Breaking: Van Attack In Münster, Germany: 3 Dead, 30 Wounded, 6 In Critical Condition

9:45 PM (CET): F.A.Z. who said the perpetrator was 27 years old apologized for their mistake and corrected it to 48 years. An earlier live report on n-tv where journalist Ulrich Klose said that the perpetrator had announced to commit a spectacular suicide in the public eye remains to be confirmed.

8:40 PM (CET): Currently, there is conflicting information in the German news outlets; the attacker is referred to as “Jens R.”; some outlets say he was 27 years old, others say 48 years old. Some say he has no criminal record, while n-tv cite “unconfirmed reports” that he had a record of mental instability from 2014 on, and was a petty criminal.

8:26PM (CET): North-Rhine Westphalia’s Interior Minister Herbert Reul announces that two people have been killed, and additionally, the perpetrator killed himself. Several are critically wounded. Reul announces the driver of the van was a German, and that there were currently no clues to an Islamist attack.

7:15 PM (CET): According to Bild, the driver’s house is searched at this moment. Public broadcaster ZDF report that the driver was a German, 48 years old, and had recently attempted suicide.
6:50 PM (CET): as a “suspicious item” was discovered in the van, police are currently evacuating the nearby houses.

Münster, 4:50 PM (CET): A van plowed into a crowd of people who were sitting at the tables at a street cafe. There are conflicting numbers out there. So far there are 3-4 dead, 30 wounded, 6 of them in critical condition reported. The dead driver is still in the vehicle. He allegedly shot himself. The area is in lockdown, the motive still unclear. Police treat it as a terror attack.

Breaking: Terror in France, Three Killed, Moroccan Jihadi Finally Shot By Police

An alleged Islamist killed three people in Southern France.

  • First, he fired at police officers who were just working out. Then he took several hostages in a supermarket
  • After several hours, police forces shot the man dead

Alarm at Southern France police: on Friday, an alleged member of the Jihadi Militia Islamic State (IS) killed a total of three people in the Département Aude. After several hours, police forces managed to kill him in Trèbes.

The situation is still unclear. However, the perpetrator appears to be a notorious Islamist. As reported by the radio station France Info, the man was already known to the intelligence services, and in a data base to fight terrorism and radicalization. He reportedly was under surveillance. According to the newspaper „La Dépêche du Midi“, the man was a Moroccan aged between 30 and 40.

The first incident took place in the city of Carcassonne. As „Le Monde“ report, between 9:30 and 10 AM, an unknown person opened fire  at four officers who were just returning from running. One of them was injured in the shoulder, but his condition is not critical.

Then, the man stole a car, killing the passenger and wounding the driver. Upon that, he drove to the nearby town of Trèbes. An eye-witness said that the perpetrator shouted “Allahu Akbar” (God is great) [translator’s note: this common translation is not quite correct, it means “Allah is greater” or “is greatest”) when he assaulted the local supermarket “Super U“ market at 11:15 AM. He was armed with knives, a shotgun and hand grenades.

According to police, the supermarket’s butcher was lethally shot. The identity of the third victim yet remains to be clarified. According to the Interior Ministry, three more people are wounded. Among them is one police officer, who was held as the sole hostage in the end.

In the afternoon, around 3 PM, a special Gendarmerie force stormed the supermarket and shot dead the hostage taker.

Macron calls it an act of terror

The anti terror unit of the Paris Prosecution took over investigations. The authority annoucnes that they opened an investigation for murder and attempted murder in connection with terrorism.

President Emmanuel Macron, who was participating in the EU summit in Brussels, said during the hostage situation that everything indicated it was an act of terrorism. Prime Minister Edouard Philippe made an according statement and spoke of a “serious situation“.

France has repeatedly been the target of Islamist attacks. Especially the attacks of Paris in 2015, and Nice in 2016, shook the country to the core. In Paris alone, 130 people were killed. Lately, two women were killed in an attack in Marseille on October 1.

Authorities speak of a continued high terror risk. Interior Minister Collomb reported in late February that since New Year, two attacks on a sports venue, and on military, had been foiled.

Hannover — It is 11:42 AM when Samir B. (30) strolls into the Hannover State Labor Court in sweat pants and moccasins. The Islamist is suing Volkswagen.

The car manufacturer dismissed him in November 2016 because he threatened coworkers, and because he appeared to be leaving for ISIS territory. The German-Algerian had acted provocatively in the court’s hallway, filming the journalists present. A court clerk makes him delete the video, as he doesn’t have a permit to film.

