Terrorists Target EDL Demonstration

As reported earlier this morning, seven men have been arrested for their involvement in a plot to target last Saturday’s EDL demonstration in Dewsbury.
Police found an improvised explosive device (IED), much like those used in Afghanistan, along with guns, ammunition and leaflets warning ‘infidels’ not to follow the EDL, David Cameron or the Queen.
It was only by chance that just hours before the demonstration was set to begin the car carrying this deadly cargo was pulled over and impounded for not having any insurance. But it was not until Monday that police actually searched the car and discovered the weaponry.
When every single day our newspapers carry reports about Islamic extremism, it’s all too easy to become desensitised; to imagine that in the modern world the existence of would-be terrorists and religious radicals is just an unfortunate reality.
It seems that the reaction ranges from two extremes – from a false sense of security to a paranoid belief that every Muslim should be considered a security threat. Getting the right balance is not easy, but it’s difficult to maintain that Islam does not teach violence when for every Muslim leader who is willing to extend his hand in friendship there is another who is more than willing to praise suicide bombers, preach intolerance or encourage violence against British soldiers.
It’s also easy to imagine that the battle against Islamic extremism is one being fought solely by our security services and that you or I could not possibly have a role to play.

SOCIAL workers want to seize a baby as soon as it is born because they are concerned about the mother’s violent links to the English Defence League.
Durham County Council has told Toni McLeod she would pose a “risk of significant harm” to the baby. Social workers fear the child would become radicalised with EDL views and want it put up for adoption immediately.
Mrs McLeod, who is 35 weeks pregnant, is a former leading member of the EDL, in which she was notorious as “English Angel”. The 25-year-old has a string of convictions for violence, including butting and biting a police officer after an EDL march in 2010 and she has been banned from owning dogs after setting a pit bull on a former partner.
However, her cause has been taken up by Lib Dem MP John Hemming who, despite his loathing for the EDL, raised it in the Commons. He contrasts her treatment with that of the extremist Islamic cleric Abu Qatada, who was allowed to remain with his children when he was briefly remanded on bail earlier this year as the Government tries to deport him.

He said: “It raises a curious question as to why Abu Qatada is allowed to radicalise his children but the state won’t take the chance of allowing Toni McLeod to look after her baby in case she says something social workers won’t like.
“I am very strongly opposed to the EDL, which I believe to be a racist organisation, but I do not think we should remove all of the children of the people who go on their demonstrations, however misguided they may be.”
Mrs McLeod has posted racist abuse on social networking sites but denies being racist. She claims she is no longer active with the EDL and has never been charged with violence against children.
Social workers have told her husband Martyn he would be unable to care for his child because he is a full-time soldier just back from Afghanistan.

Now if the Christian indigenous British population stood together like this each time one of their own was abused in like manner, I bet the officials would take a much different line on it than they do.

News is breaking of a Sikh protest in Luton, apparently prompted by the release of a man accused of sexually assaulting a Sikh girl. Given that Stephen Lennon of the EDL has stated that they will be joining the protest, the assumption must be that the alleged perpetrator of the assault was from a Muslim background. Some 250 Sikhs are reported as having gathered to protest outside of Luton Police Station. One Tweet also claims that some roads in the town have also been blocked off as a consequence. According to a brief report on the East Anglia EDL Division page, the man charged with the assault is of Pakistani origin. A report on a Sikh forum claims that the girl was dragged into some woodland and raped. The BBC reports that the alleged assault took place on Monday, and that a sit-down protest is taking place outside of Luton’s Buxton Road police station. Although it mentioned “members of the Sikh community”, the report contained no reference to the EDL.

As you watch, try to remember his incredulity at how other people dress, as he sits in public in a full evening gown and sandals, and his mocking tone at those who would follow those who have actually cultivated real skills, while expecting people to follow him because he learned a few lines from an 8th century tomb of murder, rape, horror and slavery.
Of course, the double irony here is that no one really wants to follow Lady Gaga or any other pop-star. They might want to incorporate bits of their fashion sense and thats all. This bearded clam expects people to imitate him, his ideas, his politics and violence and so on to the letter of Islamic scripture as he reads it to be.
There really is nothing more short sited and hypocritical than Islam and I mean hypocritical in the genuine sense, not the perverted Islamic one.

Try and read though the news reports about Muslims arrested, tried or convicted for rape, terrorism and other forms of violent anti-social behavior while you listen to how the BBC treat the only classically liberal organization left in the UK at this time.
