Hatune Dogan, a Syrian-Orthodox nun of Turkish origin, explains here the dire situation that Christians find themselves in, as Islamist warriors take every concievable liberty against those they consider ‘infidel’, ‘impure’ and of inherently lesser value than Muslims.

Not only is this situation threatening to wipe out Christianit from where it arose, it also constitutes very grave suffering for the victims of Jihadists, Wahhabis and other ‘holy’ warriors out to establish Islam as the undisputed ruling principle in Syria and elsewhere.

The speech was held in a classical liturgic context, and was followed by an ecumenical prayer with representatives from a variety of churches:

Still being reported as if its just indefinable violence between gangs, or even the vague suggestion that Christians are the aggressors. Journalists, or more accurately whoever set this policy should be treated like complicit governments should reason ever prevail.

Reporters found themselves shocked when they attended a press conference in Vienna on 10th of December. Though they should be well informed on the persecution of Christians and, moreover, should inform their readers on this matter, they were caught by surprise. Sister Hatune, an Aramic nun who fled Turkey in 1985, told what she had witnessed during her aid campaigns in the Middle East. Sister Hatune was awarded the German Cross of Merit for her selfless commitment. Here is what she reports:

Later that day there was a march with torches against the persecution of Christians with a remarkable 1000 participants. Hopefully the movement keeps growing, so the topic is finally put on the agenda.

When audacity meets stupidity, this is the result: In Herne/Germany a DHL courier has recently delivered parcels dressed in costume that allegedly represented Saint Nicholas and greeted his customers with the familiar “ho, ho, ho”. Many of his customers appreciate this nice gesture especially in the weeks before Christmas, something he had done in his district for years. Now, a “customer of a different faith” (guess which one) has complained because his religious feelings had been offended. DHL and police have now asked the courier to leave off the garment.

Many citizens are indignant. The founders of our Constitution certainly had different thoughts referring to religious freedom. But it gets even better: The postman didn’t even dress as Saint Nicholas but as Santa, Santa, who has nothing to do with Saint Nicholas or religion at all, since he I simply the advertising figure of a well-known soft drink brand…
One obviously cannot expect citizens of a specific religion, appeasing DHL board and docile police to understand such “subtleties”.

And it still gets better: Last year DHL couriers had a badge on their jackets reading “Official Partner of Santa”. So, a marketing gag is regarded as discrimination within a year. Amazing how fast hostile take-over of our country proceeds.

Asia Bibi has been on death row in Pakistan for four years now. The Christian mother of five daughters worked as a day labourer on a field. When she was told to get water for the workers, the Muslim women refused to drink it. Since a Christian woman had touched the jar, the water had become impure. Rumours were spread. Asia Bibi was said to have insulted “Prophet” Mohammed. By an angry Muslim crowd she was dragged to the mosque where she was told to renounce her Christian faith. When she refused, she was first beaten, then committed to local police, and later sentenced to death for blasphemy.

On December 7th, Sabatina James, a Pakistani convert to Christianity, organised a rally and a candlelight vigil for Aisa Bibi and all persecuted Christians in the world in the German City of Stuttgart. Again some angry Muslims tried to disturb the vigil, but after smashing a glass on the ground, they had to draw back, since the protesters were simply too many. This clearly shows what it takes to stop the persecution of Christians – more of us!

Now, Christmas is getting closer, and many Christians in Syria, Egypt and other Muslim countries fear for their lives. Maybe this video can encourage some people to finally stand up against this.

Germany: Unprecedented Series of Violence against Christian Symbols

Burned crosses, smashed statues – there have been 26 cases reported since September. The German Muensterland region faces a series of violence against Christian symbols that is without precedent in history. Having even climbed over high fences with sharp spikes, offenders acted with complete determination. National media haven’t reported about the incidents so far. Only the local television channel has made it the “topic of the day”. These attacks stand in a line with the recent Allahu akbar-graffiti at four German churches. Fortunately, police was able to get hold of the offender of the islamic graffiti, a Muslim asylum seeker from Jordan. So, unsurprisingly police in Muensterland has said that the attacks there are presumably religiously motivated. Anything more would have probably been “islamophobic”.

By way of comparison, if you remember when five pig heads were found recently on a future building site of a mosque in Leipzig? Member of Parliament Sigmar Gabriel called it an “attack on society”. Guess what he said about the 27 cases of desecration in Muensterland. You’re right – nothing.

Augsburg: “Allahu akbar”-Graffiti on Churches

On the night to Thursday, the Arabic words “Allahu Akbar” were painted on the portals of several churches in the city centre of Augsburg. According to local police, the Cathedral, the Church of St. Maurice and the Protestant Ullrich Church are affected. At the Cathedral both the north and the south portals were painted with white letters. Hard to imagine a mosque would have been affected. Claudia Roth (Member of Parliament for the Green Party) probably would have organized a candlelight vigil in her hometown because of an “Islamophobic attack” and would have called for an alliance against fascism. However, it were churches, and thus, that “little night time graffiti prank” is only worth small footnotes in the newspaper Augsburger Allgemeine (with photos) and the broadcasting centre BR and will soon be forgotten.
