Here is an article on what the Norwegian Ambassador said, as referred to by Michael Coren above.

The Weather Channel
The outgoing Israeli embassador to the United Nations is reported to have quipped to a reporter, (paraphrasing and adding my own commentary…)
‘When Jews kill Muslims it’s a massacre (even after it is discovered that it never took place such as in Jenin)
‘When Christians kill Muslims it is a crusade’ (even after it is discovered that it was a defensive action against an invading and hostile Islam like, well like the crusades)
‘But when Muslims kill Muslims it is the weather channel’ (like we see every day and nearly everywhere Muslims represent enough of the population to act with impunity or with complicity of a Muslim law enforcement. Contemporary Syria or Pakistan is one example that manages to stay off of our TV sets while we focus on the deluded rantings of an extreme narcissist because he fits a relativist narrative, and that, even though he didn’t kill any Muslims, yet is being used as an example of how evil ‘our side’ is.
Have a look at some of these videos recently smuggled out of Syria. Then, have another look at Bill Whittle’s excellent video on ‘The Narrative’. A clip that does more to explain where and why the great eye of TV media shines than does Lord of the Rings for Sauroman.

English Defence League link is dismissed as a red herring
From The Independent:
By Nigel Morris, Kim Sengupta and Matt Blake
Tuesday, 26 July 2011
As further details emerged of the connections between Anders Behring Breivik and the English Defence League (EDL), the group’s founder warned last night that a similar attack could take place in Britain.
The group strenuously denies any knowledge of Breivik, and has unreservedly condemned the murders, but a number of members of the anti-Islamic organisation claimed he joined a rally in London last year. The anti-fascist group Searchlight is preparing to release further information today about the killer’s links with the EDL.
The allegations surfaced as police and security services began urgently examining the activities of far-right organisations following Breivik’s claims to have met like-minded extremists in London. Security sources said that was no immediate evidence backing up his claims he had a support network that extended to Britain – and there is little history of links between British and Norwegian neo-Nazis.
The EDL was the organisation mentioned most often by Breivik in the 1,500-page personal “manifesto” he posted online before embarking on his killing spree. Stephen Lennon, its leader, said he did not believe the Norwegian had ever marched alongside EDL activists. EDL organiser Daryl Hobson wrote in an online posting: “He had about 150 EDL on his list … bar one or two doubt the rest of us ever met him, altho [sic] he did come over for one of our demo [sic] in 2010 … but what he did was wrong. RIP to all who died as a result of his actions.”
However, a senior member said he understood Breivik had met EDL leaders when he attended the demonstration in March 2010, and described him as “very affable”. “I spoke to him a few times on Facebook and he is extremely intelligent and articulate and very affable,” the source told The Daily Telegraph. “He is someone who can project himself very well and I presume there would be those within the EDL who would be quite taken by that. It’s like Hitler, people said he was hypnotic. This guy had the same sort of effect.”
In his first public appearance since the attacks, Mr Lennon said similar attacks could take place in the UK if the right of peaceful protest was taken away. He told BBC2’s Newsnight: “You need to listen because, God forbid, this ever happens on British soil …. it’s the time coming … you’re probably five or 10 years away.”

Lowell Green discusses the Norwegian massacre and leftist media opportunism towards it.
New York Times adopts Islamic view of time and cause and effect
Muslims among their other bag of rhetorical tricks and devices, like to put effect before cause and then blame things they do on the things that happened after. Basically its the logic of the school yard bully who claims that ‘the fight started when he hit me back’.
One example would be the building of the Al Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem, then claiming its proof of Israel being an Islamic territory despite archeological and contemporary evidence of thousands of years of Jewish existence there before Mohamed was even born, and then fighting to return it to a state it never was. Sort of a living, continuous simulacrum.
Now the New York Times adopts the same logic. They blame, albeit indirectly, US conservative bloggers like Robert Spencer and Gates of Vienna for the Norway mass murder by a man who, in his own manifesto, demonstrates that he has been planning and training for this attack for nine years. This would be several years (it doesn’t matter how many. More than 1 second is enough) before any of the sites he uses as his excuse for the attack ever began writing.
What is clear, is that the man wished to kill a lot of people and in a spectacular way. It is clear that he wished great notoriety for doing so. It is clear he wished to have a grandiose reason for his horror which he made up as he went along, well after he decided to do this attack.
What a pity the times is complicit in this reasoning. But as this analysis points out, it is not inconsistent with its overall reporting of matters Islamic or concerning what it views as the ‘right wing’

