Horrific ordeal of bride in forced marriage who was knocked out with chloroform and raped by husband she had just met

In the fine tradition of the founder of Islam himself, The Pirate Mohamed, someone who takes “Following the example of the prophet” seriously managed to pull the following off.

I remind the reader that one of Mohamed’s ‘wives’ was a women who’s real husband and sons Mohamed had just slaughtered in his taking of a Jewish city and when he saw this weeping horrified widow who had just lost her children as well, he ordered a few words muttered at her and then she was his legal property or ‘wife’ in Islamic terms.

A husband who knocked out his virgin wife with chloroform and raped her has been jailed for eight years.

The 35-year-old man tied the woman to a bed and knocked her out using the ‘obsolete Victorian anaesthetic’ on at least two occasions during their six weeks of marriage.

The woman, a Bangladeshi immigrant who was 21 at the time, had repeatedly refused to have sex with her new husband because she was too nervous.

The husband, who cannot be named for legal reasons, poured the chloroform onto a towel, pressed it over her face, then tied her up before raping her at his home in Poplar, east London.

Dress modestly: Masked men enter girls’ school, thrash students

Fear grips Satellite Town schools as 60 men beat up students for dressing ‘inappropriately’.

RAWALPINDI: In a first for the garrison city, sixty masked men carrying iron rods barged into a girls’ school in Rawalpindi and thrashed students and female teachers on Friday.

The gang of miscreants also warned the inmates at the MC Model Girls High School in Satellite Town to “dress modestly and wear hijabs” or face the music, eyewitnesses said.

Fear gripped the area following the attack and only 25 of the 400 students studying in the college were present on Saturday. The school employs 30 female teachers.

Attendance in other educational institutions also remained low. After hearing about the attack, all schools in the city shut down, an official of the Rawalpindi District Administration (RDA) told The Express Tribune.

A student of the girls’ school managed to inform the administration of the nearby boys’ high school of the attack. “[However,] the armed gang was so powerful that we could not rescue our teachers and colleagues over there,” Noail Javed, a grade 10 student, said. Continue Reading →

Christians fear Islamist pressure in Egypt

CAIRO (AP) — On her first day to school, 15-year-old Christian student Ferial Habib was stopped at the doorstep of her new high school with clear instructions: either put on a headscarf or no school this year.

Habib refused. While most Muslim women in Egypt wear the headscarf, Christians do not, and the move by administrators to force a Christian student to don it was unprecedented. For the next two weeks, Habib reported to school in the southern Egyptian village of Sheik Fadl every day in her uniform, without the head covering, only to be turned back by teachers.

One day, Habib heard the school loudspeakers echoing her name and teachers with megaphones leading a number of students in chants of “We don’t want Ferial here,” the teenager told The Associated Press. Continue Reading →

Muslims in Spain Declare Jihad on Dogs

Coming to a city near all of us. Our freedoms are being eroded at record speed. Anything Mohamed didn’t like, will soon be impossible for us. Mohamed shortly after attacking, raping and pillaging the city of Yathrib, now called, ‘Medina’, ordered his army to slaughter every dog in the city, including but not limited to, a helper dog for a disabled woman who lived alone, despite the protests of one of his own commanders.

Now its Spain’s turn.

Spanish authorities are investigating the recent deaths by poisoning of more than a dozen dogs in Lérida, a city in the northeastern region of Catalonia that has become ground zero in an intensifying debate over the role of Islam in Spain.

All of the dogs were poisoned in September (local media reports here, here, here, here and here) in Lérida’s working class neighbourhoods of Cappont and La Bordeta, districts that are heavily populated by Muslim immigrants and where many dogs have been killed in recent years.

Local residents say Muslim immigrants killed the dogs because according to Islamic teaching dogs are “unclean” animals.

Over the past several months, residents taking their dogs for walks have been harassed by Muslim immigrants opposed to seeing the animals in public. Muslims have also launched a number of anti-dog campaigns on Islamic websites and blogs based in Spain. Continue Reading →

The beach is crowded with men these days. Powerful, muscled Dagestani men, who practice martial arts and wrestle on the littered sand of the Caspian Sea shore in the capital city of Makhachkala. Some sit around, enjoying boiled ears of corn with butter and salt; others play soccer or ride on their buddies’ shoulders in the waves, competing to see who can last longest without collapsing into the water. Rare groups of shy women in long flannel dresses enter the sea holding children by the hand; their long skirts and colorful hijabs immediately soak up salty water, like sponges. Bikinis? There are almost none. The social change here has been fast and radical: just two summers ago, only a smattering of women swam in their long dresses and scarves on Russia’s Caspian Sea beaches. This year, public opinion in the region—the place with the highest level of terrorist attacks in Russia—decided to put an end to the “sinful” display of women’s bodies. The appearance of a rare tourist in a modern swimsuit elicits frowns, and a grumpy comment in the local language. One word is always clear: haram or “forbidden.”

