FLASHBACK: US MILITARY DESTROYED BIBLES MEANT FOR FUTURE AFGHAN CONVERTS

Hey, when it’s Christian Bibles, it’s OK to burn them! The brouhaha over US military members who were given Bibles to hand out to potential Christian converts in Afghanistan, erupted over a year ago, after a story in al-Jizz was released showing US soldiers praying and talking about conversions of Afghanis.

The reaction was swift, the military confiscated them all and had them burnt, and imagine that, Christians weren’t seen rioting in the streets demanding the guilty parties to be beheaded. So now a pastor wants to do the same, and the military, (read = Gen.Petraeus) cries foul. KGS

Pentagon burns bibles

The Bibles were printed in the local Pashto and Dari languages. Military rules forbid proselytizing. By the way, the Bibles were burned because the rules on the base say that all garbage is burned at the end of the day. But just asking here; if the U.S. Military seized a stack full of Korans, would they be burned? You think that might cause a little outrage in the Muslim world?

ANOTHER UPPITY DHIMMI RUNS AFOUL OF ISLAMIC SUPREMACISM IN INDONESIA AGAIN…….

How dare a dhimmi question a Muslim. People intending to live in a Muslim country but are not acquainted with Islam, better think again. Remember folks, Indonesia is one of the often sited examples of a “moderate Muslim country”, and yet a Westerner who asks what kind of Muslims he’s dealing with, has to run for his life and then arrested by the police to in jail for his troubles.

Islam is a supremacist ideology and saying so, in spite of being called “insensitive” or an “Islamophobe”, is an act of common sense and a public service. That’s why Koran burning is a must, these Muslims believe that no one can dare criticize Islam or Muslims, especially the non-Muslim, like these two individuals in the article. Next time you hear something about a Koran burning, think about these two Westerners sitting in jail for insulting Islam and Muslims just because they had enough and spoke their minds. KGS

A Second Villa Trashed in Lombok after Alleged Insult to Islam

Lombok. A second foreigner residing on Lombok Island in Indonesia has found himself the object of local wrath for allegedly defiling Islam during the fasting month of Ramadan.
Locals from Sidemen village on Lombok’s main tourism area of Senggigi told the Jakarta Globe on Tuesday that hundreds of residents had attacked and wrecked a villa belonging to a German national and torched his motorcycle for blaspheming Islam.
Police identified the man as Stephen Alexander, 35, also known as Abu-Can Peter.
Mustan, a local, said Alexander discovered that a vandal had decapitated one of the statues in front of his villa on Monday evening and took the severed head to the home of village chief Amalsah.
“He came carrying the statue head and got angry at the village chief, accusing the villagers of damaging his statues.”
Alexander threatened to report the vandalism to the police if Amalsah could not find the vandal within two weeks, Mustan said.
He said villagers had just finished tarawih (evening prayers during Ramadan) and were insulted when Alexander demanded to know, “What kind of Muslims we were?”
“His words were deeply hurtful.”
As Alexander fled for the forest, the enraged villagers trashed the resident’s villa and burned his motorcycle.
Alexander, who has lived in the Lombok for ten years and is married to an Indonesian, only emerged from the forest when police arrived. They promptly arrested the expatriate and are holding him in protective custody at Senggigi Police headquarters.
Luke Gregory Lloyd, 64, meanwhile, is facing the prospect of six years in jail after he was charged with blaspheming Islam and immigration violations after disrupting a late-night Koran recital in a mosque near his house in Kuta, Lombok, on Aug. 22.
Police allege the American expatriate barged into the prayer session with his shoes on, unplugged a microphone and may have even assaulted one of the worshippers.
Lloyd, whose home was also trashed, denies the charges.

INTENDED KORAN BURNING CEREMONY CREATES BROUHAHA ABROAD

For the record, the Tundra Tabloids’ good friend and colleague, Vlad Tepes, made a video of his Koran burning, and if you’re not into the actual burning itself, the classical music being played is more than enough reason to watch the entire video. The entire brouhaha surrounding the burning of the Koran rests on the understanding that it’ll enrage the Muslim masses around the world, causing them to commit all kinds of violence and mayhem, even to the point of putting US troops in harms way.

The TT takes a different approach to the intended Koran burn, that it’s a thankless job that someone has to do, but do nonetheless. Those of us living in the free world, meaning Christians, Jews, Hindus, animists and atheists etc., refuse to be bound by the dictates of the Muslim and his inner mohamed, we simply refuse to have the yoke of dhimmitude placed upon our necks. It’s not an option. (continued below the vid)

No doubt that there are plenty of those outside the debate who think burning the Koran to be in bad taste, and they’re right, it is, however, it has to be done regardless of whether it’s both an act of bad taste and Muslims will riot. The Muslim must be forced to understand that people of other faiths and of no faith at all, will not submit to their whims, their prophet, and his book, they do not control their lives, and the more they push themselves upon the ideologically diverse, the more they will fight back, and yes, that means burning Korans, perhaps even by the truckloads.

