Ottawa Mosqueterias, attempts to expose them, and the hypocrites who claim it is a religious freedom
First, it helps to understand the story that broke, by Blazing Cat Fur of course, in the past few days about the Ottawa Schools who, like the now famous Toronto public school, breaks Canadian law on not having religious services on school property, and especially not when school is in session and doubly so when they are exclusive to one group and double-double when it discriminates against girls and then again menstruating girls. Simply un-canadian values. At leas as those values were before the great hijra.
Now it might be wise to look at one of the principal (pun actually intended this time) people who is running interference at any attempt to stop Islamic prayer services in Ottawa public schools, one of whom is Aisha Sherazi
She was in fact the principal of a Muslim school that got caught up in quite a bit of controversy in 2005.
I would like to take this opportunity to bang a drum of my own before the pastes of the various newspaper articles (Thanks Shab!) below.
The notion of religious freedom was never meant to mean that anyone can do anything they want so long as they called it a religion. It very simply meant that governments could not persecute you as an individual because you chose to hold different beliefs on matters supernatural than your neighbor or what the state might hold. Technically it was really meant to mean, ‘you can be both kinds of religion if you want. Catholic OR Protestant”.
It was most certainly never meant to allow people to break national, or municipal laws because you claim it is your religion to do so. For those people, there is always a flight to somewhere that allows whatever it is you feel you must do. And hell, if you aren’t willing to make that small sacrifice for your religion, then do you really believe that stuff you say? Or if you are not willing to adapt to Canadian values and laws, then are you really a contributing citizen?

Principal Aisha Sherazi of Abraar Islamic School at 1085 Grenon Ave. has had to deal with a lot of fallout over the contentious story written by a child attending the school.
Ontario Education Minister Gerard Kennedy launched an investigation yesterday into the “deeply disturbing” situation at the Abraar Islamic School after two teachers were suspended for their involvement in a young student’s writing project, which glorified martyrdom and violence against Jews.
Mr. Kennedy said he hoped an Education Department supervisor’s investigation “into what is going on” at the private school will find this is an isolated incident. He also said it could lead to a reference to the Ottawa police for a hate crimes investigation. He said the government is also looking into its powers to deregister a private school. If the teachers are certified by the Ontario College of Teachers, they may lose their certification. Continue Reading →

It was just revealed two days ago that FBI Director Mueller secretly met on February 8 at FBI headquarters with a coalition of groups including various Islamist and militant Arabic groups who in the past have defended Hamas and Hizballah and have also issued blatantly anti-Semitic statements. At this meeting, the FBI revealed that it had removed more than 1000 presentations and curricula on Islam from FBI offices around the country that was deemed “offensive.” The FBI did not reveal what criteria was used to determine why material was considered “offensive” but knowledgeable law enforcement sources have told the IPT that it was these radical groups who made that determination. Moreover, numerous FBI agents have confirmed that from now on, FBI headquarters has banned all FBI offices from inviting any counter-terrorist specialists who are considered “anti-Islam” by Muslim Brotherhood front groups.
The February 8 FBI meeting was the culmination of a series of unpublicized directives issued in the last three months by top FBI officials to all its field offices to immediately recall and withdraw any presentation or curricula on Islam throughout the entire FBI. In fact, according to informed sources and undisclosed documents, the FBI directive was instigated by radical Muslim groups in the US who had repeatedly met with top officials of the Obama Administration to complain, among other things, that the mere usage of the term of “radical Islam” in FBI curricula was “offensive” and ‘racist.” And thus, directives went out by Attorney General Eric Holder and FBI Director Mueller to censor all such material. Included in the material destroyed or removed by the FBI and the DOJ were powerpoints and articles that defined jihad as “holy war” or presentations that portrayed the Muslim Brotherhood as an organization bent on taking over the world—a major tenant that the Muslim Brotherhood has publicly stated for decades.
During the next several months, the IPT will be releasing a series of major investigative reports revealing the secret infiltration by and collaboration with radical Islamic organizations by the Obama administration that has spread to the National Security Council, the Dept of Justice, the FBI, the Dept of Homeland Security, the CIA and the State Department as well as local law enforcement.
Police told suspicious landlord to “Leave the man alone” when he thought the DC terrorist was making bombs

WASHINGTON — A northern Virginia landlord says he thought a Moroccan man arrested in an alleged suicide bombing plot in Washington was suspicious and called police a year and a half ago.
Frank Dynda said today that a woman who leased an apartment in his Arlington building apparently married Amine El Khalifi and then moved out. He says when Dynda told El Khalifi to leave, he said he had a right to stay and threatened to beat Dynda up.
A counterterrorism official says El Khalifi was taken into custody Friday near the U.S. Capitol with an inoperable gun and inert explosives in a suicide vest given to him by the FBI.
Dynda says he thought El Khalifi was making bombs, but police told him to leave the man alone. Dynda had El Khalifi evicted in 2010.