 To make life easier for both women who want to swim yet have no bathing robes (nicknamed burkinis), and for men keen on playing on the beach without violating the dictates of Islam, the state opened the first Sharia-compliant beach in Russia this month. Named “Mountain Woman Beach,” it’s a gated community, open to women, girls and boys younger than 6 years of age. Visitors can rest in comfortable wooden shelters to escape the heat or swim in the ocean without the burden of burkinis. The beach is proof enough, if any were needed, of the rise of Islam in Russia. Lahore (AsiaNews) – The rape of Christian women in Punjab has become a “common practice” an “outrageous” phenomenon compounded by the fact that “the police protect the guilty” and not the victims. This is the bitter synopsis of Fr Jill John, of the Diocese of Lahore on the last recorded case of sexual violence against a Christian mother. The family calls for justice, but is struggling against a society in which the defenders of the law support the rapists. Even human rights groups like Masihi Life for All Foundation have intervened on the matter, asking government authorities to target the perpetrators of crimes and punish the corrupt and conniving police officers.

Sweden: Imam calls to kill converts on Radio Sweden Via Dagen (Swedish): “It is the duty of every Muslim to kill those who leave Islam.” This statement was made on Radio Sweden recently when an Imam from Rinkeby (Stockholm) was allowed to speak about how people should act against Somalis who convert to Christianity.

The program with the death threats against converts was broadcast by the Somali department of Radio Sweden and was a follow-up on a previous segment about a group of Christian Somalis who came to Rinkeby Square to evangelize. They also got to talk about it in the radio report.

Men banned from some events in Australia, because Muslim women may be there.

MAN bans are spreading as two more council functions are declared off-limits because it is “not appropriate” for men to mix with Muslim women.

And in a surprise twist, VCAT backed the latest bans, declaring there was no discrimination and councils no longer needed to apply for exemptions.

The Darebin City Council ban will be in force for a music concert to be held in December, while another female-only event to mark the end of Ramadan was cancelled last week.

The council sought the bans because it was “culturally inappropriate for young women to participate in recreational activity with males present”.

But Ratepayers Victoria president Jack Davis said the bans were “another case of segregation”.

“I think it is totally wrong. I think it’s ridiculous and I do think it is discrimination, and it goes against what the average ratepayer wants,” Mr Davis said. Continue Reading →

Cultural enrichment in Gellerupparken

My Experiences with a Danish Sharia-Zone

On the front page of today’s edition of [Danish newspaper] Ekstra-Bladet you can see the headline ‘Here, sharia law applies’, and a map of the areas of the country where the imams and so-called cultural societies have established an alternative judicial system based on sharia law.

One of these areas is Gellerupparken, where I used to live and participate in what I thought was an effort to integrate immigrants into society. A feature article in the newspaper says that according to experts, these areas will, in the course of 10-15 years, be anti-democratic. I’ll stipulate that depending on what you mean by “democratic”, Gellerup has already turned that corner.

Unfortunately, the criticisms coming from Islam-sceptics like myself are almost always swept off the table with the remark that we are stupid and ignorant. Therefore in the following I will present my credentials and background for talking about conditions in Gellerup, so that the readers themselves can judge whether I am ignorant or not.

When I returned home from seminary in London in 2004, I had no possessions except for some boxes with my books in them — and the clothes on my back. I had no money and no place to live. A couple of months later I got my apartment — in Gellerupparken, because back then as now it was very quick and easy to get an apartment there. On top of that the apartments were actually surprisingly lovely, in spite of the reputation the area had.

After some time I became an active member of the society called ‘Multikulturel Forening’ [Multicultural Society]. I even became its vice-president. But before then, very soon after moving in, actually, I had new neighbours. It was a very nice guy who moved in along with his family — among them a son in a wheelchair. No one in the family spoke any language other that Arabic, so I never got to talk to any of them. But they always greeted me with big smiles and a lot of warmth, and they as well as the master of the house made a fantastic impression. His name was Shaykh Raed Hlayhel. Shaykh Hlayhel was imam in the mosque on Grimshøjvej, but that interested me little back then. Later, when the whole cartoon crisis erupted, I learned with amazement that my good neighbour was one of the imams who travelled and spread lies about Denmark throughout the Middle East.

“Women’s Mountain ” inaugurated in Makhachkala. Access permitted only to female swimmers and children. Even the lifeguards will be exclusively female.

Moscow (AsiaNews) – A beach for women only, in accordance with sharia, was opened in Makhachkala, the capital of the republic of Dagestan, a high-level terrorist area but which the Kremlin is trying to turn into a tourist destination, as throughout the North Caucasus.

The name of the beach is special ” Women’s Mountain “, as announced at the presentation ceremony on September 7 by Khanum Aliyeva, deputy mayor of the city on the Caspian Sea.

Access to the beach will be permitted only to women and children under six years of age, while the staff, including lifeguards, will be exclusively women, added Aliyeva quoted by Itar-Tass. He later explained: “Very often due to prejudices, attitudes and lack of security, women can not enjoy the benefits of a swim or sea air. But now more and more women in our country, and abroad, are asking to be able to relax on the beaches of Makhachkala. ”

The ” Women’s Mountain ” is located in the district of Reduktorny and is divided into two parts: one equipped with wooden cabins and the other the beach itself. The structure was financed by private investors with the support of the local the city council. (N.A.)

 

John Robson on the Muslim rumble at the US amusement park

AT LAST. Someone gets it right. Everytime I watch someone comment on issues Islamic they discuss Islamic law and whether or not it really requires X, Y or Z. They always ignore what really matters. That Muslims are voluntary observers of their faith in Canada, and therefore have choices to make in terms of their observance and what is in contradiction to it.

Thank you John Robson. My ambassador to the obvious. And as I see genius as the ability to see and speak the obvious, that is high praise by my way of thinking.