There are even those within the anti-jihad movement who have come out against the Koran burning, and that’s their right, but the argumentation used against it doesn’t convince the TT. The argumentation being used by some against Terry Jones, the pastor of the Dove World Outreach Center in Florida, who organized International Burn a Quran Day for September 11, is that by doing so, it will cause others to look badly upon on the Counterjihad movement, and use the burning against it.

Well who said being against the Islamization of the West is going to earn you the praise of the media and Islamic communities anyway? No, like the TT said, it’s an entirely thankless job, but necessary nonetheless, because nothing else will force the Muslim to take notice that the people of diverse beliefs and ideologies refuse to be shackled by Islam and its system of rules, sharia, and if it takes a drawing of Mohamed or burning of a Koran, so be it.

In a different world, the Tundra Tabloids would of course condemn the intentional giving of offense that such an act would bring, but we’re not living in a different world, we’re living in the present one where the highly radical ideology called Islam feels itself to be of great influential importance. We live in a world where the Organization of the Islamic Conference has exerted great pressure and influence within the UN, to try to make it a crime to speak critically of Islam.

We live in a world where Saudi and other ME state petrol dollars are busy funding mosques in the West that spread fundamentalist 7th century Islam, and buying loyalty for their agenda from federal, state and local politicians. Little by little Islamization whittles away at our basic freedoms, while the politicians speak of tolerance and societal cohesion, and hey, the TT is all for that, but only if the other side is doing so as well, but they’re not.

So for the record, the Tundra Tabloids -while emphasizing that if not for the extreme situation of the times- approves of Koran burning until Islam finally rejects the violent and anti-human rights components of the Koran, sharia, and the military jihad,  with visible changes in all their established seats of Islamic learning and being enforced by one fatwa after the other. Until all this takes place, Koran burning is not only logical, it’s a must. KGS

New attempt at circumventing the anti-weapons blockade of Gaza: Flytilla of the Huns

Jihadi “aid activist”:

I’m through with boating

Now this is going to be interesting. This latest change in tactics points to the success of Israel’s and Egypt’s weapons blockade of Hamastan/Gaza. Remember folks, this has nothing to do with “aid” and everything to do with ensuring that Hamas has a steady supply of weaponry. While it may not be the aim for many of those useful stooges helping to break the blockade, in practice, they’re doing exactly that. KGS

NOTE: Is CAIR involved in anyway?
US group says it plans to send plane to Gaza

BETHLEHEM (Ma’an) — A pro-Palestinian group based in the US will send a plane loaded with aid to the Gaza Strip in defiance of Israel’s air and sea blockade, an official said Sunday.
“We intend to send an aircraft to Gaza in much the same way boats were used — without going through Israeli or Egyptian airspace,” said Paul Larudee, an organizer with the California-based Free Palestine Movement sponsoring the flight.
Authorities in Gaza are supportive of the initiative and are working to locate a landing site, Larudee said. Gaza’s now-defunct Yasser Arafat International Airport is not being considered, he said.
In the meantime, Free Palestine Movement officials will look for a plane designed for rough landings and takeoffs such as those used in Alaska and other locales lacking proper aviation facilities, Larudee said. The plan is to send a light aircraft equipped with material sometime in the spring of 2011, after the next sea voyage.
“Breaking the blockade by air may be even more feasible than by sea. An aircraft cannot be boarded while in flight, and the right aircraft can land almost anywhere in Gaza,” a statement on the group’s website says.

THE FJORDMAN REPORT: WHY MUSLIMS LIKE PLATO

Fjordman files his latest essay here at the Tundra Tabloids, concerning Islam’s opting for the destructive philosophy of the ancient Greek philosopher, Plato, in comparison to the West’s preference for Socrates and Aristotle. The fact that Socrates chose death to that of corruption, was greatly respected and admired by Christian Europe, which viewed him is an ancient martyr, while in the Muslim world, it wasn’t respected at all.

Muslims simply couldn’t identify themselves with Socrates as a “martyr” who died for his beliefs, the way many Christians did, because the Muslim “martyr,” or shahiid, is one who dies while killing others. Likewise, in order to earn their respect, Jesus would have had to have slain a good portion of the roman soldiers who were coming to arrest him to qualify. It’s no wonder then that Nietzsche and Hitler had great respect for Mohamed and Islam.  KGS

WHY MUSLIMS LIKE PLATO

By Fjordman

As I indicated in my previous essay Western Civilization and Socratic Dialogue, the Socratic spirit has been a hallmark of Western culture at its best for nearly 2500 years. Yet it has never been shared by Muslims; nor by Western totalitarians starting with Plato in Antiquity. Plato (ca. 428-348 BC) in his early career was closely associated with his teacher Socrates (ca. 469-399 BC), who was executed in Athens when Plato was around 29 or 30 years old.
Plato’ s most positive contribution to Western culture, apart from his support of mathematics, was the fact that he provided us with much of the information we have regarding Socrates methods. Yet it is sometimes very difficult to see when he reports opinions that Socrates the truth seeker probably held, and when Plato puts his own, sometimes strikingly different ideas into the mouth of his former teacher. As historian of philosophy John G. Cottingham states:

Plato was evidently inspired by the ideas of Socrates, whom he makes the chief spokesman in his dialogues; but since Socrates himself wrote nothing, it is impossible to say with certainty how many of the ideas presented come directly from him. The general consensus is that the doctrines developed in the middle and later dialogues (most notably the famous Theory of Forms) represent Plato s own distinctive philosophical views, while the earlier writings more closely reflect the influence of Socrates. The Socratic project is to shake us out of our comfortable preconceptions, by challenging us to give a rational account, or logos, of the concepts and categories we employ, often unreflectively, in our ordinary lives.

The excellent French scholar Remi Brague explains in his book The Law of God: The Philosophical History of an Idea that medieval Christians found inspiration in his personal story and saw in Socrates a pre-Christian precursor persecuted for his monotheism. While he was not the son of God, as Christians believe Jesus of Nazareth was, the parallels between the executions of the troublemakers Socrates and Jesus are nevertheless interesting. Page 113:
Alfarabi and Averroes recall that Socrates preferred to die rather than live in a corrupt regime. The fact remains that the primitive scene of medieval religions is different. Christ died on the cross. Muhammad died in his bed, a victor; there are declarations attributed to him that suggest that he was aware of that difference from the prophets who had preceded him. Consequently, and in parallel fashion, Islam understands the martyr as a combatant who falls while killing, not as a victim who accepts being put to death. Defeat is not conceived as concealing a deeper victory, reserved for resurrection. Thus it seems that an authentic philosopher, in the Islamic context, must be in power. Since being at the head of Plato s ideal city is impossible, he would be the vizier of the actual sovereign. To repeat a lapidary saying: Socrates was judged; Maimonides and Averroes were judges. They might even have considered it their duty to condemn those who, in their own times, might have been equivalent to Socrates.

The image of Socrates as a martyr who died for his beliefs might make sense to Christians, but less so to Muslims. This is because a Muslim shahid, a term often translated as martyr, is not a person who dies for his beliefs but rather one who murders others for their beliefs and himself dies in the process, for example by blowing up a bus full of unarmed non-Muslim civilians. According to such an Islamic worldview, Socrates was a weakling and a failure.

Muslims, as did most European scholars, generally considered Aristotle to be a better writer than Plato and held him in high regard as the greatest thinker of Antiquity. One notable exception to this rule was in politics. We have no certain knowledge of any medieval Arabic or Hebrew translation of Aristotle s Politics, which was translated directly from the Greek to Latin by William of Moerbeke.

If an Arabic translation of this major work of political theory ever existed at all, which appears unlikely, it was at best treated with indifference, at worst with outright hostility. This blatant rejection of Aristotle s political philosophy stands in sharp contrast to the enthusiasm for his natural philosophy and requires an explanation.

Brague concludes (page 116) that Aristotle s Politics appears to have been unknown in that part of the world. This was an absence that had one important consequence: Islam founded its political philosophy, not on Aristotle, but on Plato, whose political reflections the only ones available thus replaced Aristotle s, to play the role in the East that the latter filled in the Christian West. If there was a deliberate decision not to translate Aristotle s Politics, it is not impossible that this was because the work was judged less appropriate than Plato s dialogues on the ideal regime for use in connection with the Muslim community in search of a theory of its own, and therefore that in Muslim lands such theory was deliberately founded on principles that were more Platonic than Aristotelian.

Despite their love of Aristotelian physics, Islam had an affinity for Plato. One historian has compared the Muslim political community with the organization of Plato s ideal city. The Law of God, page 117:
One author whom one might not expect to meet in this context Nietzsche saw this similarity with an astonishing clarity. For Nietzsche, Muhammad is a Plato who succeeded. If the philosopher, necessarily a critic of the mores of the society in which he lives, does not manage to become the legislator of new mores, he leaves behind him the image of a dangerous dreamer. This was the case with Plato. But in his Syracusan adventure, Nietzsche continues, Plato thought he could do for all the Greeks what Muhammad did later for his Arabs, establishing both minor and more important customs, and especially regulating the daily life of every man. His ideas were quite practicable, just as certainly as those of Muhammad were practicable. A few hazards less and a few hazards more and the world would have witnessed the Platonization of Southern Europe. The philosophers of Islam seem to have seen in Muhammad the philosopher king that Plato had postulated, and to have seen the Muslim community as the realization of Plato s city. Did they sincerely believe this? Their practice shows, in any event, that they felt an affinity between Plato s political works and Islam.