The allegations against the assembly line worker (monthly net wage €3,500) are serious: Volkswagen were concerned that their employee might carry out an attack on the manufacturing plant in Wolfsburg. For example, at one of their workers’ caucus, where up to 10,000 workers attend.

BILD is documenting the case

It was late August 2014, when Samir B. was in a restaurant in Berlin-Kreuzberg. Next to him sat the Wolfsburgers Bilel H. and Houssem H. Both of them went to Syria shortly thereafter, and joined the Islamic State. Both of them are dead now!

They were part of the Wolfsburg terror cell. And it seems that Samir B. was involved in their activities more deeply than he wants to admit.

On December 28, 2014, Federal Police stopped him at Hannover airport — he had €9,350 in cash and a drone with him, Wolfsburger Nachrichten report.

The investigators are certain: B. wanted to travel to the Syrian war zone. His passport was confiscated.

According to VW’s lawyers and the Braunschweig District Court, it is an established fact that Samir B. “was involved in recruiting and supporting fighters from Wolfsburg”.

According to one investigator, Samir even drove the ISIS-recruiter Yassine O. and the two sentenced returnees Ayoub B. and Ebrahim H.B. to the airport.

The Islamist played it cool, just smiled arrogantly, when the judge read out the case. He had the stamps of Saudi Arabia, Egypt ad Turkey in his passport. From Turkey, he travelled three times over land and back by plane.

In the Wolfsburg shopping street, he and other future ISIS fighters handed out Korans and literature by the hate preacher Pierre Vogel. And that is not all: according to investigators, Samir threatened his colleagues in the tyre factory: “You are all going to die.”

According to VW, the workers feared their radical colleague more and more. Therefore the car manufacturer had no alternative but to dismiss him. On January 11, Samir B. got his passport back.

In Hannover, he puts it on the table in front of him defiantly. VW want to get rid of the man by any means; upon the judge’s advice, they even offer him a €65,000 settlement and a clean employment reference letter — the Islamist seems interested, asks repeatedly what net sum that would get for him. But his attorneys refuse the deal!

Then at 6:39pm the court hands down the verdict: They deem the dismissal invalid! VW had not been able to show that the company’s peace was manifestly disturbed.

This means: in four weeks, when the Islamist receives the written verdict, VW will have to let him work again. The car manufacturer still consider the dismissal valid, and will probably take it to the Federal Labor Court.

At the opening of the trial of a knife-attack in Hamburg-Barmbek, the accused Palestinian confesses. The deed was religiously motivated: He wanted to kill as many German Christians as possible.

About five months after the knife attack in a supermarket in Hamburg with one dead and six wounded, the accused Palestinian confessed the bloody deed.

The attorney of the rejected asylum seeker read out a confession at the opening of the trial at the Senate for the Protection of the State in the Hamburg Higher Regional Court. “He emphatically pleads guilty on all charges”, he explained. “The deeds had, in his view, a religious background”.

Murder as many German Christians as possible
According to the Federal Attorney, the perpetrator acted out of an islamistic mindset. He wanted to kill as many German citizens of Christian faith as possible. The representative of the Federal Attorney said, reading out the indictment: “He made this decision as a contribution to worldwide Jihad.”

Prosecution deem him fully criminally liable and accuse Ahmad A. of murder, attempted murder, and grievous battery in six cases.

His attorney said that his client was under high pressure when he committed the deeds. Ahmad A. further declared that he was not going to answer questions to the details of the deeds.

Instead, he answered questions about his vita. He started studying dental medicine, but quitted. His mother was a teacher. He came to Germany to work and to make a living. Also, the Western lifestyle was a reason, in the beginning. But then he didn’t get along with it. “I had the impression that I wasn’t welcome”, he said, according to an interpreter who was translating from Arabic.

He refused to answer questions regarding the consummation of alcohol or drugs, just as questions about his turn towards religion and about ISIS. He also refused to comment on his statements in his first interrogations. “In the first three days, I was wounded, and unable to concentrate.”

The rejected asylum seeker had stabbed a 50-year-old to death in an Edeka supermarket, and then wounded six more people. A small, self-made ISIS flag was found in his refugee accommodation. But the terror militia did not claim the knife attack.

Breaking: Burning Car Rams Into Social Democratic Party SPD Headquarters, Berlin

Berlin – around midnight (CET), a burning car rammed through the glass front of the headquarters of the Social Democratic Party of Germany, SPD.

The driver has been taken to hospital.

Die Welt file it under “accident” and report that the driver intended to commit suicide. According to F.A.Z., the initial charge is planning grave arson.

