place and then head off with the rest of city council to admire the photographs over at the new Ground Zero mosque.

The authorities have arrested a man who law enforcement officials believe was planning to build and detonate a bomb in New York with government workers as the target, a person briefed on the case said on Sunday.

Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg, Commissioner Raymond W. Kelly of the New York Police Department, and Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus R. Vance Jr. were expected to announce the charges against the man at 7:30 p.m. at a news conference at City Hall.

The man was arrested within the last 24 hours.

The defendant in the case – whose identity could not be learned – had bought bomb-making materials and “began to build them,” said the person briefed on the case, who added that the Police Department had had the man under surveillance for about a year.

One law enforcement official described the case as a “lone wolf scenario.”