I have also heard the claim that Muhammad was the Hitler who succeeded. Both statements could be considered true. That s what Muslims have in common with both international Socialists and national Socialists, or Communists and Nazis: A complete rejection of Western liberty and a passion for Platonic political totalitarianism. This explains why Marxists and radical left-wingers within the Western world often team up with Muslims: They have a mutual enemy and make common cause to stamp out the Socratic spirit of the West.

There are those who view Plato as the real founder of Communism, more than two thousand years before the birth of Karl Marx. In his work Western Philosophy: An Anthology, John G. Cottingham comments on Hegel, whom he regards as a difficult and often contradictory philosopher but concludes that individualism is deemphasized by him in favor of the state and that Hegel often seems insufficiently concerned with the practical safeguards needed to protect and foster the autonomy and individual freedom which his state is supposed to realize. It would be fair to put Hegel squarely in the anti-Socratic camp of Western thought, with roots at least back to Plato. Karl Marx himself soon followed in the Hegelian tradition.
Plato talked about the corrupting influences of art and argued for strict censorship of the kinds of music and poetry that should be allowed in his ideal state. He viewed the painter as a kind of trickster who seduces his audience by producing pale imitations of reality. Fortunately for the future evolution of European art and music, Aristotle had far greater sympathy with the artistic enterprise than did his teacher. Had Plato s views on this prevailed, much of the incredible variety of later Western art and music, from the Hellenistic period to the Northern Renaissance, would have been impossible. In this regard, Plato was very clearly an ancient forerunner of modern totalitarian movements of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries.
It is instructive here to remember that while the Nazis and the Communists both wanted and practiced strict regulation and censorship of decadent art, even they didn t go as far as to ban all works of pictorial art, European Classical music or ballet per se. Muslims, however, did do so. This means that mainstream Islam was even more totalitarian than the most totalitarian strains of Western thought, but it also means that the Platonic view of art and politics reflected by the Nazis and the Communists was more in line with Islamic thought than with the best and most creative elements of European culture. This again explains why a disproportionate number of Western converts to Islam today are either Marxists or neo-Nazis.

NOTE: The irony. Influential lovers of Plato since the time of Lenin, have been moving away from sporting facial hair, only for their followers to once again opt for Plato’s beard thanks to their acceptance of Mohammedism.

ISLAMIC INSTITUTIONALIZED BOY RAPE AND BOY SEX IN AFGHANISTAN: THIS IS WORTH FIGHTING FOR?

Please kill the bastards that rape me

This is the other side of Afghanistan that most in the MSM  refuse to address, because it invokes, outrage against and disgust for, the Ideology of Perpetual Outrage (IPO). These boys that become men who rape boys who become men who rape other boys, is such an outrage that it almost leaves one speechless.
Face it, Islam encourages this type of behavior as a result of its backward, anti-social rules stemming from the Koran and the hadiths. KGS

[So, why are American and NATO forces fighting and dying to defend tens of thousands of proud pedophiles, certainly more per capita than any other place on Earth? And how did Afghanistan become the pedophilia capital of Asia?]

Koran 52:24:
Round about them will serve, to them, boys (handsome) as pearls well-guarded.
Koran 56:17
Round about them will serve boys of perpetual freshness.
Koran 76:19
And round about them will serve boys of perpetual freshness: if thou seest them, thou wouldst think them scattered pearls.

O the joy of sodomy!
So now be sodomites, you Arabs.
Turn not away from it–

Diana West writes : Joel Brinkley, writing in the San Francisco Chronicle, lifts a rock and finds Afghan culture — predatory and abusive, twisted out of human shape by a fusion of Pashtun and Koranic influences.

Western forces fighting in southern Afghanistan had a problem. Too often, soldiers on patrol passed an older man walking hand-in-hand with a pretty young boy. Their behavior suggested he was not the boy’s father. Then, British soldiers found that young Afghan men were actually trying to “touch and fondle them,” military investigator AnnaMaria Cardinalli told me. “The soldiers didn’t understand.”

All of this was so disconcerting that the Defense Department hired Cardinalli, a social scientist, to examine this mystery. Her report, “Pashtun Sexuality,” startled not even one Afghan. But Western forces were shocked – and repulsed.
This would appear to be the same report that Fox News obtained in January of this year, and wrote up here. It didn’t go anywhere then — mainstream-speaking. Will it get the urgent discussion it requires now (as in, what are we doing there, propping up a pederast culture)? Back to Brinkley:
For centuries, Afghan men have taken boys, roughly 9 to 15 years old, as lovers. Some research suggests that half the Pashtun tribal members in Kandahar and other southern towns are bacha baz, the term for an older man with a boy lover. Literally it means “boy player.” The men like to boast about it.
“Having a boy has become a custom for us,” Enayatullah, a 42-year-old in Baghlan province, told a Reuters reporter. “Whoever wants to show off should have a boy.”
Baghlan province is in the northeast, but Afghans say pedophilia is most prevalent among Pashtun men in the south. The Pashtun are Afghanistan’s most important tribe. For centuries, the nation’s leaders have been Pashtun.
President Hamid Karzai is Pashtun, from a village near Kandahar, and he has six brothers. So the natural question arises: Has anyone in the Karzai family been bacha baz?

