Pro-Western, Pro-Israel Jair Bolsonaro wins presidential election in Brazil

From our Brazilian correspondent with much thanks!

Hi Vlad: I am writing very briefly, as I want to join the street party outside. The feeling is as if Brazil has won the FIFA World Cup.

Jair Bolsonaro (Social Liberal Party – PSL) won the election! He got 55.2% of the valid votes beating Fernando Haddad (Worker’s Party – PT) who got 44.8%. As I had the opportunity to write to you a few times before hereand here, Bolsonaro had to go over more than the election campaign itself, but a stabbing (by a left-wing activist) and several threats. As a consequence, he spent most of the time constrained in his own house, surrounded by federal police agents, communicating with the people mostly by social media.

Bolsonaro was successful in deflecting the heavy barrage of accusations directed to him by the establishment in the past three weeks. Remember that the Worker’s Party governed Brazil since 2003. But the people was tired of the Worker’s Party, its rampant corruption and the way it transformed Brazil’s foreign policy, aligning with the worst countries in the world, the likes of Cuba, Venezuela and Iran.

One last thing. It is revolting, but not surprising, to see the globalist media running article after article coining Bolsonaro as sexist, homophobe, xenophobe, far-right, Fascist, Nazi, torturer, … a “deplorable.” Well, you know the drill.

Coming from where it comes, that is a compliment.

Iran attempts to influence presidential election in Brazil – even threatening Christians in the Middle East

The following is from our Portuguese speaking correspondent who has been following events in Brazil closely for some time.

Hi Vlad: Since our last communication, things took an interesting twist with evidences of Iran attempting to influence the presidential election in Brazil.

Two twitter messages from Walid Phares, Specialist in National Security and Foreign Policy at Fox News, mentions Iran’s interference in the presidential election in Brazil.

Hezbollah operates in the trafficking of heavy arms and drugs in South America and has spearheads in Venezuela and in the triple border between Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay. Hezbollah has connections with the PCC, a network of crime in Brazil.

Certainly, the election of Jair Bolsonaro election will reflect negatively on the criminal actions of this international terrorist group, which, as we are well aware, receives support from the Iranian government. It is also important to remember that Bolsonaro is pro-Israel, and he will modify Brazil’s foreign policy. Brazil will not be aligned with the likes of Iran any longer! Therefore, the worker’s Party (PT) candidate Fernando Haddad must be elected all cost. Brazil’s sovereignty is not in the interest of Iran.

The first message:

The second message is appalling! It indicates that Middle-East Christians are being pressured to ask the powerful Catholic Council of Bishops of Brazil to persuade Catholics to vote against Bolsonaro.

A major concern in Brazil is the safety of the electronic vote. Several IT experts claim it can be hacked.

So far, Bolsonaro remains ahead in the pools with a wide margin. Datafolha indicates Bolsonaro with 58% of valid votes against 42% for Haddad.

General elections: Brazil moves to the center-right

A few days ago, I asked a friend of ours, José Atento, who is a speaker of Portuguese, and a watcher of the political situation in Brazil and Portugal, to write up something to help us all understand what happened in the election, and who is this “Tropical Trump” who was stabbed, but won anyway. The letter below is his answer:

(Bold is mine)

Hi Vlad. Here is a summary of the situation in Brazil after today’s election. The situation is very complex and dynamic and the summary does not cover all details. Only a broad vision is provided.

Brazilian right-wing presidential candidate Jair Bolsonaro gestures after being stabbed in the stomach during a campaign rally in Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais State, in southern Brazil, on September 6, 2018.

The general elections in Brazil took place today (Sunday) and it is fair to say that it has been a tremendous victory for center-to-right parties, which will be majority in the two houses of Congress, and elected most state governors. The socialist Worker’s Party (PT), which have won all elections since 2002 has been relegated to a secondary plane, along with the other leftwing parties associated with it. The coveted and powerful position of president of the republic (remember, Brazil is a presidential system) has not been decided and it will require a second set of vote in three weeks.

Overall, the majority of the population is saying no to socialism.

Concerning the presidential election, Jair Bolsonaro, from the conservative Christian Social Party (PSC), has obtained 47% of the valid votes, whereas Fernando Haddad, from the Worker’s Party (PT), got 28%. Fernando Haddad tried to take advantage of the popularity that former president Luiz “Lula” da Silva still has. However, Lula is not as popular now. He is in jail, accused of bribery, condemned for 9 years behind bars. Lula faces many other judicial processes, and is accused of embezzlement.

