This woman is a throwback to the days when truth and facts actually mattered when it came to setting policy. Coincidentally, when truth and facts where factors in policy as opposed to political correctness, the narrative and insistence that if you force people to believe a thing it will be true (political wish-craft) the US economy was tops in the world and people enjoyed the greatest amount of genuine freedoms and rights.

Muslims living in America should not be bound by U.S. law, according to a leader of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, who delivered the controversial message to a crowd at a Muslim rally in Austin, Texas.
“If we are practicing Muslims, we are above the law of the land,” said Mustafa Carroll, executive director of the Dallas-Fort Worth CAIR branch.
The rally in Austin was part of a nationwide effort to hold “Muslim Capitol Day” events.
According to the event website, Muslims from around Texas went to the capitol to “promote civic and political activism throughout the wider Muslim community.”
This is interesting. Although it is from March 2011, it is new to me.

As many people make promises to themselves to improve their lives or their societies in the coming year, here is a suggested New Year’s resolution for media outlets in America and worldwide: Drop the term “Islamist.”
The Associated Press (AP) added the term to its influential Stylebook in 2012. That entry reads: “Islamist — Supporter of government in accord with the laws of Islam. Those who view the Quran as a political model encompass a wide range of Muslims, from mainstream politicians to militants known as jihadi.”
The AP says it sought input from Arabic-speaking experts and hoped to provide a neutral perspective by emphasizing the “wide range” of religious views encompassed in the term.

Last Friday, the Law Offices of David Yerushalmi, P.C. and the American Freedom Law Center (AFLC) filed a devastating legal brief supported by hundreds of pages of evidence, asking a federal judge to find the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) liable to five of its former clients for fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. The legal brief demonstrates beyond any reasonable doubt that CAIR is a criminal organization that deceptively holds itself out to the public as the nation’s largest Muslim-American civil rights organization.

The following is the presentation given by Robert Muise, who is the co-founder of the American Freedom Law Center, at the CPAC 2012 event hosted by Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer.
To say that Robert and Pamela had some difficulty in staging the “Islamic Law in America” lectures, would be an exercise in understatement. It was clear from the beginning that the CPAC organizers were desperate to undermine and marginalize discussion of Jihad and Sharia at the foremost conservative political conference in the world, and that alone should be reason enough for them to be ashamed of themselves.
But to do so in such a crucial election year? That’s both startling and dangerous!

Fascinating and frightening in equal measure:
It is very important how this is argued and handled. This is a classic case of a Muslim making the claim that she should be allowed to run willy nilly over everyone else’s rights so that she may do anything she wishes if she can link it to her superstition.
If I walk into a gas station with a pair of 45 Cal revolvers and they call the police, are they violating my rights as a person who once visited Texas and liked it? The analogy is flawless. This women, if indeed it is a woman, was denied service not for anything she believes, but because she was wearing a disguise. She can believe the ocean is pink lemon aid if she wants but she cannot be covered from head to toe and expect to receive full service from everyone, especially when wearing a disguise is, in most places, illegal.
Once again, the answer to this debate is not to create more soft totalitarianism by asking governments to regulate women’s clothing. It is to stop making exceptions for Muslims to break the laws we already have.
Remember. Every-time we ask government to regulate issues that government have no business being involved with, even though it seems like a great idea at the time, it always ends badly. Just like the ‘hate speech laws’ that everyone figured would prevent another holocaust against the Jews, and now clearly are being better utilized by Muslims working towards one at every level up to and perhaps especially at the U.N.

As Mike Bates of WEBY opined at the start of the interview, the sub-text is “has the Arab Spring turn wintry for Jews and Christians in the Middle East.”
First of all, I want to thank you all for reading this site for the past year. It is an unexpected surprise to me to see how many click over to Vlad T to see what is posted. Initially, I suppose about 4 or 5 years ago now, I started this to support the excellent work of three of my favorite sites, Gates of Vienna, The Religion of peace, and Klein Verzet, an English site out of Holland.
Since then I have had the opportunity to work at various levels with all these people and even film Geert Wilders at a speech and interview Robert Spencer a few times while he was in Australia.
I feel very lucky to have seen my path forged this way. It is largely also thanks to all of you who read here. Your encouragement, comments and many of you have also made donations to the site, much appreciated especially now that I have to run a VPS at the host company which is quite expensive compared to the nominal cost of a basic website that thousands of Muslims and leftists do not try to taken down.
The past couple of days posting has been a bit light. For a couple of reasons I have been needing a break of sorts. One might argue that intensity is inverse to duration and as I tend to work fairly intensely now and again one needs to idle down a touch for a bit.
But there are events that are important and need to be mentioned nonetheless.
The shutting down of Bare Naked Islam by WordPress. While I have been getting emails about this since it happened I wanted to investigate it before I said anything about it. Well I haven’t but Ill say something anyway.
As I understand it, WordPress suspended and possibly cancelled the site because of comments left there. These comments were threats that may have also carried the acid test of a threat, ‘immediacy’. In other words, if someone in a fit of rage says something about what they would like to see done to a person or group, well this may be allowable under some circumstances as it is part of the ordinary parlance of human speech. But if you say “I will do X to group Y tomorrow afternoon” then you have indeed, under US law at least, committed a crime.
It seems that WordPress is holding BNI responsible for the comments people leave on their site. Comments that one might assume are from people outraged at the actual events that Muslims do in the name of Islam around the world. However it seems also likely that these comments are planted by groups interested in eliminating voices of opposition to Islamic conquest, or of that is too harsh, voices which are critical of things sacred to Muslims. Much of the gossip around this issue seems to indicate CAIR. There may be a history there I don’t know yet. But it’s still very important to point out that BNI, a brother in arms one might say, has been silenced by wordpress will countless Muslim sites that demand the overthrow of Western democratic governments and so on remain active.

And now, I had better go hunting for comments left as bread crumbs for censors. If these comments were from genuine outraged readers, then I hope you will understand why I am deleting them. If they are from CAIR well what can I say except I hope you enjoy my next and most creative Koran-burning video yet.

CAIR causes wordpress to ask blogger to be responsible for comments advising actual activism or very nearly so.
Man I love that guy. He was quoting a great moment in US military history as well. Of course the TV station seemed to know that but neglected to factor it in when they interviewed people about the letter West sent to CAIR. I guess that means that this particular TV station wanted to make all those people look like idiots as they knew West was quoting General Anthony Clement “Nuts” McAuliffe, but didn’t bother to explain that to the people they showed the letter too.
I guess that shows how much contempt the mainstream, mostly leftist media have for the public to set them up like that just to make a conservative look foolish.
And of course he handles him with ease.
