RAYMOND IBRAHIM: SAUDIS OUTRAGED OVER MCDONALD TOY THAT INSULT MOHAMED

Question: When are the members of the Ideology of Eternal Outrage (IEO), not, outraged over something?

Saudis Demand Punishment for McDonald’s Toy They Say “Insults Muhammed”

by Raymond Ibrahim

According to the Saudis, the designs that appear all around the base, where the figure stomps its foot, is really the name “Muhammed” written several times in circles.

Saudi Arabians are angry at a McDonald’s toy which they say mocks their prophet Muhammad. According to a report appearing today (5/27/12) on the Arabic news website, Kermalkom.com, the McDonald’s fast food restaurant “abused the Prophet Muhammad by placing his name at the base of a toy that is being distributed as part of the Happy Meal, a toy which steps on the name ‘Muhammad.'”

The toy consists of a blue superhero figurine (apparently a Power Ranger Samurai; click here for pictures). It stands on one leg, and, when the lever is pressed, it pounds on the base with the other leg. According to the Saudis, the designs that appear all around the base, where the figurine stomps its foot, is really the name “Muhammad” written several times in circles.

Saudi Arabia is ‘biggest funder of terrorists’

Independent:

Saudi Arabia is the single biggest contributor to the funding of Islamic extremism and is unwilling to cut off the money supply, according to a leaked note from Hillary Clinton.

The US Secretary of State says in a secret memorandum that donors in the kingdom still “constitute the most significant source of funding to Sunni terrorist groups worldwide” and that “it has been an ongoing challenge to persuade Saudi officials to treat terrorist financing emanating from Saudi Arabia as a strategic priority”.

In a separate diplomatic cable published by WikiLeaks last night, the militant group which carried out the Mumbai bombings in 2008, Lashkar-e-Toiba, is reported to have secured money in Saudi Arabia via one of its charity offshoots which raises money for schools.

SUICIDE BOMBING AUCTION IN SAUDI ARABIA, FATHER GETS HIGHEST BID FOR SON’S BLOOD

Islam is Islam, even when fried in olive oil, or when a detonation trigger button is pushed.

H/T: Sam I Am

The Suicide Bomber Auction, Saudia Arabia

LIVELEAK: An unbelievable leaked video of an auction for a suicide bomber against Syria. This takes place in a hotel conference room in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The atmosphere is festive, and the audience has children in it. But the merchandise auctioned is human flesh and blood!

The video shows the father, Abu-Salah, attending the auction and offering his son Khaled as a sacrifice (2nd son to “sacrifice” his life) .The father receives 1.5 million Riyals ($400,000) as future compensation for his son’s demise in Syria. At one point in the video, the father is elated at the high bids.

[UPDATE] I was concerned, as this is so awful, that this might not be as advertised. Translating Jihad was kind enough to look it over and yes, the titles are an accurate reflection of what is being said here.

Men dressed as run-away tables at Italian restaurants claim girls are ready to be married at 10

Is it halloween already? To be honest, i am not sure which galls me more. The idea that women can be married off at 10 years old, or the actual redefinition of the word ‘marriage’ in the first place. When what they really mean is a sex-slave. I suppose once you remove the notion that consent is necessary from women, both things are the same.

Elder of Ziyon:

Progress!

What’s he daydreaming about?

The Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia has reportedly voiced his support for the marriage of under-age females in the kingdom, while condemning those who seek to raise the legal marriage age.

A girl is ready to marry at 10 or 12 years of age according to Islam, London-based Al Hayat reported Sheikh Abdul-Aziz Al Sheikh as saying, adding that Islamic law is not repressive to women.

“Those who call for raising the age of marriage to 25 are absolutely mistaken,”Al Sheikh said in a lecture at the faculty of Imam Mohamed bin Saud Islamic University in Riyadh.

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia — Saudi Arabia closed its Cairo embassy Saturday and recalled its ambassador following protests over a detained Egyptian human rights lawyer in a sharp escalation of tension between two regional powerhouses already on shaky terms due to uprisings in the Arab world.

The unexpected Saudi diplomatic break came following days of protests by hundreds of Egyptians outside the Saudi Embassy in Cairo and consulates in other cities to demand the release of Ahmed el-Gezawi. Relatives and human rights groups say he was detained for allegedly insulting the kingdom’s monarch.

SAUDIS BEHEAD MAN FOR MURDERING SAUDI HOUSEWIFE AND RAPING HER CORPSE

Saudi Arabia, a place where one can still visit the seventh century, and not be in a museum.

The subject of necrophilia in Islam has risen to the forefront once again, just lately it was being reported that Egypt was planning a ‘farewell intercourse with dead wife’ law, but has since then been labeled as nonsense. However, there still remains a (respected) Moroccan “Islamic scholar” (an oxymoron) who issued a fatwa allowing for a husband to have intercourse with the remains of his dead wife. One stipulation is that the corpse must be ‘fresh’.

Saudis behead and crucify Sudanese national for raping corpse

CAIRO: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia beheaded and then crucified a Sudanese national after he was convicted of murdering a Saudi woman and then having sex with her corpse.

The man had confessed to murdering the Saudi housewife by strangling her in her sleep.

He then had sex with her corpse, stole her money and jewelry and fled after opening the gas cylinder in an attempt to kill the other family members.

The court sentenced him to death and crucifixion.

He appealed, according to a report in the Saudi Arabian Arabic language daily, Ajel.

The appellate court gave him the same sentence, which was upheld by the supreme court and then ultimately endorsed by King Abdullah.

The defendant, identified as Abdul Rahman Zain Al Abidin, was given a public execution and crucifixion in the kingdom’s capital Riyadh.

The preferred method of execution in Saudi Arabia is beheading by sword.

He added: “Our mothers and grandmothers got married when they were barely 12. Good upbringing makes a girl ready to perform all marital duties at that age.”

The Grand Mufti’s statement came following discussions by the Justice Ministry to set a minimum age for marriage.

The conservative Kingdom is facing strong pressure to raise the minimum age for marriage, following international criticism of cases involving children forced into wedlock with older men.

In 2010, for instance, the Saudi Human Rights Commission, a government affiliated group, hired a lawyer to help a 12-year old girl divorce her 80-year old husband.

Churches condemn Saudi fatwa

For once I think we could learn something from the Saudis. Why not give back in kind?

From The Tablet:

30 March 2012

German and Austrian church leaders have condemned a call by Saudi Arabia’s Muslim Grand Mufti for the destruction of Christian places of worship throughout the Arabian Peninsula.

“The Mufti clearly lacks any respect for religious freedom and the peaceful coexistence of religions. We stand firmly committed to religious freedom for everyone in our country, and we demand the same rights no less emphatically for Christians in countries where Muslims form the majority,” said Archbishop Robert Zollitsch, president of Germany’s bishops’ conference.

The archbishop was reacting to the mid-March declaration by Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah, the highest Saudi religious authority, who said Muhammad had decreed that “only one religion should exist in the Arabian Peninsula” and that existing churches should be destroyed.