Authorities have arrested a man allegedly on his way to the U.S. Capitol for what he thought would be a suicide attack on one of the nation’s most symbolic landmarks, Fox News has learned exclusively.
The man, in his 30s and of Moroccan descent, was nabbed following a lengthy investigation by the FBI, initiated after he expressed interest in conducting an attack. It’s unclear how the FBI learned of his aspirations.
The man thought undercover FBI agents assisting him in his plot were associates of Al Qaeda.

Shown here is the alley near Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., where a man was arrested on his way, authorities said, to conduct what he thought was a suicide attack on the Capitol.
When he was arrested Friday in Washington, he was carrying with him a vest supposedly packed with explosives, but the material inside was not actually dangerous, Fox News was told.
A short time earlier, he had been praying at a mosque in the Washington area. His destination was Capitol Hill.
The public was never in danger, as he had been under constant surveillance for some time, officials said.

TORONTO — A newly released intelligence report warns that teenagers are being exposed to Islamist extremism in Canadian high schools.
In an Intelligence Assessment, the Canadian Security Intelligence Service says that in two recent cases, suspects charged under the Anti-Terrorism Act “appear to have been radicalized in part while attending Canadian secondary school institutions.”

This was the best of the speakers I am reliably informed however you can see the entire thing here. All told, it is about 90 minutes.
What is concerning is that the first speaker, Dr. Hassan-Yari, who lectures at a major Canadian Military academy, Royal Military College of Canada, and was using sophomoric moral equivalence. The kind that no student should be allowed to graduate grade 9 from, without being able to see through and defeat.
He actually said that Iran calls the US “The Great Satan” and the US calls Iran, “Axis of Evil” with the intention of attempting to create the impression of moral equivalence.
This is at the very best the kind of intellectual laziness that should cause terror in that it is the voice that trains future military leaders but is more likely an excellent example of the kind of infiltration and political correctness former CIA trainer Clare Lopez has spoken about numerous times in terms of US military teachers and intelligence trainers, most notably at the CIA itself.

Interesting picture, a sign of the times?
This just came in by email. Of course, like many of these things I cannot know, just yet at least, if it is as it is being presented. For all I know, the statue was being repaired and was covered till they were complete. However I feel that the story attached to the picture is likely enough true to bother posting it here as it is no more unlikely and in fact, considerably more tame than much I post with verification every day at this site.
If anyone has actual information please post it in the comments. I also do not have a date on this event.

The annual MLK observance at the state house in Columbia
SC had an interesting twist this year. The event is held on
the north side steps of the statehouse.
Prominent at that location is a large bronze statue of
George Washington.
This year, the NAACP constructed a “box” to conceal the
father of our country from view so that participants would
not be ‘offended’ by his presence.
I could hardly believe my eyes when I saw this picture of
the MLK Day rally in Columbia , South Carolina ..
This rally was sponsored by the NAACP and they said that
they covered the statue because they “didn’t want to
offend anyone”. Really? George Washington is the father
of this nation. How is he offensive to anyone?
Can you imagine what would happen if we covered the
statue of Dr. Martin L. King on President’s Day? Or is only
the statue of a ‘white guy’ offensive ??
Of course, this display of anti-Americanism wasn’t covered
at all by the national media (surprise, surprise !!), and the
local paper in Columbia only ran a short piece on it. It has
been covered a little by the blog-world but I think the word
needs to get out to the general public that this is what the
NAACP is all about…militant and (most definately) racist.

The approaching tenth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks marks a critical point in Canada-United States relations. This milestone should remind us that allies’ support and confidence are decisive to a country’s survival and prosperity. In Canada’s case, prosperity and public safety require access to U.S. borders and to American diplomatic, military and intelligence channels. This access depends on U.S. confidence in Canada as a security partner.
Well before 9/11, I testified before a congressional subcommittee concerned about the Canadian Security Intelligence Service’s 1998 warning that more terror groups were in Canada than in any other country, except perhaps the U.S. Imagine American officials’ discomfort with today’s Canadian security problems.
Canadian-based Sikh extremists caused the world’s biggest pre-9/11 aviation-terror disaster, the 1985 Air India bombing. Today, India’s security officials privately regard Canada – not India – as a font of international Sikh extremism.
CSIS director Richard Fadden warned of illicit foreign-influence operations in Canada. One or two provincial cabinets could be penetrated, he said, as might local governments. Yet MPs shy away from asking whether Canada’s politicobureaucratic system is infiltrated.