JPOST: ISRAEL AS A SCUM STATE REMOVED FROM FINNISH PAPER’S SITE

MORE ON FINLAND’S ”SCUM GATE”:
Frank Johansson:

“I decided to take down my blog because I appreciate that my comments were ill-judged and appear all the more so when taken out of context, and have obviously caused offence to many people although it was not my intention, at all, to cause such offence.”

Liar!

Johansson had the chance during the Weinthal interview to distance himself from the translation of the word he used, “scum state”, throughout the interview, he’s now saying after the fact that it was taken out of context, with the design to blow things out of proportion. But (a) he refused to challenge the journalist who used the term more than once when questioning about it (I hear it was around 10 times) and (b) spoke of using similar highly charged wording when directing it against GWBush and others to prove he’s used vitriolic statements before while (c) then claiming later on that he hadn’t meant to offend anyone by the term.

He’s a disingenuous liar and anti-Israel bigot who issues anti-Semitic blurbs when he thinks the coast is clear and no one is looking (meaning anyone outside of Finland). He was caught red handed, and now is trying to back peddle without issuing an apology. How can such an organization expect to be recognized as credible, while they have such people at the helm? This is going to get even more interesting. KGS

NOTE: The fact that AI London employed the term “scum state” in Benny Weinthal’s latest report shows that AI agrees with the translation or at least understands that the phrase carries that meaning.

‘Israel is a scum state’ removed from Finnish paper’s site

Amnesty International disassociates itself from branch head’s blog.

BERLIN – A blog entry in a Finnish newspaper’s Web site by the head of country’s Amnesty International branch, Frank Johansson, which termed Israel a “scum state,” is no longer online following an inquiry into the matter by The Jerusalem Post.

Speaking from Helsinki, Asmo Halinnen, head of Iltalehti’s Web section, told the Post Wednesday that “he [Johansson] removed the blog post,” adding that “All of the blog writings on our site are the opinion of the writer.”

When asked if there is a policy barring anti-Semitic and racist blogs, Halinnen referred the query to Iltalehti’s editor-in-chief, Kari Kivelä . The top editor did not immediately reply to an e-mail query and telephone call.

The Post reported Wednesday about the blog, which prompted a flurry of activity at AI’s headquarters in London.

In an e-mail to the Post on Wednesday, Johansson wrote, “I decided to take down my blog because I appreciate that my comments were ill-judged and appear all the more so when taken out of context, and have obviously caused offence to many people although it was not my intention, at all, to cause such offence.”

He added “I am especially conscious, and regret that my ill-judged action may be detrimental to Amnesty International’s work on Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories and the valiant human rights work being undertaken by my colleagues working for Amnesty International in Israel.”

Amnesty spokeswoman Susanna Flood said, “Johansson remains as the director of Amnesty International in Finland.

“Obviously, we regret it if such a term was used by an individual whose personal views could be misunderstood as reflecting those of Amnesty International, and we disassociate Amnesty International fully and clearly from such comments and we are making this clear to Mr Johansson,” Flood told the Post. “Amnesty International has never described Israel as a ‘scum state’ or used any such terms to describe Israel,” she added.

Finnish media watchdog site, Tundra Tabloids, which exposed the blog on Monday, said that the post’s removal was “not good enough, there needs to be a full apology coming from AI chairman Frank Johansson.”

CHAIRMAN OF FINNISH AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL CALLS ISRAEL A SCUM STATE

CHAIRMAN OF THE FAUX HUMAN RIGHTS

ORGANIZATION IN FINLAND A.I.

Finland’s AI chairman Frank Johansson:

Oh I’ve been to Israel and deem it a scum state.

Writing on his blog over at the Finnish tabloid paper, Iltalehti, the chairman of Finnish Amnesty International took to calling Israel a “scum state” while recounting a visit he had with his friend who lives there.

Frank Johansson:

“A friend of mine who works in Israel, was visiting while piling wood in the shed, we got into his favourite topic. Several years of  residence in the holy country, he has come to the conclusion that “Israel is a scum state”. On the basis of my own visit, which occurred during the 1970s and 1990s for the final time, I agree.”

So this “human rights” activist who chairs Finland’s AI branch of the international organization, which is supposedly a non-biased, impartial organization, labeled Israelis….scum. The man is a bigot, and an anti-Semite. Would Johansson ever dare to write publically about Saudi Arabia, or any other Muslim nation as a “scum state”, or does he, as many other “human rights” organizations do, take aim at Israel, just because he thinks he can get away with it?

