Italy: ‘She does not want to wear the veil. He kills her children to punish her’

It seems that he no longer supported the habits of his wife including the fact that she had decided to no longer wear the veil as dictated by the tradition of the women if their country. This is the explanation given by the Corriere Della Sera.
Their country of course is Morocco, whom originates Mustafa Hajjaji, 44 Years old and his wife, ten years his junior. But the drama took place in the city where they had immigrated, Umbertide in the Perouse province, Ombrie region. It is there that Tuesday night, [Government officials] alerted by the wife, found in the bathroom the cadavers of two of the couple’s children, Ahmed, 8 years old, and Jiahane, 12 years old.
Their father was lying near them after he was transported to the service of reanimation of the hospital of Citta Di Castello, and is now out of danger.
Just a month ago a woman had complained against her husband for threats of being hit and injuries and poor treatment. She had explained to the government officials of Citta Di Castello that her husband had brandished a knife against her. In the past the man had notably threatened on motive that she had stopped wearing the veil.
Before attempting to commit suicide the Moroccan had traced with blood on the walls, inscriptions in Arabic that are barely legible. He has also left a paper. The investigators attempt to decipher and to translate the messages in hope of finding explanations to the double murder. According to the Corriere della Sera, Mustafà Hajjaji wanted to punish his wife perhaps because after stopping wearing the veil, she had decided to leave her husband.
A response to ‘Mahdi’ from the DISCUS post that wouldn’t
The Toronto Sun had an interesting article which we posted here the other day on an Afghan man who blamed his own brain as if somehow that absolved him, for the near decapitation of his wife. A rather interesting comment thread developed under the article and I found myself in a conversation with a certain ‘Mahdi’ defending Islam and it’s values in Canada.
I formulated a reply which took a certain amount of time and effort and DISCUS refused to publish it, probably more to lingering code in a clip and paste of Koran than for content. DISCUS and the Toronto Sun are both pretty good about not censoring comments so I am pretty confident it is some technical issue with DISCUS.
In any case, I thought I would offer his comment and my answer here and perhaps I will paste this link over at the site so he can read it should he choose to.

them…’Then we have the fact that
Mohamed commanded his gang of pirates and thugs to murder the Jewish tribes of Banu Koriza.Islam teaches that Mohamed murdered over 700 captives, meaning unarmed and prisoners and no threat to anyone, with his own sword.
That covers the mass murderer remark.
What I should have added was serial rapist as he then went and raped a Jewish woman after killing her husband and son right in front of her.
Few women are turned on by that as a rule. So it’s pretty safe to call it rape. Not to mention the whole, ‘all the women that your right hand posses’ business.
Mohamed of course used rhetorical tricks, much as you do, all the time to get away with what were plainly crimes. So calling a caravan you raid for loot or slaughtering a village full of farmers to take their stuff and rape their women a battlefield is a lot like the trick of attacking people who refuse to convert and calling that, ‘defending Islam’.

Jury gets glimpse into accused murderer’s state of mind

TORONTO – The self-pitying voice of the Afghan immigrant accused of savagely murdering his wife in an alleged honour killing echoed through the courtroom, as he blamed insomnia and his “brain” for losing control.
But for nearly decapitating his wife of 30 years, Peer Khairi never expressed any regret.
The jury watched as Khairi, then 61, appeared on the video monitors before them, dressed in the white disposable biohazard suit he’d been given following his arrest for murder on March 18, 2008. About 12 hours after being taken into custody, he was brought into a small interview room at 22 Division for a recorded interview with homicide detectives, a Dari interpreter at his side.
But unfortunately for the police and the prosecution, a technical glitch caused the video to cut out only 77 minutes into their three-hours and 20 minutes of questioning.
Still, it is fascinating to watch him even for that short time. Since the trial began, the small, grey-haired man has sat silently in the prisoner’s box, listening intently as an interpreter translates the prosecutors’ case against him: alleging the bitter immigrant, unable to speak English or get a job, finally lashed out after watching with increasing rage as his wife Randjida, 53, and his six children no longer obeyed him, choosing to adopt their new culture rather than respect his authoritarian Muslim ways.
Khairi admits inflicting his wife’s horrific injuries — using one knife to slice right through her neck and another to stab her five times through the chest and back — but is expected to argue that he didn’t have the legal intent to commit murder.

TORONTO — Randjida Khairi paid the ultimate price for standing up to her Afghan Muslim husband and letting their children live as Westerners, a jury heard Friday.
The mother of six had her throat slashed by Peer Khairi, slit open to the spine and slowly suffocated in her own blood, Crown attorney Robert Kenny said in his opening to the jury.
“She was in the process of separating her finances and moving out of the family home,” Kenny said. “There had been fights between the couple about how permissive she was in raising their children, how she allowed them to dress and socialize as they liked, rather than asserting more control over their behaviour so that they kept the culture and rules of their birthplace.”
Khairi, now 65, has pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder in the March 18, 2008 slaying of Randjida, 53, his wife of more than 30 years, at their West Mall penthouse apartment.
But Peer Khairi will admit that he inflicted the fatal injuries, Kenny said. “What is at issue is how the death happened and what was going through the accused’s mind when it happened.

