Denmark: The Queen says about immigrants: “We must be welcoming, but we must also let them know what we expect”

In an interview with the Danish newspaper Berlingske, Danish Queen Margrethe states firmly that it is important not to let ourselves be cowed when terror hits Danish society, and that it is important to protect the values ??that Denmark stands for.
Queen Margrethe urges Danes not to let themselves be cowed by the kind of terror that has not only hit Denmark but also a number of other European countries.
During the weekend of the 14th-15th February, when the gang member Omar El-Hussein killed Finn Nørgaard and Dan Uzan and wounded several police officers before he was shot, it was an assault on both freedom of expression and the Jewish community.
In the interview with Berlingske on the occasion of her 75th birthday on 16 April, Queen Margrethe does not hide the fact that the assassinations confronted Danes with a new reality, and that it raises the question of how free and open societies need to respond to terrorists who want to destroy them. According to the Queen, Denmark was put under pressure by the assassination.
“It would be absurd to say that we are not under pressure. There is pressure, but what is important is how we tackle it,” said the Queen.
The Danish ‘reaction was what the ruler had thought and expected.
“It came as no surprise to me that people took it calmly. That much I know about my fellow citizens. I have confidence in how they tackle events, especially when it’s the really big things. We can get excited about small things; they do not matter so much. What is important is that we keep a cool head when the big things happen,” she says.

Anti-Islam protesters gathered outside Colin Barnett’s offices on Harvest Terrace to take part in the national Reclaim Australia series of rallies.
A short distance away in Solidarity Square, close to Parliament House, a group of anti-racist protesters gathered to demonstrate against Reclaim Australia.

Belgium’s far-right Vlaams Belang party launched a new campaign on Thursday. It invites all Muslims ‘who don’t feel at home here’ (in Belgium) and those who want Sharia Law to return to their country of origin.
A contest to win ten airline tickets to the ‘Islamic country of your choice’ is also part and parcel of the provocative campaign titled ‘East West? Home Sweet Home!’ – as per Filip Dewinter, the party’s Antwerp leader.
As evidenced by the number of Belgians who have left for jihad in Syria, Dewinter claims that radicalization concerns should not be directed solely towards the problem of the few hundreds of fighters who have joined the ranks of jihad. Measures such as special courses in schools and separation of radicalized prison detainees are no longer manageable.
“We must acknowledge that we are primarily responsible for the problem. We have allowed fundamentalist Islam to build its nest, as was the case in the countries of those Muslims that now live here”,
claims Mr. Dewinter. ??“It is now time to separate the wheat from the chaff: those who don’t truly want to adapt to our laws and customs, we must convince them to return to their countries”, says Dewinter. ? ?Vlaams Belang’s Antwerp chapter advocates for an ‘Active Return Policy’. As a first step, it will distribute 60,000 flyers of its campaign ‘East West? Home Sweet Home!’ in high immigrant concentrated areas such as North Antwerp, Borgerhout, North Deume and Hoboken.

To the Jewish people of the Western World.
There are certain eventualities which seem to be inevitable and even, with a moment’s thought, obvious.
It is time that official Jews, organizations that claim to speak for the Jewish people and other forms of Jewish leadership as well as Jewish media, get behind groups like PEGIDA, the EDL (although it is probably too late for that) and any other rational group that truthfully and courageously exposes Islam and its ambitions and assist them in every way possible, most importantly with their Jewish identity.
Because what seems to be inevitable is that should these reasonable people’s movements fail to deal with a problem that still, to this day, most Jewish groups will not admit is a problem, even though it is the single most lethal existential threat to Jews of all time, groups like PEGIDA etc. etc. will join with Nazi movements out of desperation as it will seem better to have an imperfect alliance to save their own cultures and civilizations than it is to lose it all on behalf of a people who would have been the prime beneficiaries of these groups but would not support them.
Churchill even made such an alliance with Stalin to fight Hitler even though Churchill was acutely aware that the difference between the two leaders was Lilliputian at best. Something most today still do not know.
History has certain constants because people and groups will make certain choices under certain circumstances. Events will unfold no matter how many people bury their heads in the sand. A strategy which tends to expose one’s neck to an enemy with no compassion for the unbeliever.

Quebec Premier Couillard promises a plan of action and a law
The Quebec government will legislate on secularism by the summer to ban the wearing of the full Islamic veil for officials in contact with the population, as well as for citizens in public administration, an unprecedented measure in Canada.
The law on “state neutrality” should remind us of our “fundamental individual rights” that apply in this province, said Quebec Premier Philippe Couillard during a recent interview with AFP.
“It will be proposed that both the person providing a public service and receiving it must have their faces exposed for communication, safety and identification purposes.”
The Liberal leader, elected with a large majority last April, notes that this will apply to both public service and municipal government.
This enforcement action will prevent the wearing of the full veil (niqab or burqa) by employees or users of the administration.
“It’s the least the government could do. The expectation of citizens was high to ensure that the state decides on its relations with the religious,” considers Jocelyn Maclure, a philosophy professor at Laval University in Quebec City.
“It’s surprising that this has not yet been done.”
