25 Saudi Guantanamo prisoners return to militancy

EDTRIYADH (Reuters) – Around 25 former detainees from Guantanamo Bay camp returned to militancy after going through a rehabilitation program for al Qaeda members in Saudi Arabia, a Saudi security official said on Saturday.

The United States have sent back around 120 Saudis from the detention camp at the U.S. naval base in Cuba, set up after the U.S. launched a “war on terror” following the September 11 attacks by mostly Saudi suicide hijackers sent by al Qaeda.

Saudi Arabia, the world’s top oil exporter, has put the returned prisoners along with other al Qaeda suspects through a rehabilitation program which includes religious re-education by clerics and financial help to start a new life.

The scheme, which some 300 extremists have attended, is part of anti-terrorism efforts after al Qaeda staged attacks inside the kingdom from 2003-06. These were halted after scores of suspects were arrested with the help of foreign experts.

Around 11 Saudis from Guantanamo have gone to Yemen, an operating base for al Qaeda, while others have been jailed again or killed after attending the program, said Abdulrahman al-Hadlaq, Director General of the General Administration for Intellectual Security overseeing the rehabilitation.

Norway is a Scandinavian Orwellian nightmare, where racism assumes the mantle of humanitarianism, anti-Israelism/Jew hatred is championed by “philosemites”, truth is falsehood and injustice the rule of law.  Norway, having been so thoroughly corrupted over the decades by far Leftist governments, can’t tell the light of Summer’s day from the darkest of Winter’s nights. Simply put, Norway is a gross caricature of a western liberal democracy.

Enter Bruce Bawer. Here’s a man who has championed the rights of women, vocally defended the need to safeguard their rights, and the rights of all citizens of Norway, at the forefront of ensuring that children are not victimized, and yet, he’s being branded a “waycist”. It’s because of his insistence on naming the name “that shall not be mentioned”, the ideology of Islam, as being the prime motivating factor in the victimization of immigrants in Norway.

It’s not ethnic Norwegians who are victimizing young girls with female genital mutilation (FGM) or forcing the women folk, in most cases young girls, to be married, or forcibly keeping their females under lock and key, brutalizing gays or promoting rioting in the streets for whatever grievances real or imagined or overly represented in the crime rate, like in the rape statistics etc..

No, Muslims are the ones guilty of that, and saying so isn’t an act of racism, but the speaking of the truth. So now the Orwellian (and humanitarian racist) Norwegian state has cast its eye upon the next victim, for daring to utter the truth about its society. Finland has Jussi Halla-aho, The Netherlands has Geert Wilders, Austria has Susanne Winter, and now Norway has Bruce Bawer. Let Bruce fill you in on the situation.

When it comes to the right to speak one’s mind about Islam, the record of the last few years makes it clear which direction the West is moving in. In France and Italy, Oriana Fallaci is put on trial for disparaging Islam. In Canada, Mark Steyn and Ezra Levant are hauled before “human rights commission” tribunals for criticizing Islam in print. In Australia, an Islamic organization sues two pastors for “vilification of Muslims.” In Britain, a Daily Telegraph columnist is arrested on charges of hate speech for having written negatively about Islam, and the Archbishop of Canterbury proposes that Parliament pass stronger laws against such speech acts. And in the Netherlands, Geert Wilders, the head of the Freedom Party, which performed so well in the June 9 general elections that Wilders may end up in the governing coalition, still faces trial for having made a film about the Koranic foundations of terrorism.

Then there’s Norway, where I live, and where the last few days have seen yet another dark development. By way of background, permit me to begin by quoting myself. On pages 230-31 of my book Surrender: Appeasing Islam, Sacrificing Freedom I sum up the more alarming aspects of Norway’s Discrimination Law, passed in 2005:
It forbids “harassment on the grounds of ethnicity, national origin, ancestry, skin color, language, religion, or beliefs,” and, in turn, defines harassment as “actions, omissions, or utterances [my emphasis] that have the effect or are intended to have the effect of being insulting, intimidating, hostile, degrading, or humiliating.”

In other words, it’s illegal just to say certain things.

Defendants may be accused not only by the individuals whom they’ve supposedly offended but also by semiofficial organs such as the Anti-Racist Center and the Center against Ethnic Discrimination (both of which helped formulate the law, and both of which exist less to oppose real racism and discrimination than to oppose political incorrectness generally) or by the government’s Equality and Anti-Discrimination Ombud.

Which means that a handful of far-left organizations have been given enormous power to silence those they disagree with.