MONTREAL – For months, Bahar Ebrahimi had been rebelling against her parents, complaining their Afghan culture and Muslim religion were suffocating her. “I want to enjoy my life. I want to feel what the other ones feel,” she told them, according to her mother’s statement to police.
It was June, 2010, Grand Prix weekend in downtown Montreal, and on two straight nights the 19-year-old stayed out past dawn against her parents’ wishes.
For her mother, Johra Kaleki, the behaviour confirmed that all her efforts to steer her eldest daughter on the right path had failed. “I felt like she would never be fixed,” she told Sgt.-Det. Alexandre Bertrand in an interrogation video played Wednesday in Quebec Court.

CALGARY — The toddler who can be identified only as Baby M is not quite clinically brain dead, but close to it. Lying in a virtual vegetative state in an Edmonton hospital, doctors can see tiny eye movements. They’ve recorded a few functioning reflexes.
But for all intents and purposes, the 27-month-old is gone. She can neither breathe, nor feed herself. She has no pupil responses, no personality, no awareness. Her doctors say she is paralyzed and has virtually no hope of recovery: What little time is left to her will be marked by more bouts of pneumonia and blood infection, made all the worse by the possibility of some still-intact animal instinct for suffering. She’d have to have an invasive tracheotomy — an incision into the throat — to help her breathe.
Her doctors have advised all artificial life support be withdrawn.
The interesting thing is that you would think that the law around who has legal authority in this kind of case would be settled, but in fact it’s not
Normally, this would be the most difficult decision her parents would ever have to face: What makes Baby M’s story so unusual is that her parents are the ones accused of putting her in the hospital in the first place.
Citing love and religious convictions, the toddler’s 34-year-old Muslim parents are asking to keep their child alive against doctors’ recommendations.
Court of Queen’s Bench Justice June Ross is expected to offer her ruling on Friday.
Currently sitting in the Edmonton Remand Centre, the couple, who cannot be named, have been charged with aggravated assault, negligence causing bodily harm and failing to provide the necessities of life.
Forbidden from talking to each other even about their own child’s care, the pair is caught in a legal quagmire: They technically retain the right to make decisions about Baby M’s fate, even if the child’s life or death will determine their own charges.

The parents’ other two children — Baby M’s twin sister, who was also found badly malnourished, and a boy, who was not — have been taken into protective custody. But Baby M remains in her parents’ care and the government has called on the courts to decide whether or not to let her die.

This looks like a great bunch of guys. Of course because they speak the obvious truth, that Australian culture is superior to Islamic and African cultures, they must be “far right” and “xenophobic.” This is highly aggravating. If a Hutu decided he felt his culture was better than Australia’s and decided to stay in Rwanda would he be a xenophobe or just have a preference for the familiar? The article is written on a massive anti Australian slant but even through that you get the idea. This is a great bunch of guys.
The Mail claims that Israel will strike Iran within weeks and certainly before the US election. Of course they can’t know that even if they think they do. Very few people likely know when, if and especially how Israel will attack Iran if it does in a recognizable way.
But one can always hope.
Meanwhile, the British Government desperate to diffuse the worlds vision now that it has noticed that the UK has two quite distinct sets of laws, one for white indigenous British and one for the protected classes, non-whites and especially Muslims, have actually arrested a black girl who did quite a racist rant on public transport, so closely resembling the white girls who have been jailed for these sorts of statements so well one just has to wonder who wrote this for her. It will be slightly interesting to watch the results and more importantly, to see if she actually serves any time even if sentenced to any compared to the white girls who were treated very harshly by the system.
But the UK government really doesn’t get the point. There should have been no penalty at all for people speaking their minds. England is supposed to be a country of free speech even if it is unfashionable. But then, we are talking about a political culture that actually arrested a front man for a popular band singing at a British resort because the song, a popular 1970s massive hit’s lyrics was offensive to a passer by who happened to be ethnically Chinese.
The song? Kung Fu Fighting.

This is the dramatic moment a murder suspect was arrested in connection with the horrific stabbing of a woman in the back of a taxi.
The man, named locally as Junior Saleem Oakes, was arrested in the garden of a house just 100 yards away from the scene of the attack in Birmingham after a day-long hunt by armed officers.
The picture emerged as relatives paid tribute to the 22-year-old victim, named locally as Natasha Trevis, who suffered a cardiac arrest after being stabbed multiple times.