This dispels the notion that Amnesty International (especially in Filand) is an impartial human rights organization as long as sentiments such as Frank Johansson is allowed to go unanswered by that parent organization. Another point worth noticing, is that Johansson makes that obvious biased, bigoted statement out in the open, without a care in the world that he would be held accountable in the Finnish speaking media and blogosphere.

Well guess what bozo, thanks to Vasarahammer and the Tundra Tabloids, your bigoted  and anti-Semtic statement has made it to the English speaking world. KGS

FINLAND: FEMALE GYM’S BAN ON PRAYING AND DINING IN FACILITY TO BE INVESTIGATED BY STATE

We came here to sweat, not to listen
to the members of the ROP praying

No, it’s not a rogue bunch of Baptists taking up badly needed room in the crowded fitness center dressing room, eating and praying, but members of the ROP. According to the newspaper, Vartti:

Located in the center of Espoo, a women’s fitness center has prohibited praying and dine on their premises. The prayer and eating ban came into effect in the Lady Fitness Entresse last Thursday.

The ban by the fitness center’s owner PCNordensved, came after years of complaints about the current prayer. In his view, a dressing room is not suitable for the use of prayer.

– We have as clients dozens of Muslim women. The dressing room has had rather eye-catching moments of prayer. There have been groups and individuals. I have not seen it since it is a women’s fitness and women’s dressing room.

The gym is located on the premises of the Entresse shopping center. According to Nordensved the women have entered the dressing room to pray, even when they were not exercizing in the gym.

– I’ve heard that when they are shopping in the center and prayer time comes, they come to the fitness dressing room to perform prayers.

Interviewed by Vartti, a woman who frequents the gym tells of worshipers she saw in the dressing room last June.

– She threw her coat on the floor in front of solarium room and stood there quietly. A bit scared initially, but it has not bothered me.

The gym center has also banned from the premises, including food, because some women have dined in the dressing room between the long training sessions.

– Some people will come on a long a day trip to the fitness center and eat in the dressing room. A snack, a bite to eat in the dressing room is certainly not forbidden, but this is about eating, was Nordensved’s opinion.

Are these the same women, who pray in the locker room?

– Not entirely, but pretty much the same crowd.

[The notice reads: Because of complaints, we ask all of our customers to kindly refrain from praying and eating in the fitness center’s facilities.

The fitness center and it’s facility are meant to be an area neutral from politicism and religions, where people spend their leasure time in peace. Therefore in future possible religious have to take place outside Fitness center facilities
Eating is forbidden in fitness center facilities. Eating of small snacks is allowed.]

Now since the happening has come to light, the Minorities Ombudsman, Eva Biaudet, wants tp weigh in and see if any “descrimination” has occured. Yes that’s right, a private organization that has its own rules, is now being investigated if it’s in keeping with Finland’s anti-descrimination laws. KGS

Biaudet: It can be discrimination

Minority Ombudsman Eva Biaudet have received news of ban on prayer with astonishment. To consider whether it is about discrimination is still difficult.

– The law assumes that no one may be disadvantaged, and which can also be a call in a particular case can act interpreted as indirect discrimination, “said Biaudet.

She will ask how religion can be disruptive to other customers.
NOTE: It is distruptive to other customers, and up to the private owner of the establishment to set house rules, who no doubt, do not want to walk over other people kneeling on the floor praying or sitting around stuffing their faces. Special thanks to J, Kumitonttu for bringing this to the TT’s attention and for Kullervokalervontalonpoika for the intial story about the Ombudsman investigation.

BRUTAL VIDEO OF PAKISTANI MUSLIM MOB VIGILANTISM

According to the person who sent this to the TT, these two hapless lads were innocent of the charge against them, but still, even if they were guilty, this kind of vigilantism that’s common throughout the Muslim world is appalling.

About vigilantism is explained by apostate Muslim, Nonie Darwish: “The ingenious Sharia uses vigilante street justice to bring about Islamic submission. That is why civil unrest and honor crimes go wherever Islam goes. The power of Islam comes from turning Muslim against Muslim — with a reward in heaven. ”

WARNING: Very brutal video of the lynching. The Tundra Tabloids deems this necessary enough to warrant posting at the TT, due to the shock of it all. This is sharia inspired vigilantism in the raw. WARNING ONE AGAIN, BRUTAL FOOTAGE.

Description: Pakistanis have expressed shock at the brutal mob-lynching of two teenaged brothers in Sialkot last Sunday. But horrific as the incident may be, it did not come out of the blue.

Mob justice has been quite the norm, in Sindh, in Punjab and elsewhere in the country. The killings in Sialkot are a reminder that these murderers are getting more brutal, more dehumanised with each incident. The cause More..s behind the madness that led to the lynching are still being probed. What is clear, however, is that the police were involved. Video footage of the incident shows policemen who seem to be part of the mob.