The car was filled with three canisters of gasoline, bottles of other inflammable substances, and a propane gas cartridge, and burnt from the inside. The Federal Office For Criminal Investigations,  Bundeskriminalamt, took over investigations.

“Police Berlin: Around midnight, a man drove into the foyer of the SPD headquarters in the Willy Brandt Building in Kreuzberg. Apart from the driver, no one was wounded. Our LKA took over investigations.”

USA: Police ID suspect in Harrisburg shooting spree

Around 4 p.m., a series of shots was fired at a Capitol police car at the corners of Third and State streets in Harrisburg. This was followed with two other shootings: one at 5th and Market streets and the other at 17th and Mulberry streets.

Police shot and killed 51-year-old Ahmed Aminamin El-Mofty, later identifying him as the man behind all three shootings. Dauphin County District Attorney Ed Marsico said that police were deliberately targeted, and that the fatal shooting happened as El-Mofty approached officers with two rifles and a shotgun, shooting at them.

Police and firefighters were on-site with a large deployment. Visitors were requested to leave the Christmas Market. The explosives experts of the police arrived around 11PM. A robot searched the parcels for explosive materials. A so-called “special setup entity” is ongoing. These are set ups when situations are complex and a large number of officers will be needed for an extended period of time.

This is the attack that the Australian authorities are trying to write off as a byproduct of drugs and mental illness.

First, it should be noted that the percentage of violent antisocial behaviour by the mentally ill, is exactly the same as by the general population. The same cannot be said about Muslims.

Secondly, the excuse of drugs is precisely like saying that when a Nazi who goes and gets drunk sometimes, attacks a Synagogue or Jewish Community Centre, we blame it on the Jägermeister.

Concerning the train that derailed and fell onto a highway in the USA

It appears that this could be a political act as now, it is being reported that the train may have drained due to “objects being placed on the track”.

Rumour has it that ANTIFA, which is more and more looking like a branch of Islamic terror groups, had claimed that they were doing, and requesting that others also participate in, the pouring of concrete along railway lines in just this sort of situation.

Monday’s deadly Amtrak train derailment appears to have been caused by an object on the railway, according to a government official briefed on the crash.

 

A preliminary investigation suggests maintenance problems are unlikely to blame because the incident took place on brand-new tracks, the official told The Associated Press on condition of anonymity.

 

At least six people were killed and the death toll is expected to rise, the official said.

 

The Amtrak 501 plunged off an overpass onto I-5 near Lacey, Washington, sometime before 7:45 a.m., during its inaugural run between Seattle, Washington, and Portland, Oregon.

An official briefed on the investigation told The Associated Press that preliminary signs indicate that Train 501 may have struck something before going off the track. The official was not authorized to discuss the investigation publicly and spoke on the condition of anonymity.

 

In addition, the new high-tech Positive Train Control (PTC) system that each of the brand Amtrak Cascade engines are equipped with was not switched on.

 

The PTC computer system which prevents a train from exceeding a speed limit and can detect objects or collisions ahead is fitted to all the new Charger locomotives on the Seattle to Portland line.

 

However, according to CNN, at a conference call today, Amtrak President and Co-CEO Richard Anderson said Positive Train Control was not activated on the tracks at the time.

Here are two links which indicate that ANTIFA and protests on Fracking may be involved. Keep in mind that while this seems to be separate from Islamic terror, one of the things Muslim countries who produce nothing to speak of except oil are afraid of is US domestic energy sources. Using paid protesters, and now potentially lethal violence to stop domestic energy production would most certainly be an aspect of Islamic terror, just a more geopolitical than scriptural attack than usual.

Hamburg: Explosion Of Improvised Device In Subway

Explosives-alarm on the Veddel! According to first information, Sunday evening, around 5:30, an explosion took place at the subway station. The perpetrator(s) apparently are on the run. Fortunately, no one was wounded, according to the police.

According to the police, a pyrotechnic item exploded in a plastic bag deposited at the train station. The windows of an air trap were damaged, people were not harmed, according to police.

The perpetrator used a stop of the subway. He exited, deposited the bag on the platform, and quickly entered the train again. Shortly thereafter, there was a small detonation.

Witnesses report that after the bang, a lot of screws flew through the air. A policeman replies to this that indeed, screws were found at the scene.

It is now being investigated if these are connected to the explosive. The police was still working on the scene in the late evening. Several police deployments combed the area for more traces. The manhunt is in full swing. It is currently investigated as to whether the surveillance cameras give cues.

The subway traffic has just resumed. The S3 line was not able to stop at Veddel station until 10PM.

What Was The Role Of Intelligence Services In The Berlin Christmas Market Attack?

