Suspected Minsk Metro Bomber detained in violent Confrontation with Police

Viktor Dvorakovskii, an ethnic Russian Wahhabist convert and prime suspect for the 11 April bombing of the Oktiabr’skaia Minsk Metro station, has been arrested in the settlement of Inozemtsevo in the southern Russian district of Stavropol. The 23-year-old Dvorakovskii, who was born in Dagestan in the city of Makhachkala, became a convert to ‘radical Islam’ at the age of 20, and has been evading the Russian special services since they began searching for him in March after he accidentally blew up his own flat with an improvised explosive device. His wife and three-year-old child were in the flat at the time and were wounded.

So what can ya say. But the Trifkovic analysis really is brilliant and I have studied the history of US and Russian use of Muslim terrorists as cold war weapons and it is as accurate as one can be on the subject in five minutes or less.
Finland shows the same tolerance of alternate opinions as the US now does.

I got sent this link by one of our tipsters, in fact, the one who does the translation for us from Russian and related languages for some videos we do. The Bosnian and Chechen Muslims are world renowned for the degree of barbarous grotesque violence they indulge in. Take this as a warning not to watch the video below if you are at all sensitive to harsh, brutal, terrorist violence for it’s own sake. Think of it as Quentin Tarantino X 10 only real.

Right after the bomb went off news services both in Russia and the West did their level best to try and force people’s gaze away from Islam as the culprit. I remember reading several reports including stratfor trying to suggest that it was some other terrorist group.

Belarus: Caucasus Man Linked To Metro Bombing
April 18, 2011
Russian security agencies have linked a man from the Caucasus to the April 11 explosion on the Minsk metro, RIA Novosti reported April 18, citing radio station Ekho Moskvy and Lifenews. It is believed that a resident of Stavropol territory, Viktor Dvorakovskiy, known to North Caucasus police as the Russian Wahhabi, was involved in the attack. The Russian Federal Security Service started investigating Dvorakovskiy’s involvement a few hours after the explosion and visited his mother and the Spiritual Directorate of the Muslims of Stavropol to try to find his location. According to RIA Novosti, the spokesman for the Belarusian prosecutor general said the office did not take the allegations seriously.

According to Izvestiia, an explosion has occurred at the Minsk Metro station of Oktiabr’skaia. It took place during the rush hour and is reported has having caused seven fatalities. A further 35 people have been injured. President Lukashenko has called the emergency services into action to deal with the situation, but who or what was behind the blast has yet to be declared or ascertained. Belarus has not hitherto experienced Islamist extremism, but it is unclear what possible motive any other group could have for targeting Belarussian commuters.

Doku Umarov is the Chechen Islamic leader who was responsible for both the Domodedovo airport bombing and last year’s terrorist attacks on the Moscow metro. He has just released a video calling for all mujahideen to join him in a total war against the Russian state.

Islamist Rebel Urges ‘Total War’ With Russia
The Chechen Islamist rebel leader who is Russia’s most wanted man has issued an appeal for recruits for a “total war” against the Russian state, in a new video message posted on Thursday. “A total war is in progress, fight the enemy where ever you can,” Doku Umarov said standing alongside two other militants in a snow-covered forest in a video posted on militant website hunafa.com.
As well as repeating calls for women to join the rebellion, Umarov called on Russian Muslims from outside the Caucasus like the Volga regions of Tatarstan and Bashkortostan to join the insurgency.
Umarov, whose Caucasus Emirate group aims to impose Islamic rule throughout the Northern Caucasus, has claimed responsibility for the Moscow airport attack in January that killed 37 and the 2010 metro attacks that killed 40.

To listen to the MSM, even the Russian MSM, you would think it was just a matter of Chechen separatists. That this was a banal matter, comparable to Quebec separatists or Irish. It wasn’t till I saw the al-Ray in the background of the video of the claimant of responsibility that there was any indication that this was an act of Islamic jihad at all.

Russian security services warned in December that there were two attack teams primed to carry out attacks, sparking fears there could still be terrorists at large who were prepared to carry out another attack.
Intelligence sources said that one of the squads was likely to have established a base, at a house in Moscow, where the suicide belts to be used in attacks were assembled.
Russian security sources said yesterday that a male and female suicide bomber from the Black Widow brigades had carried out the bombing together.