Violations of the law by individuals are punishable by fine; violations by individuals in concert with at least two other persons (such as a writer conspiring with an editor and publisher, perhaps?) can be punished by up to three years’ imprisonment — this in a country where murderers often get off with less. Moreover, the burden of proof is on the accused: you’re guilty until proven innocent.

And this in a supposedly free country.

Which brings us to the most recent developments. Over the years, I’ve had a close association with Human Rights Service (HRS), a small Oslo-based foundation that formulates and proposes government policies designed to combat the subjection and abuse of females in Muslim communities. I’ve translated materials for HRS and written pieces in Norwegian for the HRS website. Last fall, after suggesting that HRS expand its site to include articles in English by contributors from around Europe and elsewhere — so that writers from different countries could compare notes, as it were, about their experiences with Islam, immigration, and integration — I began working regularly for HRS, writing, soliciting, and translating pieces for their new international web pages.

Meanwhile HRS was going through a rough patch. Ever since its establishment in 2001, it has been despised by many people on the Norwegian left — the same folks who hate Israel and who feel warmly about Hamas. The two women who run HRS, Hege Storhaug and Rita Karlsen, have labored tirelessly against monstrous practices like honor killing, forced marriage, and female genital mutilation, and for doing so have won the lifelong gratitude of countless Muslim girls and women — but as far as their PC enemies are concerned, to condemn any aspect of Islam is to be an Islamophobe, pure and simple. Last summer, a couple of newspapers, the far-left Dagbladet and the Communist Klassekampen, waged a brutal and breathtakingly mendacious smear campaign against HRS, the obvious intent of which was to bring it down once and for all.

DUTCH SYNAGOGUE VANDALIZED WITH RED PAINT IN AMERSFOORT

The list of attacks against Jews in the Netherlands keeps on growing. Here is the latest sad news: a synagogue was vandalized with the smearing of red paint, most likely tied to the “outrage of the Muslim street” over the “Flotilla of the Huns” incident.
Turkish jihadis commandeered a ship with the blessings of the Turkish government, to spring a trap on IDF soldiers who were expected to drop in to steer the ship to the coastal Israeli port of Ashdod for inspection.
So the Jews of the Netherlands are made to feel the rage of the Muslim street, but lats face facts, they don’t need any reason for sudden rage syndrome, just walking past a Muslim while being Jewish is more than enough to set them off. KGS
AMERSFOORT (Reuters) – The Synagogue of the Jewish Community Amersfoort is smeared with red paint. The police surveillance in the coming days additional property, a police spokesperson reported Wednesday.
At the synagogue are big blobs of red paint left, but no offensive slogans or written texts. The Jewish community has reported the destruction. It is still unclear, according to the police or to vandalism or that there is a purposeful action.  “We’re being in surveillance at least extra in this location,” said the spokesman.

The synagogue in Amersfoort has been daubed with large quantities of red paint. No text or graffiti were added. The Jewish community has put in a complaint with the police. According to the police it is unclear whether this is vandalism or a targeted action.

CHAIRMAN OF HELSINKI FINNISH ATHEISTS OFFERING PORN MAGAZINES IN EXCHANGE FOR KORANS IN CITY CENTER

The Helsinki Freethinkers organize the publicity stunt, in which religious literature is exchanged pornographic magazines. The drive is taking place in the Three Blacksmiths Square in Helsinki, and it starts at 14:00.

All are eligible for exchange, Bibles, the Koran, and other “holy” books.

In addition to that they will be taking all kinds of religious literature and magazines. The books will be made into lucrative wastepaper. The aim of the drive is to criticize in particular, Christianity and Islam, and to highlight sexuality as a wholesome alternative to the religious literature.

“Porn allows sexual arousal and pleasure, either alone or in company.

Sex – including masturbation – according to sextology studies have shown that in many ways are good for health and state of mind. The world would be more relaxed and happier place if people switched from the “holy” book, to pornography, “says Tommi Paalanen of the Helsinki Free-thinkers. The drive is organized by Helsinki Freethinkers, and it is backed by Hustler and Jallu.

NOTE: The drive this Friday, 04,06.10, is for all religious books to be exchanged for pornography, but since Christianity has dealt with such things in times past, the Tundra Tabloids decided to place the KORAN with top billing honors, since its being targeted as well. KGS

The Tundra Tabloids receives a hat tip to the following two stories concerning a Norwegian girl who’s happy to rediscover her identity after having to move away from an area where she was victimized for being an ethnic Norwegian, and about the rise in violence and threats towards employees in Oslo schools.

