Here is an interesting clip from the CBC where CAIR-CAN is referred to as, “A well respected organization”.
I have added some text to set the record straight and there is more below the MORE but the entire clip is there. I have not edited the content or order of the CBC clip. Only added text and highlighted the CAIR sign.
Shafia family adds insult to injury to Canada with grotesque lie about the police
This is surreal in its magnitude and transparency. I guess the only good thing one can say about the Shafia family is that they seem to be crappy liars although not un-practiced ones perhaps.
The fact that they claim that a Canadian police department would torture their son if they didn’t falsely confess to a murder is a horrific sort of lie, because it means that we have police forces that act likes ones in Islamic nations. And we most certainly do not.
Add to that, the easily caught lie that they never saw the pictures till after the murders when there is video of the father showing off the photo album before they happened.
I must admit, the CBC did a great clip on this. I take back 10% of the nasty things I have said about them.

A mother accused of murdering three of her daughters and her husband’s first wife in an honour killing broke down in tears while testifying today in an Ontario court.
Tooba Mohammad Yahya, 41, is accused of conspiring with her husband, Mohammad Shafia, 58, and their eldest son, Hamed, 21, of running one of their family cars into a canal with their four relatives inside.
Prosecutors say that they did so in order to protect their family’s honour because the four women were acting disobediently by having boyfriends, wearing skimpy clothes, and not listening to their strict Muslim father.

Halifax mosque still working on gym

The multipurpose gym at the Halifax mosque is still not complete. (CBC)A gymnasium built with provincial money as part of a two-storey mosque and community centre is still under construction in central Halifax.
The mosque on Charles Street has been in use since August, and worshippers supplied every dollar to build it.
But people in the local neighbourhood are wondering when the community gym, stage and kitchen will be open to the public.
Dr. Hadi Salah, who speaks for the Muslim nonprofit group that is building a multipurpose gym in the mosque’s basement, said the walls of the gym are done and the floor will soon be installed.
A prayer room for 700 people upstairs is complete except for chandeliers coming from Egypt.
Salah said the push was to get the mosque open for the holy month of fasting and prayer, during which no noise is allowed.
Dr. Hali Salah said the work will be finished as soon as possible. (CBC)“At the end of July, we had to stop the contractors because we wanted to open the building for Ramadan. We did finish Ramadan, but then we’ve been having difficulty getting them back,” he said.

Muneer Awad had argued that the amendment would affect every aspect of his lifeThe US state of Oklahoma has been prevented from introducing an amendment that would have barred its courts from considering Islamic law in judgements.
A federal court of appeals upheld a district judge’s decision to block the implementation of the amendment.
The ban on Islamic law was approved by 70% of voters in a referendum in 2010.
But it was challenged by a Muslim community leader who said the amendment violated his constitutional right to freedom of religion.
Muneer Awad, the head of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) in Oklahoma, had filed a suit saying that the amendment would affect every aspect of his life, including his will and testament.
‘Pre-emptive strike’The amendment read in part: “The courts shall not look to the legal precepts of other nations or cultures. Specifically, the courts shall not consider international law or Sharia law”.
The author of the amendment, Republican state representative Rex Duncan, had argued that it was not intended as an attack on Muslims, but was rather a “pre-emptive strike” preventing the application of Sharia law. Continue Reading →
Shafia mass murder trial resumes.
It seems the defense is multiculturalism itself. The whole thing can be dismissed cause of misunderstandings in culture, religion, and language. I guess Canadians should just forget their entire legal history and belief in the value of human rights and the silly notion that people have a right to not be murdered, doubly so by their own parents.

A man thought to be an Islamic extremist is believed to have shot the windows out of at least two businesses in Alabama City early Sunday to lure police officers to the area and engage them in a shootout.

Video collage of Florida terror suspect Sami Osmakac
This deeply and profoundly religious Muslim made several videos expressing his views and values and attempted to teach them to us, and to other fellow travelers. My favorite one though, is the one where he got into a fight with some fanatical Christian preachers outside a Lady Gaga concert in April 2011 who frankly, would agree with him on a lot of his morals. Even so, he felt a need to attack them.

Man Arrested Over ‘Florida Bombing Plan’

A suspected Islamic extremist has been arrested over an alleged plan to attack businesses and a police station in Florida, US authorities have said.
Sami Osmakac, 25, a naturalised US citizen who was born in the former Yugoslavia, was arrested in Tampa on January 7 following a sting operation.
According to the US justice department he allegedly tried to create a car bomb and obtain an assault rifle and explosives.
His arrest followed a months-long surveillance during which he was closely monitored by law enforcement officials.
Officials said Mr Osmakac has been charged with one count of attempted use of a weapon of mass destruction, which they identified as explosives.

Let’s see, born in Chechnya, yelled anti American slogans, indifferent in court, I wonder what possible motive he could have for his arson attack in Los Angeles. Yeah he may be autistic or any other number of DSM IV diagnosis, but I know quite a few autistic and Aspergers syndrome people and none of them hate Americans or want to set cars on fire on or around New Years or ever.
But yeah I think there is some cultural or belief system motivator here, can’t quite put my finger on it though.
