David G. Littman explains in the United Nations how Fatah reasserts its original 1968 Charter in spite of pledges in the Oslo Accords and elsewhere to amend it, how this Charter calls for all-out warfare against Israel and ethnic cleansing of Jews, and mentions examples of racism taught openly in the PA authority schools.

Three Clips of Michael Coren on SUN TV

I am very much looking forward to Mr. Coren’s own show on SUN TV. The station really is picking up. It is also refreshing to have at least one TV channel in Canada who has the courage to actually report the real news without sanitizing it for the left and politically correct.

Now if we can only privatize the CBC:

Here is Michael interviewing a person on the plight of Christians world wide and especially in the Islamic world. Pakistan and Egypt spring to mind especially.

Below, an East Coast Canadian newspaper editor published a cartoon which depicted Muslims, although not Mohamed, for which complaints were received.

Fred Litwin, who also runs the blog, Gay and Right, as well as started the very important, ‘Free Thinking Film Society’ who has brought in to speak people like Bat Ye’or, Sam Solomon, Geert Wilders and other people who otherwise would never have spoken in Canada, speaks here on how the gay pride parade incorporates many variables which have nothing to do with gay pride, or gay rights.

I agree with Fred here and would add, that homosexuals having achieved all rational goals and rights in Canada as they certainly should have, now want to force gay sex on to main street and then accuse anyone who objects to flagrant breaches of indecency laws as being ‘homophobic. It is worth noting that there is a difference between tolerance and embracing. One is requested, the other is your own business.

Pajamas Media: Iran steps up the ‘destroy Israel’ jingoism

In reaction to the recent assassination of Iranian scientist Dariush Rezaiinejad, chief commander of the Basij Brigadier General Mohammad-Reza Naghdi stated:

The main plot for this criminal act was conceived by the American government, and since it is scared of the reaction by the Muslim world due to the uprisings in the region, it had the Zionist regime commit the heinous act.

…

In order to protect the security of our country, we have no option but to have the Zionist regime wiped off the map.

Ex-CIA Officer: Israel Likely to Attack Iran in Fall

It’s a dirty job but…

H/T Richard

From NEWSMAX

Israel will probably attack Iran in September, a former CIA officer who spent 21 years in the Middle East, including in Lebanon and Syria, has told a Los Angeles radio show.

While Robert Baer didn’t reveal the sources behind his prediction, he referred to former Mossad chief Meir Dagan’s warnings of an Israeli attack on Iran as “no bluff.”

Baer told the KPFK Radio on Tuesday recent comments made by Dagan that an Israeli attack on Iran could lead to a regional war, “tell us with near certainty that [Prime Minister Binyamin] Netanyahu is planning an attack, and in as much as I can guess when it’s going to be, it’s probably going to be in September, before a [UN General Assembly] vote on the Palestinian state.”

Only one in three Palestinians (34 percent) accepts two states for two peoples as the solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict

Here is an excerpt from an interesting article on a poll conducted in the Palestinian territories here:

 Media Palispins a Poll

July 18, 2011 12:14 by Simon Plosker

An important press conference took place in Jerusalem last week, with the release of a poll of Palestinian attitudes commissioned by The Israel Project. The findings presented a very mixed bag, some positive and others extremely disturbing.

There were some positives to be taken from the poll such as a majority of Palestinians favoring direct negotiations over violence and a drop in support for Hamas.

However, the poll results also point to a clear problem in how Palestinians perceive the concept of peace with Israel and back up concerns that continuing Palestinian incitement and the failure to recognize Israel’s legitimacy are major obstacles to peace and potentially at the heart of the conflict.

Excellent audio file of the constant rocket attacks on Sderot Israel

Click through to this address
and give it a listen. It isn’t long but it does offer perspective.

15 seconds

In a recent discussion I had with someone about Israel, they actually said to me that the number of people killed by incoming rockets was very low. So Israel’s reaction therefore was not justified. I was of course stunned. That somehow before Israel should be allowed to defend itself she should wait till lots of her citizens are murdered by terrorists. I asked if it was OK that I just fired a rifle randomly at my friends house and so long as I didn’t actually kill anyone that s/he wouldn’t call the police. That shut them up for a bit. I should have shown them this:

This video is part of an article on Israeli news requesting that media report on attacks against Israel in a manner that better reflects the reality of life under constant terrorist threat. Small excerpt below.