The situation in Norway is slipping fast from bad to desperate, as everyday people are being forced by their situations to come and speak openly about how dire things actually are. Just this past March the TT reported about a NRK report about how widespread anti-Semitic attitudes were amongst the Muslim immigrant community in Norway.

Teachers would only allow themselves to be interviewed anonymously for fear of their lives. Here are a couple of articles that show just how far the situation in Norway has been allowed to deteriorate. Really shocking. KGS

Bullied because she is white

Blond again: Only after moving to a school in western Oslo did Mari Morken (16) dare be blond again.

“Why is it racism is we call them ‘black’ and not racism if they call us ‘white'”?

“I never called anybody ‘Nigger’ or ‘Black’ or anything like that. On the other hand, those of us who were White were talked about derogatorily. It was negative to be White, Christianity and Norwegian culture was negative and there were many curses,” says Mari Morken (16) and rattles them off “Whitey, potato and white cheese”
Three years ago she couldn’t take it any more. She moved from a school in Groruddalen to a school on the west side. Every morning she takes the subway to the other side of the city to escape the curses and the bad class-environment. Where she goes now, it’s good to have good grades, and she doesn’t stand out because she’s light. Before she made dark stripes in her medium-blond hair. Now she dyes her hair a bit lighter. She’s in the process of ‘taking back’ her Norwegianity, and is happy to be blond without being branded ‘whore’ and cheap’.
“Ah, girl, blond whore!”
‘Josephine’ was met with these words on the first school day at a high-school in an immigrant-dominated suburb south of Stockholm. Josphine was quite baffled, since aside from her hair color there was nothing about her appearance that would indicate she was promiscuous. She didn’t use makeup and had completely neutral clothing. It was exclusively her hair-color that branded her a ‘whore’.
‘Josephine’ is one of the informants for researchers Maria Bäckman, who did an ethnographic field study in a suburb south of Stockholm, where ethnic Swedes make up about 20% of the population. They’re therefore a minority. Klassekampen met Bäckman this week when she visited the University in Oslo and the Culcom research program (cultural complexity in the new Norway). She’s the first in Sweden who researched ethnic Swedes as a minority. A similar study was not done in Norway.
“In the suburbs the invisible Swedishness become visible. Ethnic Swedes experience being defined and labeled by their culture and religion, similarly with minorities of a different background,” Bäckman told Klassekampen.
In her study she focused on ethnic Swedish girls. They experience being linked to the notion of free, Swedish sexuality, which in the densely immigrant suburbs is not necessarily linked with something positive. The strategy for the suburb girls was therefore to play down their Swedish identity.
“Several dyed their hair. Not necessarily because they wanted to look like immigrants, but because they didn’t want to look so Swedish,” says Bäckman.
“Yes, it’s typical, Exactly like that.” Mari Morken nodded vigorously to us from the other side of the cafe table when we repeated some of what Maria Bäckman has found out. “I was called a whore so many times, I became immune.”
We meet her and her mother, Kristin Pedersen, for a talk about why Mari changed schools. They tell of systematic bullying and harassment since Mari reached puberty when she was 10-11, till she transferred school when she was 13.
Pedersen is still upset at the school’s lack of handling of the case.

CITY OF HELSINKI POOL SPONSORING MUSLIM GIRLS’ ONLY SWIMMING CLASSES

This is wrong on so many levels. At the minimum, it should be billed as female swimming classes, but as a rule, anything even remotely resembling gender apartheid should be avoided  at all costs. Islamic teachings provide the youth with a warped view and understanding of the sexes from an early age. This actually goes against discrimination laws already on the books in Finland, the TT is waiting to see if any of the humanist groups and civil liberty organizations take up the challenge of defending individual rights for all Finnish citizens and residents. A Tundra Tabloids’ correspondent files the following report from Lebanon under the pseudonym, “Patron of Beirut”, concerning the take over (read= Islamization) of his country by the Iranian backed, Hizbollah, and the Saudi backed Sunni. PB also reports that there is serious talk of an upcoming war between Hizbollah and Israel, as well as a civil war between Hizbollah and united Christian factions. Nasrallah: Complete Islamization or bust

The Patron of Beirut:

The situation in Lebanon so far doesn’t look so good. There is tension in the air due to the municipality elections taking place next Sunday. There is a threat for the Christians in the region, if a war breaks out out between Hizbollah and Israel, the Shiia, the Hizbollah will take over the Christian areas in Beirut and in the South.