Besides, Lula and his team controlled the largest corruption scheme in Brazil’s history, with several other PT officials and parliamentarians either in jail or facing justice. Other important elements of the private sector are also in jail, some of them owners of the largest engineering companies in Brazil. They would go overseas to friendly countries, such as Cuba and Venezuela, and build harbours, subway systems bridges, and a portion of the money would be donated back to PT to finance electoral campaigns. Add to that the disastrous government of PT’s Dilma Roussef. It left the country in recession, with high unemployment and rampant crime.

The attempts to impose gender ideology in the primary and secondary school systems angered the parents in this overwhelmingly Christian country.

Jair Bolsonaro, on the other hand, has been fighting the left, which has controlled Brazil and dragged the country to the gutter. His motto “Brazil above everything, God above all” and his vigorous opposition to socialism and communism has ignited a population tired of the socialist failures of the Worker’s Party government. He wants to open the economy, fight crime and respect the family. He is a nationalist who defends Brazil for the Brazilians. He remains the favourite to win the second round of presidential election.

One should keep in mind that Bolsonaro was stabbed by a left-wing sympathizer early during the campaign and had to undergo two surgeries. He is still convalescing and the only contact with his supporters started last week via short video clips, which cannot be longer than 15 minutes due to medical recommendation.

Today’s election was plagued with the accusation that 16,000 ballot boxes have been tampered with, favoring Haddad. We have to remember that Brazil uses a paperless electronic ballot box, which does not allow recount. Surprise, surprise, it is the same system used in Venezuela. This is cause of worry for the second round and PSC has even notified the Organization of the American States

One important thing for us is that Bolsonaro, if elected, will have majority in the Congress. His future minister of foreign affairs was one of the most tough critics of the Law of Immigration (a subject discussed on VladTepes ), which basically opened Brazil borders in a way that only Justin Trudeau would dream of and fits very well under the UN’s Global Compact for Immigration.

We hope that under Bolsonaro Brazil will modify this law and refuse to be part of the UN’s attempt to destroy our sovereignty. I believe that Eastern European countries have already expressed their intention to leave the agreement.

Brazil has a big problem with drug trafficking exacerbated by the operation of Hezbollah, in the triple border with Paraguay and Argentina and in Venezuela. Bolsonaro promises to be tough on crime.

Bolsonaro is also pro-Israel and very critical to the hate campaign that the Palestinian Authority and Hamas perform to indoctrinate their own people. He promises to move Brazil’s embassy to Jerusalem.

It is not surprising to see Bolsonaro under attack by the globalist media. A series of articles published by the likes of BBC, Foreign Policy, El País have blasted him to the point of calling him a deplorable (sexist, racist, xenophobe, homophobe, misogynist, etc.). Most of the media in Brazil is also against Bolsonaro but the more they beat him, the more he grows. Bolsonaro is the anti-establishment candidate, and, if elected, will be a proud member of the “deplorables international”, ranking shoulder-to-shoulder with the Easter European leaders and with the current US administration.

Brazil: Rally against Immigration Law, attacked by ANTIFA and Palestinians in downtown São Paulo.

There are a few groups who are obviously totally against the new, borderless immigration law and have started a campaign (mostly on social media and online petitions)  asking president Temer to veto the law (something we know will not happen as his government is closing several deals with the Gulf states).

There was this rally in São Paulo, Brazil’s largest city, which was properly registered with the Police. Things were going well until they were blocked by ANTIFA allied with a group of Syrian and Palestinian immigrants. One of them, Hasan Zarif, is the owner of a pub in São Paulo known as a gathering point for radical Left and radical Islam.

A bomb was thrown against the rally by the ANTIFA group as shown in this video.

The Military Police made several arrests and laid charges but they were released, helped by the action of socialist lawyers and I believe by a city counselour.

Thank you Pablo for the help with this one.

Brazil, first nation to officially eliminate its borders: Muslims welcome

An original article by José Atento for VladTepesBlog:

The article was written because of this Brazilian news item:

Brazil opens its borders to drug trafficking and Islamic Caliphate

New immigration law opens Brazil’s borders to trafficking and Islamic Caliphate

This article deals with the situation of the Islamization of Brazil in light of the new Law of Immigration, approved by the country’s Senate and sent for presidential signing. It highlights steps that have been taken to increase the nonexistent Islamic presence in Brazil into becoming an influential power. To understand the situation one needs to understand the deterioration of the political landscape of the country, which is briefly discussed in the course of the article (keeping in mind that politics in Brazil has a huge complicating factor: endemic corruption).

During an Islamic conference in Chicago in 2008 I heard the audio of a speech from an Imam in which he described how Brazil would become an Islamic nation within 50 years. I was aware of what was happening in the West but I thought that Brazil would not be in the axis of Islamic interest. I was wrong. After all, Brazil is the powerhouse of South America not just due to the size of the country (remember, Brazil is larger than the US without Alaska) but also due to the size of its economy and influence. It is said that where Brazil goes so goes South America.  Indeed.

