2008 interview with Omar Khadr sister on Toronto radio

Thank you very much Sdamat2a for taking the time and effort to get this too me. It is a great indicator of the mentality of the Khadr family. Despite her best effort she seems unable to disguise her contempt for all things Canadian.

However there is still a TV clip out there, probably from CBC, where the mother of the family openly mocks Canada, calls its people all drug addicts and homosexuals and says she will be damned if she lets her children grow up here, while taking full advantage of every social program we have including, but not limited to, over $1M worth of medical services for one of her other sons injured while fighting our own troops in Pakistan or Afghanistan. At least as memory serves.

I would so love to have that clip.

I remember news clips of the Khadr family, now somehow fully scrubbed from the internet where his mother explains how much she hates Canada, how it is full of drug addicts and homosexuals and how she doesn’t want her children to grow up here, while she bathes in Canadian health care money for another one of her children injured while fighting Amer/Canadian troops in Afghanistan.

I believe this family also was known for having lost their canadian passports, all of them, multiple times, if memory serves no less than 5, while away in Pakistan. Does anyone actually know why Jean Chretien personally went to bat for this Al Queda family?

I would very much like to find those clips. If anyone know where or how, please leave details in comments.

Will guilty verdict in Canadian ‘honor killing’ trial be a turning point for justice?

This article by Phyllis Chesler on yesterdays Shafia murder trial verdict I believe deserves more weight than most opinion on the matter as Ms. Chesler has very rare experience in terms of Afghan Islamic culture as evidenced by this 2006 and excellent article of hers which I pimp on this blog often, ‘How Afghanistan Shaped my Feminism‘. On January 29, after a ten-week trial and fifteen hours of deliberations, a seven woman, five man jury returned with a verdict of guilty to first degree murder for all three Afghan-Canadians who were charged in the pre-meditated murder of four female members of the polygamous Shafia family.

The convicted are each facing 25 years without parole.

Mohammed Shafia, 58, Tooba Yahya, 42 (his second wife), and Hamed, 21, their son, were found guilty of conspiring to and of having murdered Mohammed’s first wife, Rona Mohammed Amir, 50, and Tooba Yahya’s three daughters, Zainab, 19, Sahar, 17, and Geeti, 13, because they refused to wear hijab, wore Western, sometimes “sexy” clothing, dared to have boyfriends, and, in their father’s words, “dishonored” and “betrayed” both “their family and Islam.”

On June 30, 2009, when the bodies of the dead girls and woman were discovered in the family’s Nissan in the Rideau Canal, the accused wept uncontrollably and went through an exaggerated public display of mourning.

Answering Muslims is actually a fantastic site which has a great perspective on all issues Islamic and anti-Christian that I have seen so far.

I have to admit, Muslims have a great racket going. When they commit violent crimes against the Kuffar in Western nations, any attempt at applying the law is ‘Islamophobia’ or, ‘racism against Arabs’. While when Muslims commit violent crimes against non-Muslims in Islamic lands, well it is the sharia. It is lawful that these crimes be committed and perhaps even a religious duty to commit them.

If there are any non-Muslims left working in immigration boards in Europe and North America, please reconsider your admittance policies.

Courthouse evacuated at Shafia murder trial due to bomb threat

KINGSTON, Ont. – Closing arguments in the Shafia family murder trial have been put on hold after the courthouse in Kingston, Ont., was evacuated this morning due to a bomb threat.

Court will be adjourned until at least 1 p.m. ET.

While police would only say there was a ”security concern,” a source told The Canadian Press the reason for the evacuation was a bomb threat.

Before the proceedings resumed this morning, the lead detective in the case told everyone in the courthouse to leave the building and there is an increased police presence — including a canine unit — in the area.

Mohammad Shafia, 58, his wife Tooba Yahya, 42, and their son Hamed, 21, have each pleaded not guilty to four counts of first-degree murder.

They’re accused of killing teenage Shafia daughters Zainab, 19, Sahar, 17, and Geeti, 13, as well as Shafia’s first wife in his polygamous marriage.

The Crown is slated to continue closing submissions today, after the jury heard from the three defence lawyers Tuesday and Wednesday.

Anti-Jewsish graffitti was scrawled on the door of a garage on East 5th St. in Midwood, Brooklyn, over the weekend.

Cops are looking for the vandals who spray-painted swastikas and other anti-Semitic messages on Brooklyn buildings this weekend.

A large black swastika and two smaller ones were painted next to the words, “Die Jews,” on a garage door at a home on E. 5th St. in Midwood.

“We are very afraid,” said the home’s shaken owner, Sharon Miltz, 56. “We don’t know why this is happening.”

Two more swastikas were painted on a door of an apartment building across the street.

The vandalism occurred not far from the home of Assemblyman Dov Hikind (D-Borough Park), who gathered with concerned neighbors Sunday morning.

“This is just the latest in a series of ongoing anti-Semitic occurrences in Brooklyn and throughout New York City,” Hikind said in a statement. “People are justifiably very concerned and upset.”

There has been a rash of the hateful graffiti in Manhattan and Brooklyn in recent months. Last week four swastikas were found scrawled on storefronts in midtown Manhattan.

Police released video last week of four suspects, described as two Asian men and two Asian women, being sought in connection with the midtown incident.

Taqyyia, Kitman, softening the infidel on SUN TV

There was a fascinating interview today on SUN TV. A Kingston Ontario imam came on to explain how there is no Islamic precepts or texts to justify honor killing or violence in Islam or for Islamic reasons. In the video below, you will find the complete interview, but I added in chapter and verse from many authoritative Islamic texts, even though the simple fact that in nearly (but not completely) all cases, when an ‘honor killing’ takes place it is by Muslims and the reasons given are defense of the faith of Islam or, reasons of family honor where Islamic law is the justification for the murder.

I also added in an interview with a Montreal Imam, who, being interviewed by a very Islamo-philic Radio-Canada, still shocked the apologists for sharia by admitting that stoning women and cutting hands was an immutable part of Islam and that ‘God’s laws’ are for peace justice and clarity. (Of course, in the Islamic sense of those words, he is correct.)

Remember, he was trying to dumb down the horrors of sharia law, yet still utterly contradicts the imam interviewed today on Sun TV.

It is also worth noting, that this imam made a challenge in the National post asking anyone to submit any Koranic proof of sanctioning honor killings etc. When Point De Bascule, (tipping point) the excellent and thorough Quebec based website, sent in piles of it which is referenced in this video, the National Post chose not to publish it, or indeed, anyones refutation of this Quebec born imam’s absurd and demonstrably false claims.

Crown lays out in most detail to date, theory of critical night in Shafia deaths

KINGSTON, Ont. – Three teenage sisters and their father’s first wife were already dead when the car their bodies were in plunged into a canal, a prosecutor suggested in court Friday in the clearest indication yet of the Crown’s theory in an alleged case of four so-called honour killings.

The plan went awry when the Shafia family’s Nissan got hung up on the concrete edge of the canal, with four bodies inside, so they had to use the family’s Lexus SUV to nudge it into the water, breaking the headlight and scattering pieces on the ground, Crown attorney Gerard Laarhuis said in court.

Those headlight pieces were one of the factors that first caused police to suspect the deaths were not an accident, court has heard.

Tooba Yahya, 42, her husband Mohammad Shafia, 58, and their son Hamed, 21, have each pleaded not guilty to four counts of first-degree murder.