Germany – The following research by Stefan Aust and Helmar Büchel suggests that all the unexplainable “accidents” the German authorities made in dealing with Anis Amri in the year leading up to his attack might not have been accidents after all.

New insights in the case Amri: The Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution had already appointed a dedicated case handler to Amri. Why did she not raise the alarm?

The Berlin Christmas Market attacker Anis Amri was under surveillance, being shadowed and intercepted, much earlier than authorities and Federal government have admitted until now.
This is what emerges from thousands of files, dozens of confidential informant reports, and the protocols of the telephone and internet surveillance, which Welt Am Sonntag have exclusively obtained.
No later than November 2015, the Federal Attorney in Karlsruhe had the Tunisian pointedly surveyed by the Federal Office For Criminal Investigations (BKA) and the Land Office For Criminal Investigations (LKA) North Rhine-Westphalia, by a confidential informant of the police who calls himself “Murat” and appears in the documents as “VP01”.
The measure was part of the covert investigations against the alleged IS terror cell of the hate preacher Abdullah Abdullah from Hildesheim who is known under his pseudonym“Abu Walaa”.
As early as November 24., 2015, more than one year before the attack on the Breitscheidplatz, “VP01” reported concrete terror plans of Amri to the LKA Düsseldorf. From there, they were – just as all further insights – reported on to the BKA, the General Attorney, and the Federal Office For The Protection Of The Constitution. From no later than December 3., 2015, on, the often changing mobile phones of Amri were intercepted, and his internet connections surveyed.

Already on December 14., 2015, Anis Amri downloaded detailed instructions for mixing explosives, and for the construction of bombs and hand grenades, on his smart phone that was intercepted 24/7. From no later than February 2, 2016 on, Amri had phone conversations on this intercepted telephone with two IS cadres on the intermediate level of command, and offered himself as suicide attacker for an attack in Germany.

With the help of the police informant “VP01”, the Intelligence Officers managed the same month to enter the encrypted chat communication of Amri with the IS cadres in the messenger services telegram and whatsapp. While the Federal Government is claiming until now that BND (German Intelligence Service) and BfV (Office For The Protection Of The Constitution), had no operative parts in the Amri case, Welt am Sonntag have obtained emails and files from the authorities that prove a greater role of the German intelligence services. Already in January 2016, the BfV authored a two-page analysis of Anis Amri that was signed by BfV chief Maaßen personally.

12.000 The BKA (Federal Office For Criminal Investigation) sent 12,000 documents to the Office For Protection Of The Constitution.
More than 12,000 files, among them the communication with Amri’s IS contacts in Libya, which were secured from Amri’s smart phone on February 18., 2016, were sent by the BKA to the BfV. This is proven by the evaluating report of the BKA. The Federal Office For Protection Of The Constitution even appointed a dedicated case handler to Anis Amri. This agent (her name is known to Welt Am Sonntag) is employed in the anti terror department of the BfV in Berlin. She is on the same compound with the BKA’s Department 33 for the Protection Of The State which is responsible for Amri, too.
Welt Am Sonntag’s research also proves that Amri had even before his arrival in Italy in April 2011 close personal and even family ties with fighters and leading cadres of the Islamic State in Libya. These contacts were known to the Tunisian secret service for years. BKA and Federal Attorney demonstrably learnt of these family ties of Amri to the Islamic State, when they intercepted a phone call where Amri talked about a death of a cousin, fighting for the IS.
The reason why, in spite of these early, and crushing, findings of the German intelligence agencies, Amri was not arrested already one year before the attack in Berlin, does not emerge from the files available. But several months of investigations by Welt Am Sonntag suggest an involvement of international intelligence services. They might have seen a bait in Amri which would lead them to his instigators, the IS terror attack planners, in Libya.

Indeed, Amri was, according to findings of Welt am Sonntag, put under the Italian intelligence service AISI’s surveillance immediately after he was released from deportation custody in May 2015. Allegedly, they lost him, when he went on his way to Germany. Few weeks after he was shot near Milano, B2 stealth bombers from the US air force attacked, in a secret operation managed from Germany, exactly that IS desert camp in Libya, where the instigators of the Breitscheidplatz are suspected.

Hans-Christian Ströbele, member of the secret service control committee of the Bundestag, therefore suspects in an interview with Welt am Sonntag the “governing hand” of a US intelligence service or the US military behind the „otherwise inexplicable“ non-arrest of Anis Amri. The fact that the Federal government has not delivered the solving of the background, which was promised by Merkel the day after the attack,“is a massive scandal”, says Ströbele.