In 1964 a democratic but USSR-leaning government was overthrown by the Brazilian military under the pretext of keeping Brazil from becoming a “New Cuba.” The military regime remained in power, relinquishing it slowly under pressure from a democratic front that encompassed politicians, civil society and the Brazilian Roman Catholic bishops, most of them adherents of the Liberation Theology. During this time communist-style guerrilla warfare took place and several of the guerrilla leaders ended up deported, mostly to Chile (under Allende), Cuba or France. In 1988, a new Constitution was promulgated and in 1989 presidential elections were held. The guerrilla leaders returned to the country under an amnesty law and joined a number of pro-Socialist parties. The most notable of them was the Labor Party (PT), led by the union leader Lula da Silva, who was compared by many to Lech Walesa and Václav Havel. The difference is that unlike Walesa and Havel, Lula wanted Socialism and Globalism.

Brazilian Extremist Group Pledges Allegiance to the Islamic State

An original translation by José Atento

From this website in Brazil:

Rafael Martins, Revista Exame

São Paulo – An extremist group in Brazil expressed support for the terrorist group Islamic State 18 days before the start of the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. The channel “Ansar al-Khilafah #Brazil” on the Telegram messaging application has been revealed by a team of specialized monitoring terror activity SITE Intelligence Group.

According to the director of the institution, Rita Katz, this is the first type of group to form in South America. As the Olympics near, the expert warns of the growing size and engagement of such groups with the date of sporting event so close.

“A channel Telegram called Ansar al-Khilafah #Brazil posted a pledge of allegiance to the leader of ISIS Baghdadi,” the tweet team.

Katz adds: “Declaration of fidelity to IS is the first of a group in South America. Worrying: Western languages channels (English, Portuguese, Spanish, German, etc.) has shown dramatic increase in size and engagement.”

Here are the tweets.

Rita is responsible for the group that had reported in June about the recent formation of an information service of ISIS in Portuguese and also have access to the video of the death of journalist Steven Joel Sotloff by the group even before its disclosure.

THE SITE (acronym for “Search for International Terrorist Entities”) is a highly recognized group in the United States, hired to monitor jihadist activities by the US government and private companies, as a kind of risk consultancy.

In 2004 Katz was praised by the FBI for his contributions to research on terrorism and, in 2007, his group was credited with finding the first videos of Osama bin Laden after three years of silence.

Pakistan: A Brazilian arrested for committing a blasphemous act in a mosque during Friday prayers

By tnr May 19, 2011

mosque

The mosque in question at the hour of prayer ….

rodrigo Islamabad – Rodrigo Moreto Cubek (photo), a young Brazilian lawyer in his thirties, was arrested last Friday after he shouted religious slogans Christians during weekly Muslim prayers in the biggest mosque in the country.

Dressed in traditional Pakistani clothes, he was among the crowd of believers and normally performed Muslim rites, but when the community was in the second rakat he stood up and shouted: “Long live Christianity” Long live the Virgin Mary “ and so on. As the ritual lasted nobody could stop him for not invalidate the prayers, but as soon as the imam had finished the prayer, security agents seized the mosque to surrender him to the municipal police.

He said he saw Christ in a dream and that he asked him to go to Pakistan to preach the gospel.
For the latest information the Pakistani justice system should require a medical examination and psychiatric and probably bring charges of “disturbing public order” to spare him the charge of “blasphemy” that would lead to the death penalty …

More from Brazilian media: Murderer linked to islamist groups

Thanks very much to Julio Lins for sending me this article and his translation of it from Portuguese.

Murderer linked to Islamist groups

Correio da Manhã

A scrapbook found at Wellington Menezes de Oliveira´s home, who on last Thursday has murdered 12 students in a school at Realengo neighbourhood, Rio de Janeiro, points to his belonging or has links to a radical Islamist group.

In the manuscripts, Wellington revealed he belong to an extremist group, said he passed at least 4 hours a day reading the Koran, the sacred book for Muslims, displayed fascination by terrorist acts and quotes two foreigners, Abdul and Phillip, representatives of the organization in Rio. “When I was introduced to them I revealed everything, I was very accepted by them and I felt there was a great delight”, wrote Wellington, who, in another passage, shows the intention of visiting Islamic countries, like Egypt and Malaysia. Wellington´s body, who had commited suicide when caught by the police during the killing spree at school, remains at Rio´s mortuary and could be buried by the State if anyone requests it. The five adopted brothers are scared about the possibility of being lynched if they show up publicly and don´t want to attend the funeral.

For the same reason, the neighbours of the house where the shooter lived are very scared, because strangers have been vandalizing the residence and properties nearby.