The Supreme Court has taken notice of the double murder. The SHO ‘concerned’ has been arrested and a case registered against 14 people. The IG Punjab has suspended a few policemen in Sialkot and Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has also woken up to the situation. As he castigated the police the chief justice remarked: “What message have you given to the world about Pakistan?” One could say, with due respect to the judiciary, that the act would have been bad enough had it remained hidden from an international audience.

MANFRED GERSTENFELD: LIMITLESS SUPPLY OF SUPPORT FOR THE JIHAD

Writing at the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs, Dr.Manfred Gerstenfled, chairman of the Board of Fellows at the JCPA, discusses the challenges facing American Jews now and in the near future. One of those challenges that caught the Tundra Tabloids’ eye, is an issue that Dr.Gerstenfeld mentions -that effects us all, Jew and non-Jew alike-concerning the continual threat of violent jihad. In the portion of the article titled “The Future of Jihadism”, Dr.Gerstenfeld writes*:

In a world whose main elements are becoming opaque for an increasing number of people, is Muslim jihadism going to disappear, or at least greatly weaken? That seems unlikely both in view of the fanatically ideological commitment of its promoters and because people are inclined to look in an amorphous world for something they perceive as more certain.

The Muslim world is permeated with a clear-cut recipe for an apocalyptic totalitarian future. This does not contradict the possibility that even more Muslims will reject extremism. Some surveys show declining public support for suicide bombings among many Muslim populations. A 2009 Pew study, however, also found that more than 20 percent of Muslims in Indonesia, Jordan, and Egypt (more than 100 million radical Muslims**) have confidence in Osama bin Laden doing “the right thing in world affairs.” Among Nigerian Muslims this percentage was over 50 percent. When President Barack Obama said in his Cairo speech of June 2009 that the extremists were a “small but potent minority,” he was clearly understating the problem.

The Pew study and other data indicate that there are many more current adherents of extremist Islam than the number of Nazis at the time Hitler invaded Poland in 1939. They are far from a majority in the Muslim world. The same, however, is true of the committed moderate and secular Muslims on the other side of the ideological spectrum. These are also less well organized. A large, presently uncommitted center will usually side with the likely winner”.

Gerstenfeld is of course right about the “uncommitted center”, it was exactly this majority demographic Nathan Sharansky was talking about in his seminal book, “The Case For Democracy“. The Doublthinker is the third group Sharansky draws the reader’s attention to after the “True Believers” and the “Dissidents” on pg.47, stating:

“If a fear society is repressive enough, it will appear to an outside observer to consist of only true believers when in reality it may have thousands, tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands, millions, tens of millions, or even hundreds of millions of doublethinkers living in terror.”

Though Sharansky was talking about highly tyrannical, oppressive societies in general, and Dr.Gerstenfled is talking about Islam and Muslims inparticular, (many of whom live in many different kinds of societies, ranging from the tyrannical to a softer kind of tyranny) the situation is exactly the same, for Islam is a top down oppressive ideology and the Islamic center will fall to which ever side they deem will eventually have the upper hand.

But this of course means that in no uncertain terms, can or should, anyone paper over the unpleasant facts that surrounds the Mohammedan faith. It remains unchanged since the time of Mohamed, which means it still contains the seeds to violence to be used whenever a substantial number deem the moment right for jihad.

Then there is also the stealth jihad, that Robert Spencer has dedicated much of his time and effort to alerting the general public about, as well as confronting it face on. Even in the event that the violent jihad is effectively beaten, or at least beaten back substantially, there still remains the stealth jihad, which the Tundra Tabloids deem the more destructive of the two jihads, and will take even more time and effort to properly educate the public and to counter.

Now with the stealth version of the jihad, there is absolutely no indicator whatsoever whether the vast majority of Muslims “that reside in the center” would have any problem in seeing the west Islamized to the point that they (the Muslims) would “feel better at home”.

Therein lies the greater danger for Jews, Israel and the west, for while the vast majority of Muslims, in the TT’s opinion, may indeed reject violent jihad, the overwhelming majority however, would find it very difficult to challenge let alone to disagree with the stealth jihad, or in other words the Islamization of the west, in any significant way. So in regards to the violent jihad, the Muslim center needs to be fought for, but in the stealth jihad, they have to be considered an automatic fifth column. KGS

** The Pew research document itself is not explicit but if you take the number of Muslims in specific countries mentioned there and multiply them with the percentage of people who share Bin Laden’s world view and add them up, you come out at about 100 million. These are convinced Bin Laden adherents and as said they are more than Hitler had followers when Germany marched into Poland in 1939. People are simply not aware how big the jihadi Muslim problem is. If you had the figures for the other tens of Muslim countries, it would increase further. A hundred million is already a big enough figure to make an impression.

SWEDE BLOWS THE WHISTLE ON CORRUPT UN SEC-GEN BAN KI-MOON

Ban Ki-Moon:
Steal a little and they throw you in jail,
steal a lot and they make you a king!

It’s not the Sec-Gen being corrupt that’s surprising, anyone who works at the UN knows that corruption is systemic within that institution, it’s that one of their own, a Swede no less, blew the whistle.