Noam Bedein, Director of The Sderot Media Center, has issued a call to mainstream media from the citizens of Sderot. Arutz Sheva has decided to publish it for our readers and hopefully, the mainstream media to whom it is addressed. A video below, shows children panicking to run for bomb shelters as a Kassam rocket approaches.

Sderot Call on the Mainstream Media:

We ask you respectfully to change the way you report the continued rocket fire on Israel from Gaza.

The latest statistics from Natal, the organization dealing with post-traumatic stress, show that 70% of the children of Sderot suffer from symptoms of post-traumatic stress two and a half  years after the Cast Lead Operation and a full third of Sderot’s residents feel constant post-traumatic anxiety.

Australian leftists demand Israel tear down the security fence while saying nothing about Egypt’s wall for the same reason around the same people.

The hypocrisy of the left on these issues knows no bounds. I find it interesting that comments for this video are moderated. I left the comment, “What about the Egyptian wall. That one OK?” to discover that all comments are moderated. Hypocrites.

Monzer Zimmo of the Canadian Heritage Hearts Hamas and the Sea Hitler

From Kaffir Canuck

with thanks

This image characterizing the Jew a-la-Blood libel vampire is from the uprootedpalestinans.blogspot.com featuring a post by Monzer Zimmo who is the Financial/Business Development Advisor, Deputy Director General of Canadian Heritage.

Every once in a while I get folks who just love to throw themselves out there. Aside from the anti-Semitic cartoon he posted, consider this comment on my Aboutpage by Monzer Zimmo:

I find your stupid blog offensive. I am a Palestinian canadian working for the Canadian government in Ottawa and was in the flotilla. I also raised money ($5 000*) for it. You have no damn business telling me– a free Canadian ciotizen– what I can or not do. I too am a taxpayer and I have the freedom of speech. If you dont like Hamas, tough noogies.

*My find.

First a little background on Mr. Zimmo. According to Potlucks for Peace, he:

Monzer is an activist Palestinian-Canadian who advocates the resolution of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict through the peaceful creation of one secular constitutional democracy, rooted in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, over the whole of geographic Palestine, in which Christians, Jews, Muslims, and others feel at home, safe, secure, and equally respected.

Advocating a peaceful resolution yet espousing support for terrorist Group Hamas, who still won’t let Gilad Shalit go after five years, and who rocketed and mortared Israel again this week, seems to be typical of the compartmentalization of the Palestinian supporters who can separate history and facts to make up their own reality, while conveniently ignoring the Hamas Charter.

“…the plane’s captain is entitled to decide not to carry them on board.”

This is sound policy. I don’t see why activists with a solid history of disrupting events, of trying to make a political point at the expense of order and by attacking the actual peaceful and typically Western side of all equations, I don’t see why these people should feel entitled to take advantage of all of the fruits of the efforts of those they oppose at any time of their convenience. I guess these ‘flytilla’ idiots will just have to get back using the same means they would grant to the Israelis if they had their way, given that they are working closely with Hamas that have made very specific promises about the Jews.

They can swim.

ISRAEL: MAXIMUM ALERT, PRO-PALESTINIAN ACTIVISTS STOPPED

ANSAMED

  • riduci

(ANSAmed) – TEL AVIV, JULY 8 – With a wide-reaching operation that has stretched as far as Europe, Israel today countered attempts by hundreds of political activists to meet at “Lydda” airport (the Arab name for the town of Lod, near Tel Aviv), where, in the presence of Israeli border guards, they were due to start a rally provocatively entitled “Welcome to Palestine”.

More than two hundred activists were stopped as they attempted to board planes at a number of European airports (including Paris, Geneva and Vienna), as a result of “black lists” forwarded to airlines by Israel’s Interior Ministry. Around sixty others were intercepted at Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion airport. These included passengers of the Alitalia flight from Rome.

Half of these passengers (Belgian, French, American, Spanish, German and Dutch) were immediately ordered to return home. For the others, checks by the Israeli Interior Ministry are continuing.

Israeli police had planned for the event by raising the level of alert in the airport’s arrival hall and in areas close to the airport, in an attempt to prevent solidarity protests by left-wing Israeli activists. The several hundred police involved, however, were not called into action. Continue Reading →