I have received messages from two sources with close contacts with the Christian parties, the Christian military forces there, that they are preparing for a war between them, (if Hizbollah starts a war with Israel) if Hizbollah starts to act against the Christian forces in the area, if they try to take over the mountain areas overlooking Beirut. They’re saying that Hizbollah will start the war by doing some kind of military operation in the south.

So Hizbollah will start some initiative on the border with Israel, and at the same time it will take a form of a civil war between the Muslims and the Christians, between the Shiia and the Marionites. According to my well placed sources, regarding certain Christian goups aligned with Hizbollah, (former general Michel Aoun’s ‘Free Patriotic Movement’ ), there won’t be any infighting between the different Christian groups, regardless of the past, even though that they have been aligned politically for some time now, between the head of army and Nasrallah.

So there won’t be any bi-lateral Christian-Muslim front against other Christians, it just won’t happen. Only the Lebanese forces (of the Christian factions) are well prepared with arms, they are well prepared for the upcoming war (with Hizbollah). They want to take over certain areas, on the high hills overlooking Beirut if the actions starts, because they want to use these areas against the F-16’s (Israeli warplanes), they are very tall mountains about 1.6 kilometers above the sea.

There is evidence that the Hizbollah will want to be in charge of the Christian areas (mountain range overlooking Beirut) if such a war happens between Hizbollah and Israel on the border. I know of Christians living in the diaspora who have been warned by politicians through personal contacts that it’s not wise to come to the south of Lebanon for the summer. I even believe that the embassies are starting to warn Lebanese citizens abroad not to come to Lebanon this summer, not officially, but quietly between private exchanges not to make the trip at this time.

The other big issue has been the buying of Christian land by Hizbollah which will devolve into taking of land once Hizbollah start something on the border with Israel, this is what will happen, what is expected to happen once things start. The Iranian government is controlling the PR front that that it doesn’t control Hizbollah but under the table they’re going to push them to start the move.

The reason why the big push is coming is related to Obama’s politics, possibly they feel that there is a tentative agreement between Washington and J’lem that Israel is not to attack Iran, but send a message to Tehran by attacking Lebanon and Syria, to be a warning of sorts to Iran. Just last night there is word that Hizbollah is moving close to the border with Israel, such a move is bound to cause a heightened sense of tension along the border and in the region.

Islamization

The Christians of Lebanon are tempted, in particular in the South and in Beirut to sell their lands to Muslims, who continue threaten their existence in a country that used to be predominently Christian for centuries. Many express that they suffer serious difficulties and that the only solution is immigration, this has caused many families to abandon their properties and lands and leave their country.

The “sale of Christian territory” however is a phenomenon growing day by day, for years, which now reduces the effective Christian presence in the region.

In quite the opposite, both Shiaa and Sunnii groups have started to purchase lands belonging to Christians by creating commercial centres and institutions for this purpose. This process would start by searching for Christians who need money due the lack of jobs among the Christian communities. Sometimes there are no other options except that the land owner sells, even though prices are at a steal. The big question today is new demographic changes in Lebanon. Many contacts tell me that the source of the money is Iranian, in a long term strategy to Islamize the land. Foreign funds, many agree, is designed to link some areas in the South and the East Bekaa vally areas to ensure the dominating Shiia population as the political actor.

TURKISH PM ERDOGAN IS UPSET OVER ISRAELI CACOPHONY

This is the real reason for “The Muslim’s” angst over the lack of a “symphonic voice” coming from Netanyahu’s government. Erdogan wants to draw attention away from the Arabs/Muslims desired extinction of the Jewish state and focus on Israel’s defence strategy that defends itself from that scenario. Mogadishu, 16 April (AKI) – Al-Qaeda recruiters are targeting children and aiming to make Somali suicide bombing a multi-generational family affair.

A new recruitment video by Al-Shabaab, the Somalia-based Al-Qaeda branch that operates in the Horn of Africa, opens with an image of a child playing with a toy gun.

He’s not just any boy, but the son of the bomber who almost assassinated former Somali president Abdullah Yusuf when he blew himself up on 11 October 2007 at the parliament in the southern city of Baidoa. The attack is celebrated by Al-Shabab as part of an operation that allowed the terror group to expand in Somalia.

A message’s meaning isn’t easily lost when in the video an image of the toddler and deceased father are placed side-by-side while a voice in Arabic sings praises of the Baidoa attack.