And lets be clear here, it was after the UN bureaucrat was leaving the UN that she blew the whistle, not before. So job protection was more important than whistle blowing, but at least the whistle was blown, no matter how late. KGS

Departing U.N. Official Calls Ban’s Leadership ‘Deplorable’ In 50-Page Memo

UNITED NATIONS — The outgoing chief of a U.N. office charged with combating corruption at the United Nations has issued a stinging rebuke of Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, accusing him of undermining her efforts and leading the global institution into an era of decline, according to a confidential end-of-assignment report.

The memo by Inga-Britt Ahlenius, a Swedish auditor who stepped down Friday as undersecretary general of the Office of Internal Oversight Services, represents an extraordinary personal attack on Ban from a senior U.N. official. The memo also marks a challenge to Ban’s studiously cultivated image as a champion of accountability.

PHOTOS FROM THE ISLAMIC CONFERENCE TO SAVE GAZA

Photos from the “Islamic Conference to Save Gaza” held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Israel has nothing to worry about…

UPDATE: From Israellycool blog. Further investigation of the source blog of these photos reveals they were taken at the 21st International Conference on Islamic Unity, and not the “Islamic Conference to Save Gaza” as was posted at the blog cited in my post below.

I am all for pointing out the Arab and Muslim apathy towards the “palestinian cause” (they don’t truly care for the palestinians, but rather use them as a tool to attack Israel) , but I won’t do it based on dishonesty. Having said that, it’s good to see the Arab approach towards unity demonstrates the same kind of apathy.

NOTE: I have a good source who vouches for the photos, that they are indeed from the confernce in question.

AS OSLO UNIVERSITY PREPARES TO DISCUSS POSSIBLE BOYCOTT OF ISRAEL, AN EXCHANGE BETWEEN THE JCPA CHAIRMAN AND RECTOR

The Tundra Tabloids has obtained an email by Professor Leslie Wagner, chairman of the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs’s Institute for Global Jewish Affairs, that was sent to the rector of the University of Oslo, Ole Petter Ottersen, Professor MD, PhD. The Tundra Tabloids has full permission to reprint the exchange between these two professors. KGS

NOTE: It’s good to know that the rector of the university is fully against such a boycott, let alone the discussion of one.

Correspondence:

Dear Professor Otterson,
I appreciate your prompt reply to my previous communication, and welcome your statement of your personal position regarding the boycott proposal. It is unfortunate from the university’s point of view that any member of the Board can make proposals, however damaging they may be to the good name of the university. I wish you success in mobilising the support of the Board for your position on this issue.
Leslie Wagner

Dear Dr Wagner,
Thank you for your mail regarding academic boycott. Please rest assured that the leadership of the university of Oslo is united behind its firm opposition to any form of academic boycott. The reason why this issue is to be discussed at the upcoming board meeting is a technical one: One of the board members insisted that the issue of boycott be brought to the board and the current rules then dictate that this wish has to be accommodated. For your information we can tell you that we have actively promoted our view in the press and declared that academic boycott is not a way to go in any conflict of this kind. In fact, the leadership of the university argues for a more active use of science diplomacy in conflicts where diplomatic contacts break down or prove inefficient.
I hope this helps clarify this issue. In short, we share your views on the harmful effects of academic boycott and trust that our board will rule against such a step with an overwhelming majority.

Dear Jan Petter Ottersen,
I write to you as a former vice chancellor of 2 British universities and a former chancellor of a third to express my shock that the University of Oslo is to consider a proposal to boycott Israeli universities and academics. Such political gestures have no place in academic discourse, and particularly at a university with the reputation of the University of Oslo.
That reputation can only be damaged, perhaps irrevocably, within the international academic community, if Oslo decides to judge which academics it will recognise on the basis of their passports rather than their academic merit. I urge you to do all in your power to prevent your university going down a route which not only breaches the core principles of academic life, but which will also do great and lasting harm to your fine institution.

Yours sincerely

Professor Leslie Wagner CBE

US AND ISRAELI WARSHIPS SAIL THROUGH THE SUEZ TO CONFRONT IRANIAN FLOTILLA OF THE HUNS

Iran is sailing into choppy waters as a combined fleet of US and Israelis ships are set to engage the other on the high seas. This is going to very interesting. KGS

US, Israel Warships in Suez May Be Prelude to Faceoff with Iran

Egypt allowed at least one Israeli and 11 American warships to pass through the Suez Canal as an Iranian flotilla approaches Gaza. Egypt closed the canal to protect the ships with thousands of soldiers, according to the British-based Arabic language newspaper Al Quds al-Arabi.

One day prior to the report on Saturday, Voice of Israel government radio reported that the Egyptian government denied an Israeli request not to allow the Iranian flotilla to use the Suez Canal to reach Gaza, in violation of the Israeli sea embargo on the Hamas-controlled area.