Raheela, 22 years old, received one fatal point-blank shot in the neck when the judges returned to the court room from a break at around 11:30 am.
HYDERABAD: The courts are one place where the couples, who marry against the will of their families have felt safe in a province which is a hotbed for honour killings, have considered to be their safest refuge. However, the cold-blooded murder of Raheela Sehto on Wednesday, right in front of a bench of Sindh High Court will make to-be couples stop and think for sure.
Raheela, 22 years old, received one fatal point-blank shot in the neck when the judges had returned from a break at around 11:30 am. She was killed by a lawyer, Javed Iqbal Shaikh, whose black coat helped him manage to sneak in the weapon. He is also her brother.
“He [Javed] tried to come near Raheela many times but the police pushed him back,” said Zafar Sehto, Raheela’s brother-in-law. “But he succeeded to get to her when people stood up the judges entered the courtroom after the break.”
Zafar said that these few seconds distracted the police and Javed executed Raheela. He also tried to kill her husband, Zulfiqar Sehto, but the police grabbed him before he could take an aim.

A Muslim preacher who tried to strangle his 16-year old daughter after she refused to enter into an arranged marriage with her cousin has avoided jail.
Abid Hussain, 56, grabbed the neck of Rabiyah Abid and said: ‘If you don’t follow my rules I will kill you’ after she rejected his plans for her to wed.
Hussain also left the teenager in fear of her life as he battered her about the head at the family home above the mosque he runs at Longsight, Manchester.
The father-of-five had snapped after discovering Rabiyah refused to follow strict Islamic tradition and embarked on a romance with a student she had met on Facebook.
She had previously run away from home to be with him and even helped police draw up a court order banning her father from forcing her into the marriage.
At Manchester Crown Court yesterday Hussain was convicted of assault and making threats to kill. He admitted his daughter’s conduct had ‘brought shame’ on his family and caused him ‘mental torture’ but denied wrongdoing.
His two sons Nawab Uddin, 23, and Bahaud Uddin, 21 were also convicted of assaulting the teen.

A Coventry taxi driver has been found guilty of murdering a vulnerable Coventry woman and dumping her body in a canal.
Mazhar Rashid, 43, of Stoney Stanton Road, will serve a minimum of 17 years in prison for killing Emma Ewart, 27, last May.
Judge Sir Michael Astill said Rashid had “taken advantage of a vulnerable young woman”.
CNN distorts, conceals, fabricates news to white wash Islam clean of wrongdoing.
In this CNN video of the well reported murder of a woman in Afghanistan, CNN does everything it can to scrub Islam as a motive and justification for this action out of it, to the extent that it is not just, not news. It is in fact misleading propaganda.
The fact that they use a fellow named Mohamed to talk about it I can live with. I don’t care who tells the truth about a thing I care that the truth is told. But not only did he not tell the truth about this event, but my feeling is they deliberately used someone named Mohamed to condemn this action to further create the impression that Islam is not a factor but actually something which condemns this kind of action.
When Mohamed says at 1:04 “they actually appeared to be cheering” he fails to mention that the ‘cheer’ was,
“Allah Hu Ackbar” and “long live the Afghan Mujahadeen” which of course means Muslim holy warrior.
Not including this information utterly transforms the nature of this event in the mind of the viewer. It makes it look just like a warped act by a few Afghans.
I can’t find raw video of the whole thing. But at least in the one below, you get a clearer impression of what took place.
I also have spoken to enough Afghan veterans that I even doubt these were ‘Taliban’ as much as they could have been any group of devout Muslims who did this for whatever reason they wanted to do it.
There have been many incidents of killing of people in Afghanistan that the Western media has reported as Taliban when in fact it was tribal, and sometimes for reasons we would even consider as rational and other times not.
The first casualty of war is truth. This much I accept. But if we lie to ourselves about the motives of the enemy, then it isn’t a war. It is a mass surrender.
A husband and his family have been found guilty of murdering a pregnant young wife – Birmingham

West Midlands Police:
A HUSBAND and his family have been found guilty of murdering a pregnant young wife at her Birmingham home, in the belief that she had been possessed by Jinn spirits.
Naila Mumtaz died in hospital on 8 July 2009, after being found collapsed at her home in Craythorne Avenue. Paramedics were called to the address by family members, however the 21-year-old could not be saved and she was pronounced dead a short time later.
Naila, who was six-months pregnant at the time of her death, died as a result of smothering, according to a post mortem examination, and the trial heard that members of her husband’s family had deliberately caused her death.
The court heard how Naila’s husband, father-in-law, mother-in-law, and her sister-in-law’s husband believed that the young woman, who had arrived in Birmingham some two years earlier from Pakistan, had been possessed by Jinn spirits.