“After four years since the Baidoa attack,” say Al-Shabab leader Mukhtar Abu az-Zubair, “it’s still possible to see the consequences. That operation laid the foundation to conquer the city. This is because our road to victory is paved with the blood of martyrs past and martyrs of the future.”

“Unfortunately many children are trained by Al-Shabab, said Hasan Osman, director of Radio Shabelle, a popular radio station in Somalia’s capital Mogadishu, in an interview with Adnkronos International (AKI). “Militant Islam began concentrating on recruiting children into combat when attacks became bolder and they decided to advance into the capital.”

Fear of ‘missionaries’ blamed for martyrdom of 3 Christians

New video reveals Islamic activists carried notes: ‘They were attacking our religion’

A new video about the martyrdom of three Christian workers at the hands of Islamic activists in Turkey reveals that while the government’s case against the alleged killers continues in turmoil and confusion, the Christian community in the Muslim nation views the tragedy as the will of God.

“Malayta,” available now as the April 18 third anniversary of the deaths approaches, is from Austin Stone Community Church, Voice of the Martyrs and Family Christian Movies. It tells the story of the martyrdom of Necati Aydin, Tilman Geske and Ugur Yuksel. The three, who were working at a Christian publishing house, had agreed to meet with several young Muslim men who expressed interest in the Bible.

Authorities have reported the Muslims first demanded that one of the Christians convert to Islam. When he refused, they pulled knives and tied up, tortured and stabbed the Christians for several hours before their throats were slit.

WND has reported on the case since the widow of one of the slain Christians created a tidal wave of reaction in Turkey by expressing forgiveness for the attackers.

When the publishing house attack became known, the response of Geske’s widow, Susanne, hit the front pages of the nation’s largest newspapers.

When representatives of the Sweden Democrats and the Sweden Democratic Youth  visited today the secondary school in Lund Spyken to set up a book table, they were assaulted by a group of anarchists. Leftist extremists, who according to the school management, had no links to the school, surrounded the Sweden Democrats and appeared to be very threatening. In the end, the extremists stormed book stand and stole the party’s publications. In connection with this attack there was also physical involvement with the Sweden Democrats, including parliamentary candidate, Kent Ekeroth, receiving a kick to the body.

Rather than call the police and evict the violent left extremists, elected school board officials in trying to restore calm withdrew the book stand and forced the Sweden Democrats out from the school.

Sweden Democrats who left the school were persecuted by the extremists and forced them to be taken away from the area in a taxi to avoid further attacks.

Today’s events in Lund, which will be reported, is the third serious incident in a short term, hitting the Sweden Democrats in connection with school visits. About a month ago there was a stone throwing and knife assault in connection with a school visit by representatives of the Sweden Democrats’ youth organization in the neighboring municipality of Malmö.

Parliamentary candidate Kent Ekeroth comments:

– Today’s event shows once again how serious the situation is for democracy in our country. If assembly and the freedom of expression must be saved, policymakers at all levels must take an immediate crackdown on left-wing extremism. – I am also very critical of the school management’s conduct in this case, which I consider contrary to the guidelines issued by the Parliamentary Ombudsman about political parties in attendance at school. By the state’s withdrawing of our book table, it has sent a signal to our students and left-wing shock troops that this type of assault is an acceptable and effective way to stop dissidents from bringing their message. Such behavior is not worthy of a democracy, “says Kent Ekeroth.

Obama stated during the last presidential elections that the Bush administration took its eye off the ball by going into Iraq, not into Afghanistan. The reasons for the US going into Iraq, in contrast to how it first took down the Taliban, driving them out of power early on in the fighting, are many.

One of those reasons being, the Afghanis are far from being a unified state, with the overwhelming majority of the people falling along tribal lines and desperately illiterate and poor.  Afghanistan: Taliban ‘controls 90% of country’

Kabul, 13 April (AKI) – Taliban militants control 90 percent of Afghanistan and are cooperating with Arab Al-Qaeda fighters on the ground, according to Pakistani warlord Sirajuddin Haqqani. He made the claim in an interview posted in Arabic to several jihadist websites.

“We Taliban currently control 90 percent of Afghan territory, and the mujahadeen (‘holy warriors’) control the rest of the country,” said 30-year-old Haqqani.

“We are cooperating closely with foreign fighters on the battlefield,” he said.

He is the son of the powerful Haqqani network’s leader Sirajuddin Haqqani and is described by jihadist sites as a member of the Taliban tribal council in the southeastern provinces of Paktika and Khost.

“The occupying forces and apostates are confined to just a few places,” he added.