STRATFOR: Anders had Polish accomplice?
Norway: Bomber Purchased Fertilizer In Poland, Potential Accomplice Held
The Norwegian man who killed at least 93 people in a bomb attack and shooting rampage bought chemical fertilizer from a Polish company in an entirely legal exchange, the Polish Internal Security Agency (ABW) said July 25, Reuters reported. The deputy head of the ABW, Pawel Bialek, said the materials purchased in Poland were not critical for the construction of the bomb. Relatedly, a Polish man has been apprehended in Poland for being a potential accomplice to bomber Anders Behring Breivik, Sofia news agency reported July 25, citing Dagbladet. The Polish man, who is based in Warsaw, owns a company that distributes chemicals and is suspected of assisting Breivik in the preparation of the bomb attack in Oslo on July 22. The suspect will be held in police custody for 48 hours.
EDL statement on Norway and Anders Brievik
From the EDL Website:
Unfortunately, due to some uneducated members of the media, blindly only reporting half a story, we have been forced to make another statement on the Norwegian terrorist Anders Brievik and further give attention to him, rather than the 94 innocent victims, their families and the people of Norway who deserve the attention as they recover from this tragedy.
It would seem shameful that journalists have been all too quick to link the English Defence League to this murderous creature, quoting from his blog that ‘on some occasions [he] had discussions with SIOE and EDL and recommended them to use certain strategies (via facebook)’. We can categorically state that there has never been any official contact between him and the EDL, our facebook page had 100,000 supporters and receives tens of thousands of comments each day. And there is no evidence that Brievik was ever one of those 100,000 supporters. Even so, anyone who expresses any extremist beliefs of any kind, be it white supremacist, christian fundamentalist or Islamic extremists, they all get banned from the site.
We have a long and successful history of ridding this peaceful and patriotic organisation of anyone who doesn’t agree with our mission statement, or shows extremist beliefs. This includes successful stewarding of our demos, ensuring that any racists are removed from the areas, strict moderating on our forums and constant monitoring of our facebook pages and affiliated groups. It has been reported that Norway has some problems far-right groups and neo-Nazi organisations, in February, our friends at the Norwegian Defence League had many new supporters after our peaceful Luton demonstration. Unfortunately, due to irresponsible and libellous journalism, some of these new supporters believed the NDL to be a group to express their far-right and neo-Nazi beliefs. It wasn’t and the NDL did a fine job of quickly acting and banishing such unwanted fascists and putting the record straight that fascists are not welcome in the Defence Leagues, only patriots worried about the rise of extremism that causes unnecessary death and pain to innocent people. It is not known whether Brievik was one of those to be banished, but the fact that one of his aims was to set up a Norwegian version of the EDL, when there already was one, goes some way to showing that he hasn’t got a clue about the EDL movement. A Weaponized Madman
An Article from Gates of Vienna with which I agree.
This is from our Portuguese-American correspondent João, who lives in a major city on the West Coast. As Dymphna reported last month, he has educated himself in terrorism-related matters, and learned Arabic so that he could frequent a mosque and discover what was really going on inside.
His latest report concerns yesterday’s bombing and massacre in Norway, and what may possibly be gleaned from the available information:
Baron, this is truly a tragic event. My prayers go out to the Norwegian people. This man is obviously a monster.
Since yesterday I have been putting my analytical thinking cap on overdrive, and here are my personal thoughts.
1. Nativist violence of this type is extremely rare — .01% if we look at the events of the past twenty years. Violent groups in my estimation may be arranged in the following in order of importance — Islamic, independence movements (Palestinians, ETA, Kurds, Tamil Tigers), leftist (Bader Meinhof, Red Brigades), and very rarely a Nativist.
Norway has no violent groups of Native Norwegians. This recent event in Norway will fall into the rare one-off McVeigh category.
There are no violent “anti-Muslim” groups in Norway. At the moment we cannot assign Anders Behring Breivik to any part of the counter-jihad. He is truly a “Lone Wolf”!
2. From the open source material it appears that this man bought six tons of fertilizer to make the explosive vehicles he used in downtown Oslo. Ever since Oklahoma, merchants have been vigilant about reporting such purchases to the authorities immediately. Did this happen? And what did the security forces do with this info?
With this kind of purchase he should never have left the store without someone asking him some questions. What did the Norwegian authorities know and how quickly did they act?
3. My private observations about the level of sophistication in this plot are as follows: This would require sophisticated bomb-making training to pull off this kind of precision.
Where was he trained? In a training camp, over the internet? This kind of knowledge requires hands-on training, not a correspondence course.
Someone trained him, and why didn’t the authorities know about this? Did someone drop the ball and let a “Lone Wolf” develop under their nose? It’s hard to believe!
My overall view is that Anders Behring Breivik is what we might call a “weaponized madman.”
A weaponized madman is what happens when you take your run-of-the-mill homicidal man and weaponize him by giving him the ability and support to scale up his mayhem.
How and by who whom was he weaponized? These details should consume our energies till we expose the truth.
Since 9-11 we have seen 10,000 Islamic acts of terror, and now we have one mad white guy. Logic dictates that we put our resources into the greater threat.
Where is the greater threat? In a once-every-sixteen-years phenomenon, or the recurring act?
Good security professionals should use this logic.
